背景技术
一般认为,人体的臭味部分由微生物与产生刺激性脂肪酸的汗腺分泌的相互作用所引起。除了清洗之外,控制臭味的一种方法是将防汗剂或除臭组合物局部施用于腋下。

发明内容

优选的除臭活性组分是抗微生物剂,其非限定的例子包括溴化十六烷基一三甲基铵、氯化十六烷基吡啶鎓、氯苄乙铵、氯化二异丁基苯氧基乙氧基乙基二甲基苄基铵、N十二烷基肌氨酸钠、N-十六烷基肌氨酸钠、十二酰基肌氨酸、N-十四酰基甘氨酸、N-十二烷基肌氨酸钾、氯化三甲基铵、氯化羟基乳酸钠铝、柠檬酸三乙酯、氯化三(十六烷基)甲基铵、三氯森(triclosan)、三氯二苯脲(triclocarban)、二氨基烷基酰胺(例如L-赖氨酸十六烷基酰胺)、柠檬酸、水杨酸和羟甲辛吡糖(piroctose)的重金属盐,特别是锌盐,及其酸,巯氧吡啶的重金属盐,特别是巯氧吡啶锌、苯酚硫酸锌、金合欢醇、和其组合。
优选的除臭活性组分是三氯森、三氯二苯脲及其组合,其中三氯森或三氯二苯脲的优选浓度是所述组合物重量的约0.01%-约1.0%,更优选约0.1%-约0.5%,最优选约0.1%-0.3%,并在组合物中一起使用时,三氯森与三氯二苯脲的总浓度是所述组合物重量的约0.01-约2.0%,更优选约0.2%-约1.0%,最优选约0.2%-约0.6%。已经发现这两种除臭活性组分的组合得到的除臭效率超过由这一组合用另一种方法预计的累积除臭效率。
三氯森和三氯二苯脲的优选组合对提高该除臭组合物的除臭性能或者对提高任何已知的除臭剂或含有适合于人皮肤局部用的一种组合物的除臭性能均是有效的。因此,本发明还涉及控制由人出汗引起恶臭的方法,包括将上述的三氯森/三氯二苯脲的组合或含有这种组合的任何其他合适的组合物局部施用于腋下或皮肤的其他区域。含有上述组合物的大多数除臭组合物的施用量为每个腋部约0.1g-约2.0g,优选每天一次或两次,更优选每天一次。
其他除臭活性组分包括吸收臭味的物质,例如碳酸盐和碳酸氢盐,包括碱金属碳酸盐和碳酸氢盐、铵盐和四烷基铵盐。优选的是所述吸臭味物质的钠盐和钾盐。
无水凝胶除臭组合物优选的是基本上不含有收敛性的防汗剂活性组分,例如铝或锆收敛剂盐或配合物。在本说明书中,术语“基本上不含有”的意思是该凝胶除臭组合物优选含有小于约5%,更优选小于约2%,最优选0%(重量)的所述收敛性防汗剂活性组分。
b)香料
适合在无水凝胶除臭组合物中使用的香料包括对掩盖与出汗有关的恶臭已知的或有效的任何局部施用的物质,或者其成分中含有可产生所需香味的香料的任何局部用的物质。这些香料包括适合局部皮肤用的任何香料或香料化学品。
香料在无水凝胶除臭组合物中的浓度应当对提供所需香味的特性或对掩盖恶臭是有效的,其中臭味本来与该组合物本身有关或与人出汗产生恶臭有关。另外,香料和无论什么载体同时存在,不应将严重的刺激传给皮肤,特别是在前面公开的浓度下不破坏或刺激皮肤。香料一般是溶于无水凝胶除臭组合物而不溶于水的香精形式。
香料由本技术领域技术熟练的人员制成多种香料类型和浓度。一般的香料在Arctunder,Perfume and Flavour Chemicals(Aroma Chemicals),Vol.I andII(1969);和Arctander,Perfume and Flavour Mattrials of Natural Origin(1960)中有说明。这里引用的美国专利4,322,308和4,304,679公开了香料组分,一般包括但是不限于挥发性酚类物质(例如水杨酸异戊酯、水杨酸苄酯,和万里香油红);香精油(例如香叶油、绿叶油,和橙叶油);柑桔油;萃取物和树脂(例如苯偶姻Siam香树脂和红没药香树脂);“合成”油(例如Bergamot 37和430,Geranium 76和Pomeransol 314);醛和酮(B-甲基萘基酮、对-叔丁基-A-甲基氢化肉桂醛,和对-叔戊基环己酮);多环化合物(例如香豆素和β-萘基甲基醚);酯(例如邻苯二甲酸二乙酯、苯乙酸苯乙酯、non-anolide-1:4)。