Abstract
The invention discloses a high-level expansion tank with a breather valve for an electrode boiler, which comprises an expansion tank with a water inlet pipe at the lower end and an air vent at the upper end. A limiting plate is installed at the upper end of the expansion tank, and an alarm switch is installed on the limiting plate. An overflow water pipe positioned below the limiting plate is arranged on the side wall of the expansion tank; a breather valve is arranged in the expansion tank and used for isolating medium water in the expansion tank from outside air; the breather valve includes an upper member and a lower member with a hollow cavity in the form of a sealed cavity therebetween. And the outer side walls of the upper layer component and the lower layer component are respectively provided with a sealing ring. On the premise of meeting the communication between the expansion tank of the electrode boiler system and the atmosphere, the contact between oxygen and the medium water of the electrode boiler is isolated, and the problems of oxidation corrosion of the electrode boiler and increase of the conductivity of the medium water are avoided.

Background
The existing high-voltage electrode boiler systems are generally divided into pressure-bearing and normal-pressure boiler systems. The pressure-bearing electrode boiler has the explosion risk of water vaporization, and the production and installation process needs the supervision and inspection of boiler safety departments, and the related departments need to be reported for inspection every year. The normal pressure electrode boiler does not bear the system pressure, is safe, and does not need to be frequently subjected to supervision and inspection by related departments, so the normal pressure electrode boiler is preferably selected under the condition of allowable process conditions.
According to the national standard requirement, the normal pressure electrode boiler system needs to be directly communicated with the atmosphere, so an open type high-level expansion water tank is usually installed. However, the open high-level expansion water tank is directly communicated with the atmosphere, oxygen can enter the electrode boiler medium water system, so that the electrode boiler is oxidized and corroded, the service life of the electrode boiler is shortened, the conductivity of the electrode boiler medium water is increased, and the operation stability of the electrode boiler is influenced.

The invention has the positive effects that: when the electrode boiler normally works, the breather valve floats up and down along with the liquid level in the expansion tank, and the air is isolated from the contact with the medium water through the sealing ring. When the electrode boiler works abnormally, the pressure of the medium water fluctuates to push the breather valve to exceed the overflow water pipe and contact the alarm switch, and the alarm switch is conducted to send out an electric signal for alarm. And simultaneously the medium water flows out from the overflow water pipe. On the premise of meeting the requirement that an expansion tank of an electrode boiler system is communicated with the atmosphere, the breather valve isolates oxygen from contacting with the medium water of the electrode boiler, and avoids oxidation corrosion of the electrode boiler and increase of the conductivity of the medium water. And the working safety of the electrode boiler system and the expansion tank is ensured.
The breather valve is provided with a hollow cavity, and the structural design can ensure that the breather valve has enough height to install at least two sealing rings.
In the optimized technical scheme, the limiting plate is a carbon steel limiting plate, and a magnet is fixedly installed on the upper side of the breather valve. When the electrode boiler works abnormally, the magnet attracts the carbon steel limiting plate, the fixed breather valve does not descend any more, and simultaneously the medium water flows out of the overflow water pipe. Referring to fig. 1, the embodiment of the invention comprises an expansion tank 1 with a water inlet pipe 1-1 at the lower end, wherein the tank body of the expansion tank 1 is generally a 304 stainless steel cylindrical shell, and an elliptical seal head at the lower part is provided with the water inlet pipe 1-1. The upper end of the expansion tank 1 is communicated with the atmosphere and fixedly provided with limiting plates 1-3. And the limiting plates 1-3 are provided with an alarm switch 3. And overflow water pipes 1-2 positioned below the limiting plates 1-3 are also arranged on the side wall of the expansion tank 1.
The expansion tank 1 is internally provided with a breather valve 2 for isolating medium water in the expansion tank from outside air. As shown in figure 2, the breather valve 2 comprises an upper layer member 2-1 and a lower layer member 2-2, wherein a hollow cavity 2-5 is arranged between the upper layer member 2-1 and the lower layer member 2-2, and the hollow cavity 2-5 is a sealed cavity. The outer side walls of the upper layer member 2-1 and the lower layer member 2-2 are respectively provided with annular grooves and sealing rings 2-3 are installed in the annular grooves.
The height of the breather valve 2 is not more than the height difference between the lower edge of the limiting plate 1-3 and the upper edge of the overflow water pipe 1-2, so that the overflow water pipe 1-2 can overflow when the breather valve 2 leans against the limiting plate 1-3.
The breather valve 2 is generally made into a short cylinder by engineering plastics, the outer surface of the breather valve is provided with two rubber sealing rings, the breather valve is hollow, and the integral specific gravity of the breather valve 2 is equivalent to that of water, preferably 0.8-1.0 time of that of the water.
Because the whole specific gravity of the breather valve 2 is equal to that of water, the breather valve 2 floats up and down along with the liquid level in the expansion tank 1 when the electrode boiler works normally, and the air is isolated from contacting with the medium water through the sealing ring 2-3. When the electrode boiler works abnormally, the pressure of the medium water fluctuates to push the breather valve 2 to exceed the overflow water pipe 1-2 and to be in contact with the alarm switch 3, and the alarm switch 3 is conducted to send out an electric signal alarm. Simultaneously, medium water flows out from the overflow water pipe 1-2.
Furthermore, the limiting plates 1-3 are carbon steel limiting plates, the upper side of the breather valve 2 is fixedly provided with magnets 2-4, and the magnets 2-4 are generally permanent magnets. When the electrode boiler works abnormally, the pressure of the medium water fluctuates, when the breather valve 2 is pushed to exceed the overflow water pipe 1-2, the breather valve 2 is contacted with the alarm switch 3, the alarm switch 3 is conducted to send out an electric signal alarm, the magnet 2-4 attracts the carbon steel limiting plate, the fixed breather valve 2 does not descend any more, and the medium water flows out of the overflow water pipe 1-2.
