Description
本发明涉及单组分热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂。
聚氨酯是众所周知的胶粘剂。它们是极其多用的,因为它们可以配制成通用胶以及适用于特定应用的多种多样的专用胶水。
近年来,运输车辆行业越来越多地转用胶粘剂来组装其产品。部分地通过用重量较轻的塑料和复合材料替代金属以及部分地希望通过减少所使用的焊缝和机械紧固件的数量来简化制造方法而驱动了这种趋势。由于例如在各种情况下要胶合的不同基底,在组装过程的不同点可以承受的不同固化条件以及在固化的胶粘剂中所需的胶粘、机械和其他特性,因此需要若干种不同的胶粘剂。在每种情况下,必须调整胶粘剂以满足特定需求。
例如,前照灯和其他汽车照明设备通常由塑料材料制成。有时使用胶粘剂来组装构成零件并且将设备安装到车辆上。在车辆制造过程的这个特定阶段,高温固化是不切实际的,因此胶粘剂必须在环境温度或接近环境温度下固化。另一方面,胶粘剂必须能够在应用之后(如果不立即)非常短的时间内支撑零件的重量。这些要求已导致制造商选择了用于这种应用的热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂。这些胶粘剂可以配制为在室温下固化。它们可以作为温热流体来应用,所述温热流体随后冷却并且固化以提供初始粘附性。通过在冷却时快速固化,胶粘剂不从竖直表面或其他倾斜表面上掉落。
针对此应用开发的胶粘剂有两个主要缺点。它们在应用后不足够快地产生胶粘强度。胶粘剂仅通过冷却和固化而产生的附加强度通常是不足的;所需的强度只有通过固化才能达到。因此,胶粘剂需要在其被应用后即使是在室温下也快速产生粘合强度。
另一个问题是“蠕变”,蠕变是在载荷下随时间的渐进变形,这种情况下所述载荷是零件的重量。
将希望提供一种热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂,所述热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂在室温或接近室温下固化,与塑料和复合材料牢固粘合,并且展现出良好的初始强度和低的蠕变。
本发明在一个方面是一种单组分可湿固化性热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物,所述组合物是一种可热软化性室温固体,所述可热软化性室温固体包含:
A)占所述胶粘剂组合物的50至98重量%的含有游离异氰酸酯基团的聚氨酯预聚物,所述预聚物是以下的反应产物:
1)多元醇混合物,所述多元醇混合物包含
i)基于所述多元醇混合物的重量,至少35重量百分比的在22℃下为液体的至少一种羟基封端的聚酯;
ii)基于所述多元醇混合物的重量,至少10重量百分比的在22℃下为固体并且展现出70℃至130℃的结晶熔融温度的至少一种羟基封端的聚酯;以及
iii)基于所述多元醇混合物的重量,5至20重量百分比的氢醌双-(2-羟乙基)醚;与
2)过量的至少一种有机多异氰酸酯;
B)1至10重量%的至少一种具有高达2000的分子量的聚噁唑烷化合物;以及
C)催化有效量的用于水与异氰酸酯基团的反应的催化剂。
本发明还是一种固化的胶粘剂,所述固化的胶粘剂通过将本发明的单组分聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物固化而形成。本发明还是一种粘合两个基底的方法,所述方法包括在两个基底之间的粘合线处形成所述单组分聚氨酯胶粘剂的层,并且在所述粘合线处使所述层固化以形成与所述基底中的每个粘合的固化的胶粘剂。
