Abstract
The invention discloses a pressure-sensitive flexible veneer and a manufacturing method thereof. The invention relates to a pressure-sensitive flexible veneer, which comprises the following components: the flexible material layer, the thin wood layer and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer; the invention also discloses a preparation method of the pressure-sensitive flexible veneer, wherein the flexible material layer is pressed on the front surface of the veneer to enhance the flexibility of the veneer so that the veneer does not crack or break; the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is used on the back of the veneer, so that decoration is quick, glue does not need to be added, and decoration steps are optimized.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a pressure-sensitive flexible veneer and a manufacturing method thereof, belongs to the wood processing industry, and is a new material adopted in the decoration fields of wood products, decoration, fitment and the like.
Background
With the increasing scarcity of precious wood resources and the continuous improvement and progress of people on the processing technology of wood products, the veneer material plays an increasingly important role in home decoration and wood product manufacture.
Common technical veneers or natural veneers have certain defects, such as brittleness and easy cracking, and the problems of coating adhesives, surface painting and the like during decoration and use. According to literature data, for example, patent CN201610809177.5 "an aldehyde-free water-resistant plastic film reinforced flexible decorative veneer and its preparation method", and patent CN201310385536.5 "a flexible decorative veneer" are all flexible veneers, but an adhesive is still required to be coated in the decorative finishing process, and a finishing step is added.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the technical problems, the invention aims to provide a pressure-sensitive flexible veneer, which increases the flexibility, prevents cracking and fracture and retains the color and texture of the veneer by using a transparent flexible material layer on the front surface of the veneer; the film and the veneer are combined, so that the painting process in use is avoided, and the product is green and environment-friendly; the veneer is derived from recombined decorative material assemblies, logs and the like, and provides color textures required by the market; the pressure-sensitive adhesive is used on the back surface of the veneer, and when the pressure-sensitive adhesive is used for decoration, the step of coating the adhesive for decoration is omitted, so that the decoration cost is reduced, and the wood veneer is green and environment-friendly.

the pressure-sensitive flexible veneer is characterized by comprising a flexible material layer, a veneer layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and is formed by the following processing steps:
step a) performing rotary cutting or slicing on the recombined decorative material and the log into thin wood;
step b), carrying out hot-pressing gluing on the flexible plastic decorative film and the front surface of the veneer at the hot-pressing temperature of 100-170 ℃, the unit pressure of 0.1-1.0 MPa and the time of 5-10 min;
and c) coating the pressure-sensitive adhesive on the reverse side of the veneer to form the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.
Preferably, the thickness of the veneer layer is 0.20 mm-1.00 mm, and the water content is 8% -16%.
Preferably, the flexible material layer is made of materials including, but not limited to, polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE); the flexible material layer provides the veneer pliability, also protects the pressure sensitive adhesive layer when the packing is rolled up.
Preferably, the parameters during hot pressing are set to be the hot pressing temperature of 100-170 ℃, the unit pressure of 0.1-1.0 MPa and the time of 5-10 min;
preferably, the pressure-sensitive adhesive material used for the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is acrylate copolymer and waterborne polyurethane.

Example 1
Rotary cutting or slicing the log into thin wood with the thickness of 0.50 mm;
hot-pressing and gluing the front surface of the veneer with polypropylene as a flexible plastic decorative film at the hot-pressing temperature of 165 ℃ under the unit pressure of 0.7MPa for 7 min;
coating the acrylate copolymer as a pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back surface of a veneer to form a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer;
and rolling, packaging and warehousing the pressure-sensitive flexible veneer.
Example 2
Example 2 differs from example 1 in that the flexible material layer used in example 2 was polyethylene and the hot pressing temperature was 100 ℃.
Example 3
Example 3 is different from example 1 in that the material used for the pressure sensitive adhesive layer in example 3 is aqueous polyurethane, and the hot pressing temperature is 140 ℃.
Example 4
Example 4 is different from example 1 in that polyethylene is used for the flexible material layer, aqueous polyurethane is used for the pressure sensitive adhesive layer, and the hot pressing temperature is 120 ℃.
Comparative example 1
Comparative example 1 differs from example 1 in that comparative example 1 directly laminates veneer with pressure sensitive adhesive without using a layer of flexible material.
Comparative example 2
Comparative example 2 is different from example 1 in that comparative example 2 employs a non-woven fabric as a flexible material layer without a pressure sensitive adhesive layer.
Through comparison between the embodiment and the comparative example, the embodiment adopts the pressure-sensitive adhesive as the decorative adhesive, so that the use of the glue in the decoration process is reduced, and the decoration convenience and the environmental protection are provided; the finished products of examples 1-4 use polyethylene or polypropylene as the flexible material layer, have better flexibility, do not crack, and the transparent plastic film retains the original color of the veneer; the finished product of the comparative example 1 has no flexible material layer, and the veneer has poor flexibility and is easy to crack; comparative example 2 non-woven fabric is used as the flexible material layer, no pressure sensitive glue layer is provided, glue is still required to be coated during decoration, and the decoration step is increased.

3. The pressure sensitive flexible veneer of claim 1, wherein: the thickness of the flexible material layer is 0.05 mm-0.25 mm.
4. A pressure sensitive flexible veneer according to claim 1, wherein: the thickness of the veneer layer is 0.20 mm-1.00 mm, and the water content is 8% -16%.
5. The pressure-sensitive flexible veneer as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive material used in the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is acrylate copolymer or aqueous polyurethane.
