The seal 68 is pressed against the cylindrical portion 2 h of the main body case 2 over the entire circumference, and seals the space between the second holder 60 and the main body case 2 airtightly.
40。The assembly procedure of the filter component 40 will be described. First, the columnar portion 54 of the first holder 50 is inserted into the opening of the filter 41 . When inserted deeply, the inner surface of the opening of the filter 41 comes close to the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical base 51 of the first holder 50 . Next, the columnar portion 54 and the filter 41 are inserted into the central opening of the second holder 60 . At this time, the circumferential positions of the notch 52 of the first holder 50 and the locking convex portion 64 of the second holder 60 are aligned with each other and inserted. Then, the locking convex portion 64 is bent radially outward, passes over the cylindrical base portion 51 , and is fitted into the notch portion 52 (engaged with the notch portion 52 ) as shown in FIG. 3 . At this time, as shown in FIG. 4 , the convex portion 53 of the first holder 50 and the concave portion 65 of the second holder 60 are engaged with each other. The rear end portion of the filter 41 is sandwiched between the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical base portion 51 of the first holder 50 and the inner peripheral surface of the first cylindrical portion 63 of the second holder 60 . Assemble the filter component 40 through the above steps.
The procedure for attaching the filter component 40 to the main body case 2 is as follows. In a state where the second holder 60 is rotated 45 degrees clockwise about the central axis with respect to the rotational position in FIG. 5 , the filter member 40 is assembled to the main body case 2 from the front. Thereafter, the filter member 40 is rotated 45 degrees counterclockwise about the central axis. Then, the engaging portion 67 of the second holder 60 wraps around the back of the wall portion 2k of the main body case 2, and the protruding portion 67a is embedded in the recessed portion 2j of the main body case 2. In order to detach the filter component 40 from the main body case 2, the installation procedure only needs to be reversed. That is, the filter member 40 only needs to be rotated 45 degrees clockwise about the central axis and separated forward from the main body case 2 .
To disassemble the filter component 40, simply reverse the assembly steps. That is, first, the first holder 50 is pulled out rearward from the second holder 60 . At this time, by applying a rearward force of more than a certain level to the first holder 50 , the engagement between the locking convex portion 64 and the notch portion 52 can be released. When the first holder 50 is pulled out from the second holder 60 , the filter 41 is detached forward from the first holder 50 .
The operation of the cleaner 1 will be described. When the operator operates the switch on the operation panel 5 to drive the motor 6 , the dust collecting fan 9 is rotated by the driving force of the motor 6 . The airflow generated by the dust collecting fan 9 is taken into the swirl chamber 3c from the suction duct part 3a. The airflow becomes a swirling flow in the swirling chamber 3c, passes through the filter member 40, and enters the fan cover 20 from the air suction ports 2d and 21. The airflow is sucked into the inside of the dust collecting fan 9 and discharged to the outside. It is guided by the fan cover 20 and discharged rearward from a vent (not shown) of the fan guide 10 . The airflow is finally discharged to the outside of the main body case 2 from the exhaust port 2e. The dust that enters together with the airflow from the suction port 3a is centrifugally separated in the swirl chamber 3c, and is accumulated inside the swirl chamber 3c and outside the filter member 40. The dust that has not been centrifugally separated is collected by the filter 41 of the filter member 40 and accumulated inside the swirl chamber 3c and outside the filter member 40.