所述固化的胶粘剂提供了所希望的良好初始强度和低的蠕变。它强烈地附着于塑料和复合材料(以及其他材料),并且不需要高温固化。
本发明的胶粘剂是单组分湿固化材料。“单组分”意指粘合剂的所有成分(在可湿固化期间供应的H2O除外)均形成为单一共混材料。“可湿固化”意指胶粘剂可以通过这样的机制固化,所述机制包括至少部分地使水与粘合剂的一种或多种组分反应。特别地,湿固化涉及:i)使水与预聚物的游离异氰酸酯基团反应,ii)使水与聚噁唑烷化合物反应以生成氨基和/或羟基,其进一步与预聚物的游离异氰酸酯基团反应,或iii)i)和ii)两者。
“热熔”意指胶粘剂在固化前具有室温(22℃)固体的物理形式,所述室温固体在一定高温下会热软化以形成可泵送的流体。所述胶粘剂优选是固体,所述固体在至少40℃、至少50℃、至少60℃或至少70℃的温度下热软化并且在冷却时重新固化。它优选在不大于150℃、更优选不大于120℃的温度下熔融软化。所述胶粘剂可以是半结晶材料,所述半结晶材料展现出40℃至150℃、尤其是70℃和130℃的一个或多个结晶熔融温度。
所述胶粘剂含有聚氨酯预聚物,所述聚氨酯预聚物含有游离异氰酸酯基团。所述预聚物可以含有基于预聚物的重量例如至少1%、至少2%或至少3重量%的异氰酸酯基团和在相同的基础上例如高达8%或高达6%的异氰酸酯基团。所述胶粘剂可以含有基于胶粘剂的重量例如至少0.5、至少1%或至少2%的异氰酸酯基团,并且可以含有在相同的基础上高达8%、高达6%、高达5%或高达4%的所述基团。
所述预聚物是多元醇混合物与至少一种有机多异氰酸酯的反应产物。
所述多元醇混合物包含在22℃下为液体的至少一种羟基封端的聚酯。此聚酯可以具有例如至少250、至少500或至少700并且例如高达2500、高达2000、高达1500或高达1200的羟基当量重量。它可以具有数均1.5至6、优选1.8至3并且尤其是1.8至2.2个羟基/分子。此聚酯可以包含芳族基团或是非芳族的。如果是非芳族的,则它可以是饱和或不饱和的,并且可以包含脂环族基团。液体羟基封端的聚酯可以具有0℃或更低,诸如-20℃或更低或-30℃或更低的玻璃化转变温度。合适的聚酯的实例包括聚(亚烷基己二酸酯)、聚(亚烷基琥珀酸酯)、聚(亚烷基戊酸酯)、聚(亚烷基己二酸-琥珀酸酯)、聚(亚烷基壬二酸酯)、聚(亚烷基癸二酸酯)等;以及聚内酯,诸如聚(己内酯),在每种情况下在22℃下为液体,如前所述。
聚酯多元醇的亚烷基(可以都相同或可以包括两种或更多种亚烷基的混合物)可以具有例如2至12个碳原子,并且可以是直链、支链和/或环状的。亚烷基的实例包括乙基、正丙基、异丙基、正丁基、新戊基、正戊基、正己基、正辛基等。1,4-丁二醇/异戊二醇己二酸酯是有用的液体羟基封端的聚酯的实例。
液体羟基封端的聚酯占多元醇混合物的总重量的至少35百分比。它可以占其至少50百分比或其至少60百分比,并且可以占其高达85重量百分比或其高达75重量百分比。可以使用两种或更多种液体羟基封端的聚酯。
多元醇混合物包含在22℃下为固体并且展现出如通过DSC(诸如根据DIN 53 765方法)测量的70℃至130℃的结晶熔融温度的至少一种羟基封端的聚酯。结晶熔融温度可以是至少75℃或至少80℃并且可以是高达120℃、高达110℃或高达100℃。此聚酯可以具有例如至少500、至少700、至少1000或至少1500并且例如高达5000、高达3500、或高达2500的羟基当量重量。它可以具有数均1.5至6、优选1.8至3并且尤其是1.8至2.2个羟基/分子。此聚酯可以包含芳族基团或是非芳族的。如果是非芳族的,则它可以是饱和或不饱和的,并且可以包含脂环族基团。