发明背景
发动机油与各种添加剂共混来满足各种性能要求。用于增加燃料经济性的一种公知方式是降低润滑油的粘度。然而,这种方案现在达到了目前的装置能力和规格的极限。在给定粘度下,公知的是加入有机或有机金属摩擦改性剂降低了润滑油的表面摩擦和允许更好的燃料经济性。然而,这些添加剂往往随之带来有害影响如增加的沉积物形成、密封冲击、或它们与抗磨损组分竞争有限的表面位点,由此不允许形成抗磨损膜,这引起增加的磨损。

烯烃–术语“烯烃”指的是通过许多方法来获得的具有一个或多个碳-碳双键的一类不饱和脂族烃。含有一个双键的那些被称作单烯烃,和具有两个双键的那些被称作二烯、烷基二烯或二烯烃。α烯烃是特别反应性的,因为双键介于第一碳和第二碳之间。实例是1-辛烯和1-十八烯,它们被用作中等生物可降解的表面活性剂的起点。线性和支化的烯烃也包括在烯烃的定义中。

润滑粘度的油/基础油组分
润滑粘度的油(有时候称作“基础油料”或“基础油”)是润滑剂的主要液体成分,向其中共混入添加剂和可能的其他油,例如以生产最终的润滑剂(或润滑剂组合物)。基础油可用于制造浓缩物以及由其来制造润滑油组合物,并且可以选自天然和合成润滑油及其组合。
天然油包括动物和植物油,液体石油以及链烷烃、环烷烃和混合的链烷烃-环烷烃类型的加氢精制的、溶剂处理的矿物润滑油。得自煤或页岩的润滑粘度的油也是有用的基础油。
合成润滑油包括烃油如聚合的和互聚的烯烃(例如聚丁烯、聚丙烯、丙烯-异丁烯共聚物、氯化的聚丁烯、聚(1-己烯)、聚(1-辛烯)、聚(1-癸烯);烷基苯(例如十二烷基苯、十四烷基苯、二壬基苯、二(2-乙基己基)苯;多酚(例如联苯、三联苯、烷基化的多酚);和烷基化的二苯基醚和烷基化的二苯基硫化物及其衍生物、类似物和同系物。
另一合适种类的合成润滑油包括二羧酸(例如丙二酸、烷基丙二酸、烯基丙二酸、琥珀酸、烷基琥珀酸和烯基琥珀酸、马来酸、富马酸、壬二酸、辛二酸、癸二酸、己二酸、亚油酸二聚体、邻苯二甲酸)与多种醇(例如丁醇、己醇、十二烷醇、2-乙基己醇、乙二醇、二甘醇单醚、丙二醇)的酯。这些酯的具体实例包括己二酸二丁酯,癸二酸二(2-乙基己基)酯,富马酸二正己酯,癸二酸二辛酯,壬二酸二异辛酯,壬二酸二异癸酯,邻苯二甲酸二辛酯,邻苯二甲酸二癸酯,癸二酸二(二十烷基)酯,亚油酸二聚体的2-乙基己基二酯,以及通过1mol的癸二酸与2mol的四甘醇和2mol的2-乙基己酸反应所形成的复合酯。
可用作合成油的酯还包括由C5-C12单羧酸和多元醇和多元醇醚如新戊二醇、三羟甲基丙烷、季戊四醇、二季戊四醇和三季戊四醇制造的那些。
在一种实施方案中,酯基础油以约1-10wt%存在,基于润滑油组合物的总重量。在其他实施方案中,酯基础油以约1-8wt%、约1-6wt%、约1-5wt%、约1-4wt%、约1-3wt%、约1-2wt%存在,基于润滑油组合物的总重量。
基础油可以得自费-托合成的烃。费-托合成的烃是使用费-托催化剂由含有H2和CO的合成气来制造。这样的烃典型地需要进一步加工以便用作基础油。例如烃可以是加氢异构化的;加氢裂化的和加氢异构化的;脱蜡的;或加氢异构化的和脱蜡的;使用本领域技术人员已知的方法。
未精炼的、精炼的和再精炼的油可以用于本发明润滑油组合物。未精炼的油是直接获自天然或合成源而没有进一步的净化处理的那些。例如直接获自干馏作业的页岩油、直接获自蒸馏的石油或直接获自酯化过程的酯油并且在没有进一步处理的情形下使用将是未精炼的油。精炼的油类似于未精炼的油,除了它们已经在一个或多个净化步骤中进一步处理以改进一种或多种性能。许多这样的净化技术如蒸馏、溶剂萃取、酸或碱萃取、过滤和渗滤是本领域技术人员已知的。再精炼的油通过应用于已经在运行中使用过的精炼的油的类似于用于获得精炼的油的那些的方法来获得。这样的再精炼油也称作再生或再加工的油,并且往往通过用过的添加剂和油分解产品的批准的技术来额外地加工。
因此,可以用于制造本发明润滑油组合物的基础油可以选自美国石油协会(API)基础油互换性指南(API Publication 1509)中规定的I-V类的任何基础油。这样的基础油类汇总在下表1中:

