Same-groove multiple-connection type knife switch connector
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an electrical connector, and more particularly, to a blade connector with a plurality of slots, which has a good conductive effect and a reduced volume.
Background
When various electronic devices need to connect various circuits such as power supply or signal, a male end connector and a female end connector are usually fixed at two ends of an electric wire respectively, and then the male end connector and the female end connector are quickly plugged to form an electrical connection, a known knife switch connector mainly utilizes a knife switch in a blade form to match with an elastic sheet to form a combination, the combination has the characteristics of high structural strength and high conductive area, and has the advantage of being inserted in an acute angle range, but in order to achieve the purpose, when the knife switch of the male end connector is inserted into the female end connector, the terminals of the elastic sheet are utilized to form butt joint, so that the elastic sheet can provide enough clamping force, however, the female end connector needs to be provided with a larger space for accommodating the terminals of the elastic sheet, and is provided with a plurality of partition plates for separating the terminals, so that the volume of the female end connector cannot be further reduced, that is, the conventional knife-blade connector has a disadvantage of an excessive volume and cannot meet the requirement of miniaturization of the current industry, so that when the signal source is connected by the knife-blade method, the increased structural volume cannot meet the requirement of the customer, or when the signal pin is connected by the knife-blade connector, because the knife-blade connector can be inserted in a proper acute angle range, the risk of not being reliably inserted into the standard fixed position is increased, the signal pin cannot be reliably electrically connected, and the above-mentioned disadvantage is a technical problem to be improved by the present invention.
In view of the above, the present inventors have made various experiments on the manufacturing, development and design of related products for many years, and have made detailed design and careful evaluation to achieve the above objectives, and finally have obtained a practical invention.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention provides a same-slot multiple-connection type knife connector, which aims to solve the above-mentioned disadvantages in the prior art, and comprises:
a male connector with a base body having a plurality of first blades and a plurality of second blades, wherein the blades of the first blades and the second blades are aligned in a same plane, a female connector with a connector having a square shape with a first side and a second side opposite to each other and a third side and a fourth side opposite to each other, a plurality of blade slots passing through the connector, a first fixing groove formed on the inner wall of the blade slot adjacent to the first side, a second fixing groove formed on the inner wall of the blade slot adjacent to the second side, the first fixing groove and the second fixing groove partially overlapped without contacting each other, a side wing extending from both sides of a plurality of first terminals, the first terminals having the side wings inserted into the first fixing grooves of the blade slots, the first terminal is provided with a contact spring plate in a bent mode, the front face of the contact spring plate faces the second side edge, lateral wing portions extend from two sides of a plurality of second terminals, the second terminals are arranged at the second fixing grooves of the switch blade slot in a penetrating mode through the lateral wing portions, the second terminals are provided with contact spring plates in an elastic bent mode, the front faces of the contact spring plates face the first side edge, the contact spring plates and the contact spring plates are arranged in a non-overlapping reverse mode, the male end connecting piece is connected with the female end connecting piece in an inserting mode, every two pairs of paired first switch blades and two paired second switch blades are inserted into the same switch blade slot, the first switch blades are electrically connected with the contact spring plates of the first terminals, and the second switch blades are electrically connected with the contact spring plates of the second terminals.

The seat body is further provided with three third knife switches in a penetrating manner, and the third knife switches are positioned at two outer sides and the center of the seat body, so that the first knife switch and the second knife switch are spaced between the third knife switches.
The connector is provided with three insertion grooves, a third terminal is arranged in each insertion groove, the third terminals are provided with two plate sheets in parallel, an elastic sheet is bent inwards towards the two plate sheets, a connecting part is formed between each plate sheet and the elastic sheet, the third knife switch is inserted into the insertion grooves, and the connecting part is adjacent to the insertion position of the third knife switch.
The female end connector is provided with a locking seat at one end of the connector, the locking seat is provided with an accommodating chamber, the accommodating chamber is communicated with the knife slot and the inserting groove, the first terminal, the second terminal and the third terminal are all provided with a pin, and the pin penetrates out of the female end connector from the accommodating chamber.
