Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a device for transporting pallets (Paletten) having the features of the preamble of claim 1.
The invention also relates to a machine having at least one device according to the invention according to claim 6.
The invention is based on the field of the graphic industry and relates in particular to the field of feeding (for example to a printing press) a tray for a stack of sheets made of a printing material.
Background
DE4023877a1 discloses a roller conveyor for carriages in a printing machine.
DE10122430a1 discloses a buffer station for use in the logistics of printing plants.
DE3835268C2 discloses a device for removing a stack of trays with a table that can be raised and lowered.
The documents JPH1018634A, JPH1037511A and JPH10140871A belong to the field of storing car bodies in high-rise warehouses, that is to say at a great distance from the graphics industry. They show an area arranged above ground and an area arranged below ground with a lift for the underframe-like elements.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is therefore to provide an improved solution in relation to the prior art, which makes it possible in particular to store the machine racks in an area-saving manner (in particular with regard to the floor area of the machine) and in a non-disruptive manner (in particular with regard to the access of the operator to the machine).
These objects are achieved according to the invention by a device according to claim 1 and a machine according to claim 6.
The invention is advantageous and therefore preferred from the dependent claims as well as from the description and the drawings.
The invention relates to a device for conveying a tray for a stack of sheets of a printing material, having a conveying path for the tray arranged in a horizontal plane, characterized in that the device comprises a store for the tray, wherein the store receives a plurality of empty trays arranged one above the other, wherein the store is arranged below the horizontal plane.
The invention also relates to a graphic industrial machine having at least one device according to the invention, wherein the machine is arranged substantially above the horizontal plane.
The invention advantageously enables the storage of pallets for machines in an area-saving manner, in particular with respect to the floor area of the machine, and in a non-disturbing manner, in particular with respect to the access of operators to the machine. In this way the area and space in the printing plant can be used efficiently. Productivity can be improved and cost can be reduced.
The following describes preferred developments of the device according to the invention (shortly: developments).
An embodiment can be characterized in that the storage device comprises a stroke device/lifting device for the carriage, which has a drive and a control. The actuator may comprise a scissor joint (Scherengelenk). The controller may comprise a digital computer, preferably connected to the computer of the carrier stream.
A development may be characterized in that the control unit controls the drive of the displacement device in such a way that the displacement device is lowered for receiving a carrier and raised for delivering a stored carrier.
An embodiment can be characterized in that the store is embodied as a vertical store in that it receives a plurality of empty racks arranged one above the other in the vertical direction or a plurality of empty racks arranged one above the other (autofeinander).
A development may be characterized in that the store is embodied as a vertical store in that it receives a plurality of empty racks arranged directly above one another in the vertical direction or a plurality of empty racks arranged directly above one another.
The following describes a preferred development of the machine according to the invention (shortly: development).
An extension may be characterized in that the horizontal plane is constituted by a lobby floor and the machine stands on the lobby floor. The machine may be placed directly on the lobby floor, such as with its feet. The machine may be placed indirectly on the lobby floor: the machine may be a so-called "high-lying machine" and stands on a raised portion, such as a concrete foundation strip, located on the floor of the lobby.
An development may be characterized in that the store is embodied as a vertical store and is arranged in a pit (Grube) in the lobby floor.
A development may be characterized in that the conveyor section is arranged below an operator access of the machine. The passage is used to make it easier for the operator to access the machine (in particular the tall or highly arranged part of the machine, such as a printing unit). The channel may be accessible by an operator.
A development may be characterized in that the machine is a printing press.
The features and feature combinations disclosed in the technical field, summary and developments of the invention above and in the exemplary embodiments of the following paragraphs can be combined in any way to form further advantageous developments of the invention.
Drawings
The figures show preferred embodiments of the invention and its developments. Mutually corresponding features are denoted by the same reference numerals in the figures. Repeated reference numerals in the drawings have been omitted for clarity.
Fig. 1 shows a preferred embodiment of the device/machine according to the invention from the side.
Fig. 2 shows a preferred embodiment of the device/machine according to the invention from above.
Detailed Description
Fig. 1 and 2 schematically show a device 1 according to the invention for conveying trays 2 (for example for stacking sheets of a printing material), in particular for conveying empty trays, that is to say unloaded trays (empty trays). Fig. 1 shows the device from the side. Fig. 2 shows the same apparatus from above.
The device 1 comprises a transport section 3 for the carriers 2. The conveyor sections 3 are arranged at least in sections or completely in a horizontal plane 4 (shown in fig. 1 as a dashed line, for example a lobby floor 4). The transport section 3 may comprise a plurality of transport elements 7 for the carriers 2. These transport elements 7, such as FTFs (driverless transport system), can be moved along the transport path 3 together with the carriages 2 (preferably each carriage 2 on one movable transport element 7); alternatively, the transport element 7 can be fixedly mounted (for example, a roller) and the carriage 2 can be moved by the transport element 7.
The transport section 3 can comprise so-called pushers (slides) which move the carriers 2 individually from the transport element 7 onto the stroke device 11 of the apparatus 1 and/or from the stroke device 11 onto the transport element 7, respectively. The pusher member may include a driver and a controller.
The apparatus 1 comprises a store 10 (in particular a vertical store). The store 10 in turn comprises the stroke means 11 and its drive 12 and control 13, the drive 12 and the control 13 being used to raise and lower the stroke means 11 (see vertical double arrow 14). The vertical store can receive a plurality of pallets 2 and store them in a vertical orientation, preferably one on top of the other (i.e. in a pallet-on-pallet manner).
Said store 10 can be arranged in a pit 5, preferably in a lobby floor 4. The store 10 may in this case constitute a subterranean store 10.
In fig. 1, a graphic industrial machine 20, in particular a printing press, is shown (see dashed lines). The machine may include a channel 21 for use by an operator.
As can be seen from fig. 1, the device 1 according to the invention comprises a store 10 for the pallets 2 in such a way that the store 10 receives a plurality of empty pallets arranged one above the other and the store 10 is arranged substantially below the horizontal plane 4.