适用于本文的基础油是对应于API II类、III类、IV类和V类油及其组合的多种中的任一种,优选III类到V类油,这归因于它们的优异的挥发性、稳定性、粘度和透明度特征。
该基础油构成了本发明润滑油组合物的主要组分,并且以大于50-99wt%(例如70-95wt%、或85-95wt%)的量存在。
该基础油可以选自典型地用作火花点火内燃机的曲轴箱润滑油的合成油或天然油的任何一种。该基础油典型地具有1.5-6mm2/s的在100℃的运动粘度。在其中润滑基础油在100℃的运动粘度超过6mm2/s的情况中,可以降低低温粘度性能,并且可能无法获得足够的燃料效率。在1.5mm2/s或更低的运动粘度下,润滑空间中油膜的形成是不足的;因为这个原因,润滑是差的,并且可增加润滑油组合物的蒸发损失。
优选地,该基础油具有至少90(例如至少95、至少105、至少110、至少115、或至少120)的粘度指数。如果粘度指数小于90、则不仅粘度-温度性能、热和氧化稳定性、以及防挥发性降低,而且摩擦系数倾向于增加;并且抗磨损性能倾向于降低。
在一种实施方案中,该润滑油组合物是多级油。在另一实施方案中,该多级油是粘度等级SAE 0W-XX油,其中XX是8、10、12、16和20中的任何一个。
该润滑油组合物具有2.9cP或更低(例如1.0-2.9cP、或1.3-2.9cP)、2.6cP或更低(例如1.0-2.6cP、或1.3-2.6cP)、2.3cP或更低(例如1.0-2.3cP、或1.3-2.3cP)、例如2.0cP或更低(例如1.0-2.0cP、或1.3-2.3cP)、或甚至1.7cP或更低(例如1.0-1.7cP、或1.3-1.7cP)的在150℃的高温高剪切(HTHS)粘度。
该润滑油组合物具有至少135(例如135-400、或135-250)、至少150(例如150-400、150-250)、至少165(例如165-400、或165-250)、至少190(例如190-400、或190-250)、或至少200(例如200-400、或200-250)的粘度指数。如果该润滑油组合物的粘度指数小于135,则可能难以在保持在150℃的HTHS粘度的同时改进燃料效率。如果该润滑油组合物的粘度指数超过400,则可降低蒸发性能,并且可引起归因于与密封材料的匹配性以及添加剂的溶解性不足的缺陷。
该润滑油组合物具有3-12mm2/s(例如3-8.2mm2/s、3.5-8.2mm2/s、或4-8.2mm2/s)的在100℃的运动粘度。
通常,本发明的润滑油组合物中的硫水平小于或等于约0.7wt%,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量,例如硫水平是约0.01wt%至约0.70wt%、0.01-0.6wt%、0.01-0.5wt%、0.01-0.4wt%、0.01-0.3wt%、0.01-0.2wt%、0.01wt%-0.10wt%。在一种实施方案中,本发明的润滑油组合物中的硫水平小于或等于约0.60wt%、小于或等于约0.50wt%、小于或等于约0.40wt%、小于或等于约0.30wt%、小于或等于约0.20wt%、小于或等于约0.10wt%,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量。
在一种实施方案中,本发明的润滑油组合物中的磷水平小于或等于约0.12wt%,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量,例如磷水平是约0.01wt%至约0.12wt%。在一种实施方案中,本发明的润滑油组合物中的磷水平小于或等于约0.11wt%,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量,例如磷水平是约0.01wt%至约0.11wt%。在一种实施方案中,本发明的润滑油组合物中的磷水平小于或等于约0.10wt%,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量,例如磷水平是约0.01wt%至约0.10wt%。