Description

Height-adjustable drainage channel
Technical Field
The invention relates to a height adjustment device for a drainage channel, in particular for drainage of building facades or platforms, a drainage channel with a height adjustment device, a method for height adjustment of a drainage channel and a grate locking device for a grate of a drainage channel.
Background
Drainage troughs for platforms, balconies, flat roofs or house facades are known from the prior art and are generally used for the roofs and balconies utilized, in particular roof balconies. In contrast to conventional linear drainage, the water is not guided out in the longitudinal direction along the trough branch, but out through the drainage slot transversely to the trough onto the roof surface. The water is delivered to the outlet opening via the closed roof sealing means.
Height-adjustable drainage gutters are also known in principle. Typically, these drainage channels are made of metal. Conventional height adjustment of drainage troughs typically utilizes adjustable feet whose length or height can be matched via threaded rods and threaded receivers that engage one another. Height adjustment of the drainage channel may be necessary in order to compensate for unevenness of the base or in order to adjust the upper side of the drainage channel, in particular of the grate, flush with the surrounding floor.
The known height-adjustable drainage troughs have the disadvantage that they are complicated to install and that their height can only be adjusted with difficulty or imprecisely. Furthermore, a trough system made of metal is expensive to produce and limited in terms of design possibilities.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention therefore has the object of providing a height-adjustable gutter which can be installed simply and quickly and is simply height-adjustable. In particular, the accuracy of the height adjustment should be improved.
The object is achieved by the height adjustment device, the drainage channel and the method for height adjustment of a drainage channel, respectively, according to the invention.
In particular, the object is achieved by a height adjustment device for a gutter, in particular for draining of a facade or platform, comprising a support body, which is composed of plastic, and at least one adjustment unit, wherein the adjustment unit comprises:
a first adjusting element extending along an adjustment direction, which is axially movably supported in the support body and has at least one support surface for a trough body of the drainage trough;
-a second adjustment element fixed in an adjustment direction with respect to the support body;
a coupling element which can be moved back and forth between a decoupling position, in which the first and second actuating elements are not coupled to one another, and a coupling position, in which the first and second actuating elements are coupled to one another,
in the coupled position, the first adjusting element and the second adjusting element act together as a gear, in particular as a helical gear, via the coupling element, in particular for fine axial adjustment of the first adjusting element.
One idea of the invention is to propose a height adjustment device for a drainage trough, which enables a coarse and a fine adjustment of the height of the drainage trough. According to the invention, a coarse height adjustment (coarse adjustment) can be carried out if the coupling element is in the decoupled position, and a finer height adjustment (fine adjustment or recalibration) can be carried out if the coupling element is in the coupled position. In particular, the height adjustment device can be adjusted (lowered or raised) in a first step (manually) by a (direct) force acting on the trough body, wherein the first adjustment element slides axially. In a second step, a more precise (finer) height adjustment can be achieved by operating the adjustment unit via the transmission. The adjustment direction may be understood as the height direction of the drainage channel, i.e. in particular the (vertical) upward or downward direction.
The fine adjustment is effected in particular via a transmission, in which the first and second adjusting elements are kinematically coupled to one another via a coupling element. The first and second adjusting elements and the coupling element may have a gearing, such as threads or teeth, which engage in particular with one another. In particular, the first and second adjusting elements are supported relative to one another in the coupling position (axially) in the adjustment direction via the coupling element. The first and second adjusting elements together with the coupling element in the coupling position form, in particular, a screw drive. In particular, the transmission converts a rotational movement of the adjusting element into a (axial) linear movement of the respective other or same adjusting element.
The height adjustment device according to the invention has the advantage that it can be simply connected to the trough body, in particular wherein the trough body is placed (from above) onto the height adjustment device. Furthermore, a simple and precise height adjustment is possible in a two-stage adjustment process (coarse adjustment and fine adjustment).
