The line cutting principle of the semicircular knife is as follows: as shown in fig. 6, when the paperboard is located between the cutting line pressing roller 2 and the semicircular knife (the linear speed of the two is the same), the partial arc blade of the semicircular knife starts to roll into the paperboard, and as the paperboard is conveyed forward, the front angle of the paperboard starts to cut a line until the blade end of the semicircular knife leaves the paperboard, and because the left side of the blade end of the semicircular knife is a notch and cannot cut into the paperboard, no cutting line error occurs on the paperboard, and the length of the partial arc blade of the semicircular knife is the distance of the cutting line; the notch of the semicircular knife is always opposite to the paper board along with the rotation of the semicircular knife, so that the semicircular knife does not cut a line any more; the paperboard is rolled into the other end of the cutting edge of the semicircular cutter along with the continuous rotation of the semicircular cutter, a line is cut at the rear angle of the paperboard along with the forward conveying of the paperboard, the line cutting error does not occur on the paperboard due to the fact that the right side of the end of the cutting edge of the semicircular cutter is a notch, and the circular arc cutting edge at the end of the semicircular cutter can cut the paperboard to the bottom. Therefore, when the cutting edge length of the semicircular cutter and the conveying line speed of the cutting line pressing roller are both determined (the conveying line speed of the cutting line pressing roller is the same as the moving speed of the paperboard), the cutting line distance can be controlled by controlling the rotating speed of the semicircular cutter (controlled by a motion controller). If the control is accurate, the line cutting mode can enable the line cutting distance to reach zero error, thereby obviously improving the quality of the paperboard line cutting.
As described in the background, transverse cutting of the cardboard requires longitudinal cutting, which is generally done on another cutting machine, which is obviously costly and inefficient.
