Description

Energy saving method, network equipment, device and storage medium
Technical Field
The present application relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to an energy saving method, a network device, an apparatus, and a storage medium.
Background
In the 5G (the 5th generation, fifth generation mobile communication technology) NR (New Radio) system, the power consumption of 5G devices is much larger than that of 4G (the 4th generation, fourth generation mobile communication technology) devices, which is caused by the 5G network characteristics: the 5G base station supports a larger bandwidth, supports a 100MHz bandwidth in a Sub-6GHz frequency band (frequency band below 6 GHz), and supports a 400MHz bandwidth in a millimeter wave frequency band, so that a radio frequency module is required to increase the transmitting power to meet the coverage effect and capacity, ensure the power spectrum density; the number of antenna units of Massive MIMO (large-scale antenna technology) increases, each antenna unit has a PA (Power Amplifier) and an RF (Radio Frequency) unit, a TRX (TRANSCEIVER RECEPTION, transceiver) link increases, and simultaneously, the calculation Power consumption of a BBU (Building Base band Unit, baseband processing unit) increases with the increase of the TRX link, so the total Power consumption of a base station increases with the increase of the TRX link; the requirements of large bandwidth and low time delay on the processing capacity of software and hardware are higher, and the power consumption requirements are naturally larger; considering the difference of frequency bands, the 5G network with the frequency band of 2.6GHz/3.5GHz achieves the same coverage effect as the 4G network, and currently, the number of 5G base stations is about 1.5 times that of 4G base stations, so that the power consumption of the whole 5G network is greatly increased. The introduction of 5G would greatly increase the operating costs, and therefore, it is necessary to provide energy saving methods for 5G NR systems.
Currently, related energy-saving methods mainly include a method of switching off DTX (Discontinuous Transmission ) based on symbols, an energy-saving method based on channel switching off, an energy-saving method based on deep sleep, an energy-saving method based on bandwidth compression, and an energy-saving method based on carrier switching off. However, the above energy saving methods all have their respective applicable scene limitations and disadvantages: the method based on symbol turn-off DTX is suitable for the scenes which are idle at night, are not in densely populated areas and are insensitive to delay, and under the low-load scene, the user data are randomly scattered in a scheduler, so that the consumption reduction effect is limited; the energy-saving method based on channel shutdown is suitable for the scenes of idle night, non-population-intensive areas, no or less users at the cell edge, and has the defect of acting on the whole cell; the energy-saving method based on deep dormancy is suitable for tidal scenes such as indoor coverage areas, markets, subways and the like, and has the defect that UE (User Equipment) cannot reside on a 5G network; the energy-saving method based on bandwidth compression is suitable for the idle time of a cell, and has the defects that the speed of burst business is influenced and the burst business acts on the whole cell; the energy-saving method based on carrier turn-off is suitable for the scene of the multi-carrier coverage area and obvious tide phenomenon, and has the defect that if the carrier turn-off threshold is set unreasonably, service admission failure can occur when a user cuts into a coverage cell, so that the perception of the user is influenced and the user acts on the whole cell.
From the above, various energy saving methods are single in applicable scene and cannot be applicable to composite scene, and the existing energy saving method can save energy, but can influence user perception while saving energy.

The character "/" generally indicates that the context-dependent object is an "or" relationship.
The term "plurality" in embodiments of the present application means two or more, and other adjectives are similar.
The following description of the embodiments of the present application will be made clearly and completely with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which it is apparent that the embodiments described are only some embodiments, but not all embodiments of the present application. All other embodiments, which can be made by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments of the application without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the application.
At present, various energy-saving methods are single in applicable scene and cannot be applicable to composite scenes, and the existing energy-saving methods can save energy, but can influence user perception while saving energy.
In order to solve the above problems, the embodiments of the present application provide an energy saving method, a network device, an apparatus, and a storage medium, so as to achieve energy saving in a composite scenario.
Fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart of an energy saving method according to an embodiment of the application, as shown in fig. 1, the method includes the following steps:
step 100, acquiring the number of Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection users and the utilization rate of Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs) corresponding to each transmitting beam according to a preset time interval;
specifically, the implementation body of the embodiment of the present application is 5G base station gNB (Next Generation Node Base, next generation base station). The 5G base station gNB is divided into a macro base station and a micro base station, wherein the macro base station is mainly used for outdoor coverage, and the micro base station is smaller in transmitting power and is mainly used for indoor scenes. The micro base station is a combination of the micro base station, the pico base station and the femto base station. The macro base station is suitable for wide area coverage, the micro base station is biased towards local area coverage, the pico base station is equivalent to enterprise-level WiFi, and the femto base station is equivalent to a home router. Aiming at different indoor scenes, such as a high-speed rail station, an airport, a large market and the like, a plurality of micro base stations are required to be arranged to meet the requirements; in places such as office buildings, factory parks and the like, the flow of people is relatively fixed, and the pico-cell can be qualified; femto is required to meet the needs of home, cafe and other scenes. The above possible definitions of various base stations are only exemplified here, and the above various base stations are not limited to the above definitions.
The terminal device according to the embodiment of the application can be a device for providing voice and/or data connectivity for a user, a handheld device with a wireless connection function, or other processing devices connected to a wireless modem, or smart home devices, sensors and other devices which can be used by the user. The names of the terminal devices may also be different in different systems, for example in a 5G system, the terminal devices may be referred to as User Equipment (UE). The wireless terminal device may communicate with one or more Core Networks (CNs) via a radio access Network (Radio Access Network, RAN), which may be mobile terminal devices such as mobile phones (or "cellular" phones) and computers with mobile terminal devices, e.g., portable, pocket, hand-held, computer-built-in or vehicle-mounted mobile devices that exchange voice and/or data with the radio access Network. Such as Personal communication services (Personal Communication Service, PCS) phones, cordless phones, session initiation protocol (Session Initiated Protocol, SIP) phones, wireless local loop (Wireless Local Loop, WLL) stations, personal digital assistants (Personal DIGITAL ASSISTANT, PDA) and the like. The wireless terminal device may also be referred to as a system, subscriber unit (subscriber unit), subscriber station (subscriber station), mobile station (mobile station), remote station (remote station), access point (access point), remote terminal device (remote terminal), access terminal device (ACCESS TERMINAL), user terminal device (user terminal), user agent (user agent), user equipment (user device), and embodiments of the present application are not limited.
In SUB6 (SUB-6 GHz frequency band, frequency band below 6 GHz), the gNB can transmit 8 beams at most, and through different beam weight configurations, the 8 beams can respectively cover different scenes. For example, a residential area 8-beam coverage, where 2-beams cover a leisure square and 6-beams cover a residential building. At night, when no user or few users exist in the leisure square, and part of beam users are few or even no user, corresponding beams can be closed to reduce power consumption for energy saving; for business and living integrated office buildings, university teaching buildings and the like, corresponding wave beams can be closed to reduce power consumption for energy saving when no person is on the weekend or at night. Accordingly, embodiments of the present application provide a beam-based energy saving method.
Firstly, the gNB acquires the number of RRC (Radio Resource Control ) connection users corresponding to each beam (i.e., each transmission beam) transmitted by the gNB according to a preset time interval, and acquires the PRB (Physical resource block ) utilization. Here, the preset time interval may be set.
The number of radio resource control RRC connected users corresponding to each transmission beam refers to the number of terminal devices UE in a connected state under each transmission beam, and the gNB obtains, through persistent statistics, the number of RRC connected users corresponding to each transmission beam. For example, the number of RRC connection users corresponding to each transmit beam is counted every 1 ms.
In the embodiment of the present application, the terminal device in the connection state may also be referred to as a connection state terminal.