The pin connector further comprises a cover plate, a plurality of cutting grooves are formed in the periphery of the cover plate, the cover plate is installed in the containing chamber, and the cutting grooves are used for allowing the pins to penetrate through.
Wherein the third side of the connector is provided with a plurality of side openings, and the side openings are respectively communicated with the knife slot and the inserting groove.
The first terminal is reversely bent at the edge adjacent to the switch blade slot to form a pair of folding parts, the planes of the folding parts are tightly attached to the first terminal to form a double-layer structure, the folding parts are used for connecting the abutting elastic sheets, the second terminal is reversely bent at the edge adjacent to the switch blade slot to form a reverse folding part, the planes of the reverse folding parts are tightly attached to the second terminal to form a double-layer structure, and the reverse folding parts are used for connecting the contact elastic sheets.
The length of the first switch blade protruding into the seat body is longer than that of the second switch blade protruding into the seat body, and the first terminal is assembled at the position of the connector, which is closer to the opening of the switch blade slot than the second terminal.

The first main objective of the present invention is that the male connector is a plate-shaped first blade and a plate-shaped second blade, and the female connector is provided with a first terminal and a second terminal disposed on a single surface in a matching manner, so as to effectively reduce the width of the connector on the third side and the fourth side, and the first terminal and the second terminal are assembled in a pair in the same blade slot, so that the side wing and the side wing can be partially overlapped without contact, and the contact spring are disposed in opposite directions without overlapping with each other, so as to effectively reduce the width of the connector on the first side and the second side on the premise of firmly installing the first terminal and the second terminal, thereby achieving a good conductive effect and a reduced volume of the structure.
The second main objective of the present invention is to provide the folded portion of the first terminal and the folded portion of the second terminal with the effect of improving the overall structural strength, and maintain sufficient conductive capability, so that the first terminal and the second terminal have the function of connecting to a power source, i.e. when in actual application, the first switch blade and the second switch blade can be selectively used for connecting to a power source or a signal source, thereby effectively improving the practicability thereof.
The third main objective of the present invention is to provide a male connector, wherein the first blade and the second blade of the male connector can be selectively inserted into the blade slot at an angle within an acute angle range, the length of the first blade protruding from the base is longer than the length of the second blade protruding from the base, and the first terminal is assembled at the position of the connector closer to the opening of the blade slot than the second terminal.

Detailed Description
To further understand and appreciate the objects, features and functions of the present invention, reference is made to the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
referring to fig. 1 to fig. 4 in succession, a blade connector of the same slot multiple connection type includes: a male connector 10, a female connector 20, a sealing sleeve 30, a plurality of first terminals 40 and a plurality of second terminals 50, wherein a base 11 of the male connector 10 is provided with a plurality of first blades 12 and a plurality of second blades 13, the first blades 12 and the second blades 13 are paired to form blade faces aligned on the same plane, the base 11 is further provided with three third blades 14, the third blades 14 are located at two outer sides and the center of the base 11, the first blades 12 and the second blades 13 are spaced between the third blades 14, the female connector 20 is provided with a connector 21, the connector 21 is square to form a first side 211 and a second side 212 opposite to each other, a third side 213 and a fourth side 214 opposite to each other, the connector 21 is provided with a plurality of slots 22, and the blades 22 are provided with a first 221 slot on the inner wall surface adjacent to the first side 211, the knife slot 22 has a second fixing slot 222 on the inner wall surface adjacent to the second side 212, the first fixing slot 221 and the second fixing slot 222 overlap each other