The existing elevator speed limiter comprises a rope wheel, a safety rope is arranged on the rope wheel, one end of the safety rope is fixed on a car body of the elevator, the other end of the safety rope is fixed on the car body of the elevator through the rope wheel and a tensioning wheel respectively, and the safety rope at the end is also connected with a safety tongs of the elevator. When the elevator runs within the normal speed range, the safety rope circulates between the rope pulley and the tension pulley, the running of the elevator cannot be influenced, and once the elevator runs at an overspeed, the safety rope can pull the safety tongs, so that the safety tongs clamp the guide rail of the elevator, and the elevator is forcibly braked. In addition, the braking through the safety tongs is just an inexhaustible matter, and the braking tongs cannot be opened easily. Therefore, on the one hand, the operating speed of the elevator is controlled so as not to run at overspeed, and on the other hand, frequent opening of the safety gear is prevented, which puts new demands on the elevator speed limiter. The existing speed limiter has low sensitivity and stability to braking and unreliable braking, so the speed limiter needs to be redesigned.
Centrifugal trigger mechanisms are important parts of governors.
