6. A plank block as claimed in claim 3 wherein the plank block is being assembled and the locking means is used to lock the mounting portions of the corners of four plank blocks.

14. The latch of claim 12 wherein said latch has a rectangular, circular, arrowhead, diamond or star cross-section.
15. A plank assembly comprising a plank as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 11 and a locking member for locking the plank together.
