In an embodiment in accordance with the invention, the computing device 100 is configured to perform a message display method 200 in accordance with the invention. Among other things, application 122 of computing device 100 contains a plurality of program instructions that implement message display method 200 in accordance with the present invention.
Fig. 2 shows a flow diagram of a message display method 200 according to one embodiment of the invention. It should be noted that in the embodiment according to the present invention, one or more applications that can trigger the pop-up of a message reside in the computing device 100, and the one or more applications can trigger the pop-up of multiple types of messages. Moreover, a plurality of message managers are pre-configured in the computing device 100, and each message manager corresponds to one message type and a corresponding message popup template. It should be noted here that the message managers use the singleton model, that is, each message manager is adapted to create a unique instance and provide this instance for all objects. Thus, each message manager can only create a unique message popup template and provide this one message popup template for all messages of the corresponding type to be generated, i.e., the message manager for each message type provides the same message popup template to create multiple messages. In this way, when multiple applications in the computing device trigger the popping of multiple messages, all message pops of the same type are created and generated based on the same message popup template, so that the style of all message pops of the same type can be guaranteed to be uniform.
As shown in fig. 2, the method 200 begins at step S210.
In step S210, a message display request sent by one or more applications is received, where the message display request includes a message type and a message content corresponding to a message requested to be displayed. Here, the message requested for display is adapted to be presented on the screen of the computing device in the form of a message pop including the corresponding message content, such that the message content is presented to the client user through the message pop. The message content includes one or more of corresponding application identification, text content and storage information, for example.
In some embodiments, an application may be triggered to send a message display request to the computing device 100 to request the computing device 100 (to send a corresponding instruction to the operating system) to pop up a corresponding message popup to display message content on a screen of the computing device and present the message content to a client user during execution of a task, for example, when a corresponding task is executed in response to an operation of the user, when execution progress needs to be presented to the user during execution of the task, or when execution results need to be presented to the user when execution of the task is completed.
In one embodiment, computing device 100 (operating system) first receives an operation event of the application by the user before the application sends a message display request to computing device 100 in response to the user's operation. The computing device 100 will add the user's operational events to the application to the message queue, it being understood that multiple operational events of the user to multiple applications may be included in the message queue, and the multiple operational events are arranged in the message queue based on the order of addition. Further, the computing device 100 successively acquires the operation events from the message queue and transmits each acquired operation event to the corresponding application to instruct the application to transmit a corresponding message display request to the computing device 100 according to the operation event of the user.
It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the specific embodiment in which the above-described application triggers the message display request in response to the user's operation. In addition, in other embodiments, when the application receives an indication of the server and needs to prompt the user with a corresponding message according to the indication of the server, the application may also be triggered to send a message display request to request the computing device to pop up a corresponding message popup window, so as to display the message content on the screen of the computing device and display the message content to the client user.
Subsequently, in step S220, the computing device 100 determines a message manager corresponding to the message type in the message display request, and acquires a corresponding message popup template.
Subsequently, in step S230, the computing device 100 generates a corresponding message popup based on the message popup template and the message content in the message display request. Here, the style of the generated message popup is determined based on a message popup template, in which, for example, style information of the message popup, including, for example, information of shape, size, color, and the like, and style information of each icon in the popup are included.
Finally, in step S240, the message popup is controlled to be displayed on the screen of the computing device 100 based on the message manager corresponding to the message type. That is, after determining the type of the message to be displayed according to the message display request of the application, the message manager corresponding to the message type controls the display of the message popup. Thus, according to the method 200 of the present invention, the display of the message popup corresponding to each application is controlled by the message manager corresponding to the message type, which enables the management and control of the display of all the message pops of the corresponding type by each message manager.
According to one embodiment, the message types comprise a timing display message and a continuous display message, and the timing display message and the continuous display message respectively correspond to different message managers. It should be noted that the application may determine the type of the message according to the display requirement of the message (i.e., the display requirement is the way of presenting the message to the user), and send a message display request to the computing device, requesting the computing device to display the message based on the corresponding message type.
After determining the message manager corresponding to the message type and generating the corresponding message popup, the message manager corresponding to the message type may specifically control the message popup to be displayed on the screen of the computing device according to the following method:
if the type of the message requested to be displayed is a time display message, the message manager corresponding to the time display message determines the display time corresponding to the message popup when controlling the display of the message popup, and displays the message popup on the screen of the computing device 100. And after waiting for the corresponding display time, the message manager controls to close the message popup. Here, the display time is, for example, 2s to 5 s. However, it should be noted that the display time of the timing display message is not specifically limited by the present invention, and the display time can be set by those skilled in the art according to the actual requirement. In one embodiment, the timed display message includes, for example, a message that only needs to briefly prompt the user for the execution status of the application, including the saved status of the text editor.