In an advantageous development of the invention, the first adjusting element and/or the second adjusting element are rotatably mounted in the support body, in particular about a longitudinal axis extending in the adjustment direction. Thereby, the adjustment unit may be operated via the first and/or second adjustment element, for example by a screwdriver of an assembler.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the coupling element has a first transmission means, in particular an internal thread, and the first adjusting element or the second adjusting element has a second transmission means, in particular an external thread, wherein in the coupling position the first transmission means and the second transmission means engage with each other. The gear can also have a toothing in addition to the thread.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the coupling element is formed integrally with the first or second adjusting element, in particular as a radial projection which has an internal thread on the thread flank at least in sections. The thread flanks can be formed in the form of half nuts or by any circumferential sub-section of the thread. In the case of a one-piece design, the coupling element can be moved from the coupling position into the decoupling position and vice versa by a movement (actuation), in particular a twisting, of the first or second adjusting element.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the support body forms a receiving structure extending in the adjustment direction, in which receiving structure the adjustment unit is received, wherein the receiving structure in particular forms a longitudinal guide for the first adjustment element. The receiving structure forms in particular a cylindrical cavity into which the first and second adjusting elements can be inserted (from above). The receiving structure can be molded onto the support body made of plastic or be fixed as a separate component on the base plate of the support body, in particular inserted into said base plate.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the first adjusting element has a first longitudinal groove for locking the coupling element in the coupling position and preferably a second longitudinal groove for locking the coupling element in the decoupling position, wherein the receiving structure has in particular a locking projection for engaging into the first longitudinal groove or the second longitudinal groove. Locking may be understood as a rotation prevention which can be released against an insurable resistance (caused by a rotation of the adjusting element). The first longitudinal groove has the advantage that the first adjusting element remains in a defined decoupled (free) position during the height adjustment and does not hinder the height adjustment process (coarse adjustment). The second longitudinal groove has the advantage that the coupling element is held securely in the coupling position in order to ensure the interaction of the gear mechanisms. The longitudinal groove prevents the first adjustment member from being unintentionally twisted relative to the receiving structure. The latching projections can be embodied as ribs, in particular as bendable longitudinal ribs.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the second adjusting element has a circumferential groove into which an at least partially circumferential flange section, in particular formed by the receiving structure, engages. The second adjusting element is axially fixed, but is rotatably supported about its longitudinal axis in the receiving structure via the circumferential groove. The flange section is in particular an inwardly projecting edge of the receiving structure.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the first and/or the second adjusting element has an engagement contour on the end side, which is used for the twisting of the first or the second adjusting element, in particular from the side of the groove. The first and/or second adjusting element can be rotated, in particular from above, about the respective longitudinal axis by means of an engagement contour, for example a transverse slot, a hexagon socket, a quadrilateral, etc.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the support body has two opposite, in particular identically designed, receiving structures, in each of which an adjustment unit is received. In particular, the height adjustment device is designed point-symmetrically with respect to a center point of the support element, wherein the adjustment units are designed in particular identically. Thereby, the height adjustment means can be mounted to the tank in two possible transverse orientations.
In an advantageous development of the invention, at least one spring acting in the adjustment direction, in particular a helical spring, is accommodated in the support body, said spring being preferably connected to the base plate of the support body by means of a latching projection, said spring serving in particular to support the groove during the position of the coupling element in the decoupling position. The spring causes that the underside of the groove can be supported by the spring force during a rough adjustment. The groove can be pressed (manually) against the spring force into the desired height position in the direction of the support body in the decoupled position of the coupling element or when the adjustment unit is adjusted to a sufficiently low height (coarse adjustment). In this way, a simplified installation of the trough system can be achieved, since the fitter, in particular in the height orientation of the entire trough branch, does not have to raise the entire trough branch (a plurality of trough bodies connected to one another) against the force of gravity, but merely has to press the trough branch (manually) slightly downward on account of the spring force in order to achieve a coarse adjustment. This is a significant simplification for the assembler at the worksite. In this case, the fitter can use the adjoining floor (for example, a plate or a tile) as a height stop for the rough adjustment of the slot strand by means of a laying and orienting mechanism (ruler, wooden plate, etc.). The desired height can be (finely) set via the height adjustment means.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the first adjusting element has at the upper end at least one fastening element, in particular a locking element, for releasable, preferably freely rotatable connection with the groove, in particular with an edge of the through-opening of the receiving roof of the groove. Preferably, fastening elements are provided on both sides, which fastening elements are designed in particular as (obliquely cut) clamping connections.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the support body has lateral guide posts for receiving in corresponding guide receptacles of the groove body, wherein the guide posts in particular have latching projections for releasable latching with corresponding openings (latching openings) of the groove body. Despite the spring force, the locking projection provides for the height adjustment device to be fixed to the trough body, for example for transport.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the base plate of the support body has a receiving opening for coupling, preferably locking, the raising element on the underside of the support body. By means of the additional elevation element, height adjustability is achieved with a defined height level which exceeds the adjustment range of the height adjustment device.
