Detailed Description
The embodiment of the application provides an interference information reporting method and device, which are used for improving the efficiency of reporting a measurement result by an STA (station) and reducing the system overhead.
The terms "first," "second," "third," "fourth," and the like in the description and in the claims of the present application and in the drawings described above, if any, are used for distinguishing between similar elements and not necessarily for describing a particular sequential or chronological order. It will be appreciated that the data so used may be interchanged under appropriate circumstances such that the embodiments described herein may be implemented in other sequences than those illustrated or described herein. Moreover, the terms "comprises," "comprising," and "having," and any variations thereof, are intended to cover a non-exclusive inclusion, such that a process, method, system, article, or apparatus that comprises a list of steps or elements is not necessarily limited to those steps or elements expressly listed, but may include other steps or elements not expressly listed or inherent to such process, method, article, or apparatus.
Some terms in this document are explained below to facilitate understanding by those skilled in the art:
1. a beacon interval (BI for short), which is a period used for scheduling communications of each device in the communication system and is set for synchronization between a station and an access point in the communication system. One beacon period is divided into a plurality of access time periods, and each time period has different purposes and access mechanisms.
The access period in the beacon period will be briefly described below by taking the beacon period in the Wi-Fi system adopting the 802.11ad standard as an example. The beacon period includes: a Beacon Header Interval (BHI) and a Data Transfer Interval (DTI).
The BHI includes the following 3 intervals: a Beacon Transmission Interval (BTI), an association-beam training interval (a-BFT), and an Announcement Transmission Interval (ATI).
Within the BTI, the access point may broadcast one or more beacon frames. The access point may use different sector directions to transmit the beacon frames, and each beacon frame may carry an antenna Identifier (ID) and a sector identifier used when the access point transmits the beacon frame. The 802.11ad standard specifies that within one BTI, an access point cannot change the antenna that transmits the beacon frame.
And the A-BFT interval is used for realizing the A-BFT process. The A-BFT process comprises a beam direction training process and a beam feedback process. In the A-BFT process, the station can scan the sending beam sectors and the antennas in different directions, and the access point receives the beam sectors and the antennas in an omnidirectional manner; or the station transmits beam sectors and antennas in a fixed direction and the access point scans for beam sectors and antennas in different directions. In each A-BFT process, a station randomly selects one SSW Slot to send a sector scanning Frame (SSW Frame), and the station in each SSW Slot can send at least one SSW Frame to an access point. And the access point indicates the number of SSW frames which are allowed to be sent to the access point by the station in one SSW Slot through a beacon Frame. If the SSW Frame required to be sent by the site cannot be sent in one SSW Slot, the site can continue to send the SSW Frame in the next SSW Slot. After the station sends one or more SSW frames in an SSW Slot, the access point replies a sector scanning Feedback Frame (SSW-Feedback Frame) to the station based on the detected SSW Frame result. The access point replies the SSW-Feedback Frame at the end of one SSW Slot, and the time for the access point to reply the SSW-Feedback Frame needs to ensure that the station can send the maximum number of SSW frames.
The DTI includes Service Period (SP) and Contention Based Access Period (CBAP) in any number and order.
Any one SP is an access period allocated to a designated pair of stations. Only the pair of stations is allowed to communicate during this time period, and the other stations cannot preempt the channel.
Any CBAP is an access period allocated to all stations (a designated plurality of stations). During this time period, the station needs to access in a contention channel manner.
2. The access point set is embodied as a set formed by a plurality of APs through cooperation, and may also be referred to as a cluster formed by a plurality of APs through cooperation, and the access point set may also be referred to as a virtual AP, and the virtual AP may include: the multiple APs are managed by a central coordination AP, and based on the spatial multiplexing technology, the multiple APs in the virtual AP can simultaneously serve multiple stations, so as to achieve the purpose of increasing the system capacity. The centrally coordinated AP may be referred to as a master AP, and the other APs may be referred to as member APs. It is understood that other names are possible and the present application is not limited thereto.
The access point set may be applied to a next-generation wifi standard that performs communication using a 60GHz band, and for convenience of description in the embodiment of the present application, the access point set is referred to as a BPAC (BSS PCP/AP Cluster).
In the beacon period in the access point set, a probe interval may also be included, and for convenience of description, the probe interval in the access point set may be referred to as a BDI (BPAC discovery interval, abbreviated as BDI), and in the BDI, APs in the access point set may sequentially transmit probe frames in a sector scanning manner. The beacon period of the AP set may further include an association beam training interval, and different from an association beam training interval of an AP in a basic service set, in the association beam training interval of the AP set, a sector scanning frame sent by a station may be detected by one or more APs, so that the APs may interact their beam training information before feeding back the sector scanning feedback frame. In the embodiment of the present application, for convenience of description, the associated beam Training of the ap set is referred to as FA-BFT (Future Association Beamforming Training, abbreviated as FA-BFT), and it can be understood that the associated beam Training of the ap set may also have other names, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
3. And the measurement type is used for indicating the time interval type when the STA carries out interference measurement. Taking the beacon period in 802.11ad as an example, a station can perform interference measurement in an associated beam training interval a-BFT of an access point AP, and the time interval type indicated by the measurement type at this time is the associated beam training interval; for another example, the station may perform interference measurement in a beacon transmission interval of the access point AP, and the time interval type indicated by the measurement type at this time is the beacon transmission interval BTI; for example, the station may also perform interference measurement during the BDI period, and the time interval type indicated by the measurement type at this time is the measurement interval of the access point set. It is to be understood that the measurement type may also be referred to as a measurement period, a measurement time, and the like, and the embodiment of the present application is not particularly limited.
