Abstract
一种橡胶层叠金属用NBR组合物,其中,相对于100重量份NBR,配合有硫1~3重量份以及由通式RN‑S‑S‑NR(其中,RN是与键合于S原子的N原子一同形成的环状连接基团)表示的4,4’‑二硫代二吗啉、二硫代二己内酰胺等二硫醚化合物1~15重量份。此橡胶层叠金属用NBR组合物在制成橡胶层叠金属板、例如制成制动垫片材料(所述制动垫片材料是通过将该橡胶层叠金属板与垫片或者其它金属板进行层叠而得到的层叠复合金属)进行使用时,可改善橡胶层的挤出性。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及橡胶层叠金属用NBR组合物。更详细而言,涉及形成制动垫片(brakeshim)材料等的橡胶层的橡胶层叠金属用NBR组合物。
背景技术
关于通过在金属板的单面或者双面层叠NBR或者氢化NBR而得到的橡胶层叠金属垫片(gasket),由于紧固在金属之间使用,因而对橡胶层表面施加强的压缩应力。如果橡胶无法耐受此紧固应力而发生变形,则无法实现作为目的的密封功能。
一般而言,为了改善挤出性,实行通过配合炭黑、二氧化硅等填充剂而提高硬度的方法,但是因橡胶硬度升高,而出现混炼加工性恶化、密封性降低等。另外,即使通过增加作为硫化剂的硫的配合量而提高交联密度,也看不到大的改善效果。
专利文献1中记载了一种储气罐(gas holder)密封材料用耐热性NBR组合物,其中,相对于(A)橡胶成分(包含70重量%以上的NBR并且AN含量为25~50重量%)100重量份,包含(B)作为硫化剂的(a)硫0~0.5重量份以及(b)二硫代二吗啉(morpholinedisulfide)、烷基苯酚二硫醚或者高分子多硫化物0.5~3重量份、以及(C)4,4’-(α,α-二甲基苄基)二苯基胺防老剂0.5~5重量份。
针对硫的配合量,记载了为0~0.5重量份、优选为0~0.3重量份,在其以上的配合量时无法获得耐热性优异的组合物。在各实施例中没有使用硫,在使用了2重量份的硫的比较例1中不但耐热性差,而且硬度的升高显著。
另外记载了,使用了0.5~3重量份、优选0.5~2重量份的二硫代二吗啉(VulnocR),在其以上的配合量时发生早期硫化,引发焦烧(scorch)现象。
在专利文献2中记载了一种硫化性橡胶组合物,其中,相对于具有2种不同的碘值的含腈基的共聚橡胶100重量份,含有按照硫量换算为0.1~1.5重量份、优选0.2~1重量份、更优选0.3~0.8重量份的硫及/或4,4’-二硫代二吗啉。
在其实施例或比较例中,仅使用了硫或4,4’-二硫代二吗啉中的一者,未给出并用了两者的实施例。
在专利文献3中记载了一种使用了NBR组合物的汽车用空气软管(air hose),所述NBR组合物相对于100质量份NBR,使用作为硫化促进剂的秋兰姆系化合物0.5~7质量份、4,4’-二硫代二吗啉0~2.5质量份以及噻唑系化合物2.0~7.0质量份,在MW700~2000的增塑剂5~50质量份的存在下进行硫化。
记载了4,4’-二硫代二吗啉的配合量超过2.5质量份时耐热性变差,在各实施例中使用0~1质量份。另外,硫的配合量优选为0.1~1.0质量份,在各实施例中都使用了0.3质量份。
在专利文献4~5中记载了,构成滚动轴承中使用的密封装置的密封部件是橡胶组合物的成型体,所述橡胶组合物相对于100重量份NBR配合有(A)炭黑以及粘土40~200重量份、(B)4,4’-二硫代二吗啉0.5~3重量份或0.2~5重量份、(C)次磺酰胺(sulfenamide)系硫化促进剂1~10重量份,且弹簧硬度A级(scale)为71~75。