In an advantageous development of the invention, at least one elevation element is coupled to the underside of the support body, optionally a plurality of elevation elements are coupled to the underside of the support body in a stacked-one-on-top manner. This embodiment enables a large height adaptation of the drainage channel. In particular, the raising elements each have at least one, preferably conically shaped, supporting element. Furthermore, at least one locking element is provided, so that it can be connected in one piece with the support element. Via the support element, the (vertical) forces acting on the support body can be dissipated in the base, while the locking element prevents a lifting of the lifting element or of the support body located above it. The support element has the function of a spacer, which presets a defined height difference.
The object mentioned is also achieved in particular by a drainage gutter, in particular for draining off building facades or platforms, comprising a gutter body, in particular made of plastic, which forms at least one receiving roof that is open to the underside of the gutter body, and having a height adjustment device according to the invention, wherein an adjustment unit of the height adjustment device, in particular a receiving structure of a support body, is received in the receiving roof and the gutter body can be supported on at least one bearing surface of a first adjustment element.
A receiving ceiling can be understood as a cavity which is open on one side. The receiving dome can be integrated in a predetermined grid, in particular on both groove sides, preferably molded into the groove body. The gutter according to the invention, in particular the trough body of a floor trough of a house, can be used with a fixed structural height, or can be (section-wise) adjusted in height by (locally) installing the height adjustment device according to the invention. In particular, it is not necessary to accommodate a height adjustment device in each receiving dome or in each pair of opposing receiving domes.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the receiving head has a through-opening for actuating the actuating unit, in particular by rotating the first actuating element and/or the second actuating element. The through-opening particularly enables a passage (from above) to the engagement contour of the first and/or second setting element, in particular for the purpose of operating the engagement contour with the aid of a screwdriver.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the trough body has on the underside a guide receptacle for receiving a corresponding guide post of the support body of the height adjustment device. In particular, the groove body has an opening for the corresponding locking projection of the guide post to protrude into. Furthermore, the opening can be used to increase the adjustment path and/or to avoid collisions between the trough body and the height adjustment device.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the groove body has a spring receptacle on the underside for receiving the upper end of a spring, which is received in the support body. The spring is thus loaded as axially as possible during the coarse adjustment.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the trough body has a plurality of outlet slits running in particular in the transverse direction of the trough body, which are separated from one another by breakable webs of material of the trough body, wherein the webs of material have in particular material weakenings at the web ends. The material weakening can be designed as a tapering or local cross-sectional weakening and serves to form the desired breaking point (detachable material web). By breaking off the material webs, the discharge slits can be connected to form a (larger) opening, for example for the purpose of connecting the (lateral) branch channel to the trough body.
Furthermore, a break-off region can be provided in the trough bottom, which makes possible a connection of the trough to a partial drain line. Such break-off areas can likewise be provided by material thinnings or detachable material webs. For example, an eccentric insertion sleeve may be used to connect the conduit to the channel for connection of the conduit to the channel.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the groove body has an end-side sliding/locking device for connection to an adjacently arranged groove body, in particular a locking projection which is oriented downward or in the longitudinal direction of the groove body and engages into a corresponding recess of an adjacently arranged groove body. Such a sliding/locking device serves to compensate for the temperature-and material-dependent elongation of the groove. In this way, stresses between the two troughs in the trough branch can be absorbed or avoided. In particular in a plurality of successive trough bodies (trough branches), the temperature-dependent length stretches add up and can lead to deflections in the trough branches. This can cause the entire tank system to fail. The sliding/locking device achieves a defined zero position from which a movement in both directions is possible. The groove can be locked with the adjacent groove from above and/or in the longitudinal direction.
