Abstract

Technical Field

Background

Auditory detection is including electrophysiological detection means such as ABR detection, CM, CAP, DPOAE, EP, is the main detection mode of appraising animal auditory function, and it can objective reaction animal auditory function, and these detections need the animal to be in the anesthesia sleep state, and traditional auditory detection mode is to lie prone it directly on the auditory detection platform after anaesthetizing the animal, fixes recording electrode at animal head. The invention is suitable for various experimental animals, in particular to experimental animals such as pigs, dogs or large rodents and the like.

Example 1

The fixed heat preservation bed of the invention is used for the hearing test of the miniature pig. The specific process is as follows:

1. the size (length, width and height) of the pig variety and the fixed heat-preservation bed designed based on the actual pig variety; the length proportion of the head fixing position, the shoulder fixing position, the waist fixing position and the hip fixing position is set. The fixed heat preservation bed uses polyethylene foam integrated into one piece, dig 5cm under the inboard bottom surface of waist fixed position and the fixed position of buttock and form the recess, pack PVA sponge in the recess. 2. The results of auditory tests using the fixed heat-preservation bed of the invention were compared with those without the heat-preservation device:

the Click-ABR hearing test was performed on healthy normal mini-tibetan pigs 30 using the device of the invention and no incubation device, respectively, with a Click mean threshold of 30dB SPL (fig. 5) consistent with the results of the conventional test (fig. 6) and no animals that died due to low temperature, reducing mortality.
