Background
The water filter element for treating radioactive water is mainly used for removing corrosion products and suspended solid particles existing in water in a colloid form in a primary loop and a secondary loop of a nuclear power plant, and is an important spare part for ensuring the stable operation of the nuclear power plant. At present, the filter element of the radioactive water filter for the process water loop of the nuclear power plant is commercialized, and the manufacturers for providing the filter element only comprise a few companies such as Pal company in the United states, 3L company in Canada and the like. Most of radioactive water filter elements used in nuclear power plants which are commercially operated at home are imported products at home and abroad, and imported goods have the problems of high cost, unstable supply period, poor after-sale service and the like, so that the water filter element meeting the filtering and purifying requirements needs to be designed urgently to realize the localization of the water filter element.
The water filter needs good sealing effect between filter core and the casing in the installation, because in the process of handling nuclear power plant's primary loop and secondary loop's process water, process wastewater has certain radioactivity, can cause the corruption to the sealing washer, influences its structure, causes the deformation, influences sealed effect. Therefore, strict requirements are put on the sealing effect and the service life of the sealing ring.

The protective net 5 wraps the outer side of the filter material 6 and is of a rhombic net structure and used for fixing and protecting the filter material 6.
The cross-section of Y type sealing washer 2 is the Y type, including sealing washer main part 21, sealing washer inner lip 22 and sealing washer outer lip 23, and sealing washer inner lip 22 is close to the interior side of upper end cover 3, and sealing washer outer lip 23 is close to the casing side. The Y-shaped sealing ring 2 is made of ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber, the material is excellent in radiation resistance and soaking resistance, and the unique structure and material ensure that the sealing performance between the filter element and the shell meets the use requirement.
Handle 1 includes handle ring 11 and landing leg 12, and handle ring 11 is connected with upper end cover 3 through three landing legs 12, and handle ring 1's surface is coarse, and the friction when the filter core is snatched to arbitrary direction in the gripping instrument that can increase in coarse design snatchs firmly to greatly reduced the automatic degree of difficulty of snatching of filter core, shortened radioactive operation time, make things convenient for the change of filter core more.

In the working process, when water flows into the upper end cover 3 of the filter element, a part of the water flows can impact the Y-shaped sealing ring 2, and at the moment, the outer lip 23 of the Y-shaped sealing ring 2 can be spread, so that the sealing between the upper end cover 3 and the shell is better realized. The Y-shaped sealing ring 2 can still keep enough strength after being deformed, so that a good sealing effect is kept between the filter element and the shell, and pollution caused by outflow of untreated process water is avoided.
By adopting the Y-shaped sealing ring, the problem that the sealing effect is influenced due to corrosion and deformation of radioactive process wastewater of a nuclear power plant to seal is solved; by adopting the modified glass fiber filter material with different filter precisions and the multi-fold structure, the filter precision requirements of various water treatment systems of a nuclear power plant can be met, and a feasible technical route is provided for realizing the localization of the water filter element for treating radioactive water.