A plurality of receptacles for nuts may be provided on the underside of the trough body. The receiving portion has an opening through which the bolt can be inserted. The grate can be screwed to the trough body by means of bolts.
In an advantageous development of the invention, a height-adjustable end wall is fastened to the end face of the trough body, wherein the end wall is in particular formed in two parts, wherein in particular the first end wall part can be firmly connected to the trough body and the second end wall part can be connected to the first end wall part via the elongated hole in a height-adjustable manner. The first end wall portion can be connected to the groove, in particular, via a clamping element or a clamping connection. The height-adjustable end wall can have a supporting effect in order to ensure the bearing capacity of the trough body at the end of the trough, in particular if the trough is cut to length at any point. Preferably, the height-adjustable end wall can be plugged onto the groove end, in particular via a (lateral) clamping element. The height-adjustable end wall is arranged in the (continuous) trough branch, in particular at one or both ends of the trough branch. The end walls may act as a support at any location, in particular after shortening (cutting to length) of the channel.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the groove body forms opposing groove rims, which each form a spring element extending toward the interior of the groove body. By means of such a spring element, the grate can be positioned centrally, wherein in particular approximately the same gap size is achieved at both groove sides. In this regard, the spring element can be used as a grate centering mechanism.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the slot frame has a locking recess which forms a blocking section for engaging a grate locking device inserted into the grate. In the region of the trough base, additional receiving devices for receiving the grate locking mechanism, in particular receiving openings for nuts, can be provided, by means of which the grate can be screwed to the trough body.
For the purpose of connecting further auxiliary components, such as, for example, an inner planar guide element, a connecting adapter, preferably made of a plate, can be fastened to the channel body. The connection adapter is fixed to the trough body, in particular via a form-fitting connection.
The proposed object is also achieved in particular by a method for height adjustment of a gutter, in particular according to the invention, comprising the steps of:
a) the tank is placed on a height adjustment device, in particular according to the invention,
wherein the height adjustment device has a support body and at least one adjustment unit, the adjustment unit having a first adjustment element extending along an adjustment direction, the first adjustment element being axially movably supported in the support body, and the adjustment unit having a second adjustment element fixed relative to the support body along the adjustment direction;
b) during the coupling element being in a decoupling position, in which the first and second adjusting elements are not coupled to one another, the height of the trough is roughly adjusted;
c) moving the coupling element from the decoupling position into the coupling position, in particular by twisting the first or second adjusting element, wherein the first and second adjusting elements interact via the coupling element as a transmission, in particular as a screw transmission;
d) during the positioning of the coupling element in the coupling position, the height of the groove is finely adjusted by actuating the adjustment unit, in particular by rotating the first adjustment element or the second adjustment element.
The method has similar advantages as already described in connection with the height adjustment device and the drain trough according to the invention. The method may implement some or all of the method aspects features described in connection with the height adjustment device and the drain tank.
Another object of the invention is to provide a grate locking device which on the one hand prevents the grate from being unintentionally removed from the trough body and on the other hand enables easy removal of the grate if this is intended.
Said object is achieved by the grate locking device according to the invention.
In particular, the object is achieved by a grate locking device for a drainage channel, in particular according to the invention, comprising:
a housing for receiving in at least one opening of a grate, wherein the housing has a lateral recess;
an operating rocker pivotally supported in the housing about a transverse axis, the operating rocker having a pressure section on one side and a traction section on the other side,
wherein the pressure section on the underside is formed with a support bar for supporting the operating rocker against the trough and the traction section on the underside has an unlocking section and a locking section;
a locking rocker which is mounted in the housing so as to be pivotable about a vertical axis and has a locking section and an unlocking section which interact with the locking section or the unlocking section of the actuating rocker when the rocker is pivoted, so that a blocking section of the locking rocker passes through the lateral recess for engaging in the locking recess of the trough body or can pivot out of the locking recess for unlocking the grate.
The components of the grate locking device, in particular the housing, the actuating and locking arms, can be made of plastic. The grate locking device is particularly suitable for receiving mesh grates made of stainless steel or galvanized steel.
