Abstract
The invention discloses a display panel, which comprises an effective display area, a common electrode, a wiring area and a circuit board. The effective display area comprises a virtual pixel electrode and a pixel electrode, the virtual pixel electrode is connected with an indium tin oxide signal line on the common electrode through at least one through hole, the surface of the through hole is plated with an indium tin oxide layer, and the indium tin oxide signal line is connected with a virtual data signal line in the wiring area. The circuit board comprises a driving circuit board and a control circuit board, wherein the control circuit board is electrically connected with the driving circuit board, and the driving circuit board is connected with the wiring area through a virtual data signal line.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a display panel, and more particularly, to a display panel with uniform display.
Background
At present, in order to improve the uniformity of the effective display area of the liquid crystal panel, a dummy pixel electrode is disposed in the effective display area, and the difference between the dummy pixel electrode and the normal pixel electrode is that the dummy pixel electrode is not connected to the tft and is in a floating state, so that when a voltage is applied, the liquid crystal on the dummy pixel electrode is still in a disordered state. In contrast, the normal pixel electrodes have corresponding potentials, so that the liquid crystal on the normal pixel electrodes exhibits a regular deflection state, but the non-uniform deflection of the liquid crystal at the edge of the display area may cause the display non-uniformity at the periphery.
Disclosure of Invention
An embodiment of the invention provides a display panel, which includes an effective display area and a common electrode. The effective display area comprises a virtual pixel electrode and a pixel electrode. The virtual pixel electrode is connected with the indium tin oxide signal line on the common electrode through at least one through hole.
In an embodiment of the invention, the display device further includes a trace region, wherein the ito signal lines are connected to the dummy data signal lines in the trace region.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the electronic device further includes a circuit board, wherein the circuit board includes a driving circuit board and a control circuit board, and the control circuit board is electrically connected to the driving circuit board.
In an embodiment of the invention, the control circuit board controls the potential of the pixel electrode through the data signal line.
In an embodiment of the invention, the driving circuit board is connected to the ito signal lines in the routing area through the dummy data lines and vias.
In an embodiment of the invention, the dummy pixel electrode and the common electrode are at the same potential.
In an embodiment of the invention, the gate line of the dummy pixel electrode is connected to a low potential.
In an embodiment of the invention, the dummy pixel electrode is not connected to the thin film transistor.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the surface of at least one via is plated with an indium tin oxide layer.
Another embodiment of the present invention provides a display device including a display panel. The display panel comprises an effective display area and a common electrode. The effective display area comprises a virtual pixel electrode and a pixel electrode. The virtual pixel electrode is connected with the indium tin oxide signal line on the common electrode through at least one through hole, wherein the surface of at least one through hole is plated with an indium tin oxide layer.
Compared with the prior art, the display panel provided by the invention can enable the effective display area of the display panel to display uniformly.

Detailed Description
In order to make the aforementioned and other objects of the invention more comprehensible, preferred embodiments accompanied with figures are described in detail below.
Referring to fig. 1, an embodiment of the invention provides a display panel, which includes an effective display area 10, a common electrode 20, a trace area 30 and a circuit board 40. The circuit board 40 includes a driving circuit board 50 and a control circuit board 60, the control circuit board 60 is electrically connected to the driving circuit board 50, and the driving circuit board 50 is connected to the ito signal line 80 in the routing area 30 through the dummy data signal line 70 and the via 75, the ito signal line 80 is connected to the common electrode 20, and the common electrode 20 is connected to the dummy pixel electrode disposed in the active display area 10 through a via hole with an ito layer plated on the surface. Specifically, the control circuit board 60 controls the potential of the pixel electrode through the data signal line, and the control circuit board 60 is electrically connected to the driving circuit board 50, and the driving circuit board 50 controls the potential of the virtual pixel electrode through the virtual data signal line 70, so that the liquid crystal deflection is consistent with the liquid crystal deflection on the normal pixel electrode, and the phenomenon of uneven display of the peripheral image of the effective display area 10 is reduced.
