Abstract
A landing gear centering mechanism is characterized in that a groove matched with a rolling piece in shape is formed in the bottom of a supporting guide rail, two sides of the supporting guide rail are respectively fixed to an outer barrel of a landing gear buffer strut, the rolling piece is mounted on a rolling support through a mounting shaft, and meanwhile the rolling piece can rotate around the mounting shaft; the rolling support is fixed on an upper torsion arm of the undercarriage, one end of the upper torsion arm is mounted on an outer barrel of a buffer strut of the undercarriage, the other end of the upper torsion arm is connected with one end of a lower torsion arm, and the other end of the lower torsion arm is mounted on the airplane wheel; one end of the buffer strut piston rod is mounted on the airplane wheel, and the other end of the buffer strut piston rod is mounted in the landing gear buffer strut outer barrel. The invention has simple structure, safety, reliability and good practicability; the structure of the undercarriage buffer strut is effectively simplified, and the internal space of the undercarriage buffer strut is saved; meanwhile, the requirement on the initial pressure of the landing gear buffer strut is lowered; the inspection and maintenance are convenient, and the maintenance cost is greatly reduced.

The invention relates to the technical field of undercarriage structures, in particular to an undercarriage centering mechanism.
Background
Aircraft nose landing gear typically employs a cam centering mechanism to automatically center the wheels after liftoff. The traditional cam centering mechanism is arranged in a front landing gear buffer support and comprises an upper cam and a lower cam, the lower cam is fixed on an outer cylinder of a main support of the landing gear, the upper cam is fixed on a piston rod of the landing gear buffer support, and air pressure in the landing gear buffer support after wheels are lifted off the ground enables the piston rod of the landing gear buffer support to extend out, so that the upper cam is meshed with the lower cam to drive the wheels to return to a neutral position.
However, in the traditional cam centering mechanism, because the cam is located inside the undercarriage buffering support column, the internal space of the undercarriage buffering support column is occupied, the structural complexity of the undercarriage buffering support column is increased, the structural weight is increased, the undercarriage buffering support column is not beneficial to inspection and maintenance, the problem of difficulty in centering and the like in the process of centering is solved, the undercarriage buffering support column can only be disassembled by returning to a factory for inspection and analysis, and the maintenance cost is high.

a centering mechanism of an undercarriage comprises a support guide rail, a rolling element, a rolling support, an upper torsion arm, a lower torsion arm, a buffer support piston rod and an undercarriage buffer support outer cylinder, wherein a groove matched with the rolling element in shape is formed in the bottom of the support guide rail, two sides of the support guide rail are respectively fixed to the undercarriage buffer support outer cylinder, the rolling element is installed on the rolling support through an installation shaft, and meanwhile the rolling element can rotate around the installation shaft; the rolling support is fixed on an upper torsion arm, one end of the upper torsion arm is mounted on the outer cylinder of the landing gear buffer strut through a connecting shaft, the other end of the upper torsion arm is connected with one end of a lower torsion arm, and the other end of the lower torsion arm is mounted on the airplane wheel; one end of a buffer strut piston rod is arranged on the airplane wheel, and the other end of the buffer strut piston rod is arranged in the landing gear buffer strut outer cylinder; during the expansion and contraction of the piston rod of the buffering support column, the rolling support rotates along with the upper torsion arm, and when the airplane wheel deflects, the rolling support rotates around the axis of the buffering support column of the undercarriage together with the upper torsion arm, the lower torsion arm, the piston rod of the buffering support column, the fork and the airplane wheel.
In the invention, the support guide rail is of a V-shaped structure, and a groove is arranged at the bottom of the V-shaped structure.

when the undercarriage is lifted off the ground, the airplane wheels are not subjected to ground load, the undercarriage buffer strut is extended due to the fact that air pressure exists in the undercarriage buffer strut, if the airplane wheels are in the neutral position, the balls rotate around the connecting shaft between the upper torsion arm and the undercarriage buffer strut outer cylinder along with the upper torsion arm, and finally the balls return to the arc groove at the bottom of the V-shaped structure of the supporting guide rail and are matched with the arc groove in shape, so that the airplane wheels are prevented from deviating from the neutral position under disturbance; if the airplane wheel is not in the neutral position, the ball is in contact with the supporting guide rail in the extension process of the landing gear buffer support, so that the ball tends to move towards the bottom of the V-shaped structure of the supporting guide rail.