香料还包括由花制物质和水果衍生的酯类和香精油、柑桔油、净油、醛、香树脂、麝香和其他动物香料香韵(例如灵猫的天然离析物、河狸香,和麝香)、香脂,等,和醇(例如dimgrcetol、苯乙醇和tetra-muguol)。在这里,香料中使用的组分的例子包括癸醛、十一醛、十一烯醛、月桂醛、戊基肉桂醛、缩水甘油酸乙基甲基苯基酯、甲基壬醛、肉豆蔻醛、壬内酯、壬醛、辛醛、十一内酯、己基肉桂醛、苯甲醛、香草醛、胡椒醛、樟脑、对羟基苯酚丁酮、6-乙酰基-1,1,3,4,4,6-六甲基四氢萘、α-甲基紫香酮、γ-甲基紫香酮,和甲基环己酮和这些组分的混合物。
其他合适的香料是掩盖或有助于掩盖与出汗有关的臭味的香料(在下文称为掩盖臭味的香料),它们的一些非限定的例子在美国专利5,554,588,4,278,658,5,501,8和欧洲专利申请684037A1中说明,所有这些文献均在此全面引用。优选的掩盖臭味的香料是除臭值至少约0.25,优选约0.25-约3.5,更优选约0.9约3.5,按照欧洲专利申请684037A1中描述的除臭值试验方法测定。
在这里使用的香料也可以含有本技术领域中熟知的增溶剂、稀释剂或溶剂。所述物质在Arctandtr,Perfume and Flavour Chemicals(Aro-ma Chemicals),Vol.I和II(1969)中说明。这些物质一般包括二丙二醇、二甘醇、C1-C6醇和苄醇。
胶凝剂
本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物含有一种适于使所述组合物具有需要的硬度和施用特性的胶凝剂。胶凝剂浓度是无水凝胶除臭组合物重量的约0.01%-约20%,优选约0.1%-约10%,更优选约1%-约80%,最优选约3%-约7%。
任何已知的胶凝剂或胶凝剂体系均可用于本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物中,条件是在加工温度约50℃-约150℃,优选约50℃-约120℃,更优选约60℃-约100℃下,选择的胶凝剂可熔化,并与在这里所说的选择的溶剂体系形成溶液或其他均匀液体或液体分散液。选择的胶凝剂还必须在配制和加工完成后成为具有所需凝胶基质的凝胶除臭组合物;其具有所需硬度和涂敷特性。
在本发明的凝胶除臭组合物中使用的优选的胶凝剂是脂肪酸盐,其中脂肪酸部分含有约12-约40个碳原子,优选约12-约22个碳原子,更优选约16-约20个碳原子,最优选约18个碳原子。这些胶凝剂中使用的合适的形成阳离子的盐包括金属盐,例如碱金属(例如钠和钾),和碱上金属(例如镁和铝盐)。优选钠和钾盐,更优选硬脂酸钠、棕榈酸钠、月桂酸钠、花生酸钠、山酸钠、硬脂酸钾、棕铝酸钾、肉豆蔻酸钠、棕榈酸钾、一硬脂酸铝,或它们的组合。最优选的是硬脂酸钠。
适合于制造脂肪酸胶凝剂的脂肪酸的非限定的例子包括酸,例如肉豆蔻酸、棕榈酸、硬脂酸、油酸、月桂酸、山嵛酸、花生酸、亚油酸、亚麻酸、十七酸或它们的组合。这些脂肪酸优选由例如下列的原料产生:椰子油、牛脂、羊毛脂、鱼油、蜂蜡、棕榈油、花生油、橄榄油、棉子油、豆油、玉米油、菜子油、松香酸、动物脂,和由其他天然原料产生,或由在配制领域技术熟练的人员熟知的合成或半合成方法产生。
适合在无水凝胶除臭组合物中使用的其他合适的胶凝剂包括羟基酸、脂肪酸、脂肪酸酯和酰胺和脂肪酸盐、羟基脂肪酸、胆甾醇物质,羊毛脂物质,和用作胶凝剂的已知的其他酰胺胶凝胶剂,或者在下文中另外详细说明的那些胶凝剂。
合适的脂肪酸胶凝剂的非限定的例子包括含有约10-约40个碳原子的脂肪酸和羟基脂肪酸或α-羟基脂肪酸,其例子包括12-羟基硬脂酸、12-羟基月桂酸、16-羟基十六酸、山嵛酸、eurcic酸、硬脂酸、辛酸、月桂酸、异硬脂酸、它们的组合和它们的盐。