4. And the opposite terminal STA: when the STA performs measurement, a receiving antenna is aligned with a peer STA (peer STA), which may be an AP providing services for the STA, or in a device to device (device to device, abbreviated as D2D) scenario, the peer STA may be an STA that has previously performed beam training with the STA.
5. Measurement period (Measurement Duration): the length of time when interference measurements are made for that STA.
6. Measurement Unit (Measurement Unit): the unit duration of the interference strength value of the interference is measured for the STA. For example, when the measurement unit is 2 seconds, the unit time length of interference measurement performed by the STA is 2 seconds, and the obtained measurement result is an average noise plus interference power indicator (ANIPI).
7. Number of measurement units (Number of Time Blocks): the number of measurement units of interference is measured for the STA. For example, if the number of the measurement units is 2, the STA measures and calculates the interference strength in two measurement units.
With the development of wireless networks and the increasing popularization of Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) technology, WLAN devices become more and more dense. With the intensive deployment of the AP devices, a mode in which a plurality of APs simultaneously serve a plurality of STAs may be employed to achieve the purpose of increasing the system capacity. While increasingly dense APs also present more interference issues, in scenarios where multiple APs simultaneously serve multiple STAs, communications between an AP and a STA are typically subject to interference including interference from neighboring APs and interference from STAs served by neighboring APs.
Fig. 1 shows an exemplary application scenario of the embodiment of the present application, where a cluster (access point set) includes three APs, which are AP1, AP2, and AP3; in which AP1 serves STA11, AP2 serves STA21 and STA22, and AP3 serves STA31, STA32, and STA 33. When AP1 transmits data to STA11, if STA21 is receiving data transmitted by AP2, the receiving antenna of STA21 is aligned with the transmitting antenna of AP1, so that AP1 causes strong interference to STA 21. In this case, AP2 may be an opposite STA to STA 21.
Fig. 2 shows another exemplary application scenario of the embodiment of the present application, in which a cluster (access point set) includes three APs, that is, AP1, AP2, and AP3; where AP1 serves STA11, AP2 serves STA21, and AP3 serves STA31, STA32, and STA 33. While the STA11 is receiving data transmitted by the AP1, if the STA33 is transmitting data to the AP3, the STA33 causes interference to the STA 11. In this case, the AP1 may be a peer STA to the STA 11.
For the above two types of interference (interference from the neighboring AP, interference from an STA associated with the neighboring AP) measurement reports are reported to the AP by the STA, so the two types of measurement reports are defined separately and are not considered jointly, so that the reporting efficiency of the measurement result is low.
The embodiment of the application provides the following technical scheme: the STA performs interference measurement on interference signals in different time intervals and obtains corresponding measurement results, and then generates measurement report frames including one or more measurement report fields and one or more measurement types according to the measurement results, where the measurement report fields and the measurement types are in one-to-one correspondence. The measurement report field is used for indicating a measurement result of at least one interference measured by the STA, and the measurement type is used for indicating a time interval type of the at least one interference measured by the STA; and finally, the STA sends the measurement report frame to the AP. Because the STA reports the measurement results of a plurality of measurement types to the AP in the same measurement report frame, the reporting times of the STA are reduced, the efficiency of reporting the measurement results by the STA can be improved, and the system overhead is reduced.
Referring to fig. 3, a further exemplary application scenario provided in the embodiment of the present application is shown, and fig. 3 shows a Wireless Local Access Network (WLAN) communication system. The communication system includes access points AP, STA1, STA2, and STA 3. It should be understood that the number of APs and STAs in the WLAN communication system is only exemplary and is not limited to the embodiment of the present application.
It can be understood that the scheme of the embodiment of the present application can also be used in an application scenario as shown in fig. 1 or fig. 2. The communication systems shown in fig. 1 to 3 do not limit the communication systems to which the embodiments of the present application can be applied. Therefore, the method provided by the embodiment of the present application is applicable to various communication systems, for example: global system for mobile communications (GSM) systems, code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) systems, wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) systems, general Packet Radio Service (GPRS) systems, long Term Evolution (LTE) systems, LTE Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) systems, LTE Time Division Duplex (TDD) systems, universal Mobile Telecommunications Systems (UMTS) systems, worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) systems, and other future communication systems.
As will be appreciated by those skilled in the art, the above-mentioned STAs referred to in the present application may also be various User terminals, user Equipment, access devices, subscriber stations, subscriber units, mobile stations, user agents, user Equipment or other names with wireless communication functions, wherein the User terminals may include various handheld devices, vehicle-mounted devices, wearable devices, computing devices or other processing devices connected to wireless modems with wireless communication functions, as well as various forms of User Equipment (UE), mobile Stations (MS), terminals (Terminal), terminal Equipment (Terminal Equipment), portable communication devices, handsets, portable computing devices, entertainment devices, gaming devices or systems, global positioning system devices or any other suitable devices configured to perform network communication via a wireless medium, and so on. Herein, for convenience of description, the above-mentioned devices are collectively referred to as a station or STA.