合适的聚酯的实例包括与一种或多种脂族多元醇(直链、支链或环状)或芳族多元醇(诸如乙二醇、1,2-丙二醇、1,3-丙二醇、甘油、三羟甲基丙烷、1,6-己二醇、1,2,6-己三醇、丁二醇、蔗糖、葡萄糖、山梨糖醇、季戊四醇、甘露糖醇、三乙醇胺、N-甲基二乙醇胺以及这些化合物的混合物)与一种或多种多元羧酸(诸如1,6-己二酸、十二烷二酸、壬二酸、癸二酸、己二酸、1,18-十八烷二酸、邻苯二甲酸、对苯二甲酸、富马酸、马来酸、琥珀酸以及这些酸中的任何两种或更多种的混合物)的缩合产物对应的聚酯多元醇、或其酯或酸酐衍生物(诸如马来酸酐或邻苯二甲酸酐),所述聚酯多元醇在每种情况下在22℃下为固体并且具有如上所述的结晶熔融温度。具体的实例是聚(亚己基己二酸酯)。有用的可商购材料包括由赢创公司(Evonik Corporation)以商标名出售的聚酯,包括Dynacoll 7380、Dynacoll 7330、Dynacoll 7340、Dynacoll 7331、Dynacoll 7390和Dynacoll 7321。
具有70℃至130℃的结晶熔融温度的固体聚酯占多元醇混合物的重量的至少10百分比。它可以占其至少12,或至少15重量百分比并且占其例如高达60、高达40、高达30或高达25重量百分比。
基于所述多元醇混合物的重量,所述多元醇混合物含有5至20重量百分比的氢醌双-(2-羟乙基)醚。优选的量是5至15重量百分比、5至10重量百分比或5至8重量百分比。
多元醇混合物可以含有一种或多种任选的多元醇。其实例包括扩链剂,即除氢醌双(2-羟基醚)醚以外的具有200或更小的羟基当量重量和确切地2个羟基/分子的化合物;交联剂,即具有三个或更多个羟基和200或更小的羟基当量重量的化合物;具有大于200的羟基当量重量的聚醚多元醇以及具有高于22℃至小于70℃、尤其是30℃至65℃的结晶熔融温度的固体(在22℃下)聚酯多元醇。
扩链剂的实例包括1,2-乙二醇、1,2-或1,3-丙二醇、1,4-丁二醇、二甘醇、三甘醇、二丙二醇、三丙二醇、新戊二醇和具有高达200的羟基当量重量的任何前述项的烷氧基化物。扩链剂(如果存在的话)优选占多元醇混合物的重量的不多于5%、更优选不多于2%。所述多元醇混合物中可以不存在扩链剂。
交联剂的实例包括丙三醇、三羟甲基丙烷、三羟甲基乙烷、赤藓糖醇、季戊四醇、三乙醇胺、二乙醇胺和具有200或更小的羟基当量重量的任何前述项的烷氧基化物。交联剂(如果存在的话)优选占多元醇混合物的重量的不多于5%、更优选不多于2%、并且甚至更优选不多于1%或不多于0.5%。所述多元醇混合物中可以不存在交联剂。
具有大于200的羟基当量重量的聚醚多元醇包括环氧丙烷、环氧乙烷、环氧丁烷、四氢呋喃等的聚合物,和/或其中任何两种或更多种的无规和/或嵌段共聚物。此类聚醚多元醇可以具有例如高达5000、高达3000、高达2000、高达1500或高达1200的羟基当量重量。如果完全存在,则聚醚多元醇可以占多元醇混合物的总重量的例如高达25%、高达20%、高达15%、高达10%或高达5%。多元醇混合物中可以不存在聚醚多元醇。
具有高于22℃至小于70℃、尤其是30℃至65℃的结晶熔融温度的固体(在22℃下)聚酯多元醇(如果完全存在)可以占多元醇混合物的总重量的0.01至35百分比。优选的量(如果完全存在)是高达20百分比、高达15百分比、高达10百分比或高达5百分比。具有高于22℃至小于70℃的结晶熔融温度的固体(在22℃下)聚酯多元醇的组成、羟基当量重量和羟基官能度可以是如上总体上关于具有70℃至130℃的熔融温度的固体聚酯所述的。合适的可商购材料包括由赢创公司以7255、Dynacoll 7362、Dynacoll 7360、Dynacoll 7363、Dynacoll 7365、Dynacoll 7361和Dynacoll 7381出售的那些材料。