Step 101, cutting out terminal equipment in a connection state in a target transmitting beam to a target base station under the condition that the RRC connection user number and the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the target transmitting beam meet the beam closing condition;
Specifically, the gNB determines whether a beam closing condition is satisfied based on the obtained radio resource control RRC connection user number and physical resource block PRB utilization ratio corresponding to each transmitting beam, and if the RRC connection user number and PRB utilization ratio corresponding to a certain beam satisfy the beam closing condition, in order to achieve energy saving, before closing the beam, switches a terminal device in a connected state in the beam to a target base station, so as to ensure that normal communication service of a connected state terminal under the beam is not affected.
It will be appreciated that to achieve power savings, a single beam is turned off when there is no or a low number of users in that beam. Accordingly, the beam-off condition refers to a condition that it is possible to determine that the beam needs to be turned off based on the number of RRC connection users and PRB utilization corresponding to a single beam.
For any beam of the gNB, if the RRC connection user number and PRB utilization corresponding to the beam satisfy the beam closing condition, the beam is taken as a target transmission beam, and the terminal device in a connected state in the target transmission beam is cut out to the target base station.
The target base station is another base station of the beam coverage area where the terminal device is located, different from the base station gNB transmitting the target transmission beam. In some embodiments, the gNB is a micro base station, and the target base station is specifically a 5G macro base station or a 4G base station.
Step 102, after all the terminal devices in connection state in the target transmitting beam have been cut out, the target transmitting beam is transmitted with zero power.
Specifically, after all terminal devices in a connection state in the target transmitting beam are cut off, the target transmitting beam is transmitted through zero power to realize beam closing, and the energy-saving mode is entered. It should be noted that, the zero-power transmission beam means that the transmission power of the beam is set to zero, and the beam is not directly turned off.
The energy saving method provided by the embodiment of the application determines whether the corresponding beam should be closed or not based on the RRC connection user number and the PRB utilization rate under each transmitting beam, realizes the energy saving of the beam level, is not limited by a specific scene, solves the energy saving problem under a composite scene, and ensures the user perception while realizing the energy saving.
Optionally, according to an embodiment of the present application, the method for saving energy, acquiring, according to a preset time interval, a number of radio resource control RRC connection users and a physical resource block PRB utilization ratio corresponding to each transmission beam includes:
acquiring a beam where the terminal equipment is located based on a physical random access channel PRACH, or acquiring the beam where the terminal equipment is located based on a sounding reference signal SRS;
According to the beam of the terminal equipment, counting the number of RRC connection users corresponding to each transmitting beam respectively;
And acquiring the PRB utilization rate corresponding to each transmitting beam.
Specifically, when the terminal device resides in the cell, the beam where the terminal device is located may be obtained from an SSB (Synchronization SIGNAL AND PBCH block), when the terminal initiates a service, random access is first performed, and through PRACH (Physical random ACCESS CHANNEL) sent by the random access UE, the gNB may learn on which beam the terminal is currently located. I.e. the gNB can acquire the beam where the terminal equipment is located from the physical random access channel PRACH sent when the terminal is randomly accessed.
In addition, when the beam is replaced by the connection state terminal, the change of the gcb to which beam can be notified through different configurations of SRS (Sounding REFERENCE SIGNAL ), that is, the gcb can learn the beam where the UE is located based on the SRS.
And then, the gNB counts the number of RRC connection users corresponding to each transmitting beam according to the beam where the terminal equipment is located, and obtains the PRB utilization rate corresponding to each transmitting beam.
Optionally, according to the energy saving method of one embodiment of the present application, the beam closing condition is specifically: and within a preset time period, the number of RRC connection users corresponding to the beam is smaller than a beam closing RRC threshold value, and the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the beam is smaller than the beam closing PRB threshold value.
Specifically, the beam-off condition refers to a condition that it is determined that the beam needs to be turned off based on the number of RRC connection users and PRB utilization corresponding to a single beam.
In this embodiment, the beam-off condition is specifically: the number of RRC connection users corresponding to the beam is smaller than the beam closing RRC threshold value, the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the beam is smaller than the beam closing PRB threshold value, and the state of being simultaneously satisfied is continuously preset time.
It should be noted that, the preset duration, the beam-off RRC threshold, and the beam-off PRB threshold may be configured.