It can be understood that the access point and the station in the embodiment of the present application may be AP2 and STA21 in fig. 1 or fig. 2, may also be access point AP1 and station STA11, and may also be access point AP3 and STA31; but also the AP and the station in fig. 3.
The technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application are described below with reference to more drawings. Fig. 4 shows an interference information reporting method according to an embodiment of the present application, where the method includes:
401. the method includes the steps that a STA generates a measurement report frame, the measurement report frame comprises N measurement report fields and N measurement types, the N measurement types correspond to the N measurement report fields in a one-to-one mode, the measurement types are used for indicating the time interval type of at least one interference measured by the STA, the measurement report fields are used for indicating the at least one interference measured by the STA, and N is an integer larger than or equal to 1.
The STA measures the interference from the AP of the neighboring cell or the interference from the STA provided with service by the neighboring AP to obtain a measurement result; the STA then generates a measurement report frame from the measurement result.
It should be understood that, in this embodiment, the measurement report frame may be generated by the STA when it is determined that the measurement result satisfies the reporting condition. In one example, the STA and the AP agree that when an interference value indicated by a measurement result exceeds a preset value, the STA reports the measurement result to the AP; or the STA orders the interference values indicated by the obtained measurement results from large to small, and reports a plurality of interference values in front.
402. The STA reports the measurement report frame to the AP.
After the STA generates the measurement report frame, the STA transmits the measurement report frame to the AP.
Optionally, the measurement report frame may further include other related information, such as a sending end address or identifier, a receiving end address or identifier, a frame type, an address or identifier of an opposite end STA, and other information. Specific structures may include, but are not limited to, the following:
in one possible implementation, an exemplary frame structure of the measurement report frame is shown in table 1, where the measurement report frame includes a measurement type and a measurement report field: when the STA performs interference measurement in one measurement time interval, the frame structure shown in table 1 may be used to report the measurement result, or when the STA performs interference measurement in multiple measurement time intervals and sequentially uploads the measurement results measured in multiple measurement time intervals in a serial manner, the frame structure shown in table 1 may be used to sequentially report multiple measurement results.