在一种实施方案中,本发明的润滑油组合物中的磷水平小于或等于约0.09wt%,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量,例如磷水平是约0.01wt%至约0.09wt%。在一种实施方案中,本发明的润滑油组合物中的磷水平小于或等于约0.08wt%,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量,例如磷水平是约0.01wt%至约0.08wt%。在一种实施方案中,本发明的润滑油组合物中的磷水平小于或等于约0.07wt%,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量,例如磷水平是约0.01wt%至约0.07wt%。在一种实施方案中,本发明的润滑油组合物中的磷水平小于或等于约0.05wt%,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量,例如磷水平是约0.01wt%至约0.05wt%。

合适地,本发明的润滑油组合物可以具有4-15mg KOH/g(例如5-12mg KOH/g、6-12mg KOH/g、或8-12mg KOH/g)的总碱值(TBN)。
粘度改性剂
粘度改性剂(VM)或粘度指数改进剂(VII)可以用于润滑剂中以赋予高温和低温操作性。VM可以用于赋予唯一功能或可以是多功能的。多功能粘度改性剂还提供了用于分散剂功能的额外的功能性。粘度改性剂和分散剂粘度改性剂的实例是聚甲基丙烯酸酯,聚丙烯酸酯,聚烯烃,苯乙烯-马来酸酯共聚物和类似的聚合物物质,包括均聚物、共聚物和接枝共聚物。
在一种实施方案中,VII可以以基于该润滑油组合物0.001-10wt%存在于润滑油组合物中。在其他实施方案中,VII可以以该润滑油组合物的0.01-8wt%、0.01-5wt%、0.01-4wt%、0.01-3wt%、0.01-2.5wt%、0.1-2.5wt%存在。
在本公开内容中特别有用的是分散剂聚甲基丙烯酸酯VII和乙烯基非分散剂VII的组合。
分散剂聚甲基丙烯酸酯(DPMA)VII
在一种实施方案中,分散剂PMA具有200000g/mol-450000g/mol、200000g/mol-400000g/mol、200000g/mol-350000g/mol、或200000g/mol-300000g/mol的重均分子量。
用于本发明的分散剂聚甲基丙烯酸酯(DPMA)粘度指数改性剂可以如以下所述,和如在WO 2013/182581中所述,其公开内容结合至本文。该定义中的化合物将包括粘度指数改进剂6-054、6-565、6-850、6-950和6-954,所有都从德国Darmstadt的Evonik RohMax Additives GmbH可获得。
该聚(甲基)丙烯酸烷基酯包含以下的单体单元:

据信用于本发明的DPMA含有约1-10wt%的甲基丙烯酸甲酯单体,约0.5-3wt%的N-乙烯基吡咯烷酮作为含氮单体,和余量的甲基丙烯酸长链烷基酯单体、特别是甲基丙烯酸月桂基酯,并且具有200000-250000的MW。它具有约40至约50的SSI。
非分散剂乙烯基烯烃共聚物(OCP)VII
在一种实施方案中,非分散剂乙烯基烯烃共聚物VII具有50000g/mol至约150000g/mol、约60000g/mol至约120000g/mol、或约70000g/mol至约110000g/mol的重均分子量。
用于本发明的乙烯基粘度指数改性剂可以如下所述,和如US20130203640中所述,其公开内容结合至本文。
在一种实施方案中,该乙烯基VII是乙烯丙烯共聚物。