在一些实施例中,任选的多元醇一起占多元醇混合物的总重量的不多于20%、不多于15%、不多于10%、不多于5%、不多于2%或不多于1%。
多元醇混合物优选具有不大于2.5、尤其是不大于2.2的数均羟基官能度,以防止预聚物中形成交联。
有机多异氰酸酯优选具有高达350并且2至4个异氰酸酯基团/分子的异氰酸酯当量重量。有机多异氰酸酯化合物可以具有例如平均2至4或2.3至3.5个异氰酸酯基团/分子。在一些实施例中,异氰酸酯当量重量是80至250、80至200、或80至180。
有用的多异氰酸酯化合物是间亚苯基二异氰酸酯、甲苯-2,4-二异氰酸酯、甲苯-2,6-二异氰酸酯、亚萘基-1,5-二异氰酸酯、甲氧基苯基-2,4-二异氰酸酯、二苯基甲烷-4,4'-二异氰酸酯、二苯基甲烷-2,4’-二异氰酸酯、4,4'-亚联苯基二异氰酸酯、3,3'-二甲氧基-4,4'-联苯基二异氰酸酯、3,3'-二甲基-4-4'-联苯基二异氰酸酯、3,3'-二甲基二苯基甲烷-4,4'-二异氰酸酯、4,4',4"-三苯基甲烷三异氰酸酯、聚亚甲基多苯基异氰酸酯(PMDI)、甲苯-2,4,6-三异氰酸酯、4,4'-二甲基二苯基甲烷-2,2',5,5'-四异氰酸酯环己烷二异氰酸酯、1,3-和/或1,4-双(异氰酸基甲基)环己烷、1-甲基-环己烷-2,4-二异氰酸酯、1-甲基-环己烷-2,6-二异氰酸酯、亚甲基二环己烷二异氰酸酯、异佛尔酮二异氰酸酯和六亚甲基二异氰酸酯。包含氨基甲酸乙酯、脲、缩二脲、碳二亚胺、脲酮亚胺、脲基甲酸酯或通过异氰酸酯基团反应形成的其他基团的改性芳族多异氰酸酯也是有用的。优选的芳族多异氰酸酯是MDI或PMDI(或其混合物,通常称为“聚合物MDI”)以及所谓的“液体MDI”产物,所述产物是MDI和具有缩二脲、碳二亚胺、脲酮亚胺或脲基甲酸酯键的MDI衍生物的混合物。可以将前述两种或更多种的混合物用于制造预聚物。
提供过量的多异氰酸酯,选择多异氰酸酯和多元醇混合物的相对量,从而在反应后,所得预聚物具有如前所述的异氰酸酯含量。优选地,反应0.8至1.2摩尔多异氰酸酯/当量在多元醇混合物中的羟基。
预聚物通过使多异氰酸酯与多元醇混合物反应来制备。通常优选在反应之前将各种多元醇组合,尽管多元醇可以顺序地与多异氰酸酯在子组合中或单独地反应。此反应方便地在氨基甲酸乙酯催化剂的存在下在高温下进行。优选通过以下方式从预聚物形成中将水排除:例如预先干燥多元醇并且在真空或惰性气体(诸如氮气)下进行反应。在预聚物形成反应期间可以存在如下所述的填充剂。通常继续反应,直到多元醇混合物的羟基已被消耗并且已获得目标或恒定的异氰酸酯含量。
预聚物本身的特征总体上在于具有游离异氰酸酯基团以及在固化之前是在例如70℃至130℃的高温下热软化的室温固体材料。预聚物可以或可以不展现出在所述温度范围内的结晶熔融温度。
通过将预聚物与具有高达2000的分子量的聚噁唑烷化合物和用于水与异氰酸酯基团的反应的催化剂混合来制造本发明的胶粘剂。
聚噁唑烷化合物的特征在具有两个或更多个噁唑烷基团。噁唑烷基团具有以下结构:
其中R是氢、烷基、芳基取代的烷基、苯基或烷基取代的苯基。R优选是C1-6烷基、尤其是异丙基。聚噁唑烷化合物可以具有例如2至4个噁唑烷基团。可以经由与噁唑烷基团键合的一个或多个连接基团经由环氮或两个相邻环碳中的任一个来连接噁唑烷基团。如果未键合至连接基团,则环氮键合至氢、烷基、芳基取代的烷基、苯基或烷基取代的苯基。
连接基团可以含有例如一个或多个氨基甲酸乙酯、酯、碳酸酯或其他含杂原子的基团。