And starting a beam closing flow when the number of RRC connection users and the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the single beam reach respective threshold values and a period of time is continued.
Optionally, according to an energy saving method of an embodiment of the present application, in a case where an RRC connection user number and a PRB utilization ratio corresponding to a target transmit beam satisfy a beam closing condition, cutting a terminal device in a connected state in the target transmit beam to a target base station, the method includes:
If the judgment that the RRC connection user number corresponding to the target transmitting beam is smaller than the beam closing RRC threshold value and the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the target transmitting beam is smaller than the beam closing PRB threshold value is obtained, a beam closing timer is started;
In the timing process of the beam closing timer, if the number of RRC connection users corresponding to the target transmitting beam is not smaller than a beam closing RRC threshold or the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the target transmitting beam is not smaller than a beam closing PRB threshold, closing the beam closing timer;
and when the beam closing timer expires, cutting out the terminal equipment in a connection state in the target transmitting beam to a target base station.
Specifically, the embodiment of the application realizes beam closing by setting a beam closing timer.
And the gNB continuously counts the number of RRC connection users and the PRB utilization rate corresponding to each transmitting beam, and if judging that the number of RRC connection users corresponding to the target transmitting beam is smaller than the beam closing RRC threshold value and the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the target transmitting beam is smaller than the beam closing PRB threshold value, the beam closing timer is started.
The method comprises the steps that a beam closing timer starts to count, in the process of counting by the beam closing timer, gNB still continuously counts (namely, acquires every preset time) the RRC connection user number and the PRB utilization rate corresponding to a target transmitting beam, if the RRC connection user number corresponding to the target transmitting beam is not smaller than a beam closing RRC threshold value or the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the target transmitting beam is not smaller than a beam closing PRB threshold value, the beam closing timer is closed, and the beam closing flow is stopped if the beam closing condition cannot be continuously met;
and when the beam closing timer expires, cutting out the terminal equipment in a connection state in the target transmitting beam to a target base station.
Wherein the duration of the beam-off timer is configurable.
The energy saving method provided by the embodiment of the application realizes the beam closing flow by using one timer, has simple realization method, realizes the energy saving of the beam level, is not limited by specific scenes, solves the energy saving problem in a composite scene, and ensures the perception of a user while realizing energy saving.
Based on the foregoing embodiment, when the beam-off timer expires, the switching-out the terminal device in the connected state in the target transmit beam to the target base station includes:
when the beam closing timer is overtime, estimating the corresponding RRC connection user number and PRB utilization rate after the target base station receives the terminal equipment in the connection state in the target transmitting beam;
if the first condition is met, a punishment timer is started, otherwise, the terminal equipment in a connection state in the target transmitting beam is cut out to the target base station;
When the penalty timer times out and still satisfies a first condition, closing the beam closing timer;
wherein, the first condition is: and the estimated result is that after the target base station receives the terminal equipment in the connection state in the target transmitting beam, the RRC connection user number or PRB utilization rate corresponding to the target base station reaches a beam starting threshold.
Specifically, when the terminal device in the connection state in the target transmitting beam is cut out to the target base station, in order not to affect the normal communication service of other users under the target base station, whether the network resources of the target base station are sufficient needs to be considered.
And when the beam closing timer is overtime, the gNB estimates the number of RRC connection users and the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the target base station after receiving the terminal equipment in the connection state in the target transmitting beam.
If the estimated result is that after the target base station receives the terminal equipment in the connection state in the target transmitting beam, the RRC connection user number or PRB utilization rate corresponding to the target base station reaches a beam starting threshold, switching rejection is needed to be executed, the gNB starts a punishment timer, and the terminal equipment is not cut out before the punishment timer is overtime.
The types of the beam starting threshold comprise a beam starting RRC threshold value and a beam starting PRB threshold value.
Otherwise, if the estimated result is that after the target base station receives the terminal equipment in the connection state in the target transmitting beam, the RRC connection user number and PRB utilization ratio corresponding to the target base station do not reach the beam starting threshold, the terminal equipment in the connection state in the target transmitting beam may be cut out to the target base station.
