Abstract
The invention discloses a plant essential oil composition and application thereof, and relates to the field of mosquito repelling. The plant essential oil composition disclosed by the invention comprises 10-30 parts of seed oil of bitter oil trees, 15-40 parts of eucalyptus citriodora leaf oil, 5-25 parts of thyme essential oil, 10-30 parts of achillea essential oil and 10-30 parts of geranium essential oil. The plant essential oil composition is natural and non-irritant, can effectively repel the mosquito-repellent incense and the mites when being applied to spray, has a good bacteriostatic and itching-relieving effect, is safe and non-irritant to the skin, and has good temperature resistance.

The mixture ratio of the plant composition in examples 1 to 3 and comparative examples 1 to 5 is shown in table 1, and the spray comprises the following components in parts by weight: 6 parts of plant essential oil composition, 21 parts of ethanol, 8.1 parts of PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, 8.78 parts of polyurethane-350.35 parts of phenoxyethanol, 0.63 part of ethylhexyl glycerol and water until the weight is 100 parts.
In the sprays of examples 4 to 5 and comparative examples 6 to 7, the mass percent of phenoxyethanol, the mass percent of ethylhexyl glycerin and the mass percent of plant essential oil composition were 0.63%, 0.07% and 6%, respectively; the plant essential oil composition comprises the following components in parts by weight: 20 parts of balsam seed oil, 25 parts of lemon eucalyptus oil, 15 parts of thyme essential oil, 20 parts of milfoil essential oil and 20 parts of geranium essential oil; the remaining ingredients are shown in table 2.
The preparation methods of examples 1 to 5 and comparative examples 1 to 7 are as follows:
(1) mixing plant essential oil composition, alcohol and PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, stirring and dissolving to transparent state to obtain solution A;
(2) after the step (1) is finished, adding water into the solution A to obtain a solution B;
(3) and (3) after the step (2) is finished, adding polyurethane-35, phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin into the solution B, and uniformly stirring to obtain spray water.

Performance testing

2. Antipruritic test
Mice were randomly divided into 9 groups, and the right hind paw of the mice was smeared with the examples 1 to 3, comparative examples 1 to 5, and blank control group at a dose of 10g/kg, and the blank control group was smeared with the same amount of distilled water. 5. Mite killing test: reference to NY/T1151.2-2006 standard for mite extermination and mite repellent testing
For each set of samples, 4 dishes were taken, of which 3 were added 10g of the sample to be tested. The other dish was not filled with the test agent as a control.
