Abstract

The lac has hydrophilic and hydrophobic parts simultaneously, has a large amount of functional groups such as hydroxyl, carboxyl and the like simultaneously, can serve as a bridging effect between toner and wax, has ionizable carboxyl, has certain polyelectrolyte polymer properties, can provide double-electron-layer stabilization and steric hindrance effects simultaneously, has strong dispersion in a system, and thus plays a role in preventing wax from being separated from a coloring agent.
But the lac is very unstable due to a large number of functional groups, and the product is layered in long-term storage tests. In this regard, the inventors further found through experiments that the addition of the polyethylene glycol wax on the basis of the above results in the improvement of the overall stability of the product, and the effect of the polyethylene glycol wax is considered by the inventors to be mainly due to the stabilizing effect of the polyethylene glycol wax on the shellac.

The preparation method comprises the following steps:
