技术领域

背景技术
近来,电子烟作为一种用于通过无烟吸气过程提供尼古丁的新产品而兴起。通常,这类器具由电源(通常为电池)和雾化装置组成。在可重复使用的电子烟中,所述两项被分离为电池和雾化器(cartomizer),以允许在为了另外的使用而保留成本更高的电池和关联电路(微控制器、开关、指示LED等)的同时,移除和替换容纳有尼古丁液体的雾化器。在一次性的电子烟中,所述两项被组合以集成功能至一个单元,所述单元在电池电量耗尽或容纳尼古丁的液体耗尽后被丢弃。

参考图1,用于蒸发器的电池壳体100的一个实施例可以包括管件110、电池120、输出连接器130、压力开关140、印刷电路板150、橡胶或塑料的垫圈160、半透明的塑料覆盖件170和绝缘塑料件180。
管件110可以由铝或另一合适的材料构建,并且可以被制造为各种尺寸。电池120可以是例如锂电池,或本领域技术人员所知的或待开发的另一类型的电池。取决于所期望的尺寸和电池容量,可以使用各种电池模型和尺寸。在一些实施例中,电池120可以被永久安装,并且不可以被用户去除。输出连接器130可以带凸螺纹,例如KR808D1螺纹,并且可以是摩擦配合至管件110中的铣制组件。胶黏剂可以被使用以将输出连接器130固定至管件110。取决于制造者,压力开关140可以是已知的或待开发的几种类型的压力开关的一种。压力开关140可以由用户在雾化器200(如图3所示)上吸气所形成的压差而被激活,所述雾化器可以连接至电池壳体100。气流可以通过雾化器200和输出连接器130中的中心孔。在一些情况下,因为激活电池120仅需要小压差,所以输出连接器130上存在气孔,所述气孔允许一些空气从电池120的外侧进入。
印刷电路板(PCB)150可以包括例如发光二极管(LED)、微控制器、至少一个电容和至少一个电阻。PCB150可操作为控制从电池120提供至输出连接器130的电压。PCB150还可操作为控制LED灯(例如在使用之后或在启动对电池120的充电时闪烁)。在制造过程中,PCB150可以纵向地安装在管件110中(所述管件通常旋转至如图1所示的方向)。垫圈160可以是橡胶、塑料或另一合适的材料,用于将压力开关140密封至管件110,以便阻止空气在开关140周围泄露。覆盖件170可以是半透明的,并且可以在LED灯上设置塑料件以允许光线通过覆盖件170而显示。在覆盖件170上可设置一个或多个开口、孔洞或缝隙,以允许少量的气流通过,以便允许在用户的吸气时激活压力开关140。绝缘塑料件180可以被设置以阻止PCB150和导线与压力开关140发生短路。

雾化器主体210可以是管件,并且可以由铝或另一种合适的材料构建。雾化器主体210尺寸可以被确定为储存可蒸发液体,并且可以被制造为各种尺寸。雾化器主体210可以具有与管件110基本匹配的直径。配合连接器220可以具有与输出连接器130相匹配的凹螺纹,例如KR808D1凹螺纹。胶黏剂可以被使用以将配合连接器220固定至雾化器主体210。嘴部件230可以由塑料或另一合适的材料构建,并且可以具有允许气流流动至用户以进行吸气的孔洞。加热元件可以是金属丝,并且可以由镍铬丝或其他合适的材料制造。加热元件240可以连接至配合连接器220,以允许由电池120激活加热元件240。在本发明中,可以预期用于附接加热元件240的各种已知的或将待开发的方法。玻璃纤维材质的纤维件250可以被构建为缠绕加热元件240的“绳”,由此,玻璃纤维材质的纤维件250可以与加热元件240关联。在制造过程中,每一个单独的加热元件240可以从更大件的“绳”上切取。玻璃纤维材质的纤维250可以为加热元件240提供结构支持,并且阻止或抵抗由于诸如电子烟的掉落而引起的移动,所述移动会导致电学短路。绝热管件260可以提供用于气流的路径,并且阻止纤维套270直接接触加热元件240。纤维套270(还可以被称为液体储存器)可以包括充当海绵的多纤维(polyfiber),以储存含有尼古丁的液体或其他可蒸发的液体。因此,储存器270可以阻止可蒸发的液体泄露出雾化器200。在一些实施例中,使用具有各种形状和构造的塑料从动垫圈(runnerwasher),以至少部分地阻止可蒸发液体的泄露。
