The present invention relates to an electrical connector, and more particularly, to a connector.
Background
The base and the bottom plate of the existing connector cover body are usually assembled together in a buckling mode, and the assembly mode is inconvenient to disassemble and assemble, and the bottom plate is not firm to install and is easy to loosen.

As shown in fig. 1 to 3, a connector according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: cover body 1, insulator 2 and terminal group 3.
The cover body 1 comprises a base 11 and a bottom plate 12 fixedly installed on the base 11, the bottom plate 12 is inserted into the base 11, and the base 11 and the bottom plate 12 are fixedly connected through screws. The housing body 2 is received in the receiving slot 114 of the base 11 of the housing 1, and the housing body 2 has a slot 21 for inserting the mating connector. The terminal set 3 includes a plurality of terminals 31 held in the insulating body 2, the terminals 31 include contact portions 311 and soldering portions 312, and the contact portions 311 of the terminals 31 extend into the insertion grooves 21 of the insulating body 2, and the soldering portions 312 of the terminals 31 are used for soldering with a circuit board.
In an exemplary embodiment, the base 11 is substantially rectangular, and the base 11 includes a top wall 111, a front wall 112, a rear wall and two side walls 113, and the walls of the base 11 together define a receiving slot 114 for receiving the insulating body 2.
Specifically, a plurality of insertion parts 121 are formed at the front end of the bottom plate 12, a plurality of insertion holes 115 matched with the insertion parts 121 are formed on the front wall 112 of the base 11, and the insertion parts 121 are inserted into the insertion holes 115. The bottom plate 12 can be positioned by the matching and plugging of the plugging part 121 and the jack 115, and the plugging mode is convenient to disassemble and assemble.

In an exemplary embodiment, an insulating sheet 4 for separating the base plate 12 and the circuit board is disposed on the top surface of the base plate 12 at a position corresponding to the circuit board, and the insulating sheet 4 can prevent the tin tip on the circuit board from contacting the base plate 12 to avoid short circuit. The insulating sheet 4 may be a sheet made of an insulating material such as mylar sheet or rubber sheet.
Specifically, the insulating sheet 4 is provided with a through hole corresponding to the screw hole 13, through which a screw for screwing the base 11 and the bottom plate 12 can pass to position the insulating sheet 4.
In an exemplary embodiment, the plurality of terminals 31 of the terminal group 3 are arranged side by side and divided into two rows, wherein the contact portion 311 of the upper row of terminals 31 and the contact portion 311 of the lower row of terminals 31 are arranged oppositely, and the welding portion 312 of the upper row of terminals 31 and the welding portion 312 of the lower row of terminals 31 are arranged flush with each other.
In an exemplary embodiment, the top and bottom surfaces of the insulative housing 2 are provided with a plurality of heat dissipation holes 23 penetrating the slot 21, and the heat dissipation holes 23 can provide heat dissipation channels for the contact portions 311 of the terminals 31 located in the slot 21.
In summary, the connector provided by the invention is assembled by inserting and fixing the base 11 and the bottom plate 12 of the cover body 1 by screws, and has the advantages of convenience in disassembly and assembly, firmness in assembly and difficulty in loosening; and the insulating sheet 4 for spacing the base plate 12 and the circuit board is provided at a position of the base plate 12 corresponding to the circuit board, so that a tin tip on the circuit board can be prevented from contacting the base plate 12 to avoid causing a short circuit phenomenon.

the terminal group comprises a plurality of terminals which are fixed in the insulating body, the terminals comprise contact parts and welding parts, the contact parts extend into the slots, and the welding parts are used for being welded with a circuit board.
2. The connector of claim 1, wherein the front end of the bottom plate is formed with a plurality of insertion portions, the front wall of the base is provided with a plurality of insertion holes matched with the insertion portions, and the insertion portions are inserted into the insertion holes.
3. The connector of claim 2, wherein the mating part includes a first extending part bent and extended upward from the front end surface of the base plate and a second extending part bent and extended forward from the first extending part.
4. The connector of claim 3, wherein the front end of the first extension of the mating part is formed with a chamfered portion.
5. The connector of claim 4, wherein the mating portion is integrally stamped and formed on the base plate.

10. The connector of claim 1, wherein the front wall of the housing defines mating openings corresponding to the slots of the housing.
