Abstract

A fastener-extracting tool and fastener-ejecting device combination comprising: a torque tool body, a threaded opening, a plurality of engagement features, and an extraction bolt. A plurality of engagement features are distributed about a rotational axis of the torque tool body and are capable of biting into the sides of the wear fastener head. A plurality of engagement features are attached about a base of the torque tool body and form a socket-like configuration for removing worn fasteners. A threaded opening passes through the base portion to allow the draw bolt to be threaded into the threaded opening from a direction relative to the plurality of engagement features. When the worn fastener is jammed within the plurality of engagement features, the ejector bolt may be threaded into the space between the plurality of engagement features and eject the worn fastener from the torque tool body.