在无水凝胶除臭组合物中使用的合适的酰胺胶凝剂的非限定的例子包括二取代的或支链的一酰胺胶凝剂、一取代的或支链的二酰胺胶凝剂、三酰胺胶凝剂、或它们的组合。优选的是与下式一致的二-和/或三-碱式羧或酐的烷基酰胺:式中主链由C′和C″和X键合形成,和式中:

适合在无水凝胶除臭组合物中使用的具体的烷基酰胺胶凝剂的非限定的例子包括柠檬酸、丙三羧酸、乌头酸、次氯基三乙酸、琥珀酸和衣康酸的烷基酰胺,例如1,2,3-丙三丁酰胺、2-羟基-1,2,3-丙三丁酰胺、1-丙烯-1,2,3-三辛酰胺、N,N′,N″-三(乙酰基癸酰)胺、2-十二酰基-N,N′-二己基琥珀酰胺,和2-十二酰基-N,N′-二丁基琥珀酰胺。
挥发性非极性溶剂
本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物含有挥发性非极性溶剂,其具有选择的蒸汽压和溶解度参数。在所述的无水凝胶除臭组合物中挥发性非极性溶剂的浓度是所述组合物重量的约1%-约50%,优选约10%-约40%,更优选20%-约40%,最优选约30%-约40%。
在这里使用的术语“挥发性”指的是本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物的挥发性非极性溶剂,和在本说明书中特别指的是具有在25℃下测定的蒸汽压约0.01mmHg-约6mmHg,优选约0.02mmHg-约1.5mmHg,和在1大气压(latm)下平均沸点小于约250℃,优选在1大气压(atm)下小于约235℃的非极性溶剂。
在这里使用的术语“非极性”指的是本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物的挥发性非极性溶剂,和在本说明书中特别指的是具有溶解度参数小于8.0(Cal/cm3)0.5,优选约5.0(Cal/cm3)0.5-小于8.0(Cal/cm3)0.5,更优选6.0(Cal/cm3)0.5-约7.6(Cal/cm3)0.5的挥发性溶剂。

在无水凝胶除臭组合物中使用的其他合适的挥发性非极性溶剂的非限定的例子包括己二酸二丁酯、己二酸二异丙酯、十二烷、辛烷、癸烷和它们的组合。其他例子还包括C11-C15烷/环烷,例如由Exxon得到的Exxsol D80。
极性溶剂
本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物含有一种或多种具有选择性的高溶解度参数的极性溶剂。在无水凝胶除臭组合物中极性溶剂的浓度随着所述组合物中极性溶剂、胶凝剂和其他溶剂的具体组合而变化,但是必须不超过所述组合物重量的约15%,优选是无水凝胶除臭组合物重量的约0.5%-约10%,更优选约1%-约8%,最优选约3%-约7%,其中极性溶剂的溶解度参数至少12.5(Cal/cm3)0.5,优选12.5(Cal/cm3)0.5-约25(Cal/cm3)0.5,更优选12.5(Cal/cm3)0)0.5-约17.0(Cal/cm3)0.5。
在无水凝胶除臭组合物中使用的合适的极性溶剂的非限定的例子包括一元醇、多元醇、和它们组合,其例子包括C1-C20一元醇,优选C2-C8一元醇,和含有2-7个重复的丙氧基或乙氧基的聚丙二醇和聚乙二醇,含有2-16个重复的甘油部分的聚甘油。
适合在无水凝胶除臭组合物中使用的极性溶剂的具体例子包括但是不限于甘油、丙二醇、二丙二醇、乙醇、水、三丙二醇、丁二醇、丙二醇甲基醚、二丙二醇甲基醚、和它们的组合。最优选甘油。
本发明的凝胶除臭组合物优选基本上不含有丙二醇、二丙二醇、或它们的组合。在本说明书中术语“基本上不含有”意思是所述组合物优选含有小于20%,更优选小于10%,最优选0%(重量)丙二醇、二丙二醇、或它们的组合。
本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物的优选实施方案是含有甘油作为极性溶剂和在这里定义的脂肪酸的金属盐作为胶凝剂的组合物,其中甘油与脂肪酸盐的重量比是约0.5∶1-约3∶1,优选约0.8∶1-约1.5∶1。已经发现在无水凝胶除臭组合物中甘油与脂肪酸盐这个窄的比例使一种足够硬的凝胶条状物制剂可以用足够低的加工温度来配制或加工,以降低或消除所述组合物中热敏物质的热降解。硬脂酸钠与甘油的组合是最优选的。
本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物的另一个实施方案是那些含有这里所描述的无水凝胶除臭组合物中脂肪酸或羟基脂肪酸的组合物。和本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物所有其他实施方案不同,这些组合物可以含有但是不一定要求使用极性溶剂,优选含有小于5%,更优选小于2%,最优选小于0.1%(重量)所述极性溶剂。