有用的噁唑烷化合物的实例包括具有结构I或II中任一个的那些:
其中R如前,x是1至20、尤其是2至12或2至8,并且每个y独立地是1至20、尤其是2至12或2至8。
根据结构I的有用的双-噁唑烷化合物(其中每个y是2,x是6并且R是异丙基)是由阿内特聚合物公司(Arnette Polymers LLC)以Arnox 4出售的。根据结构II的有用的双-噁唑烷化合物(其中每个y是2并且R是异丙基)由阿内特聚合物公司以Arnox 4LV出售的。
催化剂是催化水与异氰酸酯基团的反应的材料。它也可以催化羟基与异氰酸酯基团的反应。合适的催化剂包括,例如叔胺、环状脒、叔膦、各种金属螯合物、酸金属盐、强碱、各种金属醇盐和酚盐以及有机酸的金属盐。叔胺催化剂是优选的类型。
叔胺催化剂的实例包括三甲胺、三乙胺、N-甲基吗啉、N-乙基吗啉、N,N-二甲基苄胺、N,N-二甲基乙醇胺、N,N,N',N’-四甲基-1,4-丁二胺、N,N-二甲基哌嗪、1,4-二氮杂双环-2,2,2-辛烷、双(二甲基氨基乙基)醚、三亚乙基二胺和二甲基烷基胺(其中烷基含有4至18个碳原子)。有用的脒催化剂包括1,8-二氮杂双环[5.4.0]-十一碳-7-烯。尤其优选的催化剂是2,2-二吗啉代二乙醚。
通过将预聚物、噁唑烷化合物和催化剂混合来方便地制备胶粘剂。混合条件应包括不存在水以防止过早固化。由于预聚物典型地是室温固体,因此混合条件还典型地包括诸如70℃至150℃的高温以将预聚物热软化,从而可以将其他成分共混到其中。
基于胶粘剂的总重量,胶粘剂含有50至98重量%的预聚物。所述胶粘剂可以含有至少60重量-%至少70重量-%的预聚物并且可以含有在相同的基础上高达90重量-%或高达80重量-%。所述胶粘剂可以含有在相同的基础上1至10重量%的噁唑烷化合物。它可以含有至少2重量-%或至少3重量-%至高达8重量-%或高达7重量-%的所述化合物。
催化剂以催化有效量存在。例如,基于胶粘剂的重量,所述胶粘剂可以含有0.01至2重量百分比的催化剂,并且优选的量是0.025至0.5重量百分比。
所述胶粘剂可以含有各种任选的成分。优选的任选的成分是至少一种微粒填充剂。此类填充剂可以占胶粘剂的总重量的例如1至45、尤其是5至40重量百分比。微粒填充剂呈具有50nm至100μm的最长尺寸的颗粒的形式。填充剂可以具有至少250nm、至少500nm或至少1μm、高达例如50μm、25μm或10μm的最长尺寸。
微粒填充剂是在室温下为固体、不溶于胶粘剂的其他成分并且在制造预聚物(如果在预聚物形成步骤期间存在)或胶粘剂的条件下或在应用和固化胶粘剂的条件下不熔化、挥发或降解的材料。填充剂可以是例如无机填充剂,诸如玻璃、二氧化硅、氧化硼、氮化硼、氧化钛、氮化钛、粉煤灰、碳酸钙、各种氧化铝-硅酸盐(包括粘土,诸如硅灰石和高岭土)、金属颗粒(诸如铁、钛、铝、铜、黄铜、青铜等);热固性聚合物颗粒,诸如聚氨酯、固化的环氧树脂、苯酚-甲醛、甲酚-甲醛、交联的聚苯乙烯等;热塑性塑料,诸如聚苯乙烯、苯乙烯-丙烯腈共聚物、聚酰亚胺、聚酰胺-酰亚胺、聚醚酮、聚醚醚酮、聚乙烯亚胺、聚(对苯硫醚)、聚甲醛、聚碳酸酯等;以及各种类型的碳,诸如活性炭、石墨、炭黑等。在一些实施例中,微粒填充剂不包括碳颗粒。在一些实施例中,颗粒具有高达5、优选高达2、更优选高达1.5的纵横比。
填充剂颗粒中的一些或全部可以接枝到构成多元醇组分的成分(a)的一种或多种聚醚多元醇中的一种或多种上。
胶粘剂的另一有用的任选成分是干燥剂,诸如气相二氧化硅、硅胶、气凝胶、各种沸石和分子筛等。干燥剂可以占胶粘剂的高达5重量百分比、优选高达2重量百分比,并且可以不存在于其中。