TABLE 3
Figure RE-GDA0001721000850000193
When the STA performs interference measurement in multiple measurement time intervals, the STA may adopt a frame structure shown in table 2 or table 3 to report measurement results corresponding to multiple measurement types at the same time.
In another possible implementation manner, the measurement report frame may further include a domain type, or the measurement report frame further includes a domain type, another domain type, and another domain, where the domain type is used to indicate the measurement report domain carried in the measurement report frame, and the other domain type and the other domain are used to indicate the other domain carried in the measurement report frame. The measurement types in the measurement types may include, but are not limited to, the following:
and performing access point set sounding interval measurement, namely, a time interval for instructing the STA to perform interference measurement is an access point set sounding interval.
The service period measurement, that is, the time interval for instructing the STA to perform interference measurement, is a time period scheduled by the AP.
And the periodic measurement is used for indicating that the time interval of the interference measurement performed by the STA is the periodic time period scheduled by the AP.
And self-selecting measurement, wherein the time interval for indicating the STA to perform interference measurement is the time period selected by the STA. For example, the STA chooses to make interference measurements in the time interval T1, T2.
And beacon transmission interval measurement, which is used for indicating the time interval of interference measurement of the STA to be a beacon transmission interval.
And the associated beam training measurement is used for indicating that the time interval of the interference measurement of the STA is the associated beam training interval. Meanwhile, according to the different measurement types, the content included in the measurement report field corresponding to the measurement type may also be different, which specifically includes the following:
in a possible implementation manner, a number or an index may be set for each measurement type, and a value of the measurement type may be a number or an index corresponding to the measurement type. For example, the number of the sounding interval of the ap set may be 1, the number of the serving time interval measurement may be 2, the number of the periodic measurement may be 3, the number of the optional measurement may be 4, the number of the beacon transmission interval measurement may be 5, and so on, and when the value of the measurement type is 1, the measurement between the sounding intervals of the ap set may be indicated.
In another possible implementation, the measurement type may be in the form of a bitmap to indicate the measurement type. In one example, if W measurement types are included in total, each measurement type may indicate the measurement type using a bitmap of W bits, where W bits in the bitmap correspond to the W measurement types one to one. For example, if W =6, that is, the measurement types include 6 measurement types, i.e., access point set sounding interval measurement, service time period measurement, periodic measurement, optional measurement, beacon transmission interval measurement, and associated beam training measurement, a value of the measurement type may be 100000 to indicate access point set sounding interval measurement, a value of the measurement type may be 001000 to indicate periodic measurement, and the like.
In one possible implementation, when the measurement type is an access point set detection interval measurement or a beacon transmission interval measurement or an associated beam training measurement, the measurement report field may include at least one first interference information; or; the measurement report field may include: the measurement report domain comprises at least one first interference information and at least one interference strength indication, wherein when the measurement report domain comprises the at least one first interference information and the at least one interference strength indication, the at least one first interference information and the at least one interference strength indication are in one-to-one correspondence, the interference strength indication is used for indicating the strength of an interference signal corresponding to the interference information detected by the STA, and the first interference information is used for indicating the identification of the interference signal detected by the STA.
In an example, when only a plurality of first interference information are included in the measurement report field, an example of the structure of the measurement report field may be as shown in table 4, where X is an integer greater than or equal to 1, and it can be understood that when 1 interference information is included in the measurement report field, the value of X is 1. Optionally, the measurement report field may further include identification information or interference number for indicating the number of the first interference information.

