A multi-fold umbrella middle rod is shown in fig. 1 and 2, and comprises an outer tube 1, an inner tube 2, an upper nest 3 and a connecting rod 4, wherein the upper nest 3 is axially and fixedly connected with one end of the outer tube 1, the outer tube 1 is sleeved outside the inner tube 2, a connecting bolt 5 is sleeved outside one end of the connecting rod 4, the connecting bolt 5 and the connecting rod 4 are both positioned in the outer tube 1, and one end of the connecting rod 4 is fixedly connected with the bottom end of the upper nest 3 through the connecting bolt 5.
