Technical Field
The invention relates to an external packer rubber sleeve in the field of petroleum well completion in the field of well completion tools.
Background
An external tubular packer is a well completion tool commonly used in petroleum well completion operations. The method has the main function of realizing the isolation between oil and gas layers with different pressures (or temperatures) or between the oil and gas layers and non-production layers (such as water layers) so as to achieve the purpose of preventing the mutual interference of fluids with different properties or pressure systems between different layers, thereby realizing the respective exploitation of the production layers, increasing the recovery ratio of an oil well and achieving the purpose of maximizing the development benefit of the oil well. The rubber sleeve is a core component of the external packer, and realizes the functions of contacting with a well wall (or a casing) and sealing an annular space. The conventional packer rubber barrel realizes setting in a hydraulic or mechanical mode. After the self-expanding rubber is contacted with substances such as water, hydrocarbon and the like, the volume is automatically expanded until the self-expanding rubber is contacted with a well wall, and stable annular isolation is formed. Both of these approaches have their own advantages. Therefore, how to combine the two setting modes and realize the continuous and stable pressure bearing of the rubber sleeve of the external packer is the development direction of the well completion technology.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to combine the advantages of extrusion type setting and self-expansion type setting to realize continuous sealing of an external packer rubber sleeve, and provides a double-acting external packer rubber sleeve which is reasonable in structural design, simple, reliable and suitable for petroleum well completion.

The outer rubber cylinder is of a circular structure, the outer diameter of the middle part is larger than the outer diameters of the two sides, a sawtooth-shaped groove is formed in the inner side of the middle part, and one end of the sawtooth-shaped groove is an inclined plane with an angle of 45 degrees and is matched with the left retaining ring or the right retaining ring; the supporting rubber cylinder is of a circular structure, the outer side of the middle part of the supporting rubber cylinder is provided with a saw-toothed bulge, the inner side of the middle part of the supporting rubber cylinder is provided with a saw-toothed groove, and one end part of the supporting rubber cylinder is an inclined plane with an angle of 45 degrees and is matched with the left retaining ring or the right retaining ring; the inner rubber cylinder is of a circular structure, and the outer side of the middle part of the inner rubber cylinder is provided with a saw-toothed bulge.
Or the left retaining ring and the right retaining ring are both of circular ring structures, the center part of the left retaining ring and the right retaining ring is provided with a circular hole, and an inclined plane with an angle of 45 degrees is arranged inside the left retaining ring and the right retaining ring. The rubber cylinder of the external packer can realize double setting under the double actions of pushing by a plunger or self-expansion after being soaked in liquid. The plunger promotes to sit and seals and can keep off ring or right fender ring through the plunger promotion left side, keeps off outer packing element, support packing element, the interior packing element in ring extrusion middle part, contacts with the wall of a well after the outside uplift of packing element, accomplishes to sit and seals. The sawtooth structures on the outer rubber cylinder, the supporting rubber cylinder and the inner rubber cylinder can prevent sealing failure caused by tearing of the rubber cylinder due to concentrated stress in the deformation process of the rubber cylinder. The self-expansion setting is realized by the property that the self-expansion setting is realized by the oil and water meeting of the outer rubber cylinder and the inner rubber cylinder. Before the packer rubber cylinder enters a well, liquid (water or diesel oil) is firstly injected into a liquid storage cavity of the inner rubber cylinder. After entering the well, the outer rubber cylinder is fully contacted with liquid in the shaft and then expands in volume, and the outer surface of the rubber cylinder is contacted with the well wall to finish setting. The internal surface of the inner rubber cylinder is fully contacted with liquid in the liquid storage cavity, and then the volume expansion is generated, the supporting rubber cylinder and the outer rubber cylinder are further extruded, the contact stress between the outer rubber cylinder and the well wall is increased, and the setting of the rubber cylinder is ensured. The inner surface of the liquid storage cavity of the inner rubber cylinder is provided with a slow release coating which can prevent the inner liquid from being seated in advance after the action of the rubber cylinder.
Compared with the prior art, the double-acting external packer rubber cylinder has the advantages that: (1) the full setting of the rubber cylinder can be realized under the combined action of two modes of compression and self-expansion when meeting oil and water; (2) the outer rubber barrel and the inner rubber barrel are both made of rubber which can automatically expand when meeting oil and water, and both have the function of automatically expanding when meeting oil and water, so that the contact stress between the rubber barrel and the well wall is increased, and the setting effect is guaranteed; (3) the inner surface of the liquid storage cavity of the inner rubber sleeve is provided with a slow release coating to prevent the rubber sleeve from being set in advance in the process of going into the well, so that the construction safety of well completion operation is guaranteed.