虽然记载了可与4,4’-二硫代二吗啉一同添加少量的硫作为交联剂,但是在各实施例中仅使用了硫化剂B(4,4’-二硫代二吗啉)1~2重量份,与硫化剂A(高度分散性硫)0.3重量份的并用仅仅不过是出现在引用文献5的实施例7中。

发明内容
发明所要解决的课题
本发明的目的在于提供一种橡胶组合物,在将其制成橡胶层叠金属板、例如制成制动垫片材料(所述制动垫片材料是通过将该橡胶层叠金属板与垫片或者其它金属板进行层叠而得到的层叠复合金属)进行使用时,可改善橡胶层的挤出性。
用于解决课题的手段
本发明的目的通过橡胶层叠金属用NBR组合物而实现,所述橡胶层叠金属用NBR组合物中,相对于100重量份NBR配合有硫1~3重量份以及由通式RN-S-S-NR(其中RN是与键合于S原子的N原子一同形成的环状连接基团)表示的二硫醚化合物1~15重量份。
发明的效果
使用二硫醚化合物而得到的挤出性的改善,不依赖于填充剂等的配合,因此不伴有硬度升高,所以在混炼加工性和/或密封性方面具有效果。
橡胶硬度的升高也对例如制动垫片材料的减振特性造成不良影响,因而,使用二硫醚化合物而得的挤出性的改善可抑制高硬度化,结果,制动垫片材料能够维持减振特性。
具体实施方式
作为NBR,可以使用丙烯腈(AN)含量为任意值的NBR、例如具有18~48重量%的丙烯腈(AN)的NBR。
在NBR中,相对于其100重量份,配合1~3重量份、优选1.8~2.5重量份的硫与1~15重量份、优选1~10重量份的由通式RN-S-S-NR表示的二硫醚化合物这两者进行使用。
硫的配合比例比其少时,则挤出性变得不充分,另一方面,即使以配合比例比其多的方式进行使用,也无法改善挤出性。
在由上述通式表示的二硫醚化合物中,RN是与键合于S原子的N原子一同形成的环状连接基团,具体而言,可列举4,4’-二硫代二吗啉、二硫代二己内酰胺等,优选使用4,4’-二硫代二吗啉。
其配合比例为1~15重量份,优选为1~10重量份,为比其少的配合比例时无法改善挤出性,另一方面为比其多的配合比例时,虽然改善挤出性但是硬度升高显著。
在NBR组合物中,优选进一步配合其它的含硫硫化促进剂。作为含硫硫化促进剂,可使用胍系、醛-胺系、醛-氨系、噻唑系、次磺酰胺系、硫脲系、秋兰姆系、二硫代氨基甲酸酯系、黄原酸酯系等的各种硫化促进剂,优选列举二硫化四甲基秋兰姆、N-环己基-2-苯并噻唑基次磺酰胺等。
这些含硫硫化促进剂,通常以相对于100重量份NBR为约15重量份以下、优选1~10重量份的比例进行使用。
对于除了上述各成分之外还配合有约40~150重量份的炭黑、重质碳酸钙、酸受体、增滑剂、其它配合剂的NBR组合物,通过将其硫化物层层叠于金属板上,从而被用作橡胶层叠金属板。
作为金属板,可使用不锈钢钢板、软钢板、镀锌钢板、SPCC钢板、铜板、镁板、铝板、铝压铸板(aluminum die-cast plate)等。它们通常以经脱脂的状态使用,根据需要,利用喷丸处理(Shot blast)、Scotch-Brite、发线处理(Hair-Line)、消光整理(Dull finish)等对金属表面进行粗糙面化。另外,关于其板厚,在密封材料用途的情况下,通常使用约0.1~1mm左右的金属板。
在这些金属板上,优选形成底漆涂层(primer layer)。底漆涂层被期望大幅地提高橡胶金属层叠体的橡胶粘接层的耐热性以及耐水性,特别是,在用作制动垫片材料(所述制动垫片材料是通过将橡胶层叠金属板与其它金属板、优选与钢板等进行层叠而得到的层叠复合金属)的情况下,优选形成底漆涂层。