The grate locking device according to the invention has the advantage that the grate, in particular by being supported via the support bar, lifts itself (automatically) from the trough body when unlocked. If the grate locking device according to the invention is arranged (only) on one side of the drainage channel, the grate can be automatically raised on this side when unlocked and can be easily removed from the channel body. Furthermore, when lifting a grate which is stuck with the trough body due to contamination or for other reasons, there is the risk that the trough body is likewise lifted together, since the trough body is typically not fixed to the base. This can be prevented by the grate being automatically raised by the grate locking device according to the invention when unlocked.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the unlocking section and the locking section each have inclined contact surfaces which are oriented opposite one another. In particular, the contact surface slides along the locking or unlocking section of the actuating rocker during locking and unlocking.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the housing has a receiving slot open to the underside for the support rods of the grate. The grate locking device is held (in the height direction) by a support bar (grid beam) received in the receiving slot.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the support bar forms a grate elevation surface which is designed to engage a support bar received in the receiving slot from below when the rocker is pivoted to release the grate. In this way, the carrier bar is at least partially surrounded by the grate locking means. When the grate is raised by pulling at the pulling section of the lever arm (in the fully unlocked state), the grate is thereby raised.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the upper sides of the pressure section and of the pulling section do not project beyond the upper side of the grate in the locked state and are in particular flush with the upper side of the grate.
In an advantageous development of the invention, the supporting bar forms a curved, in particular convexly shaped, supporting surface for supporting against the trough body. This results in a continuous or uniform removal movement of the grate.
The unlocking and locking segments are in particular designed as projections or as pins. The unlocking and locking sections of the actuating rocker are preferably formed in planes which are oriented, in particular, substantially perpendicular to one another. The actuating rocker is mounted in a rotatable manner, in particular on both sides, in a housing half, which is preferably of identical design. The locking and centering lever is preferably clamped to a support extending in the height direction, which in particular delimits or delimits the lateral recess.
In an advantageous development of the drainage channel according to the invention, the grate is inserted into the channel body, wherein at least one grate locking device according to the invention is inserted on the grate side, wherein at least one locking hook of the grate in particular engages into a locking recess of the channel body on the other grate side. The grate can be automatically raised on one side by inserting the grate locking device according to the invention only on one side.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1A, 1B, 2A and 2B show a height adjustment device 1 according to the invention, which has a support body 10 made of plastic and two adjustment units 80 arranged on both sides. The adjustment direction V extends in the height direction of the height adjustment device 1 or of the drainage channel 100 (see e.g. fig. 4). Each adjustment unit 80 is accommodated in the receiving structure 12 of the support body 10 and has a first adjustment element 21, a second adjustment element 22 and a coupling element 23. The first adjusting element 21 has two bearing surfaces 210 on the upper side for the tank 2. A spring 14, which is designed here as a helical spring, is accommodated in the base plate 11 of the support body 10. At the corners of the bottom plate 11, four guide posts 13 are provided, which guide the tank body 2 (post guide mechanism) placed onto the height adjusting device 1 in the longitudinal and transverse directions, wherein a certain clearance is allowed. The guide post 13 has a curved stop surface 18, the shape of which is adapted to the underside of the tank 2. The channel 2 can be releasably connected to the support body 10 against the spring force of the spring 14 via the first latching projections 16 engaging in the openings 56 of the channel 2. A first receiving opening 17 for coupling an additional elevation element 40 (see fig. 3A and 3B) is provided in the base plate 11.
The height adjustment of the tank body 2 of the drainage tank 100 is achieved by the height adjustment device 1 according to the invention in two steps in sequence, wherein a coarse adjustment is possible in the first step and a fine adjustment is possible in the second step. The first adjusting element 21, the second adjusting element 22 and the coupling element 23 act together as a gear 20 for fine adjustment, the function of which is described below.
