Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a mold support, and more particularly to an assembly of multiple mold supports to increase the throughput of glove production lines in the glove industry.
Background
Gloves protect our hands from infection and contamination, and therefore it is important to wear gloves when using harmful chemicals and other materials. The use of gloves places demands on the manufacture of the glove industry.
Existing apparatus for manufacturing gloves include multiple mold supports. However, such a device design is vertically arranged, which takes up more space when assembling multiple mould carriages, so that only a smaller number of mould carriages can be assembled on the movable chain, which will affect the overall production of the gloves. Furthermore, the instability of holding multiple mold holders together also significantly affects glove production.
Several solutions exist to increase the output of glove production lines in the glove industry, and a partial solution will be discussed below:
WO2015142155a1 discloses an improved dual mould support assembly for use in the production of products such as medical gloves during high speed latex impregnation. The dual-mold rack assembly consists essentially of a U-shaped bracket attached to two tapered L-shaped arms having an upright plate and a rectangular base plate. The U-shaped bracket has a base, two vertical ends and a pivot rod. Each rectangular base plate of the two tapered L-shaped arms is used to hold at least one mold holder. In the closed position, the upright portions of the tapered L-shaped arms are aligned back-to-back with one another. In the open position, the two L-shaped arms and the mould holder can perform an arc movement of up to 150 °.
MY-168511-A discloses a triple mold support assembly for use in glove manufacturing. The triple die holder assembly consists of a middle link arm sandwiched between two opposing side link arms in a hinged joint mechanism, each link arm having a die holder for carrying a die. The three link arms are mounted on a hinge joint mechanism that includes a C-shaped bracket, a pin, and an R-clamp for the pin. The hinge joint mechanism fixedly arranges the three link arms in position and provides a way to rotate about the pin to accommodate the requirements of the glove manufacturing process. The hinge connecting mechanism is arranged on the conveying chain through a connecting shaft. Bearings on each connecting shaft facilitate movement of the conveyor belt along the glove production line.
Accordingly, it can be seen from the prior art that there is a need for an improved mold support assembly to increase the throughput of glove manufacturing lines in the glove manufacturing industry.
Disclosure of Invention
An object of the present invention is to provide a multiple mold support to improve productivity.
The invention aims to flexibly place three or two mould supports according to production requirements.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a stable production line with a safely fixed mould carriage.
In addition, it is an object of the present invention to provide a space-saving mold carrier assembly in which mold carriers are arranged in a triangular shape to fix more mold carriers and to increase the number of mold carriers on a single line.
It is another object of the present invention to retrofit the current dual mold line to a three mold line which will result in our throughput being 50% higher than the existing dual mold production.
Furthermore, it is another object of the present invention to provide a cost effective mold carrier assembly whereby more mold carriers can be used in a smaller area, which will ensure maximum utility, energy and labor, with an operating cost reduced by 33.3% compared to current high speed dual mold production lines.
Accordingly, these objects can be achieved by following the teachings of the present invention. The present invention relates to a mold carrier assembly comprising a plurality of mold carriers received by and adjacently arranged about pins rotatable about said pins, a first mold carrier of said plurality of mold carriers having an L-shaped arm and a second mold carrier of said plurality of mold carriers having an elongated L-shaped arm, characterized in that a third mold carrier of said multiple mold carrier has a straight arm with a protruding arm, wherein said protruding arm is located between the first and second mold carriers to increase the capacity of a glove machine, wherein said pins are received by shafts connected to a movable chain of said glove machine.

The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 illustrates a mold carrier assembly (100) according to an embodiment of the present invention.
The invention relates to a mold rack assembly (100) comprising a plurality of mold racks (101, 102, 103) received by pins (104) and arranged adjacently, which are rotatable around the pins (104), a first mold rack (101) of the plurality of mold rack assemblies having an L-shaped arm (105), a second mold rack (102) of the plurality of mold rack assemblies having an elongated L-shaped arm (106), characterized in that a third mold rack (103) of the plurality of mold rack assemblies has a straight arm (107), which straight arm (107) has a protruding arm (108), wherein the protruding arm (108) is located between the first mold rack (101) and the second mold rack (102) to increase the capacity of the glove machine, wherein the pins (104) are received by shafts (109) connected to a movable chain (110) of the glove machine.
According to an embodiment of the invention, the mould holders are arranged triangularly, so that more mould holders can be fixed in a smaller area. Thus, this arrangement provides a high density of mold carriers.
According to an embodiment of the invention, the protruding arm (108) comprises a trapezoidal shape to increase the distance between the moulds supported by the plurality of mould holders (101, 102, 103). The distance ensures that the moulds do not touch each other during production, thereby avoiding the formation of holes due to the moulds colliding with each other.
According to an embodiment of the invention, projecting arms (108) are cut on both sides of the distal end to be placed between the L-shaped arms (105) of the first mould holder (101) and the elongated L-shaped arms (106) of the second mould holder (102) in a complementary manner.
According to an embodiment of the invention, the protruding arm (108) is firmly fixed at the L-shaped arm (105) of the first mould holder (101) and the extended L-shaped arm (106) of the second mould holder (102), which provides stability during operation of the moving chain (110).
Fig. 2 shows a third mould holder (103) according to an embodiment of the invention.
According to an embodiment of the invention, a plate (111) is located at the end of the protruding arm (108) to hold the first and second mould holders (101, 102) together.
According to an embodiment of the invention, a plate (111) firmly secures the third mold support (103) in the mold support assembly (100).
According to an embodiment of the invention, the pin (104) comprises a plurality of R-shaped pins (112a, 112 b). Fig. 3 illustrates the mold carrier assembly (100) with R-shaped pins (112a, 112b) according to an embodiment of the present invention.
According to an embodiment of the invention, each mould holder (101, 102, 103) comprises an R-shaped pin (112a, 112b) for locking the position of the mould holder (101, 102, 103). The first R-shaped pin (112a) allows the apparatus to operate with two mold holders and the second R-shaped pin (112b) allows the apparatus to operate with three mold holders.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the R-shaped pins (112a, 112b) further provide stability to the mold stand assembly (100) that securely holds the mold stand without disengaging the pins (104). Furthermore, the R-shaped pins (112a, 112b) allow the manufacturer to operate only with two or three mold holders, depending on the production needs.
Fig. 4 shows a mold rack assembly (100) on a production line according to an embodiment of the present invention.
According to an embodiment of the invention, the third mould carriages (103) are arranged on the middle line of the movable chain (110), which creates more space for the whole mould carriage assembly in the production line.
Various modifications to these embodiments will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art from the description and drawings. The principles associated with the various embodiments described herein may be applied to other embodiments. Thus, the present description is not intended to be limited to the embodiments shown with the drawings, but is to be accorded the widest scope consistent with the principles and novel and inventive features disclosed or suggested herein. Accordingly, all other such alternatives, modifications and variations are intended to fall within the scope of the present invention and the appended claims.