Referring to fig. 1 to 5, the undercarriage centering mechanism includes a support rail 1, a ball 2, a rolling support 3, an upper torsion arm 4, a lower torsion arm 5, a buffer strut piston rod 6 and an undercarriage buffer strut outer cylinder 7, wherein the support rail 1 is a V-shaped structure, an arc groove is formed at the bottom of the V-shaped structure to match the shape of the ball 2, two oblique sides of the V-shaped structure are respectively fixed to the undercarriage buffer strut outer cylinder 7 through bolts, and the support rail 1 is structurally shown in fig. 2; the ball 2 is arranged on the rolling bracket 3 through an installation shaft, and meanwhile, the ball 2 can rotate around the installation shaft; the rolling support 3 is fixed on an upper torsion arm 4 through a bolt, one end of the upper torsion arm 4 is installed on an undercarriage buffer strut outer cylinder 7 through a connecting shaft, the other end of the upper torsion arm 4 is connected with one end of a lower torsion arm 5 through a pin shaft, and the other end of the lower torsion arm 5 is installed on an airplane wheel; one end of the buffer strut piston rod 6 is arranged on the airplane wheel, and the other end of the buffer strut piston rod 6 is arranged in the landing gear buffer strut outer cylinder 7; during the extension and retraction of the buffer strut piston rod 6, the rolling bracket 3 rotates with the upper torsion arm 4, and when the aircraft deflects, the rolling bracket 3 rotates around the landing gear buffer strut axis together with the upper torsion arm 4, the lower torsion arm 5, the buffer strut piston rod 6, the wheel fork and the aircraft wheel.
In the embodiment, after the undercarriage touches the ground, the undercarriage buffer strut compresses, the buffer strut piston rod 6 compresses upwards, and then the lower torsion arm 5 and the upper torsion arm 4 are driven to move, the upper torsion arm 4 rotates to enable the ball 2 to be separated from the arc groove at the bottom of the V-shaped structure of the support guide rail 1, the ball 2 is not restrained by the support guide rail 1, and the airplane wheel freely rotates, as shown in fig. 3;
after the undercarriage is lifted off the ground, the airplane wheel is not subjected to ground load, the undercarriage buffer strut is extended due to the fact that air pressure exists in the undercarriage buffer strut, if the airplane wheel is in the neutral position, the ball 2 rotates around the connecting shaft between the upper torsion arm 4 and the undercarriage buffer strut outer cylinder 7 along with the upper torsion arm 4, and finally the ball 2 returns to the arc groove at the bottom of the V-shaped structure of the supporting guide rail 1 and is matched with the arc groove in shape, so that the airplane wheel is prevented from deviating from the neutral position under the disturbance; if the airplane wheel is not in the neutral position, in the extension process of the landing gear buffer strut, the ball 2 is in contact with the bevel edge of the V-shaped structure of the support guide rail 1, as shown in fig. 4, the schematic diagram of the centering mechanism is shown in fig. 5, the ball 2 has a tendency of moving towards the bottom of the V-shaped structure of the support guide rail, and the ball 2 is loaded to enable the ball 2 to move towards the middle along the bevel edge of the V-shaped structure of the support guide rail 1, so that the centering load is transmitted to the upper torsion arm 4, the lower torsion arm 5 and the buffer strut piston rod 6 until the ball 2 returns to the arc groove at the bottom of the V-shaped structure of the support guide rail 1, and the airplane wheel is driven to return to the neutral position, and the automatic centering of the airplane wheel off the ground is completed.

1. A centering mechanism of an undercarriage comprises a support guide rail, a ball, a rolling support, an upper torsion arm, a lower torsion arm, a buffer strut piston rod and an undercarriage buffer strut outer cylinder, and is characterized in that a groove matched with the ball in shape is formed in the bottom of the support guide rail, two sides of the support guide rail are respectively fixed on the undercarriage buffer strut outer cylinder, the ball is mounted on the rolling support through a mounting shaft, and meanwhile, the ball can rotate around the mounting shaft; the rolling support is fixed on an upper torsion arm, one end of the upper torsion arm is mounted on an outer barrel of a landing gear buffer strut through a connecting shaft, the other end of the upper torsion arm is connected with one end of a lower torsion arm, and the other end of the lower torsion arm is mounted on the airplane wheel; one end of the buffer strut piston rod is arranged on the airplane wheel, and the other end of the buffer strut piston rod is arranged in the outer barrel of the landing gear buffer strut;
after the undercarriage touches the ground, the undercarriage buffer strut compresses, a piston rod of the buffer strut compresses upwards, and then the lower torsion arm and the upper torsion arm are driven to move, the upper torsion arm rotates to enable the balls to be separated from a groove at the bottom of the V-shaped structure of the support guide rail, the balls are not restricted by the support guide rail, and the airplane wheel rotates freely;
when the undercarriage is off the ground, the airplane wheels are not subjected to ground load, the undercarriage buffer strut is extended due to the fact that air pressure exists in the undercarriage buffer strut, and at the moment, if the airplane wheels are in the neutral position, the balls rotate around the connecting shaft between the upper torsion arm and the undercarriage buffer strut outer cylinder along with the upper torsion arm, and finally the balls return to the bottom groove of the V-shaped structure of the supporting guide rail and are matched with the shape of the groove, so that the airplane wheels are prevented from deviating from the neutral position under disturbance; if the airplane wheel is not in the neutral position, the ball is in contact with the support guide rail in the extension process of the landing gear buffer support, so that the ball tends to move towards the bottom of the V-shaped structure of the support guide rail.
2. A landing gear centering mechanism according to claim 1, wherein the support rail is a V-shaped structure, and a groove is formed in the bottom of the V-shaped structure.

4. A landing gear centering mechanism according to claim 1, wherein the upper torsion arm is connected to one end of the lower torsion arm by a pin.
5. The gear centering mechanism of claim 1, wherein the rolling bracket is of a triangular structure, and the ball is mounted on the top of the rolling bracket through a mounting shaft.
6. A mechanism as claimed in claim 1, wherein, in use, the support rail is of arcuate configuration and the base of the arcuate configuration is provided with a recess.
