技术领域
本发明涉及一种适合用作工作流体的组合物。
背景技术
工作流体是当加压时致动机器的气体或液体。典型的实例包括蒸汽发动机中的蒸汽、热空气发动机中的空气以及液压马达或液压缸中的液压流体。更普遍地说,在热力学系统中,工作流体是吸收或传输能量的液体或气体。
工作流体特性对于热力学系统的全面描述是必要的。在大量合适的物理特性之中,它们的粘度对于在应用如液力耦合、值得注意地粘性耦合以及阻尼中的使用是特别重要的。
适用于上述应用并且包含有机聚硅氧烷作为基础油的工作流体例如已经披露于US 4959166(科斯莫石油有限公司(COSMO OIL CP.,LTD.)等)、EP 0397507 A(东燃株式会社(TONEN CORPORATION))和EP 0599251 A(科斯莫石油有限公司等)中。
最近,WO 2016/150941(意大利苏威特种聚合物公司(SOLVAY SPECIALTYPOLYMERS ITALY S.P.A.))披露了一种用于抵消装置中的振动和/或冲击的方法,其中该方法包括:
提供包括阻尼器装置的设备,所述阻尼器装置包括至少一种(全)氟聚醚共聚物[聚合物(P)],该至少一种(全)氟聚醚共聚物具有高于2,000mm/s的粘度并且包含衍生自(全)氟聚醚的重复单元以及衍生自至少一种烯烃的重复单元,该粘度是在20℃下根据标准方法ASTM D445,或者用配备有平行板25mm的动态机械光谱仪Anton Paar MCR 502流变仪在1rad/s下并且在25℃下测量的。
本申请传授提供一种适合用于阻尼器装置的流体,其中该流体通过使(全)氟聚醚聚合物和至少一种烯烃反应来获得。
已经在本领域中披露了典型地呈悬浮液或分散体形式的包含作为基础油的(全)氟聚醚(PFPE)聚合物和至少一种全氟聚合物的组合物。
例如,US 6100325(奥塞蒙特公司(AUSIMONT S.P.A.))披露了一种呈分散体形式的组合物,该组合物包含0.1-30wt.%的聚四氟乙烯或四氟乙烯(TFE)共聚物、50-90wt.%的氟化液体、0.01-5wt.%的表面活性剂以及以补充到100wt.%的量的极性试剂(水和/或醇)。US 6025307(奥塞蒙特公司)披露了一种呈分散体形式的氟化油脂,该氟化油脂包含15-50wt.%的聚四氟乙烯或四氟乙烯共聚物、30-84.5wt.%的在20℃下具有包括在20与4000cSt之间的粘度的全氟聚醚油;0.5-10wt.%的具有全氟聚醚或全氟烷基链的表面活性剂或分散剂;以及任选地抗腐蚀或抗磨损添加剂。
还在本领域中披露了包含以高粘度(例如呈糊剂形式)为特征的(全)氟聚醚(PFPE)聚合物的润滑剂组合物。
US 5032302(埃克斯夫鲁研究公司(EXFLUOR RESEARCH CORPORATION))披露了一种包括含有作为填充剂的全氟聚醚固体的全氟聚醚油的润滑剂,该润滑剂可以通过将全氟聚醚固体和全氟聚醚油混合来制备。据说这些组合物是稳定的并且没有展现出相分离,因为具有相同化学组成的该油和该固体是极其相容的。
此外,JP H0673370(NTN公司(NTN CORP.))披露了一种阻尼器密封剂,使该阻尼器密封剂与可滑动构件接触以防止减震物或阻尼器中的能量吸收流体的泄漏,并且该阻尼器密封剂由润滑橡胶组合物制成,该润滑橡胶组合物包含(A)热塑性氟树脂、(B)氟橡胶和(C)低分子含氟聚合物。在说明书中,作为组分(C)的实例,提及以下各项:四氟乙烯聚合物、氟聚醚以及多氟烷基。氟聚醚值得注意地具有以下结构:
CF3O(C2F4)m(CF2O)n-CF3
CF3O(CF2CF(CF3)O)m(CF2O)n-CF3
CF3O(CF(CF3)CF2O)m(CF2O)n-CF3。
发明内容
本申请人认为,在包含两种不同相的工作流体(典型地固相分散或悬浮在液相中)中,当该工作流体在苛刻条件下使用时可发生相分离。
此外,本申请人认为,目前用作阻尼流体的高度粘性的硅酮油受制于一些缺点,如对酸、碱和水分的敏感性,并且特别是热不稳定性。确实,由于延长暴露于高温(200℃或甚至更高),高度粘性的硅酮油随时间的推移逐渐硬化,直到它们变成不可操作的并且必须被替换。此外,本申请人注意到,随着硅酮油的粘度增加,高度粘性的硅酮油的热不稳定性变得更明显。
因此,本申请人面临的问题是提供一种旨在在几种应用中用作工作流体的组合物。为了这个目的,本申请人面临的问题是提供一种可以通过简单方法制备的组合物,使得可以根据最终的预期用途提供宽范围的粘度。
本申请人已出人意料地发现,呈溶液形式的组合物可以通过使至少一种(全)氟聚醚聚合物和至少一种无定形聚合物接触来获得。
有利地,本申请人发现,本发明的组合物能够在宽的温度范围内保持其粘性特性而即使在苛刻环境下长时间使用之后也没有示出降解。
因此,在第一方面,本发明涉及一种包含至少一种(全)氟聚醚聚合物[聚合物(P)]和至少一种无定形聚合物[聚合物(F)]的组合物[组合物(C)],其中所述组合物(C)呈溶液的形式。
有利地,所述聚合物(F)在由无定形聚合物组成的组中选择,这些无定形聚合物的特征在于根据ASTM D3418测量的在从-100℃至250℃范围内的玻璃化转变温度(Tg)。本领域技术人员将清楚的是,当遵循ASTM D3418通过热分析进行分析时,所述无定形的聚合物(F)不示出熔点(Tm)。
如上所述,本申请人注意到,可以制备具有宽范围粘度的根据本发明的组合物(C),该粘度可以在所述组合物(C)预期的最终用途的基础上调节。
有利地,所述组合物(C)的特征在于在从100mm2/s并且最高达2,000,000mm2/s(在20℃下根据标准方法(如ASTM D445)或用配备有平行板25mm的动态机械光谱仪Anton PaarMCR 502流变仪在1rad/s下并且在25℃下测量的)范围内的粘度。
因此,所述组合物(C)可以在几种应用中用作工作流体,其具有即使在高温下暴露之后在均匀溶液中也不发生相分离的优点。