作为底漆涂层,可直接使用磷酸锌皮膜、磷酸铁皮膜、涂布型铬酸盐皮膜、钒、锆、铝、硅、钛、钼、钨、锰、锌、铈等金属的化合物、特别是这些金属的氧化物等的无机系覆膜、硅烷、酚醛树脂(phenolic resin)、环氧树脂、聚氨酯等的有机系覆膜等,可直接使用通常市售的化学溶液或者公知技术。
关于包含以上各成分的底漆,按照其固态成分浓度为约0.2~5重量%的方式制备成有机溶剂、例如甲醇、乙醇、异丙醇等醇类,丙酮、甲乙酮等酮类等的溶液,只要保持液稳定性,则也可制备成水性溶液。
关于所获得的底漆溶液,使用喷雾、浸渍、刷毛、辊涂机等,以约50~200mg/m2量的单面单位面积重量涂布于金属板上,利用室温或者温风进行干燥后,在约100~250℃烧结处理约0.5~20分钟,形成底漆涂层。
另外,作为粘接剂,可直接使用硅烷、酚醛树脂、环氧树脂、聚氨酯等的各种树脂覆膜形成用途的通常市售的粘接剂。另外,也可使用包含酚醛清漆型酚醛树脂(novolak typephenolic resin)以及甲阶型酚醛树脂(resol type phenolic resin)这2种酚醛树脂与未硫化丁腈橡胶的粘接剂。
作为酚醛清漆型酚醛树脂,可使用如下获得的树脂,即,通过将苯酚、对甲酚、间甲酚、对叔丁基苯酚等、在相对于酚羟基而言的邻位及/或对位具有2个或3个可取代的核氢原子(nuclear hydrogen atoms)的酚类或者它们的混合物与甲醛在草酸、盐酸、马来酸等酸催化剂的存在下进行缩合反应从而获得的熔点80~150℃的树脂、优选使用由间甲酚与甲醛制造的熔点120℃以上的树脂。
作为甲阶型酚醛树脂,可使用如下获得的树脂,即,通过将苯酚、对甲酚、间甲酚、对叔丁基苯酚等、在相对于酚羟基而言的邻位及/或对位具有2个或3个可取代的核氢原子的酚类或者它们的混合物与甲醛在氨、碱金属氢氧化物、氢氧化镁等碱催化剂的存在下进行缩合反应从而获得的树脂。
含有上述各成分的粘接剂,溶解于甲乙酮、甲基异丁基酮等酮类、甲苯、二甲苯等芳香族烃类等单独的有机溶剂或者它们的混合溶剂中,以溶液状使用。
形成优选的粘接剂的以上各成分,相对于酚醛清漆型酚醛树脂100重量份,以10~1000重量份的比例,优选60~400重量份的比例使用甲阶型酚醛树脂。这些各成分,按照成分总量浓度为约3~10重量%的方式加入有机溶剂,进行混合、搅拌,从而制备成硫化性粘接剂。比上述比例多地使用甲阶型酚醛树脂时,丁腈橡胶材料的粘接性降低,另一方面,比上述比例少时,引起与金属面或者底漆涂层的粘接性降低,不理想。使用上述各成分的粘接剂的制备,如下进行,即,分别将各成分的预定量溶解于有机溶剂中,进行混合、搅拌。
粘接剂层在金属板上的形成,优选如下进行,即,在形成了底漆涂层的金属板上涂布上述粘接剂溶液,在室温下风干或者利用温风进行干燥,然后在约100~250℃进行约5~30分钟左右的烧结。干燥后的粘接剂层的涂布厚度优选为约0.5~5μm左右。
作为粘接剂层,不仅可制成一层的构成,也可制成多层构成。例如,可列举:在底漆涂层上形成包含有机金属化合物的酚系的粘接剂层,进一步在其上设置酚系粘接剂层从而多阶段涂布粘接剂,然后形成橡胶层。通过制成这样的结构,虽然粘接剂层的涂布工序增加,但是能够使底漆涂层以及橡胶层的粘接性变得更加强固。
在粘接剂层上,涂布丁腈橡胶涂布剂使厚度为约10~200μm左右,在室温下风干或者利用温风进行干燥,然后在约160~250℃进行约0.5~30分钟左右的硫化。对于所得的橡胶金属层叠体,为了防止橡胶的粘着的目的,也可以在橡胶层上涂布树脂系、石墨系等涂布剂。
所得的橡胶层叠金属,可用作垫片、或者进一步层叠有其他的钢板等金属板的制动垫片材料等。
实施例
接下来,利用实施例说明本发明。
实施例1