在一种实施方案中,该聚合物组合物典型地含有约30wt%至约70wt%的第一乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物(a)和约70wt%至约30wt%的第二乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物(b),基于该组合物的(a)和(b)的总量。在另一实施方案中,该聚合物组合物典型的含有约40wt%至约60wt%的第一乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物(a)和约60wt%至约40wt%的第二乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物(b),基于该组合物的(a)和(b)的总量。在一种特定的实施方案中,该聚合物组合物含有约50至约54wt%的第一乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物(a)和约46至约50wt%的第二乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物(b),基于该组合物的(a)和(b)的总量。
在一种实施方案中的第一乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物的重均分子量典型地为约60000g/mol至约120000g/mol。在另一实施方案中,第一乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物的重均分子量典型地为约70000g/mol至约110000g/mol。在一种实施方案中的第二乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物的重均分子量典型地为约60000g/mol至约120000g/mol。在另一实施方案中,第二乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物的重均分子量典型地为约70000g/mol至约110000g/mol。在一种实施方案中的第一乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物和第二乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物的组合物的重均分子量典型地为约60000g/mol至约120000g/mol。在另一实施方案中,第一乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物和第二乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物的组合物的重均分子量典型地为约70000g/mol至约110000g/mol。在再另一实施方案中,第一乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物和第二乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物的组合物的重均分子量典型地为约80000至约100000g/mol。每个乙烯-α-烯烃共聚物的分子量分布典型地小于约2.5,和更典型地为约2.1至约2.4。通过GPC测定的聚合物分布典型地为单峰。
在一种实施方案中,该聚合物组合物典型地具有约40wt%至约70wt%、或约50wt%至约70wt%的总乙烯含量。在另一实施方案中,该聚合物组合物典型地具有约55wt%至约65wt%的总乙烯含量。在其他实施方案中,该聚合物组合物具有约57wt%至约63wt%的总乙烯含量。
水杨酸盐清净剂
水杨酸盐可以通过使碱性金属化合物与至少一种羧酸反应,并且从反应产物中移除水来制备。由水杨酸制造的清净剂是一类由羧酸制备的清净剂。有用的水杨酸盐包括长链烷基水杨酸盐。一种有用的组合物族具有以下结构(5):
其中R”是C1-C30(例如C13-C30)烷基;n是1-4的整数;和M是碱土金属(例如Ca或Mg)。
烃基取代的水杨酸可以由酚通过Kolbe反应来制备(参见美国专利号3595791)。烃基取代的水杨酸的金属盐可以通过金属盐在极性溶剂如水或醇中的复分解来制备。
在本公开内容的一方面,水杨酸盐得自C10-C40异构化的NAO,并且由具有得自异构化的NAO的烷基的烷基酚来制造,该异构化的NAO具有的异构化水平为(i)约0.10至约0.40、优选约0.10至约0.35、优选约0.10至约0.30和更优选约0.12至约0.30。