本发明的胶粘剂优选含有不多于0.5重量%、更优选不多于0.1重量%的具有100℃或更低的沸腾温度的有机化合物。在固化之前,胶粘剂优选含有不多于0.1重量%、更优选不多于0.05重量%的水。
在一些实施例中,本发明的胶粘剂含有不多于10重量百分比、更优选不多于5重量百分比、并且甚至更优选不多于1重量百分比的增塑剂,诸如邻苯二甲酸酯、对苯二甲酸酯、苯六甲酸酯、癸二酸酯、马来酸酯或其他酯增塑剂、磺酰胺增塑剂、磷酸酯增塑剂、或聚醚二(羧酸酯)增塑剂。胶粘剂可以不含此类增塑剂。
胶粘剂优选在不存在水分的情况下包装和储存(如果制备后不立即使用)。
本发明还是一种用于粘合两个基底的方法。将胶粘剂优选在不存在水的情况下热软化以形成可流动的材料,所述材料形成为在两个基底之间并且与其接触的层。合适的热软化温度是70℃至130℃。在两个基底之间形成胶粘剂层之后,可以将胶粘剂冷却至低于40℃以使其硬化,从而以这种方式形成临时粘合。然后通过使所述层与H2O接触而使其在粘合线处固化,以形成与所述基底中的每个粘合的固化的胶粘剂。H2O可以处于液态和/或气态的聚集状态。在优选的方法中,H2O是大气水分,通过暴露于大气而使其与胶粘剂层接触。如前所讨论,固化通过水与预聚物的异氰酸酯基团和/或聚噁唑烷化合物的噁唑烷基团的一种或多种反应来进行。
固化优选在低于70℃、尤其是低于40℃的温度下进行,以避免将胶粘剂层热软化。优选的固化温度是15℃至40℃。在环境温度和湿度下暴露于空气中持续12小时至若干天的时间段通常足以使胶粘剂固化。
在使一个或多个基底与胶粘剂接触之前,可以将助粘剂应用于一个或两个基底。然而,这是任选的并且可以省略。
基底不受限制。它们可以是例如金属、金属合金、有机聚合物、木质纤维素材料(诸如木材、纸板或纸)、陶瓷材料、各种类型的复合材料、或其他材料。碳纤维增强塑料、填充聚丙烯和聚碳酸酯是特别感兴趣的基底。在一些实施例中,基底是车辆零件或车辆子组件。在其他实施例中,基底是单独的板层,所述板层使用本发明的胶粘剂被胶合在一起以形成多层层压体。在其他实施例中,基底是建筑构件。
提供以下实例以说明本发明,但不旨在限制其范围。除非另外指明,否则所有份数和百分比都是按重量计的。在以下实例中:
HQEE是氢醌双(2-羟乙基)醚,其具有约100的羟基当量重量。
结晶聚酯A是具有85℃的结晶熔融温度、约30.5的羟值(当量重量大约1840)和约3500的数均分子量的饱和聚酯。
结晶聚酯B是具有53℃的结晶熔融温度、约50.5的羟值(当量重量大约1110)和约2000的数均分子量的饱和聚酯。
液体聚酯是1000当量重量的名义上双官能的聚(丁烯/新戊基)己二酸酯,其中丁烯与新戊基单元的摩尔比是大约55:45。此材料在22℃下为液体。
交联剂是具有约88的羟基当量重量的名义上三官能的丙氧基化丙三醇。
液体MDI是具有约2.2的异氰酸酯官能度和约143的当量重量的改性二苯基甲烷二异氰酸酯产物。
实例1和对比样品A-D
滑石填充的NCO聚氨酯预聚物由表1中所指示的配制品制成。

在每种情况下,将聚酯、交联剂和HQEE在105℃下在真空下干燥24小时。将滑石在200℃下干燥24小时。将干燥的材料保持在氮气下,直到被使用。
将干燥的聚酯、交联剂和HQEE加入反应器中,并且在氮气下在搅拌下加热至95℃,直到HQEE溶解。添加滑石,并且在搅拌下将混合物维持在相同的温度,直到滑石已分散。添加多异氰酸酯,并且将所得反应在氮气下搅拌,直到放热温度升高完全。然后添加锡催化剂。并且将混合物在氮气下加热至120℃以完成预聚物形成反应。所得产物是异氰酸酯封端的聚氨酯预聚物。在每种情况下,预聚物(不包含滑石)均含有大约4%的异氰酸酯基团。填充的预聚物含有约3.3%的异氰酸酯基团。