When the penalty timer expires, and condition one is still satisfied, the gNB closes the beam closing timer.
According to the energy saving method provided by the embodiment of the application, when the terminal equipment in the beam in the connection state is cut out to the target base station, the RRC connection user number and the PRB utilization rate of the target base station are estimated, whether the switching of the terminal equipment is executed is determined according to the estimated result, and the energy saving is realized and other users can normally use the network for communication.
Optionally, the energy saving method according to one embodiment of the present application, after the transmitting the target transmission beam with zero power, further includes:
And recovering the transmitting power of the target transmitting beam under the condition that the RRC connection user number or the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the target base station meets the beam starting condition.
Specifically, after the terminal equipment in the connection state is cut out to the target base station, the target base station continuously counts the number of RRC connection users or the PRB utilization rate of the target base station every preset time, and judges whether the number of RRC connection users or the PRB utilization rate meets the beam starting condition.
In the embodiment of the application, the beam starting condition means that the number of RRC connection users and the utilization rate of PRB reach a beam starting threshold and last for a period of time.
If the number of RRC connection users or the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the target base station meets the beam starting condition, the gNB needs to restart the beam which is closed before, namely, the transmitting power of the closed beam is recovered, and the energy-saving mode is exited, so that the communication requirement of the user terminal is ensured, and the user perception is ensured.
Based on the foregoing embodiments, when the RRC connection user number or PRB utilization corresponding to the target base station satisfies the beam activation condition, recovering the transmit power of the target transmit beam includes:
if the number of RRC connection users corresponding to the target base station is greater than a beam starting RRC threshold value, or the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the target base station is greater than a beam starting PRB threshold value, a beam starting timer is started;
And when the beam starting timer expires, recovering the transmitting power of the target transmitting beam. Specifically, if the number of RRC connection users corresponding to the target base station reaches the beam-starting RRC threshold, or if the PRB utilization corresponding to the target base station reaches the beam-starting PRB threshold and lasts for a period of time, the gNB needs to restart the beam that was turned off before, that is, recover the transmit power of the beam that was turned off, and exit the energy-saving mode.
The embodiment of the application realizes the beam recovery flow by starting the beam start timer. The duration of the beam-on timer is configurable.
And if the gNB knows that the RRC connection user number corresponding to the target base station is greater than the beam starting RRC threshold value, or if the gNB knows that the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the target base station is greater than the beam starting PRB threshold value, starting a beam starting timer. And when the beam starting timer expires, recovering the transmitting power of the target transmitting beam.
In addition, if the gcb knows that the number of RRC connection users corresponding to the target base station is not greater than the beam-on RRC threshold value in the counting process of the beam-on timer, or if the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the target base station is not greater than the beam-on PRB threshold value, the beam-on timer is turned off.
In one embodiment, the beam restoration procedure may also be implemented by a first beam-on timer and a second beam-on timer. The duration of the first beam-on timer and the duration of the second beam-on timer are both configurable. If the gNB knows that the RRC connection user number corresponding to the target base station is greater than the beam starting RRC threshold value, a first beam starting timer is started, or if the gNB knows that the PRB utilization rate corresponding to the target base station is greater than the beam starting PRB threshold value, a second beam starting timer is started; and if the first beam starting timer or the second beam starting timer is overtime, recovering the transmitting power of the target transmitting beam.
It should be noted that, if the gNB knows that the number of RRC connection users corresponding to the target base station is not greater than the beam-on RRC threshold in the counting process of the first beam-on timer, the first beam-on timer is turned off. Similarly, if the gcb knows that the PRB utilization corresponding to the target base station is not greater than the beam-on PRB threshold in the timing process of the second beam-on timer, the second beam-on timer is turned off.
The energy-saving method provided by the embodiment of the application can restore the beam transmitting power when the beam restoring condition is met, thereby guaranteeing the communication requirement of the user terminal and ensuring the perception of the user.