蒸发器可以包括充电器组件(未示出),以便对电池120进行重复充电。充电器组件可以包含与配合连接器220相似的配合连接器,以允许与电池座的电连接。充电器可以在大约200mA的电流下提供4-5V的电压,以对电池120进行充电。在充电操作过程中,PCB150的微控制器可以抑制电压输出,并且可以使LED灯闪烁设定的诸如三次的次数,以显示充电循环的开始。充电器组件上的红色LED和绿色LED可以显示充电中(红色)状态或充电完成(绿色)状态。一旦电池120充电完成,用户可以从充电器上分离电池壳体,并且将电池壳体100连接至雾化器200。可以提供具有各种香料和尼古丁强度的可蒸发液体的雾化器。一旦雾化器200附接至电池壳体100,在如图所示的自动电池壳体的情况下,用户可以直接在雾化器200上吸气;或者,用户可以按压手动电池壳体上的手动开关。在被激活的情况下,加热元件240可以加热可蒸发液体,所述液体由此蒸发,从而形成烟状的注入了尼古丁和其他香料的蒸汽。
气流允许从电池壳体100外到用户的多条路径。一条气流路径可以通过覆盖件170,其允许激活压力开关140,因为一侧暴露在正常大气压力下,而相反侧暴露在由用户的吸力产生的负压下。另一条气流路径可以通过连接器的螺纹130、220。由于空气通过了雾化器200,所述空气可以与液体的蒸汽混合,并且可以由用户吸入。
图4显示和描述了用于PCB150的电路示意图的一个实施例以及蒸发器的其他元件。
图5到10显示了可以包括中断装置的实施例,所述中断装置可以检测与可蒸发液体的耗尽相关联的温度的迅速上升,并且对此作出反应。如图5所示,中断装置可以采用可熔断连接件310的形式,所述可熔断连接件在预定温度以上分离或熔断,以使电路开路并且阻止电流从电池120流至加热元件240。可熔断连接件310可以是保险丝类的装置,其中流至加热元件240的电流通过保险丝。如果温度超过预定水平,则保险丝可以被设计为熔化或打开。可熔断连接件310的位置可以改变以允许其更少地或更多地暴露在加热元件240产生的热量中,并且允许调整可熔断连接件310打开时剩余的可蒸发液体的液位。在一些实施例中,额外的电线连接可以被设置,从而,加热元件240不直接附接至可熔断连接件310,以阻止加热元件240在正常使用时妨碍(trip)保险丝。
如参考图6和7所描述的,在本发明范围内可想到另一实施例,其包括温度传感器320和关联电路。在图6所示的实施例中,传感器320和关联电路可以包含在雾化器200中。温度传感器320(例如热偶、热敏电阻、RTD,或其他已知的或待开发的温度传感器)可以被放置在雾化器200内部,接近加热元件240。关联电路能够为放大信号,并且决定温度是否超过某一预定水平,且同开关330(例如功率FET)被安装至也包含在雾化器200中的小型PCB340上,所述开关用于中断流至加热元件240的电流。
另一实施例可以包括在雾化器200中的温度传感器320,以及在电池部分中的关联电路,如图7所示。温度传感器320可以被放置在雾化器200内部,紧邻加热元件240。关联电路和开关330可以被增加至电池壳体100的PCB150。该电路的输出部可以连接至微控制器的数字输入部,并且,如果信号显示温度已经超过了预设水平,则微控制器固件可以被调整以关闭加热元件240。在一个实施例中,这一预定水平可以是大约300摄氏度。