一种典型的清净剂是阴离子材料,其含有分子的长链疏水性部分和分子的较小的阴离子或疏油亲水性部分。清净剂的阴离子部分典型地得自有机酸如硫酸、羧酸、磷酸、酚或其混合物。抗衡离子典型地为碱土金属或碱金属。
含有基本上化学计量量的金属的盐被描述为中性盐,并且总碱值(TBN)是0-80mgKOH/g。许多组合物是过碱性的,其含有大量的金属碱(metal base),该金属碱通过使富含酸性气体(例如二氧化碳)的过量的金属化合物(例如金属氢氧化物或氧化物)反应来实现。有用的清净剂可以是中性、轻微过碱性或高度过碱性的。
令人期望的是清净剂混合物中所用的至少一些清净剂是过碱性的。过碱性清净剂有助于中和由燃烧过程产生的酸性杂质,并且变成捕集在油中。典型地,过碱性材料具有以当量计是1.05:1-50:1(例如4:1-25:1)的清净剂的金属离子与阴离子部分的比。所形成的清净剂是过碱性清净剂,其将典型地具有150mg KOH/g或更高(例如250-450mg KOH/g或更大)的TBN。可以使用具有不同的TBN的清净剂的混合物。
合适的清净剂包括磺酸盐、酚盐、羧酸盐、磷酸盐和水杨酸盐的金属盐。
磺酸盐可以由磺酸制备,其典型的通过烷基取代的芳烃如由石油的分馏获得的那些或通过芳烃的烷基化获得的那些的磺化来获得。实例包括通过烷基化苯、甲苯、二甲苯、萘、联苯或它们的卤素衍生物而获得的那些。烷基化可以在催化剂和具有约3到大于70个碳原子的烷基化剂的存在下进行。烷芳基磺酸盐通常每个烷基取代的芳族结构部分含有约9-80个或更多个碳原子(例如约16-60个碳原子)。
酚盐可以通过使碱土金属氢氧化物或氧化物(例如CaO、Ca(OH)2、MgO或Mg(OH)2)与烷基酚或硫化的烷基酚反应来制备。有用的烷基包括直链或支链C1-C30(例如C4-C20)烷基或其混合物。合适的酚的实例包括异丁基酚、2-乙基己基酚、壬基酚、十二烷基酚等。应当注意的是起始的烷基酚可以含有大于一个烷基取代基,所述烷基取代基各自独立地是直链或支链的。当使用非硫化的烷基酚时,该硫化产物可以通过本领域公知的方法来获得。这些方法包括加热烷基酚和硫化剂(例如元素硫、硫卤化物如二氯化硫等)的混合物,和然后使硫化酚与碱土金属碱反应。
镁清净剂
优选的含镁清净剂包括磺酸镁、苯酚镁和水杨酸镁,尤其是磺酸镁和水杨酸镁。它们可以如上所述。
含镁清净剂可以以如下这样的量使用,该量向该润滑油组合物提供至少200ppm-1000ppm、240ppm-1000ppm、240-900ppm、240-840ppm、240-800ppm、250-800ppm、300-1000ppm、300-800ppm、400-1000ppm、或400-800ppm)重量的镁。
基本上没有钼成分
在一种实施方案中,本发明的润滑油组合物中含钼成分的水平小于或等于约60ppm,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量,例如含钼成分的水平是约0.01至约60ppm。在一种实施方案中,本发明的润滑油组合物中含钼成分的水平小于或等于约40ppm,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量,例如含钼成分的水平是约0.01至约40ppm。在一种实施方案中,本发明的润滑油组合物中含钼成分的水平小于或等于约25ppm,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量,例如含钼成分的水平是约0.01至约25ppm。在一种实施方案中,本发明的润滑油组合物中含钼成分的水平小于或等于约15ppm,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量,例如含钼成分的水平是约0.01至约15ppm。在一种实施方案中,本发明的润滑油组合物中含钼成分的水平小于或等于约10ppm,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量,例如含钼成分的水平是约0.01至约10ppm。在一种实施方案中,本发明的润滑油组合物中含钼成分的水平小于或等于约5ppm,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量,例如含钼成分的水平是约0.01至约5ppm。