in a partially non-contact manner, the connector 21 has three insertion slots 23, and the insertion slots 23 are all provided with a third terminal 60, the third terminal 60 has two parallel plates 61, two plates 61 are inwardly bent toward each other to form an elastic sheet 62, a connecting portion 63 is formed between the plate 61 and the elastic sheet 62, the third knife 14 is inserted into the insertion slot 23, the connecting portion 63 is adjacent to the insertion position of the third knife 14, a sealing sleeve 30 has a plurality of first through holes 31, a plurality of three-way holes 32 and a plurality of second through holes 35, the first knife 12 and the second knife 13 are respectively inserted into the first through holes 31 and the second through holes 35, and the third knife 14 is inserted into the through holes 32, the sealing sleeve 30 is abutted against the seat 11, a retaining ring 33 is protruded from the periphery of the sealing sleeve 30, and when the male-end connector 10 is connected to the female-end connector 20, the retaining ring 33 is sleeved on the connector 21 to have airtight and waterproof effects, i.e. the retaining ring 33 is sleeved on the first side 211, the second side 212, the third side 213 and the fourth side 214, the sealing sleeve 30 is provided with a protruding block 34 protruded from the peripheries of the first through hole 31 and the second through hole 35, the protruding block 34 is inserted into the knife slot 22 to form a guiding and positioning effect, a plurality of first terminals 40 are extended with a side wing portion 41 from both sides, the first terminals 40 are all inserted into the first fixing groove 221 of the knife slot 22 with the side wing portion 41, the first terminals 40 are bent to be provided with a contact spring 42, and the contact spring 42 faces the second side 212, a lateral wing 51 extends from both sides of the plurality of second terminals 50, the second terminals 50 are disposed at the second fixing groove 222 of the blade insertion slot 22 with the lateral wing 51, the second terminals 50 are elastically bent to form a contact spring 52, and the front surface of the contact spring 52 faces the first side 211, the contact spring 42 and the contact spring 52 are disposed in opposite directions without overlapping each other, and the male connector 10 is inserted into the female connector 20, so that two pairs of the first blade 12 and the second blade 13 are inserted into the same blade slot 22, and the first blade 12 is electrically connected to the contact spring 42 of the first terminal 40, the second blade 13 is electrically connected to the contact spring 52 of the second terminal 50, and as described further, the front faces of the abutting elastic sheet 42 and the contact elastic sheet 52 are surfaces for contacting the first blade 12 and the second blade 13.
Referring to fig. 1 to fig. 4, the female connector 20 has a locking seat 24 formed at one end of the connector 21, the locking seat 24 has an accommodating chamber 241, the accommodating chamber 241 is communicated with the knife slot 22 and the inserting slot 23, the first terminal 40, the second terminal 50 and the third terminal 60 all have a pin 43, 53, 64, the pin 43, 53, 64 all penetrate the female connector 20 from the accommodating chamber 241, a cover plate 70 has a plurality of slots 71 formed on its periphery, the cover plate 70 is installed in the accommodating chamber 241, the slots 71 provide the pins 43, 53, 64, and a retaining wall 72 is protruded from the outer edge of the cover plate 70 in a ring shape, and the retaining wall 72 forms a blocking effect of the cover plate 70 during the molding process.
Continuing from fig. 2 to fig. 6, the first terminal 40 is reversely bent at the edge adjacent to the blade slot 22 to form a pair of folded portions 44, the folded portion 44 is flatly adhered to the first terminal 40 to form a double-layer structure, the folded portion 44 is used to connect the abutting elastic sheet 42, the second terminal 50 is reversely bent at the edge adjacent to the blade slot 22 to form a folded portion 54, the folded portion 54 is flatly adhered to the second terminal 50 to form a double-layer structure, and the folded portion 54 is used to connect the contact elastic sheet 52, to sum up, the folded portion 44 and the folded portion 54 both have the effect of improving the strength of the whole structure, and can maintain sufficient conductive ability, so that the first terminal 40 and the second terminal 50 both have the function of connecting power, i.e. in practical application, the first blade 12, the second blade 13 and the third blade 14 can all be selected to connect power or signal source, thereby effectively improving the practicability.