Example 1
A double-acting external packer packing suitable for petroleum well completion comprises a left baffle ring 1, a packing and a right baffle ring 6, wherein: the packing element is by outer packing element 2, support packing element 3 and the radial superimposed combined packing element structure of 5 three-layer packing elements of interior packing element, and outer packing element 2 and interior packing element 5 adopt from expanding rubber material to make, and the combined packing element structure sets up and keeps off between ring 1 and the right fender ring 6 at a left side, including packing element 5 inside is equipped with airtight stock solution chamber to set up in the left side in stock solution chamber and annotate liquid hole and check valve 4.
The left baffle ring 1 is of a circular ring structure, a circular hole is formed in the center of the left baffle ring, an inclined plane with an angle of 45 degrees is formed in the circular hole, and the right baffle ring 5 is a common baffle ring. The outer rubber cylinder 2 is of a circular structure, the outer diameter of the middle part is larger than the outer diameters of the two sides, a sawtooth-shaped groove is formed in the inner side of the middle part, the left end part of the sawtooth-shaped groove is an inclined plane with an angle of 45 degrees and is matched with the left retaining ring 1, and the right end part of the sawtooth-shaped groove is in right-angle butt joint with the right retaining ring 5; the supporting rubber cylinder 3 is of a circular structure, the outer side of the middle part of the supporting rubber cylinder is provided with a saw-toothed bulge, the inner side of the middle part of the supporting rubber cylinder is provided with a saw-toothed groove, the left end part of the supporting rubber cylinder is an inclined plane with an angle of 45 degrees and is matched with the left retaining ring 1, and the right end part of the supporting rubber cylinder is in right-angle butt joint with the right retaining ring 5; the inner rubber cylinder 5 is of a circular structure, and the outer side of the middle part of the inner rubber cylinder is provided with a saw-toothed bulge.

The left baffle ring 1 and the right baffle ring 5 are both of circular ring structures, a circular hole is formed in the center of the left baffle ring and a 45-degree inclined plane is formed in the left baffle ring and the right baffle ring. The outer rubber cylinder 2 is of a circular structure, the outer diameter of the middle part is larger than the outer diameters of the two sides, a sawtooth-shaped groove is formed in the inner side of the middle part, and two end parts of the sawtooth-shaped groove are inclined planes with an angle of 45 degrees and are respectively matched with the left retaining ring 1 and the right retaining ring 5; the supporting rubber cylinder 3 is of a circular structure, the outer side of the middle part of the supporting rubber cylinder is provided with a saw-toothed bulge, the inner side of the middle part of the supporting rubber cylinder is provided with a saw-toothed groove, and two end parts of the supporting rubber cylinder are inclined planes with an angle of 45 degrees and are respectively matched with the left retaining ring 1 and the right retaining ring 5; the inner rubber cylinder 5 is of a circular structure, and the outer side of the middle part of the inner rubber cylinder is provided with a saw-toothed bulge.
Example 4
On the basis of the above examples 1, 2 or 3, further:
the outer parts of the left retaining ring and the right retaining ring radially extend to form righting rings, so that the righting rings can be conveniently centered on a shaft or a well wall. The outer opposite ends of the left retaining ring and the right retaining ring extend axially to form limiting convex rings for clamping the outer rubber barrel 2. The check valve is of a cylindrical structure, a liquid inlet is formed in one side of the check valve, a liquid outlet is formed in the other side of the check valve, and the check valve is connected with the inner rubber cylinder in a bonding mode. The inner surface of the liquid storage cavity of the inner rubber cylinder is provided with a slow release coating.
Before the rubber sleeve of the double-acting external packer for petroleum well completion is put into a well, liquid (water or diesel oil) is injected into a liquid storage cavity of an internal rubber sleeve 5 through a one-way valve 4. And then is arranged on an external packer and is lowered into the well along with a completion string.
After the rubber sleeve of the external double-acting pipe packer is lowered to a preset position along with a well completion tool, a piston on the packer pushes the left baffle ring 1 and the right baffle ring 6 to extrude the external rubber sleeve 2, the supporting rubber sleeve 3 and the internal rubber sleeve 5. And the outer diameter of the outer rubber cylinder 2 is expanded until the outer diameter is contacted with the well wall, and setting under the compression action is completed. The sawtooth structures on the outer rubber cylinder 2, the supporting rubber cylinder 3 and the inner rubber cylinder 5 can prevent the rubber from being torn due to the concentrated local stress.
After the inner wall of the inner rubber tube 5 is contacted with the liquid in the liquid storage cavity, the volume expansion is increased, the supporting rubber tube 3 and the outer rubber tube 2 are further extruded, and the secondary setting under the self-expansion effect when meeting oil and water is completed.
The outer rubber sleeve 2 can also expand in volume after being fully contacted with liquid in a well, so that the setting effect of the packer is ensured.
The double-acting external packer rubber cylinder can realize double stable setting under two modes of compression and self-expansion when meeting oil and water.