在其他实施方案中,该润滑油组合物基本上没有含钼成分。在一些实施方案中,基本上没有含钼成分表示含钼成分以小于10、小于9、小于8、小于7、小于6、小于5、小于4、小于3、小于2、小于1、小于0.5、小于0.1ppm存在。
其他润滑油添加剂
除了本文所述的添加剂化合物之外,该润滑油组合物可以包含额外的润滑油添加剂。

本发明的润滑油组合物可以含有一种或多种可以减少摩擦和过度磨损的抗磨剂。本领域普通技术人员已知的任何抗磨剂可以用于该润滑油组合物中。合适的抗磨剂的非限定性实例包括二硫代磷酸锌,二硫代磷酸酯的金属(例如Pb、Sb、Mo等)盐,二硫代氨基甲酸酯的金属(例如Zn、Pb、Sb、Mo等)盐,脂肪酸的金属(例如Zn、Pb、Sb等)盐,硼化合物,磷酸酯,亚磷酸酯,磷酸酯或硫代磷酸酯的胺盐,二环戊二烯和硫代磷酸的反应产物及其组合。抗磨剂的量可以在约0.01wt%至约5wt%、约0.05wt%至约3wt%、或约0.1wt%至约1wt%变化,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量。
在某些实施方案中,抗磨剂是或包含二烃基二硫代磷酸酯金属盐如二烷基二硫代磷酸锌化合物。二烃基二硫代磷酸酯金属盐的金属可以是碱金属或碱土金属,或铝,铅,锡,钼,锰,镍或铜。在一些实施方案中,金属是锌。在其他实施方案中,二烃基二硫代磷酸酯金属盐的烷基具有约3至约22个碳原子、约3至约18个碳原子、约3至约12个碳原子、或约3至约8个碳原子。在另一实施方案中,烷基是线性或支化的。
二烃基二硫代磷酸酯金属盐(包括本文公开的润滑油组合物中的二烷基二硫代磷酸锌)的量通过其磷含量来测量。在一些实施方案中,本文公开的润滑油组合物的磷含量是约0.01wt%至约0.14wt%,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量。
本发明的润滑油组合物可以含有一种或多种可以降低移动部件之间的摩擦的摩擦改性剂。本领域普通技术人员已知的任何摩擦改性剂可以用于该润滑油组合物中。合适的摩擦改性剂的非限定性实例包括脂肪羧酸;脂肪羧酸的衍生物(例如醇、酯、硼酸化酯、酰胺、金属盐等);单-、二-或三-烷基取代的磷酸或膦酸;单-、二-或三-烷基取代的磷酸或膦酸的衍生物(例如酯、酰胺、金属盐等);单-、二-或三-烷基取代的胺;单-或二-烷基取代的酰胺及其组合。在一些实施方案中,摩擦改性剂的实例包括但不限于烷氧基化的脂肪胺;硼酸化脂肪环氧化物;脂肪亚磷酸酯,脂肪环氧化物,脂肪胺,硼酸化烷氧基化的脂肪胺,脂肪酸的金属盐,脂肪酸酰胺,甘油酯,硼酸化甘油酯;和脂肪咪唑啉,如美国专利号6372696中所公开的,其内容通过引用结合至本文;获自C4-C75、或C6-C24、或C6-C20脂肪酸酯和含氮化合物的反应产物的摩擦改性剂,该含氮化合物选自氨和烷醇胺等,及其混合物。摩擦改性剂的量可以在约0.01wt%至约10wt%、约0.05wt%至约5wt%、或约0.1wt%至约3wt%变化,基于该润滑油组合物的总重量。
本发明的润滑油组合物优选含有0.01-5wt%、优选0.1-3wt%量的有机氧化抑制剂。该氧化抑制剂可以是受阻酚氧化抑制剂或二芳基胺氧化抑制剂。该二芳基胺氧化抑制剂的优点在于产生来源于氮原子的碱值。该受阻酚氧化抑制剂的优点在于不产生NOx气体。
受阻酚氧化抑制剂的实例包括2,6-二叔丁基-对甲酚、4,4′-亚甲基双(2,6-二叔丁基苯酚)、4,4′-亚甲基双(6-叔丁基邻甲酚)、4,4′-异亚丙基双(2,6-二叔丁基苯酚)、4,4′-双(2,6-二叔丁基苯酚)、2,2′-亚甲基双(4-甲基-6-叔丁基酚)、4,4′-硫代双(2-甲基-6-叔丁基酚)、2,2-硫代二亚乙基双[3-(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯基)丙酸酯]、3-(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯基)丙酸辛酯、3-(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯基)丙酸十八烷基酯和3-(3,54-丁基-4-羟基-3-甲基苯基)丙酸辛酯以及商业产品例如但不限于Irganox(BASF)、Naugalube(Chemtura)和Ethanox(SI Group)。