The first adjusting element 21 is inserted into the receiving structure 12 of the support body 10 and is mounted in the receiving structure 12 so as to be axially displaceable in the adjustment direction V. A coupling element 23 in the form of a radial projection is connected in one piece with the first adjusting element 21. The coupling element 23 has an internal thread on the thread face 231, which internal thread is the first transmission 24. The second adjusting element 22 is in this case designed as a threaded bolt with an external thread, which is the second gear 25. The second adjusting element 22 is inserted into the correspondingly shaped receiving structure 12. In its upper region, the first adjusting element 21 has a circumferential groove 221, which engages into a corresponding flange section 121 of the receiving structure 12. In this way, the second adjusting element 22 (bolt) is axially fixed, but is rotatably mounted, i.e. the bolt is not rotated upward or downward (adjustment direction V) when it is rotated despite the thread pitch, but rather remains fixed in axial position. The first and second adjusting elements 21 and 22 can be engaged with one another via a coupling element 23, so that the adjusting elements 21 and 22 are supported relative to one another in the adjusting direction V (axial direction) and are coupled to one another kinematically via the formed thread drive. The rotation of the second adjusting element causes an axial displacement of the first adjusting element 21 in the translational adjustment direction V in the coupling position.
The actuating element 21 can be rotated back and forth between a coupling position and a decoupling position, which is shown in fig. 2A or 2B. The adjustment element 21 has two grooves running parallel in the longitudinal direction, namely a first longitudinal groove 211 and a second longitudinal groove 212. The receiving structure 12 is designed as a corresponding detent projection 122, in this case as a longitudinal rib, which can engage at least partially into the first longitudinal groove 211 or the second longitudinal groove 212. A secure fastening is not achieved by this engagement, but only a surmountable resistance. By engaging into the second longitudinal groove 212, the first adjusting element 21 remains in the defined decoupling position during the height adjustment of the tank body 2 and does not interfere with the height adjustment process (coarse adjustment). By engaging into the first longitudinal groove 211, the adjusting member 21 is reliably held in position when the second adjusting member 22 (bolt for fine adjustment) is turned at the time of fine adjustment of the height. Fine adjustment of the height level of the tank 2 is effected via rotation of the second adjustment element 22, which causes fine sliding movement in the axial direction of the first adjustment element 21. The trough 2 rests on the underside on the support surface 210. The first adjusting element 21 and the second adjusting element 22 are positively coupled to one another in the coupled position and cooperate as a transmission (screw drive). In the coupled position, the form fit also prevents the first and/or second adjusting element 21 or 22 from being lost during transport.
The spring 14 is connected to the base plate 11 via the second latching projection 19 and raises the trough body 2 into the maximum height position in the decoupling position of the coupling element 23. Pressing the tank body 2 downward is achieved by, for example, the muscular power of the fitter. The rough positioning (rough adjustment) is secured by the locking of the first locking element 21 by the coupling element 23 being rotated into the coupling position. And then fine-tuned to the desired height level at least to millimeters. The first adjusting element 21 has in its upper region a fixing element 213 for connection to the tank 2. This connection does not hinder the rotation of the first adjustment member 21.
In order to be able to spread the drainage channel outwards over its entire height with the adjustment range of the adjustment unit 80, one or more raising elements 40 can be locked under the floor 11 of the height adjustment device 1, as provided in fig. 3A and 3B. The base plate 11 of the support body 10 has a first receiving opening 17 for coupling the support element 41. In addition, a locking element 42 is provided, which engages into a recess on the side of the first receiving opening 17. The raising element 40 has four conical supporting elements 41 which continue to guide the load borne by the tank 2 directly to the base. In the embodiment according to fig. 3A and 3B, two raising elements 40 stacked one on top of the other are connected to the support body 10.
Fig. 4 shows a drainage channel 100 according to the invention with a channel body 2 made of plastic, in which a plurality of height adjustment devices 1 as described in connection with fig. 1A to 2B are accommodated.
The tank 2 forms a plurality of receiving heads 53 arranged spaced apart from one another in a grid, which are open toward the underside of the tank 2. The receiving ceiling 53 is designed to receive in each case one adjusting unit 80 or receiving structure 12. A guide accommodating portion 55 for accommodating the guide post 13 of the height adjusting device 1 is provided below the groove frame 57. In addition, a receptacle for the spring 14 is provided on the underside of the groove 2. Spring elements 59 in the form of inwardly projecting plastic leaf springs are arranged in the groove frame 57 on both sides in order to center the insertable grate 4.