If the message type requested to be displayed is a continuous display message, the message manager corresponding to the continuous display message monitors the closing operation of the message popup by the user when controlling the message popup to be displayed. And when receiving the closing operation of the user to the message popup, controlling to close the message popup. In one embodiment, the continuously displayed messages include, but are not limited to, voice prompt messages, video call prompt messages, and other messages requiring user action.
According to one embodiment, a closing button is included on a message popup corresponding to a continuously displayed message, and a message manager determines whether a closing operation of a user on the message popup is received by judging whether an event that the user clicks the closing button is received or not when monitoring the closing operation of the user on the message popup. Specifically, if an event that a user clicks a close button is received, closing a message popup is controlled; and if the event that the user clicks a close button is not received, continuing to display the message popup.
Thus, according to the technical scheme of the invention, the application can determine the type of the message according to the display requirement of the message and request the computing equipment to display the message based on the message type, so that the display of the message popup window can be controlled based on the display requirement of the message. Specifically, when the message needs to be displayed at regular time, the message manager corresponding to the message displayed at regular time can control the corresponding message popup to be displayed at regular time, so that the message popup can be automatically closed after the message is presented to the user; when the message needs to be continuously displayed, the message manager corresponding to the continuously displayed message can control the corresponding message popup to be continuously displayed, and the popup cannot be closed until the user triggers the closing of the message popup.
According to one embodiment, the message manager may control one or more message popwindows corresponding to respective message types to be displayed based on the generation time. Here, each type of message popup is controlled to be displayed in a superimposed manner in the order of generation time, and a later generated message popup is displayed in a superimposed manner on a previously generated message popup.
According to an embodiment, in the message display method 200 according to the present invention, the number of message pops corresponding to each message type currently displayed on the screen may also be determined by the message manager, so as to determine whether the number of message pops corresponding to each message type exceeds a threshold. And if the number of the message popwindows corresponding to one message type exceeds the threshold value, closing the predetermined number of message popwindows with the earliest generation time in all the message popwindows corresponding to the message type. Here, the present invention does not limit the specific value of the threshold. For example, the threshold may be 3, so that when the number of message pops of the same message type exceeds 3, the predetermined number of message pops with the earliest generation time is controlled to be closed.
It should be noted that, in all the message popwindows corresponding to the same message type, the message popwindow with the earlier generation time is the message with the lowest user concern relatively, and by closing the predetermined number of message popwindows with the earliest generation time, it is possible to avoid that a plurality of messages of the same type are stacked together to occupy more resource space and affect the look-up effect and the use experience of the user.
In addition, in the message display method 200 according to the present invention, while controlling the message popup to be displayed on the screen of the computing device, it is also possible to determine the type of the message popup and control the display position of the message popup according to the type of the message popup. Here, the message popup type includes an application interface popup, i.e., a popup suitable for being displayed superimposed on an application interface, and a desktop popup, i.e., a popup suitable for being displayed on a desktop.
According to one embodiment, if the type of the message popup is an application interface popup, the message popup is controlled to be displayed at the bottom of the corresponding application interface. And if the type of the message popup is the desktop popup, controlling the message popup to be displayed at the top of the desktop. Here, it should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the specific position of the application interface popup displayed on the application interface, nor is the specific position of the desktop popup displayed on the desktop, which can be set by a person skilled in the art according to the actual situation.
According to the message display method, the message managers respectively corresponding to the message types are configured in the computing equipment, and the message managers adopt the singleton mode, so that the message managers corresponding to the message types can be ensured to provide the same message popup template to create a plurality of messages. In this way, when multiple applications in the computing device trigger the popping of multiple messages, since all message pops of the same type are generated based on the same message popup template, the style of all message pops of the same type can be unified. Therefore, according to the technical scheme of the invention, the styles of the plurality of message popup windows of the corresponding message types can be uniformly controlled and managed based on the message manager, so that the unification of the styles of the message popup windows of each type can be realized, and the unification of the overall styles of various application interfaces on a desktop can be realized by setting the style of the message popup window corresponding to each message type to be consistent with the style of an operating system.
In addition, the display of each message popup in the computing device is also controlled by a message manager corresponding to the message type, with each message manager being responsible for managing and controlling the display of all message pops of the respective type. In this way, not only is unified management of each type of message popup facilitated, but also control of message popup display timing or continuous display based on display requirements of the message can be achieved.
