In the specific working process, the light guide element 42 can be switched between a transparent state and a fog state by applying voltages with different magnitudes to the light guide element 42, when the light guide element is in the fog state, the first color light source 41 is turned on, light entering through the side of the light guide element 42 can be scattered, backlight light can be provided for a light transmission area above the light guide element, the light transmission area can also display normally at the moment, the functional module is arranged below the light transmission area, and the backlight brightness and the scattering intensity of the light guide element 42 can be controlled by the voltages of the first color light source 41 and the light guide element 42 respectively. When the light guide element 42 is switched to the transparent state, the first color light source 41 is turned off, and at this time, the external light passes through the light transmission region and enters the functional module, and the functional module can normally operate.
In this driving method, the refresh rate of the first color light source 41 and the refresh rate of the second color light source 15 are synchronized with the refresh rate of the liquid crystal display panel 20, so that normal screen display can be performed. Therefore, the first color light source 41 and the second color light source 15 are driven in synchronization, and driving signals of both may be provided through the FPC or the main board.
When the function module is turned on, the first color light source 41 is in an off state and the light guide element 41 is in a transparent state, and when the function module is turned off, the first color light source 41 is in an on state and the light guide element 41 is in a fog state, so as to scatter light.
Because the field sequential light source is arranged in the light transmission area, the picture display of the light transmission area can be realized through the field sequential light source when the functional module does not work, and the display effect is improved. In addition, since the color resistance layer is not arranged in the display panel of the light-transmitting area, the aperture ratio and the transmittance of the light-transmitting area are improved.
Referring to fig. 3 and 4, fig. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of a liquid crystal display device according to another embodiment of the present application.
As shown in fig. 3, the liquid crystal display device of the present embodiment is different from the first embodiment in that: the first color light source 41 of the present embodiment is an oled tri-color light source, which may include a red light, a green light and a blue light.

the reflector 11 comprises an inward extending portion 113, the inward extending portion 113 is located in the light-transmitting region 101, and the inward extending portion 113 is disposed at two sides of the second sub-hole 142; the first color light source 41 is arranged on the inward extending part 113; the light guide element 42 is disposed on the first color light source 41. Referring to fig. 4, in a top view, the first color light source 41 is disposed at the periphery of the first sub-aperture 142, or surrounds the periphery of the first sub-aperture 142.
In one embodiment, in order to reduce interference of the light guide element with the functional module, the light shielding plate 30 covers an inner sidewall of the first sub-hole 141, and the light guide element 42 also covers an end portion of the inward extending portion 113 near the second sub-hole 142.
In another embodiment, the liquid crystal display device of the present embodiment is different from the second embodiment in that: the second color light source 15 is an organic light emitting diode three-color light source, and the second color light source 15 is disposed on the reflective sheet 11.
The same data is sent in the display area except the light transmission area 101 within 3 frames, and the picture is kept; the light-transmitting area 101 sequentially lights the red light, the green light and the blue light in 3 frames to display 3 colors of R ', G' and B ', and data R' G 'B' in the three-frame area are overlapped to form a complete picture for display through the short stay of human vision.
The frame refresh frequency of the image data unit is, for example, 120Hz, that is, the display area synchronously sends RGB data with a period of 8.33ms, but the RGB data sent every three frames are the same, the light-transmitting area 101 cyclically lights the lamps of each color of the three-color lamps with a period of 8.33ms to display three colors of R ', G', and B ', that is, three colors of red, green, and blue, the R' G 'B' data are superimposed to realize the display of the picture by the short stay of human vision, the image superimposition needs 25ms, which is equivalent to updating a complete picture in three frames, wherein the frame refresh rate is not limited to 120 Hz.
Because set up organic emitting diode three-colour light source in the printing opacity region, therefore can realize the regional picture display of printing opacity through controlling three-colour light source when functional module is out of work, improved display effect.
The operation principle of this embodiment is the same as that of the first embodiment.