Referring to fig. 2, the dummy pixel electrode 100 of the display panel according to the embodiment of the invention is connected to the ito signal line 80 on the common electrode 20 through at least one via 90 coated with an ito layer. In detail, the dummy pixel electrode 100 and the common electrode 20 are at the same potential, and the gate line of the dummy pixel electrode 100 is connected to a low potential, and the dummy pixel electrode 100 is not connected to the thin film transistor. To ensure that the dummy pixel electrode does not work normally.
Another embodiment of the invention provides a method for manufacturing a display panel. The manufacturing method of the display panel comprises the step of forming a virtual pixel electrode in an effective display area. And forming at least one through hole between the virtual pixel electrode and the common electrode, wherein the surface of the through hole is plated with an indium tin oxide layer, and the virtual pixel electrode is connected with an indium tin oxide signal line on the common electrode through the through hole. A dummy data signal line connecting the ITO signal line and the trace region. The virtual data signal line is connected with the driving circuit board and the driving circuit board is electrically connected with the control circuit board. Specifically, the control circuit board is electrically connected with the driving circuit board, the driving circuit board is connected with the indium tin oxide signal line through the virtual data signal line and the rotary hole to control the potential of the virtual pixel electrode, the virtual pixel electrode and the common electrode are at the same potential, and the gate line of the virtual pixel is connected with a low potential.
Compared with the conventional liquid crystal display panel, the conventional liquid crystal display panel is provided with the virtual pixel electrode in the effective display area, and the virtual pixel electrode is different from the normal pixel electrode in that the virtual pixel electrode is not connected with the thin film transistor and is in a suspended state, so that when a voltage is applied, liquid crystals on the virtual pixel electrode are still in a disordered arrangement state, the liquid crystals on the virtual pixel electrode and the liquid crystals on the normal pixel electrode cannot deflect uniformly, and uneven display occurs on the periphery of the effective display area. However, the display panel and the manufacturing method of the display panel provided by the embodiment of the invention can make the effective display area of the display panel display uniformly. Specifically, the virtual pixel electrode is connected with the common electrode through a through hole with an indium tin oxide layer plated on the surface, and then is connected with the driving circuit board through a rotary hole in the wiring area, the driving circuit board is electrically connected with the control circuit board, and the control circuit board controls the potential of the virtual pixel electrode and controls the potential of the pixel electrode through a data signal line, so that the liquid crystal on the virtual pixel electrode and the liquid crystal on the normal pixel electrode are deflected uniformly, and therefore the peripheral image display of the effective display area of the display panel is uniform.
While the invention has been described in conjunction with specific embodiments thereof, it is to be understood that many alternatives, modifications, and variations will be apparent to those skilled in the art. Accordingly, it is intended to embrace all such alternatives, modifications, and variations that fall within the scope of the included claims.
Claims (10)
1. A display panel, comprising:
an effective display area including a virtual pixel electrode and a pixel electrode; and
and the virtual pixel electrode is connected with the indium tin oxide signal wire on the common electrode through at least one through hole.
2. The display panel of claim 1, further comprising a trace region, wherein the ITO signal lines are connected to dummy data signal lines in the trace region.
3. The display panel of claim 1, further comprising a circuit board, wherein the circuit board comprises a driving circuit board and a control circuit board, the control circuit board electrically connected to the driving circuit board.
4. The display panel according to claim 3, wherein the control circuit board controls a potential of the pixel electrode through a data signal line.
5. The display panel of claim 3, wherein the driving circuit board is connected to the ITO signal lines in the routing area through dummy data lines and vias.
6. The display panel according to claim 1, wherein the dummy pixel electrode and the common electrode are at the same potential.
7. The display panel according to claim 1, wherein the gate line of the dummy pixel electrode is connected to a low potential.
8. The display panel according to claim 1, wherein the dummy pixel electrode is not connected to a thin film transistor.
9. The display panel of claim 1, wherein a surface of the at least one via is plated with an indium tin oxide layer.
10. A display device, comprising: a display panel, wherein the display panel comprises: an effective display area including a virtual pixel electrode and a pixel electrode; and
and the virtual pixel electrode is connected with the indium tin oxide signal wire on the common electrode through at least one through hole, wherein the surface of the through hole is plated with an indium tin oxide layer.
