Abstract
The invention relates to a respirator, which is composed of a base mask body that is held in place by elastic fastening strips and in which a filter material, preferably of the FFP3 quality class, is fitted in an air-tight manner on the surrounding face, and which has a surrounding seal that surrounds the outer edge of the base mask body and thus ensures a 100% sealing of the base mask body against the surface of the facial skin, in particular in the region of the nose and at the chin.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a respiratory protection mask, in particular for preventing the transmission of spray, which covers the mouth and in particular the nose area and ensures: by means of a corresponding seal between the facial skin and the underlying mask body, the air to be inhaled passes only through the filter material into the nose and mouth and into the lungs, if the instructions for use are followed 100% when the breathing protective mask is worn.
Background
A very large number of respiratory protection masks of the type in question which are present on the market do not meet the necessary protection against droplet infections, since the breathing air reaches the lungs not only through the filter material/protection mask filter, but in particular the possibility arises that external air in the region of the nose may reach the nose and mouth and thus the lungs unfiltered.
Most of these masks are unsuitable or at least uncomfortable, especially for the spectacle wearer, since exhaled air also escapes in the region of the nose and thus atomizes the spectacles.
Other masks that ensure a 100% seal are very laborious to wear or produce and therefore very expensive, making these masks not quickly and adequately available for use by people, for example, in infected areas and in infectious diseases/pandemics.
Disclosure of Invention
The aim of the invention is to provide a protective mask, wherein the FFP3 quality level is ensuredA 100% protection of the mask, which on the one hand is inexpensive to produce and on the other hand in the case of infectious diseases/pandemics can produce millions of real filter material in the shortest time if one has obtained a breathing mask in the past, so that in the event of an incident at least the basic mask body is available for people and only a rapidly producible filter material has to be purchased, if the filter material is not yet present.
In order to also protect the mucous membranes of the eyes of a person who must have close contact with the patient, the protective mask and the corresponding goggles can be combined in such a way that neither external air nor breathing air can reach into the goggles in the region of the nose and under the eyes and thus fogging of the glasses is avoided.
The task is solved by the following means:
1. providing a basic mask body:
a. the base mask body ensures a 100% seal against droplet infection of the facial skin relative to the base mask body, particularly in the nose and chin regions.
b. The base mask body can be composed of a plurality of textile layers, for example also of a specific microscopic material lattice layer, for example composed of a wire material in which the wire diameter is 0.02mm or less, and of a gas-impermeable layer.
c. The basic mask body has the property that it can be adapted by manual deformation, in particular in the nose region, to the corresponding face shape in such a way that by this measure an almost 100% sealing of the basic mask body against the facial skin is already achieved.
d. In the basic mask body, a special sealing portion, which is preferably made of silicone, surrounds the outer edge of the basic mask body, which ensures 100% sealing of the basic mask body with respect to the respective face shape, and can also be combined with a visor in the region of the nose in such a way that the visor also hermetically seals the nose part and the part below the eye region.
e. The base mask body also has a circular circumferential material surface, preferably made of stainless steel, with a central web in the area around the nose and mouth, which serves to accommodate the actual filter material in a gas-tight manner.
f. The connection of the base mask body to the circular circumferential material surface with the intermediate web for receiving the filter material is sealed in such a way that no air can reach the lungs unfiltered here too.
g. The filter material which can be fastened in an air-tight manner to the circularly encircling material side with the intermediate tab can be easily replaced by a new filter material manually after use of the mask.
h. The underlying mask body may be decontaminated after each use in the contaminated area, for example by spraying with a disinfecting solution, and is ready for repeated reuse.
i. The basic mask body is held in position by means of at least two elastic bands in front of the mouth and on the nose in such a way that the basic mask body does not slip off, even if the person wearing the basic mask body has to speak for a longer time. For this reason, in the area of the chin, the circumferential seal is designed in such a way that during speech movements through the chin no untightness is formed and unfiltered air does not reach the lungs.
2. The FFP3 quality class of filter materials is provided, which are intended for single use and have a circumferential outer region and an intermediate region, which is wetted, for example, with a contact adhesive, which has the property that the filter material is affixed to the circular circumferential material side of the base mask body having the intermediate tab in such a way that an air-tight connection to the circumferential side of the base mask body is produced and can be released again from the circular circumferential material side having the intermediate tab in a relatively simple manner for replacement with a new filter material without residues of adhesive remaining on the side.
3. The solution of the task with separate parts of the basic mask body and the filter material takes into account: the presence of a primary base mask ensures that the seal against the skin of the face is also maintained when the base mask body is not used for a longer period of time and that the filter material FFP3 can be produced in very large numbers in a very short period of time in the presence of an infection/pandemic.
4. In particular, doctors and medical assistants should
There is always a "self-contained" base mask and replaceable FFP3 filter material and adaptable eyewear that matches the base mask body to ensure protection to the person in question when protective measures are taken.
Drawings
Fig. 1 shows a respiratory protection mask which is composed of a base mask body which is held in place by means of elastic fastening strips and in which a protective mask is fitted in an airtight manner on a surrounding face, and which has a surrounding seal which surrounds the outer edge of the base mask body and thus ensures a 100% seal of the base mask body against the surface of the facial skin, in particular in the region of the nose and at the chin.
Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a basic mask body 1 which covers parts of the face in the region of the mouth and nose and is held in an optimal position by a number of straps 6, 7 preferably made of elastic material; the straps 6, 7 are fixed to the base mask body 1 by means of the strap fastening 5 in such a way that they can be replaced after a certain service life without problems if necessary. The base mask body 1 is made of a material which is also slightly flexible and can be deformed manually in such a way that it can be adapted to each facial shape, but at the same time is sufficiently rigid to retain the desired shape once it has appeared for a long time (if no external force effects occur afterwards).
The circular circumferential material surface with the intermediate web 2, which is preferably made of rust-resistant, polished steel or another suitable material, is used to connect the filter material 8 in a gas-tight manner to the surface of the circular circumferential material surface, which is connected in a gas-tight manner to the base mask body 1, and to hold and stabilize the filter material 8 at a sufficient distance from the mouth by the intermediate web 2.1 present.
The seal 4 is designed in such a way that it surrounds the base mask body 1 and has a long sealing lip, not shown, in the interior of the base mask body 1, which comes into contact with the base mask body 1 in all regions of the face in the region of the seal. This applies in particular to critical seals in the face region 3, where the nose transitions into the other face regions and the seal 4 in the chin region 4.1 has a shape adapted to the face shape at this point, where the seal also assumes the task of reliably sealing the chin region and allowing movement of the chin when the mask wearer has to speak. The sealing course of the sealing part 4 in the region of the nose and below the eye region 4.2 can be matched in a gas-tight manner to a protective goggles, not shown, which protect the mucous membranes of the eyes from droplet infections in this region.
The filter material 8 is composed of a plurality of layers and reaches the FFP3 quality rating. At this quality level of the filter material, it is ensured that so-called droplet infections are prevented, since one of the filter layers is coated with nano-silver. In conjunction with the circularly encircling material side 2 with the central web 2.1 on the base mask body 1, there is a tacky adhesive on the protective mask 8, which ensures that the protective mask 8 adheres to the circularly encircling material side 2 with the central web 2.1 in a 100% air-tight manner and also that no adhesive residues remain after repeated peeling-off of the filter material 8 from the circularly encircling material side 2 with the central web 2.1.
