The temperature of the diesel engine is sharply increased from starting to normal working cylinder, and a sealing gap is required to be reserved for the piston ring during design and installation by considering the expansion and contraction effect of materials. When the engine works, high-temperature combustion gas enters a crankcase through a minimum sealing gap between a piston and a piston ring, and a part of power loss is caused. High performance internal combustion engines operate with relatively large power losses even when the minimum seal clearance is at its ideal level. In addition, the piston ring rotates freely in the ring groove, and if the opening directions of the first gas ring and the second ring are aligned in the axial direction (commonly called as symmetrical opening), the gas leakage amount and the oil consumption amount are obviously increased, the engine is not completely combusted, and blue smoke is generated. In addition, because the cylinder has inevitable out-of-roundness when working at high temperature, the existing piston ring is difficult to form a stable grinding surface with the cylinder wall when rotating in the groove, thereby failing to achieve good sealing effect and causing blow-by and power loss. If the blow-by amount is continuously increased, the wear and even the fracture of piston rings and pistons can be caused, and the service life of the engine is reduced.
