When the display size of each HUD element in the adjustment interface is adjusted, the following operation may be performed, for convenience of explanation, taking the use scenario of the game as an example of the game host, the player may select the HUD element to be adjusted by operating the rocker or the direction key, the selected HUD element may display a selected frame, then adjust the size of the HUD element by the key, and take the example of changing the diagram (b) in fig. 12 to the diagram (c), where the selected HUD element is "task description", the player pushes down the rocker right, or pushes down the right direction key, the selected frame moves from "task description" to "a key" representing the interactive key icon, and then adjusts the size of the icon by "L1" and "R1", for example, in the diagram (c), the display effect after enlarging the display size of the selected "a key" is obtained.
In the adjustment interface, the positions of the HUD elements are fixed, when a player pushes a rocker or presses a direction key, and the selected HUD element is enlarged or reduced according to a preset moving frame, the HUD element close to the edge of the adjustment interface is enlarged or reduced towards the central direction of the adjustment interface by taking the nearest point (corresponding to the specified point) or edge (corresponding to the third specified edge) from the edge as the center; the HUD element near the center of the adjustment interface is enlarged or reduced by taking the original coordinate center (corresponding to the center point) of the HUD element as a reference, and the multiple of enlargement or reduction can be freely adjusted, so that the problem of incomplete display of the HUD element can be avoided as much as possible.
In the above manner, the selected HUD element is highlighted by adopting the selected frame, and as another alternative manner, the color of the selected HUD element can be changed to highlight the HUD element, and the alternative manner does not cause frame interference in the adjustment interface, but may have a certain influence on the perception effect or size judgment of the weak crowd due to the difference between the display color and the actual color after the HUD element is selected.
In addition, the above-described mode is described taking a game host as an example, and as another alternative, the use scenario of the mode may be not limited to the game host and the handle, but may also be a computer, a mouse, and a keyboard. When the HUD element is selected, the user can directly click to select by using a direction key of a keyboard or a mouse; when adjusting the display size of the HUD element, keyboard specific keys may be used, or mouse dragging or scroll wheel scaling may be used.
The display control method can be applied to any HUD element appearing in the game, and the mode can be used for independently customizing the magnification of each HUD element in a proper range corresponding to each HUD element, and as the whole game picture does not need to be magnified, all HUD elements can be completely presented in the game, and a player does not need to move the game picture to view each HUD element; in addition, the mode of independently adjusting the display size of each HUD element can enable a weak-vision player to see information in each HUD element, and the size of each HUD element is proper, so that a game picture is not blocked or the edges of a screen are not overflowed due to oversized HUD elements, and the appearance is not affected.
In addition, because the sizes of the adjusting interface and the graphical user interface are the same, when the display size of the HUD elements is adjusted, a player can directly feel the actual size and the adjusting effect of each HUD element after adjustment in the control adjusting process, so that each HUD element is quickly adjusted to the required proportion of the player; in addition, the HUD element is selected through the rocker or the direction key, and the display size of the HUD element is adjusted through the key, so that the operation is simple and easy to learn, and the learning cost of a player is reduced.