二芳基胺氧化抑制剂的实例包括具有4-9个碳原子的烷基的混合物的烷基二苯基胺、p,p′-二辛基二苯基胺、苯基-萘基胺、苯基-萘基胺、烷基化的萘基胺、和烷基化的苯基-萘基胺。
受阻酚氧化抑制剂和二芳基胺氧化抑制剂中的每个可以单独使用或组合使用。如果期望的话,则其他油可溶性氧化。
在润滑油配制剂的制备中,常见的做法是引入为在烃油如矿物润滑油或其他合适的溶剂中的10-80wt%活性成分浓缩物的形式的添加剂。
通常这些浓缩物在形成最终的润滑剂如曲柄箱发动机油中,可以用每重量份添加剂包3-100、例如5-40重量份的润滑油来稀释。当然,浓缩物的目的是使得处置各种材料不太困难和费劲以及促进在最终混合物中的溶解或分散。
制备润滑油组合物的工艺
本文公开的润滑油组合物可以通过制造润滑油领域的普通技术人员已知的任何方法来制备。在一些实施方案中,基础油可以与本文所述的含锆的化合物共混或混合。任选地,可以加入一种或多种其他的。可以将添加剂单独或同时加入至基础油。在一些实施方案中,在一次或多次添加中将添加剂单独加入至基础油,并且所述添加可以是任何次序。在其他实施方案中,将添加剂同时加入至基础油,任选地呈添加剂浓缩物的形式。在一些实施方案中,添加剂在基础油中的溶解可以通过将混合物加热到约25℃至约200℃、约50℃至约150℃或约75℃至约125℃的温度来辅助。
本领域普通技术人员已知的任何混合或分散装置可以用于共混、混合或溶解所述成分。共混、混合或溶解可以用共混器、搅拌器、分散机、混合器(例如行星混合器和双行星混合器)、匀化器(例如Gaulin匀化器和Rannie匀化器)、磨机(例如胶体磨机、球磨机和砂磨机)或本领域已知的任何其他混合或分散装置来进行。
润滑油组合物的应用
本文公开的润滑油组合物可以适合于作为车用机油(即,发动机油或曲柄箱油)用于火花点火内燃机,特别是直喷式和增压式发动机。
提出以下实施例来示例本发明的实施方案,但是并非意图将本发明限制到所述的具体实施方案。除非有相反指示,否则所有的份数和百分比以重量计。所有数值是近似的。当给出数字范围时,应当理解所述范围之外的实施方案可以仍然落入本发明的范围内。在每个实施例中描述的具体细节不应当解释为是本发明的必需的特征。
实施例
以下实施例仅为了示例性目的,并且并非以任何方式限制本发明的范围。
实施例1
润滑油组合物通过将以下组分共混在一起来获得SAE0W-20粘度等级的无钼配制剂来制备:
(a)以磷含量计为740ppm的仲二烷基二硫代磷酸锌;
(b)以钙含量计为1120ppm,大部分来自C14-C18正α烯烃衍生的过碱性水杨酸钙,和少量来自低过碱性磺酸钙清净剂;
(c)以镁含量计为240ppm的高度过碱性磺酸镁清净剂;
(d)经碳酸乙烯酯处理的和硼酸化的琥珀酰亚胺分散剂;
(e)烷基化的二苯基胺抗氧化剂,受阻酚抗氧化剂;
(f)常规量的降凝剂,
(g)以下粘度指数改进剂的组合:0.70wt%的聚合物浓缩物,该浓缩物含有乙烯丙烯衍生的非分散剂OCP(乙烯丙烯基共聚物,具有55-65%的乙烯,重均分子量是80000至约100000g/mol,和SSI是约20至约26);和1.50wt%的聚合物浓缩物,该浓缩物含有分散剂类型PMA(1-10wt%甲基丙烯酸甲酯单体,约0.5-3wt%的N-乙烯基吡咯烷酮作为含氮单体,和余量的甲基丙烯酸长链烷基酯单体,特别是甲基丙烯酸月桂基酯,并且MW是200000-250000。其SSI是约40至约50。
(h)
(i)额外的添加剂,其包括有机摩擦改性剂、曼尼希反应产物,腐蚀抑制剂,标记剂,oam抑制剂;和
(j)余量的III类和IV类PAO基础油的混合物。
实施例2