中等极性溶剂
本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物还可以含有一种或多种具有选择性的中等溶解度参数的中等极性溶剂。在本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物中除了与上述极性溶剂共同使用外还可以使用该任选使用的溶剂。该中等极性溶剂有助于减少无水凝胶除臭组合物在运送或持续存贮中,特别是在较暖热气候中或在较暖热的条件下运送或存贮中的脱水收缩。中等极性溶剂也有助于降低可能引起无水凝胶除臭组合物中的香料或其他类似物质的热降解的加工温度。
中等极性溶剂包括一种或多种溶解度参数约8.0(Cal/cm3)0.5-小于12.5(Cal/cm3)0.5,优选约9.0-小于12.5(Cal/cm3)0.5的溶剂,其中在无水凝胶除臭组合物中中等极性溶剂的浓度优选约0.1%-约40%,更优选约5%-约30%。中等极性溶剂具体浓度的选择取决于在该无水凝胶除臭组合物中其他选择的溶剂和胶凝剂。
适合在无水凝胶除臭组合物中使用的中等极性溶剂的非限定的例子包括含有约8-约30个碳原子的脂肪醇的乙氧基醚、多元醇酯、脂肪酸酯、含有至少8个乙氧基的聚乙二醇、含有至少8个丙氧基的聚丙二醇、含有至少4个碳原子的非聚合二醇、及它们的组合。
适合在所述凝胶除臭组合物中使用的中等极性溶剂的非限定的具体例子包括聚丙二醇单异硬脂酸酯;PPG-3肉豆蔻基醚;PEG-8;己二醇;1,2-己二醇;1,2-PPG-14丁醚、二甲基异山梨醇、和它们的组合。优选己二醇、PPG-3肉豆蔻基醚、丙二醇单硬脂酸酯、1,2-己二醇、和它们的组合。已经发现含有1,2-己二醇的无水凝胶除臭组合物用于局部皮肤时特别有效于提供改进的产物透明度和改善其温和性。
任选组分
本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物还可以含有一种或多种任选组分,其可以改进所述组合物的物理、化学、化妆和美学特性,或作为沉积在皮肤上的附加的“活性组分”。所述组合物还可以含有任选的惰性组分。许多这样的任选组分在除臭剂中或其他的护肤组合物中的应用是已知的,它们也可以用于本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物中,条件是该任选物质与这里所述的主要物质是相容的,或者不会过度损害产品的性能。

制造方法
本发明的组合物可以用本技术领域已知的配制凝胶除臭组合物的任何方法制造。正如本技术领域技术熟练人员清楚了解的,具体的方法取决于使用的组分的具体类型和数量的选择。
本发明的组合物一般可以用混合极性溶剂、挥发的非极性溶剂、除臭活性组分和任何其他任选组分制造。在搅拌时加入胶凝剂,将混合物加热至温度约75℃至100℃以使胶凝剂溶化,形成基本清澈透明的液体。在加入香料之前(在可使用时)将得到的溶液冷却,然后在约70℃将冷却的组合物倒入合适的容器或给料器中,在其中冷却固化,使所含的组合物冷却至环境温度。