另一实施例使用具有关联电路的液位或湿度传感器350,如图8中雾化器200所示。液位传感器350(电容的、电阻的或导热湿度传感器)可以被放置在雾化器200内部,接近加热元件240,在纤维套270内部。关联电路可操作为放大信号,并且决定液位/湿度是否超过某一预定水平,且开关330(例如功率FET)被安装至也包含在雾化器200中的小型PCB340上,所述开关用于中断流至加热线圈的电流。
在另一实施例中,现在参考图9,关联电路和开关330可以被增加至电池壳体100的PCB150。关联电路的输出部可以连接至微控制器的数字输入部,并且,如果信号显示液体水平/湿度低于预定水平,微控制器固件可以被调整以关闭加热线圈。
在本发明的另一实施例中,如图10所示,非易失性存储器和计数器360可以设置在雾化器200上,所述雾化器可操作为对“喷烟”的次数进行计数,或对雾化器200通过用户吸气而被激活的次数进行计数。这一数值可以存储在非易失性存储器中,因此该数据在不同使用之间不会遗失。一旦该数值达到与可蒸发液体的期望寿命相关联的某一预定最大值,加热元件240可以通过电学或机械的方法而被禁用。可选地,雾化器200可以具有指示器LED370或相似的标记装置,以为用户显示禁用状态。
非易失性存储器可以由微控制器或专用电路读取。微控制器还可以被构造为激活可选的指示器LED。在一些实施例中,这一电路可以布置在雾化器200中。在其他实施例中,这一电路可以布置在电池壳体100中。这会需要在电池壳体120和雾化器200之间额外的连接。在本发明的范围内可以预期的是,可以增加除了可操作为激活加热线圈的连接之外的电连接。
用于储存可蒸发液体的纤维套270的一些材料在大约300摄氏度时开始干燥,并且在大约600摄氏度的温度时,纤维套可以开始燃烧,从而为用户形成不期望的以及潜在不安全的吸气体验。

Claims (11)
1.一种蒸发器,其包含:
电池壳体;
容置在电池壳体中的电池;
可连接至电池壳体的雾化器,所述雾化器包括
雾化器主体,其尺寸设置成保持蒸发物质,以及
可操作为加热可蒸发物质的加热元件;以及
可连接至加热元件并可操作以中断加热元件的中断装置,其中,所述中断装置包括:
可操作为中断流至加热元件的电流的开关;
可连接至所述开关的温度传感器和相关的电路,所述相关的电路被配置成确定可蒸发物质的温度是否高于预定的等级,其中,所述温度传感器在所述雾化器主体中布置;或
可连接至所述开关的液位传感器和相关的电路,所述相关的电路被配置成确定液位或湿度等级是否高于预定的等级,其中,所述液位传感器在所述雾化器主体中的储存器内布置。
2.如权利要求1所述的蒸发器,其中,所述中断装置包括保险丝,所述保险丝可连接至电池和加热元件,并且,所述保险丝可操作为在预定的温度熔断。
3.如权利要求1所述的蒸发器,其中,所述开关容置在雾化器中。
4.如权利要求1所述的蒸发器,其中,所述开关容置在电池壳体中。
5.如权利要求1所述的蒸发器,其中,所述中断装置包括处理器,所述处理器可操作为确定雾化器通过用户的吸气而被激活的次数,并且所述中断装置包括用于在所述次数达到预定的最大值时停用所述加热元件的电或机械器具。
6.如权利要求1所述的蒸发器,其进一步包含发光二极管(LED)指示器,所述指示器可操作为在加热元件被中断时向用户照亮信号。
7.如权利要求1所述的蒸发器,其进一步包含
第一螺纹连接器,其被布置在电池壳体上,以及
第二螺纹连接器,其被布置在雾化器主体上,并且可连接至第一螺纹连接器。
8.如权利要求1所述的蒸发器,其进一步包含压力开关。
9.如权利要求1所述的蒸发器,其进一步包含可连接至电池的印刷电路板。
10.如权利要求9所述的蒸发器,其中,所述印刷电路板被布置在电池壳体中。
11.如权利要求9所述的蒸发器,其中,所述印刷电路板被布置在雾化器主体中。