重复实施例1,除了水杨酸钙得自C20-C24异构化的正α烯烃,并且α烯烃的异构化水平是约0.16。添加剂含有6.4wt%的Ca和约20wt%的稀释剂油,并且具有约180mg KOH/g的TBN和约2.4的碱度指数。基于活性物,该添加剂的TBN是约225mg KOH/g。
异构化水平通过NMR方法测量。
异构化水平(I)和NMR方法
烯烃的异构化水平(I)通过氢-1(1H)NMR测定。NMR光谱在Bruker UltrashieldPlus 400上,在氯仿-d1中在400MHz下使用TopSpin 3.2光谱处理软件来获得。
异构化水平(I)表示连接至亚甲基主链基团(-CH2-)(化学位移1.01-1.38ppm)的甲基(-CH3)(化学位移0.30-1.01ppm)的相对量,并且通过下面所示的式(6)来定义:

其中m是化学位移在0.30±0.03到1.01±0.03ppm之间的甲基的NMR积分,并且n是化学位移在1.01±0.03到1.38±0.10ppm之间的亚甲基的NMR积分。
实施例3

测试
表2中给出了配制剂的性能评价。进行以下基准测试来测量磨损:FZG WearScuffing Load Carrying Capacity测试。为了评价汽车发动机油的磨损性能,在FZG测试索(FZG正方形测试机)上使用A10齿轮根据CEC-L-84-A-02评价具有不同化学的各种发动机油的承载特性。该方法可用于评价许多车辆和固定应用中发现的,典型地与高应力圆柱齿轮装置一起使用的油的擦伤负荷能力潜力。对于A10齿轮,在16.6m/s和130℃下的最小负荷级失效是8。

Claims (18)
1.一种润滑油组合物,其在150℃的HTHS粘度是约1.3至约2.9cP,该组合物包含:
a)主要量的润滑粘度的油,其在100℃的运动粘度是1.5-6.0mm2/s;
b)分散剂聚甲基丙烯酸酯(DPMA)VII,其Mw是200000g/mol-450000g/mol;
c)非分散剂乙烯基烯烃共聚物粘度指数改进剂,其Mw是50000g/mol-150000g/mol和总乙烯含量是约30wt%至约70wt%;
d)约200至约1000ppm的来自含镁清净剂的镁;和
其中该润滑油组合物基本上没有含钼成分。
2.根据权利要求1所述的润滑油组合物,其进一步包含1-10wt%的酯基础油。
3.根据权利要求1所述的润滑油组合物,其中该含镁清净剂是得自C20-C24异构化的正α烯烃的水杨酸镁。
4.根据权利要求1所述的润滑油组合物,其中该非分散剂乙烯基烯烃共聚物粘度指数改进剂具有约55-65wt%的总乙烯含量。
5.根据权利要求1所述的润滑油组合物,其中该非分散剂乙烯基烯烃共聚物粘度指数改进剂具有70000g/mol-110000g/mol的Mw。
6.根据权利要求1所述的润滑油组合物,其中该分散剂聚甲基丙烯酸酯(DPMA)VII具有200000g/mol-300000g/mol的Mw。
7.根据权利要求1所述的润滑油组合物,其中该分散剂聚甲基丙烯酸酯VII包含以下的单体单元:
(a)0-40重量%的一种或多种式(I)的烯属不饱和酯化合物:
其中R是氢或甲基,R1是具有1-5个碳原子的饱和或不饱和的线性或支化的烷基或具有3-5个碳原子的饱和或不饱和的环烷基,R2和R3各自独立地是氢或式-COOR’的基团,其中R’是氢或具有1-5个碳原子的饱和或不饱和的线性或支化的烷基;
(b)10-98重量%、优选20-95重量%的一种或多种式(II)的烯属不饱和酯化合物:

9.根据权利要求1所述的润滑油组合物,其中该来自含镁清净剂的镁为约200至约850ppm。
10.一种在内燃机中改善摩擦和减少磨损的方法,包括用在150℃的HTHS粘度是约1.3至约2.9cP的润滑油组合物来润滑所述发动机,该润滑油组合物包含:
a)主要量的润滑粘度的油,其在100℃的运动粘度是1.5-6.0mm2/s;
b)分散剂聚甲基丙烯酸酯(DPMA)VII,其Mw是200000g/mol-450000g/mol;
c)非分散剂乙烯基烯烃共聚物粘度指数改进剂,其Mw是50000g/mol-150000g/mol和总乙烯含量是约30wt%至约70wt%;