The height adjustment device 1 can be introduced into the prefabricated receiving ceiling 53 on site. Alternatively, the drain 100 may be provided in a completely pre-installed manner at a construction site. It is thereby possible to provide a corresponding number of height adjusters 1 for different loads in order to meet the required load requirements or to be able to react to changing load requirements. The height adjustment device 1 can be released from the trough body 2 and inserted into the other pair of receiving domes 53 by using a locking or clamping connection in the form of the first locking projection 16. Hereby, a cut-to-length of the gutter 100 at the construction site is possible in order to adapt the gutter to the local conditions.
The second adjusting element 22 and the first adjusting element 21, in particular the engagement contour 26 thereof formed on the end side, are accessible by means of a screwdriver via the passage opening 54 at the upper side of the receiving head in the grate support surface 75 of the trough body 2. By rotating the first adjusting element 21, the adjusting unit 80 can be switched back and forth between the coupling position and the decoupling position, wherein the axial displaceability of the first adjusting element 21 is blocked or released for a coarse or preliminary height adjustment. A fine adjustment or recalibration of the height can be achieved by rotating the second adjustment member 22.
Fig. 5A shows a section of the tank body 2 with laterally running discharge slits 51, which are separated from one another by breakable webs 52 of material. The web of material 52 has a material thinning 50 at the web end that defines the desired break point. An enlarged opening in the tank 2 for joining other components can be achieved by breaking off a single web 52 of material. An additional circular break-off aid is provided in the trough base 58 for connecting the trough body 2 to a partial drain line.
Fig. 5B illustrates the already described mode of operation of the height adjustment device 1 according to the invention in conjunction with the trough body 2 and the grate 4 inserted therein.
Fig. 6A and 6B show a drainage channel 100 with an adjustable-height end wall 60 made of sheet metal. The two-part end wall 60 has a first end wall portion 61 and a second end wall portion 62 with an elongated hole 63, wherein the two end wall portions 61, 62 are made as plate elements and are connected to each other via a screw means 64. In order to ensure the load-bearing capacity at the end of the tank when the tank body 2 is cut to length at any point, the height-adjustable end walls 60 can be plugged together by means of a bracing action. The end wall portion 61 is secured at the cut-to-length location of the slot via a clamping element 65. The second end wall portion 62 has an L-shape and supports the first end wall portion 61. The height of the end wall 60 can be varied steplessly by means of the elongated hole 63 when the screw connection 64 is released. If a tank body 2 without a height adjustment device 1 is used, only the first end wall portion 61 can be used. When using the raising element 40, the second end wall portion 62 shown can be replaced by a longer L-shaped plate in order to ensure the supporting action of the tank 2.
Fig. 7A, 7B and 7C show a joining adapter 71 made of a plate for joining other accessory parts, such as, for example, an inner planar guide-out element. The coupling adapter 71 has an adapter opening 74 and is fastened to the tank body 2 via a form-fitting connection, i.e. via a bearing pin 72 and a guide tab 73 molded onto the tank body 2.
Fig. 8 to 13 show a grate locking device 3 according to the invention made of plastic for the grate 4 of the drainage channel 100, the mode of operation of which is described below. The grate lock 3 is inserted from above between two screen openings of a grate 4 made of steel. The grate locking device 3 is positively fixed to the support bar 90 and/or the filling bar of the grate 4 by means of a locking hook. The grate locking device does not project upwards or downwards from the grate 4 in the closed state.
The grate locking device 3 is formed by a housing 30 with two identical housing halves, an actuating rocker 31 and a locking rocker 35. The housing 30 has a first lateral recess 301, through which the blocking section 36 projects laterally in the locked state and projects into the locking recess 70 in the slot rim 57 or engages therein. Prevention of operation of the shaping of the isopar lever 31: the locking and waiting lever 35 twists and blocks the section 36 from moving into the grate 4. Per meter of grate 4 typically two grate locking means 3 are established on one side. On the opposite side of the grate, immovable latching hooks or projections project from the grate, which hooks or projections project into corresponding latching recesses 70 of the trough body 2. In this way, the grate is prevented from being unintentionally removed.