在本发明中,从以商品名AD、PFR-LT(两者都是从意大利苏威特种聚合物公司可商购的)、AF(从科慕公司可商购的)以及(从氰特工业公司(Cytec Ind.Inc.)可商购的)可商购的聚合物中选择所述聚合物(F)已经获得了出乎意料的结果。
组合物(C)可以根据现有技术中的已知技术来制备。优选地,根据本发明的组合物通过溶剂混合或干燥混合来制备。
根据第一优选的实施例,将至少一种聚合物(F)溶解在至少一种溶剂[溶剂(S)]、优选(全)氟化溶剂中,并且用搅拌机机器混合。
然后,在低于溶剂(S)沸点的温度下进行加热步骤。更优选地,所述加热步骤在20℃与100℃之间的温度下进行。甚至更优选地,所述加热步骤进行持续至少1小时。
然后,进行冷却至室温的步骤,由此获得呈包含所述聚合物(F)和所述至少一种溶剂(S)的溶液的形式的组合物[组合物(C∧]。
然后,使所述组合物(C∧)和至少一种聚合物(P)接触以形成组合物[组合物(C∧∧)]并且进行混合步骤。优选地,所述混合步骤在室温下进行,更优选持续约1小时。然后,加热所述组合物(C∧∧)以优选地通过在真空下处理以去除所述至少一种溶剂(S),以获得根据本发明的组合物(C)。
根据第二优选的实施例,使至少一种聚合物(P)和至少一种聚合物(F)首先接触并且然后用搅拌器机器将其混合在一起。然后,在约150℃-200℃的温度下进行加热步骤,优选持续超过1小时、甚至更优选从2至5小时。
优选地,所述组合物(C)包含以基于所述组合物(C)的总重量高于50wt.%并且最高达99.99wt.%、更优选从60wt.%至约99.95wt.%、甚至更优选从70wt.%至99.90wt.%的量的至少一种聚合物(P)。
优选地,所述组合物(C)包含以基于所述组合物(C)的总重量从0.01wt.%至小于50wt.%、更优选从0.05wt.%至40wt.%、甚至更优选从0.10wt.%至30wt.%的量的至少一种聚合物(F)。
根据特别优选的实施例,所述组合物(C)包含以基于所述组合物(C)的总重量从0.1wt.%至20wt.%的量的至少一种聚合物(F)。
根据本发明的组合物(C)具有在20℃下根据标准方法(如ASTM D445)测量的或用配备有平行板25mm的动态机械光谱仪Anton Paar MCR 502流变仪在1rad/s下并且在25℃下测量的在从100mm2/s至2,000,000mm2/s范围内的粘度。
根据本发明的组合物(C)可以进一步包含在包括耐热性改进剂、抗氧化剂、抗磨损剂等的组中选择的附加成分。
典型地,将附加成分中的每一种以基于组合物(C)的总重量从0.0001wt.%并且最高达5wt.%的量添加到组合物中。
有利地,根据本发明的组合物(C)可以用作粘性耦合器、减震器、泵、制动缸中的液压流体;速度调整器、流体离合器(例如,用于风扇)、航海和航空仪表、陀螺罗盘、减震支柱、记录仪表、时间调节器、气动阀、过载继电器、拾音器中的阻尼介质;润滑剂;脱模剂。
根据优选的实施例,组合物(C)用作粘性耦合器内的工作流体。
粘性耦合器是典型地由壳体、毂和附接到壳体和毂中的每个的几十个环形薄板构成的机械装置。当使用根据本发明的组合物(C)时,提供了在壳体内还包含所述组合物(C)的粘性耦合器。
根据优选的实施例,组合物(C)用作阻尼器装置内的工作流体。
合适的阻尼器装置在下组中选择,该组包括:缓冲筒;减震器,如双联管或单管减震器、正敏感阻尼(PSD)减震器、加速度敏感阻尼(ASD);旋转阻尼器;调谐质量阻尼器;粘性耦合器;粘性风扇离合器和扭转粘性阻尼器。