为了制造胶粘剂,在每种情况下,在氮气下将热滑石填充的预聚物与0.10份2,2-二吗啉代二乙醚和5份具有以下结构的双-噁唑烷组合:
双-噁唑烷具有约518的分子量。充分混合后,将所得胶粘剂倒入料筒中并且密封。
当冷却时,每种胶粘剂是室温固体,其具有在25℃下超过1,000,000cps的粘度。
对于将40%滑石填充的聚丙烯片材粘合到聚碳酸酯上,评估对比样品A-D和实例1中的每一个。测试片材的尺寸是3.8mm厚、2.54cm宽和110.6cm长。在应用胶粘剂之前将聚丙烯片材等离子处理大约一小时以产生至少60达因/cm的表面能。将0.76mm玻璃间隔珠应用于聚丙烯基底的表面。在每种情况下,将胶粘剂通过加热至120℃而熔融,并且应用到聚丙烯基底上。将聚碳酸酯片材应用到胶粘剂上以产生25.4mm的重叠。在每种情况下,将组装好的试样用装订夹结合在一起,并且在25℃和80%相对湿度下固化3天,以进行蠕变测试。将重复的试样在环境温度和湿度下固化10分钟,以评估处理强度。
通过根据ISO标准ISO 4587测量搭接剪切强度来对10分钟固化的样品进行处理强度。设备是配备机械夹具的5500R材料测试系统。夹具之间的距离是17.8cm,并且十字头速度是12.7mm/分钟。在此测试中,至少300N的处理强度被认为是足够的。
通过在完全固化的试样的每端打孔来进行蠕变测试。将试样的一端用钩子悬挂,并且从另一端,通过另一个钩子附接4.5kg重量。在85℃下24小时后,目视检查试样。“通过”等级表明,没有看到胶粘接头的可见移动。“未通过”等级表明胶粘接头的移动或失效。
结果如表2所指示。

对比样品B显示出在不存在具有70℃至130℃的结晶熔融温度的聚酯的情况下多元醇混合物包含约6%的HQEE的效果。尽管获得了足够的蠕变性能,但处理强度差。
将具有仅约53℃的熔融温度的结晶聚酯添加到含有约4.8%HQEE(对比样品C)的多元醇混合物中使处理强度和蠕变性能变差。
对比样品D含有较高熔点和较低熔点的结晶聚酯两者,但是多元醇混合物含有仅约4.2%的HQEE。这种组合允许其获得非常好的处理强度,但是蠕变性能差。
对比A含有高熔点结晶聚酯,并且用于制造预聚物的多元醇混合物含有约4.8%的HQEE。处理强度好,但蠕变性能又差。
实例1实现了处理强度和蠕变性能的良好平衡。处理强度是约300N,这是令人满意的。实例1中的多元醇混合物含有5.6%HQEE和17%的高熔点聚酯。
此数据集表明,处理强度强烈取决于在预聚物制备期间存在具有70℃至130℃的熔融温度的结晶聚酯;实例1是使用比对比样品A和B更少的所述材料制造的,因此认为其具有稍微较低的处理强度。基于此数据集,预期增加所述材料的量将进一步增加与对比样品A和D的处理强度相称的处理强度。
另一方面,对比样品A-D的数据表明,在预聚物制备中所述聚酯的存在对蠕变具有不利影响。比较例如对比样品B的蠕变结果与对比样品A、C和D的蠕变结果。然而,当与必需量的HQEE联合使用时,尽管在预聚物制备期间存在所述聚酯,但是获得了良好的蠕变性能。
Claims (15)
1.一种单组分可湿固化性热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物,所述组合物是一种可热软化性室温固体,所述可热软化性室温固体包含:
A)50至98重量%的含有游离异氰酸酯基团的聚氨酯预聚物,所述预聚物是以下的反应产物:
1)多元醇混合物,所述多元醇混合物包含
i)基于所述多元醇混合物的重量,至少35重量百分比的在22℃下为液体的至少一种羟基封端的聚酯;