An actuating rocker 31 is mounted pivotably about a transverse axis Q in the housing 30 and has a pressure section 32 on one side and a pull section 33 on the other side. The pressure section 32 has a support bar 34 on the underside, so that it can be supported against the trough body 2 when the rocker 31 is actuated to remove the grate 4 from the trough body 2. The pulling section 33 forms a first unlocking section 33a and a first locking section 33b on the underside. The locking and unlocking lever 35 is mounted pivotably about a vertical axis H in the housing 30 and has a second locking section 35b and a second unlocking section 35 a. When the operation-waiting arm lever 31 is pivotally operated to be locked, the first locking section 33b of the operation-waiting arm lever 31 cooperates with the second locking section 35b of the locking-waiting arm lever 35. When the rocker 31 is pivoted for unlocking, the first unlocking portion 33a of the rocker 31 is actuated in cooperation with the second unlocking portion 35a of the locking rocker 35. In the locked state, the blocking section 36 of the locking rocker 35 engages through the first lateral recess 301 and the second lateral recess 91 of the grate 4 into the locking recess 70 of the trough body 2 and prevents the grate 4 from being removed from the trough body 2. The inclined, oppositely oriented first and second contact surfaces 37a, 37b of the locking and equal-arm lever 35 interact slidingly at contact points with the first unlocking portion 33a or the first locking portion 33b of the actuating and equal-arm lever 31 in order to produce an opposite pivoting direction of the locking and equal-arm lever 35, respectively.
Housing 30 has a receiving slot 38 which is open at the bottom for receiving a support bar 90 of grate 4. The support bar 34 forms a grate elevation surface 39a which, during a pivoting operation of the rocker 31, pivots via the receiving slot 38 and engages or encloses the support bar 90 received in the receiving slot 38 from below in this way. In this way, the grate 4 can be removed from the trough body 2 via the grate locking device 3 in the unlocked state.
If the actuating rocker 31 is twisted by pressing onto the pressure section 32 and subsequently pulling at the pulling section 33, which is only possible in one direction, the locking rocker 35 is twisted, so that the blocking section 36 moves into the grate 4. As shown in fig. 12A, the first locking section 33b blocked for this purpose is moved away and the first unlocking section 33a of the actuating arm 31 is pressed against the first, obliquely shaped contact surface 37a of the second unlocking section 35a of the locking arm 35, which results in the pivoting movement shown in fig. 12A. The blocking section 36 is thereby moved out of the locking recess 70, so that the grate 4 is no longer secured against removal.
If the rocker 31 is actuated to continue its rotation by pulling at the pulling section 33, the support bar 34 presses with the arched support surface 39b against the grate support surface 75 of the trough body 2 and removes the grate 4 from the trough on one side, as shown in fig. 13. The open or unlocked position of the grate lock 3 is shown in fig. 10A and 10B. The removal of the grate 4 on one side has the advantage that the grate 4 can also be removed at the insertion site, in which, for example, the facade of a house can partially protrude inside the trough. The grate 4 can be lifted from the trough body 2 by pulling at the operating rocker 31, more precisely at the pulling section 33. In this case, the grate elevation surface 39a of the rib of the actuating rocker 31 engages the support bar 90 from below, thereby preventing the grate lock 3 from being released from the grate 4 by the force of the removal process.
If the grate 4 is inserted into the trough body 2 by means of the grate locking device 3 and the actuating rocker 31 is pivoted in the opposite direction to the previously described rotary movement, the grate is automatically lowered onto the grate support surface 75 of the trough body 2. At the end of the pivoting movement, the actuating lever 31 presses against the inclined second contact surface 37b of the locking lever 35, so that the locking lever 35 moves into the locking position again. At the end of the rotational movement, the blocking section 36 engages in the latching recess 70 of the slot frame 57 and prevents the removal of the grate 4.
The rotational movement and the contact point (see circle) when unlocked (fig. 12A) and when locked (fig. 12B) are shown in graphical form.
The underside of the tank 2 is shown in figures 14A and 14B. A spring receiving portion 78 for receiving the upper end of the spring 14, which is received in the support body 10, and a second receiving opening 77 for a nut are shown. Bolts can be inserted into the second receiving openings 77 in order to screw the grate 4 to the trough body 2. On the end side of the trough bodies 2, a sliding/locking device 76 is provided for connecting adjacent trough bodies 2 to form a trough branch and for length compensation of temperature-dependent length changes.