将以上各成分用捏合机以及开放辊进行混炼,将混炼物(组合物)在175℃硫化5分钟,制作成厚2mm的橡胶片材。依照JIS K6253测定此橡胶片材的硬度。
压缩试验评价样品如下制作。
在由磷酸锌进行了表面处理的SPCC钢板(厚度0.6mm)上,将利用甲乙酮、甲醇等有机溶剂稀释至固态成分浓度为5重量%的酚醛树脂以使得在SPCC钢板上干燥后的涂布厚度为3μm的方式进行涂布,在室温下进行干燥。作为酚醛树脂,只要可硫化粘接于NBR则没有特别限定,例如可使用作为市售品的陶氏化学(Dow Chemical Company)制品Thixon 715等。
用有机溶剂溶解上述NBR组合物,以使干燥后的涂布厚度为80μm的方式涂布于酚醛树脂涂布SPCC钢板上。
作为此时的有机溶剂,可使用甲乙酮、乙酸乙酯、甲苯等。
在200℃的烘箱中,将以如上方式涂布了NBR的SPCC钢板硫化3分钟,形成橡胶层叠金属板,进一步根据需要在橡胶层表面涂布粘着防止层。
压缩试验的评价如下进行。
在橡胶层叠金属板的橡胶面,将面圈(doughnut)状的凸形形状的金属配件在150℃以预定的压力(120MPa)压缩10分钟,然后按照下述基准对橡胶层的状态进行了评价。
评价5分:没有露出金属,也几乎没有发现橡胶流动
评价4分:没有露出金属,橡胶的流动也为少量
评价3分:虽然橡胶的流动不少,但是不至于金属露出
评价2分:橡胶的流动大,但是金属的露出少
评价1分:橡胶的流动、金属的露出均大
关于挤出性,将5~4分评价为○,将3分评价为△,将2~1分评价为×。
实施例2
在实施例1中,将4,4’-二硫代二吗啉的量变更为4重量份。
实施例3
在实施例1中,将4,4’-二硫代二吗啉的量变更为8重量份。
实施例4
在实施例1中,将4,4’-二硫代二吗啉的量变更为12重量份。

在实施例1中,没有使用4,4’-二硫代二吗啉,将胶体硫的量变更为4重量份。

在实施例1中,没有使用4,4’-二硫代二吗啉,将MT炭黑的量变更为130重量份。
比较例7
在实施例3中,没有使用胶体硫。
将以上实施例1~5以及比较例1~7中获得的结果示于下表1。需要说明的是,关于由无添加物引起的硬度升高,算出与4,4’-二硫代二吗啉无添加物(比较例3)相比的硬度升高,将硬度差0~+1pts评价为○,将+2pts评价为△,将+3pts以上评价为×。

实施例6
使用以上各成分,与实施例1同样地进行橡胶片材的制作、硬度的测定以及压缩试验。需要说明的是,关于压缩试验后的硬度升高,与二硫代二己内酰胺无添加物(比较例9)进行了比较。
实施例7
在实施例6中,将二硫代二己内酰胺的量变更为15重量份。
比较例7
在实施例6中,将二硫代二己内酰胺的量变更为20重量份。
比较例8
在实施例6中,将二硫代二己内酰胺的量变更为0.5重量份。
比较例9
在实施例6中,没有使用二硫代二己内酰胺。
将以上实施例6~7以及比较例7~9中获得的结果示于下表2。

Claims (5)
1.一种橡胶层叠金属用NBR组合物,其中,相对于100重量份NBR,配合有硫1~3重量份以及由通式RN-S-S-NR表示的二硫醚化合物1~15重量份,
通式中,RN是与键合于S原子的N原子一同形成的环状连接基团,
二硫醚化合物为4,4’-二硫代二吗啉或者二硫代己内酰胺。
2.根据权利要求1所述的橡胶层叠金属用NBR组合物,其中,进一步配合有15重量份以下的其它的含硫硫化促进剂。
3.一种橡胶层叠金属板,其在金属板上层叠有权利要求1所述的NBR组合物的硫化物层。
4.一种垫片,其由权利要求3所述的橡胶层叠金属板形成。
5.一种制动垫片材料,其由权利要求3所述的橡胶层叠金属板以及其它金属板的层叠复合金属形成。