ii)基于所述多元醇混合物的重量,至少10重量百分比的在22℃下为固体并且展现出根据DIN 53 765方法通过DSC测量的70℃至130℃的结晶熔融温度的至少一种羟基封端的聚酯;以及
iii)基于所述多元醇混合物的重量,5至20重量百分比的氢醌双-(2-羟乙基)醚;与
2)过量的至少一种有机多异氰酸酯;
B)1至10重量%的至少一种具有高达2000的分子量的聚噁唑烷化合物;以及
C)催化有效量的用于水与异氰酸酯基团的反应的催化剂。
2.如权利要求1所述的单组分可湿固化性热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物,其中组分ii)具有75℃至100℃的结晶熔融温度。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的单组分可湿固化性热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物,其中组分ii)具有700至2500的羟基当量重量和1.8至3的羟基官能度。
4.如权利要求1或2所述的单组分可湿固化性热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物,其中组分i)具有700至1500的羟基当量重量和1.8至3的羟基官能度。
6.如权利要求5所述的单组分可湿固化性热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物,其中x是2至12。
7.如权利要求5所述的单组分可湿固化性热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物,其中x是2至8。
8.如权利要求5所述的单组分可湿固化性热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物,其中每个y独立地是2至12。
9.如权利要求5所述的单组分可湿固化性热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物,其中每个y独立地是2至8。
11.如权利要求1或2所述的单组分可湿固化性热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物,其中基于所述多元醇混合物的重量,所述多元醇混合物含有12至25重量%的组分ii)。
12.一种固化的胶粘剂,所述固化的胶粘剂通过将如权利要求1-11中任一项所述的单组分可湿固化性热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物固化而形成。
13.一种固化的胶粘剂,所述固化的胶粘剂通过使如权利要求1-11中任一项所述的单组分可湿固化性热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物与H2O接触而形成。
14.一种粘合两个基底的方法,所述方法包括在两个基底之间的粘合线处形成如权利要求1-11中任一项所述的单组分可湿固化性热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物的层,并且在所述粘合线处使所述层固化以形成与所述基底中的每个粘合的固化的胶粘剂。
15.一种粘合两个基底的方法,所述方法包括在两个基底之间的粘合线处形成如权利要求1-11中任一项所述的单组分可湿固化性热熔聚氨酯胶粘剂组合物的层,并且通过使所述层与H2O接触而在所述粘合线处使所述层固化,以形成与所述基底中的每个粘合的固化的胶粘剂。