As shown in fig. 2 to fig. 6, one surface of the locking seat 24 facing the connector 21 is provided with a plurality of screw holes 242, the locking seat 24 is provided with two stop blocks 243 protruding from the periphery of the screw holes 242, the locking seat 24 abuts against a gasket 25, the gasket 25 is provided with a plurality of evasion holes 251, the evasion holes 251 of the gasket 25 are sleeved on the outer edges of the stop blocks 243 to limit the gasket 25 away from the screw holes 242, similarly, the seat body 11 is provided with a plurality of locking holes 111 in a penetrating manner, the periphery of the locking hole 111 is provided with two positioning blocks 112 protruding, the seat body 11 abuts against a gasket 15, the gasket 15 is provided with a plurality of strip-shaped holes 151, the strip-shaped holes 151 of the gasket 15 are sleeved on the outer edges of the positioning blocks 112 to limit the gasket 15 away from the locking hole 111, to summarize, when the male-end connector 10 is locked with the locking hole 111, the positioning blocks between the gasket 111 and the gasket 15 through the positioning blocks 112, the locking operation will not cause the washer 15 to be affected and distorted, and when the female connector 20 is locked by the screw lock, the stop block 243 is blocked between the screw hole 242 and the gasket 25, so that the locking operation will not cause the gasket 25 to be affected and distorted, thereby maintaining good locking quality.
The main function of the present invention is that, as shown in fig. 2, 3 and 11, two pairs of knife faces formed by the first knife 12 and the second knife 13 of the male connector 10 are aligned in the same plane, the first fixing groove 221 is formed on the inner wall surface of the knife slot 22 of the female connector 20 adjacent to the first side 211, the second fixing groove 222 is formed on the inner wall surface of the knife slot 22 adjacent to the second side 212, the first fixing groove 221 and the second fixing groove 222 are partially overlapped without contact, the first terminal 40 is inserted into the first fixing groove 221, the front surface of the abutting elastic sheet 42 faces the second side 212, the second terminal 50 is inserted into the second fixing groove 222, the front surface of the contact elastic sheet 52 faces the first side 211, the abutting elastic sheet 42 and the contact elastic sheet 52 are arranged in opposite directions without overlapping, and two pairs of the first knife 12 and the second knife 13 are inserted into the same knife slot 22, namely, the cross-sectional area of the connector 21 can be effectively reduced under the same number of the first terminal 40 and the second terminal 50, and further, the male connector 10 is formed by the first blade 12 and the second blade 13, and the female connector 20 is provided with the first terminal 40 and the second terminal 50, which are disposed on a single surface, in a matching manner, so as to effectively reduce the width of the connector 21 on the third side 213 and the fourth side 214, and the first terminal 40 and the second terminal 50 are mounted in the same blade slot 22 in pairs, so that the side wing 41 and the side wing 51 can be partially overlapped without contact, and the abutting elastic sheet 42 and the contact elastic sheet 52 are disposed in opposite directions without overlapping, so as to effectively reduce the width of the connector 21 on the first side 211 and the second side 212 on the premise of firmly mounting the first terminal 40 and the second terminal 50, so as to have the effects of good conductive effect and structure volume reduction.
In practical use, as shown in fig. 7 to fig. 12, and further shown in fig. 2 and 3, the first blade 12 and the second blade 13 of the male connector 10 can be selectively inserted into the blade slot 22 at an acute angle, so as to be suitable for different environmental spaces and different force application angles, the length of the first blade 12 protruding from the base 11 is longer than the length of the second blade 13 protruding from the base 11, and the first terminal 40 is assembled at the position of the connector 21 closer to the opening of the blade slot 22 than the second terminal 50, so that when the first blade 12 and the second blade 13 are initially inserted into the blade slot 22 at different angles, a front-back difference between the first blade 12 and the second blade 13 and a front-back difference between the first terminal 40 and the second terminal 50 are prevented, so as to prevent the first blade 12 or the second blade 13 from being short due to simultaneously contacting the first terminal 40 or the second terminal 50 The road condition is adopted to improve the use safety of the road.
In another embodiment of the present invention, referring to fig. 13 and 14, a plurality of side openings 215 are formed on the third side 213 of the connecting head 21, and the side openings 215 are respectively communicated with the knife slot 22 and the inserting slot 23, thereby expanding the range of the inserting angle of the male end connector 10 to the female end connector 20.