本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物可以用任何已知方法或其他有效方法局部施用于皮肤以控制与出汗有关的恶臭。这些方法包括将安全和有效量的本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物涂抹在腋下或人皮肤的其他区域。在本说明书中,术语“安全和有效量”意思是在以合理的险/效比(risk/benefit)供人体安全使用时能有效掩盖、减少或消除人体上由出汗引起的恶臭的局部施用于皮肤的无水凝胶除臭组合物的量。在本说明书中,安全和有效量一般是每个腋部约0.1克至约2.0克。本发明的组合物优选施用于腋下或皮肤的其他区域,每天一次或二次,优选每天一次。
实施例
下列实施例说明本发明的无水凝胶除臭组合物的具体实施方案,包括制造和使用方法,但是不是用来限制本发明。技术熟练的人员可进行其他修改而不背离本发明的构思和范围。
每个举例的组合物的制备方法是将列出的所有组分混合,除了胶凝剂和香料外,并在搅拌下加热各组分的混合物至温度高于胶凝剂的熔点但是低于100℃;然后在继续加热和搅拌混合物时加入胶凝剂直到形成基本清晰透明的液体,这时将所述液体冷却到温度69℃-73℃。在搅拌下将香料加入冷却的液体中;然后将含有香料的液体倒入合适的给料器和其他容器中,冷却至环境温度使其固化。

在表1-4中说明的所得组合物是局部施用于腋下的凝胶除臭剂,施用量为约每个腋部约0.1g-约2g。所用组合物有效地降低,掩盖或消除出汗的臭味,和在施用中和施用后有良好的皮肤感觉。该组合物对皮肤是温和的和几乎不引起皮肤刺激。所有举例的量除非另有说明外均以所述组合物的总重量为基准的重量百分数。
Claims (9)
1.无水凝胶除臭组合物,包含
(a)0.001%-50%重量的除臭活性组分、香料或其组合;
(b)0.01%-20%重量的胶凝剂;
(c)1%-50%重量的非极性挥发性溶剂,其溶解度参数小于8.0(Cal/cm3)0.5,在25℃的蒸汽压为0.01mmHg-6mmHg,平均沸点小于250℃,并且其中该非极性挥发性溶剂是具有4-40个碳原子的挥发性支链烃;和
(d)1%-15%重量的溶解度参数12.5-25(Cal/cm3)0.5的极性溶剂。
2.权利要求1的无水凝胶除臭组合物,其中该组合物含有小于1%重量的水,并且其中该胶凝剂是含有12-22个碳原子的脂肪酸的碱金属盐。
3.权利要求1的无水凝胶除臭组合物,其中所述组合物含有两种或多种具有不同分子量的挥发性支链烃的组合,其中的每种具有6-20个碳原子。
4.权利要求3的无水凝胶除臭组合物,其中挥发性支链烃选自C13-C14异链烷烃、C7-C8异链烷烃、C8-C9异链烷烃、C10-C11异链烷烃、C11-C13异链烷烃、C11-C12异链烷烃和它们的组合。
5.上述权利要求中任一项的无水凝胶除臭组合物,其中极性溶剂选自甘油、丙二醇、双丙甘醇、乙醇、三丙二醇、丁二醇、丙二醇甲基醚、双丙甘醇甲基醚和它们的组合。
6.权利要求1-4中任一项的无水凝胶除臭组合物,其中极性溶剂包括甘油,脂肪酸盐是硬脂酸钠,甘油与硬脂酸钠的重量比是0.8∶1-1.5∶1。
7.权利要求1-4中任一项的无水凝胶除臭组合物,其中除臭活性组分选自0.01%-1.0%重量的三氯二苯脲,0.01%-1.0%重量的三氯森和0.02%-2.0%重量的它们的任何组合。
8.权利要求1-4中任一项的无水凝胶除臭组合物,其中所述组合物还含有0.1%-40%重量的溶解度参数为8.0(Cal/cm3)0.5-小于12.5(Cal/cm3)0.5的中等极性溶剂。
9.权利要求8的无水凝胶除臭组合物,其中中等极性溶剂包括1,2-己二醇。