其中m/n=40/1并且平均分子量为约6,600Da。

CF3O-[(CF2CF(CF3)O)m-(CF2O)n]-CF3
其中m/n=40/1并且平均分子量为约8,500Da。
低温全氟弹性体
2,2,4-三氟-5-三氟甲氧基-1,3-二氧化物(TTD)和四氟乙烯(TFE)的无定形全氟化共聚物
具有为95℃的玻璃化转变温度(根据ASTM D3418测量的)以及在30℃下为0.40dl/g的特性粘度(根据ASTM D2857测量的)。

方法
使用Cannon-Fenske毛细管粘度计根据ASTM D445确定给定温度下的运动粘度。
根据ASTM D2270确定粘度指数(VI)。
根据以下程序制备根据本发明的组合物。
以下表中提供的量称量聚合物FA、FB和FC中的每一种,并且将其溶解在具有40g作为溶剂的HT55的玻璃烧瓶中。将混合物在40℃下在搅拌下放置一小时。在搅拌结束时,通过目视检查分析该混合物。该溶液是均匀的。
然后,添加98g的基础油P3并且在搅拌(700rpm)下将混合物加热至溶剂回流持续一小时。将由此获得的看起来是澄清且均匀的溶液在真空下加热最高达150℃以便去除溶剂。
最终组合物由澄清、粘性且发粘的单相组成。
将此类组合物进行进一步表征和分析。
遵循以上描述的程序通过使用下表1中提供的基础油、聚合物来制备根据本发明的所有组合物。
作为对比,表1还示出了每种基础油的特性。

