The normal foreign matter refers to an object (such as a zipper, a button and the like) owned by the clothes, and the abnormal foreign matter refers to an object not owned by the clothes.

The step 4 of rotating the inner drum of the washing machine in various ways comprises changing the rotating direction and the rotating speed of the inner drum in the rotating process. For example, when starting, the rotor rotates clockwise at a low speed, rotates for a period of time, gradually increases the rotation speed, or changes the rotation direction to counterclockwise. Or the rotating speed and the rotating direction of the inner drum are randomly changed in the rotating process, so that abnormal foreign matters are more easily separated from the clothes pockets, and the irregular motion state of the abnormal foreign matters is more obvious. The millimeter wave sensor comprises a transmitting terminal and a receiving terminal which are distributed in a rectangular array mode, the detection range capable of being covered is wide, and therefore the millimeter wave sensor only needs to be installed at a proper position, the millimeter wave sensor is not limited to be arranged on a closed door, the detection range of the sensor only needs to cover the whole inner cylinder, the sensor cannot rotate along with the roller, and meanwhile, the array arrangement mode is not limited to be rectangular. Compared with the common pulse radar, the pulse radar has the advantages that the pulse radars are uniformly distributed along the circumferential direction of the cylinder, the efficiency is improved, and the cost is reduced. The proper position can be reasonably selected according to different designs of the washing machine, for example, the position is arranged in a glass bowl of a closed door of a clothes input opening, so that the detection range covers the whole inner drum. The invention also provides a washing machine and a foreign matter detection method based on the millimeter wave sensor.