作为进一步比较,包含基础油(P3)以及聚合物D和聚合物E中的每一种的组合物遵循以上对于根据本发明组合物所描述的相同的程序来制备。
通过目视检查分析由此获得的组合物并且发现是完全乳白色的。
将由此获得的组合物离心约5分钟以便改进其混合。在此离心之后,出现示出在固体聚合物与基础油之间的分离的两个相。
由于此种相分离,不能测量运动粘度并且不能计算粘度指数。
进一步分析证明两个相包含原始组分。
Claims (16)
1.一种组合物[组合物(C)],该组合物包含至少一种(全)氟聚醚聚合物[聚合物(P)]和至少一种无定形聚合物[聚合物(F)],其中所述组合物(C)呈溶液的形式。
2.根据权利要求1所述的组合物,其中,所述聚合物(P)包含具有下式的(全)氟聚醚链[链(Rpf)]:
-(CFX)aO(Rf)(CFX′)b-
其中
a和b彼此相同或不同,等于或大于1、优选从1至10、更优选从1至3;
X和X’彼此相同或不同,是-F或-CF3,其前提是当a和/或b大于1时,X和X’是-F;
(Rf)包含重复单元Ro、优选地由其组成,所述重复单元独立地选自下组,该组由以下各项组成:
(i)-CFXO-,其中X是F或CF3;
(ii)-CFXCFXO-,其中X在每次出现时相同或不同,是F或CF3,其前提是至少一个X是-F;
(iii)-(CF2)j-CFZ-O-,其中j是从0至3的整数并且Z是具有通式-O-R(f-a)-T的基团,其中R(f-a)是包含从0至10个重复单元数目的氟聚氧亚烷基链,所述重复单元在以下各项之中选择:-CFXO-、-CF2CFXO-,其中每个X独立地是F或CF3并且T是C1-C3全氟烷基。

-丙烯酸聚合物和共聚物;
-(全)氟聚合物;
-聚酯;
-聚酰胺酰亚胺(PAI)和聚醚酰亚胺(PEI);
-聚醚;
-含硫聚合物;
-聚氨酯(TPU)、氟化聚氨酯和丙烯腈聚合物。
7.根据权利要求6所述的组合物,其中,所述聚合物(F)是全氟聚合物。
8.根据权利要求7所述的组合物,其中,所述聚合物(F)是包含衍生自至少一种在下组中选择的全氟化单体的重复单元的全氟聚合物,该组包括:
(A)符合下式(A1)至(A3)之一的环状单体:

其中Rf4、Rf5、Rf6各自彼此相同或不同,独立地是氟原子、C1-C6全氟烷基,任选地包含一个或多个氧原子;

13.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中,所述组合物(C)包含以基于所述组合物(C)的总重量高于50wt.%并且最高达99.99wt.%、更优选从60wt.%至约99.95wt.%、甚至更优选从70wt.%至99.90wt.%的量的至少一种聚合物(P)。
14.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中,所述组合物(C)包含以基于所述组合物(C)的总重量从0.01wt.%至低于50wt.%、更优选从0.05wt.%至40wt.%、甚至更优选从0.10wt.%至30wt.%的量的至少一种聚合物(F)。
15.根据权利要求1至14中任一项所述的组合物(C)作为液压流体、阻尼介质、润滑剂或脱模剂的用途。
16.一种用于增加根据权利要求3和4所述的至少一种聚合物(P)的粘度的方法,所述方法包括使所述至少一种聚合物(P)与如权利要求5至12中任一项所定义的至少一种聚合物(F)接触。