In another example, when a first interference information and an interference strength indicator are included in the measurement report field, the structure of the measurement report field may be as shown in table 5.
TABLE 5

In another example, when a plurality of first interference information and a plurality of interference strength indications are included in the measurement report field, an interference number may also be included in the measurement report field to indicate a number of the first interference information and the interference strength indication. An exemplary structure of the measurement report field may be as shown in table 6, where when the value of X is 1, table 6 includes a first interference information and an interference strength indicator.

In yet another example, when a plurality of first interference information and a plurality of interference strength indications are included in the measurement report field, an interference number may also be included in the measurement report field to indicate a number of the first interference information and the interference strength indication. An exemplary structure of the measurement report field may be as shown in table 7, where when the value of X is 1, table 7 includes a first interference information and an interference strength indicator:

In another example, the measurement report field may further include X pieces of identification information, where the X pieces of identification information correspond to the X pieces of first interference information and the interference strength indicator one to one. The identification information i may be used to indicate whether the first interference information i and the interference strength indication i are further included, or whether the first interference information i and the interference strength indication i included after the identification information i are in a last group, where i is less than or equal to X and greater than or equal to 1. For example, 1 bit may be used to indicate whether the interference information and the interference strength indication corresponding to the bit are the last group. For example, when the bit value of the identification information 1 is 1, at least one set of interference information and interference strength indication is provided after the first interference information 1 and the interference strength indication 1 are indicated. It will be appreciated that the location of this identification information field may vary. An exemplary structure of the measurement report field may be as shown in table 8:
TABLE 8
Figure RE-GDA0001721000850000212
When the STA measures interference information for one interference in a time interval corresponding to the measurement type, the measurement report domain corresponding to the measurement type includes 1 interference information, and optionally, may further include an interference strength indication corresponding to the interference information.
When the STA measures interference information for multiple interferences in a time interval corresponding to a measurement type, a measurement report domain corresponding to the measurement type includes X interference information, and optionally, may further include X interference strength indications corresponding to the X interference information.
In another possible implementation manner, when the measurement type is periodic measurement or service time period measurement or optional measurement, the measurement report field includes at least one interference strength indication; or, the measurement report domain includes at least one interference strength indication and at least one second interference information, where when the measurement report domain includes at least one interference strength indication and at least one second interference information, the at least one second interference information and the at least one interference strength indication are in one-to-one correspondence, the interference strength indication is used to indicate a strength of an interference signal corresponding to the at least one interference information detected by the STA, and the second interference information is used to indicate information of a measurement time interval in which the STA performs interference measurement on the interference signal.
In an example, when the measurement report field includes the interference strength indicator, an example of the structure of the measurement report field may be as shown in table 9, where Y is an integer greater than or equal to 1, and it is understood that when the measurement report field includes the interference strength indicator, Y takes a value of 1. Optionally, the measurement report field may further include identification information or interference number for indicating the number of the first interference information.

In another example, when a second interference information and an interference strength indicator are included in the measurement report field, an example of the structure of the measurement report field may be as shown in table 10:

Second interference information Interference strength indication
In another example, when a plurality of second interference information and a plurality of interference strength indications are included in the measurement report field, an interference number may also be included in the measurement report field to indicate a number of the second interference information and the interference strength indication. An exemplary structure of the measurement report field may be as shown in table 11, where when the value of Y is 1, table 11 includes a second interference information and an interference strength indicator:
TABLE 11
Figure RE-GDA0001721000850000221
In another example, when a plurality of second interference information and a plurality of interference strength indications are included in the measurement report domain, an interference number may also be included in the measurement report domain to indicate the number of the second interference information and the interference strength indications. In another example, the measurement report field may further include Y pieces of identification information, where the Y pieces of identification information correspond to Y pieces of second interference information and interference strength indications in a one-to-one manner, and the identification information j may be used to indicate whether a second interference information j and an interference strength indication j are further included, or whether a second interference information j and an interference strength indication j included after the identification information j are a last group, where j is less than or equal to Y and is greater than or equal to 1. For example, when the bit value of the identification information 1 is 1, at least one set of interference information and interference strength indication is provided after indicating the second interference information 1 and the interference strength indication 1. It will be appreciated that the location of this identification information field may vary. An exemplary structure of the measurement report field may be as shown in table 13:

Figure RE-GDA0001721000850000223
The interference strength indication included in the measurement report field may be: the STA detects the power of the interference signal corresponding to the interference information, or detects average noise interference power index ANIPI information corresponding to the interference signal corresponding to the interference information for the STA.
Specifically, the ANIPI information may include, but is not limited to, the following possible implementations:
in one possible implementation, the ANIPI information is at least one ANIPI value measured by at least one measurement unit;
in another possible implementation, the ANIPI information is a maximum value or an average value or a median value of a plurality of ANIPI values measured by the STA in at least one measurement unit. For example, the STA measures the ANIPI values of 3 measurement units to obtain 3 ANIPI values, selects the maximum value of the 3 ANIPI values, or selects the median of the 3 ANIPI values, or calculates the average of the 3 ANIPI values and reports it.
The structure of the ANIPI information in the measurement report field may be defined as an ANIPI measurement sub-field, which is known from several possible implementations of the ANIPI information, and includes, but is not limited to, the following possible implementations:
the ANIPI measurement sub-field includes an ANIPI value, as shown in table 14:
TABLE 14

The ANIPI measurement sub-field includes a plurality of ANIPI values, as shown in table 15:

The ANIPI measurement sub-field includes a plurality of ANIPI values and also includes the number of ANIPI values, as shown in table 16:
TABLE 16
Number of ANIPIs ANIPI value 1 ANIPI value 2 …… ANIPI value S
Wherein when the STA selects an average value or a median value or a maximum value of a plurality of ANIPI values measured in at least one measurement unit as a report value; or when the STA measures an ANIPI value in a measurement unit and reports the ANIPI value in the measurement unit; or when the STA reports any one of the multiple ANIPI values in the at least one measurement unit, the STA may report the ANIPI value by using the measurement sub-domain structure shown in table 14; when the STA needs to report all at least one ANIPI value obtained by measurement by at least one measurement unit, or when the STA needs to obtain one ANIPI value for each L measurement units in the K measurement units and report K/L ANIPI values, a measurement sub-domain structure shown in table 15 may be used for reporting; optionally, the measurement sub-field may further include an ANIPI number field for indicating the number of ANIPI values reported by the STA, and at this time, the structure of the measurement sub-field shown in table 16 may be adopted for reporting.
In another example, the STA measures a plurality of ANIPI values in at least one measurement unit, uses the ANIPI value of the first measurement unit as a reference value, calculates a difference between the ANIPI value of the measurement unit except the first measurement unit and the reference value to obtain a plurality of differential values, and reports the reference value and the plurality of differential values to save signaling overhead.
The interference information and the interference strength indication have different specific contents according to different measurement types, and the following detailed description is provided:
1. the measurement type is an access point set detection interval measurement (such as a BDI measurement) or a beacon transmission interval measurement (such as a BTI measurement).
In a measurement report field in a measurement report frame of the BDI measurement or the BTI measurement, any one of the X first interference information may include, but is not limited to, at least one of an antenna identifier of an interfering device and a sector identifier of the interfering device, and any one of the X interference strength indicators may be any one of a power at which the STA detects an interference signal corresponding to the interference information or an average noise interference power indicator ANIPI information at which the STA detects an interference signal corresponding to the interference information.
In this embodiment, the antenna identifier of the interfering device may be an identification number of an antenna, a code of the antenna, or a number of the antenna; the sector identifier of the interfering device may also be an identification number of a sector, a code of a sector, or a number of a sector, and the specific situation is not limited herein.
Thus, the structure of the measurement reporting domain of a BDI measurement or BTI measurement includes, but is not limited to, the following structures:
the measurement report field carries interference in only one antenna direction, and an exemplary structure of the measurement report field is shown in table 17.
TABLE 17
Figure RE-GDA0001721000850000241
The measurement report domain carries interference in multiple antenna directions, and optionally, the measurement report domain may further include a number of reported interference, which is used to indicate the number of interference reported in the measurement report domain. It can be understood that, when the measurement report field includes both interference information and interference strength indication, the number of reported interferences is equal to both the number of interference information and the number of interference strength indication. Another exemplary structure of the measurement report field is shown in table 18.

2. The measurement type is an associated beam training measurement (such as FA-BFT or A-BFT).

The interference strength indication is the power of the interference signal corresponding to the interference information detected by the STA, or the average noise interference power indicator ANIPI information of the interference signal corresponding to the interference information detected by the STA.
In an example of this embodiment, the sector scanning period identifier of the interfering device may be an identifier of an SSW Slot where interference detected by the STA is located, and the sector scanning Frame identifier of the interfering device may be an identifier of an SSW Frame corresponding to the interference detected by the STA. The sector scanning time period identifier of the interfering device and the sector scanning frame identifier of the interfering device may be identified by an identity identifier, a code or a number, and the specific manner is not limited here.
Thus, the structure of the measurement report domain of the FA-BFT or A-BFT measurement includes, but is not limited to, the following structures:

Optionally, the measurement report domain may further include a number of interference reports, so as to indicate the number of interference reported in the measurement report domain. It can be understood that, when the measurement report field includes both interference information and interference strength indication, the number of reported interferences is equal to both the number of interference information and the number of interference strength indication. The identification information included in the measurement report field may be located before the interference information corresponding to the identification information field, or located after the interference strength field corresponding to the identification information field, and is specifically used to indicate whether there is any other interference after the identification information field, or may be used to indicate whether the interference after the identification information field is the last interference. The embodiments of the present application are not particularly limited.
For ease of understanding, reference is made to fig. 1, which illustrates STA21 as a station performing interference measurement. For example, STA21 measures interference from AP1 and also measures interference from AP3 during the BDI interval of the access point set; and STA21 measures interference from STA32 for an optional period of time. Therefore, the measurement report frame generated by STA21 includes: 2 measurement types and 2 measurement report fields corresponding to the 2 measurement types, wherein the measurement type indicated by the first measurement type is a BDI measurement, and the measurement type indicated by the second measurement type is an optional measurement. In one example, a first measurement report field corresponding to a first measurement type includes 2 first interference information indicating interference from AP1 and interference from AP3, respectively; the second measurement report field corresponding to the second measurement type may include 1 second interference information indicating a measurement time interval of the selected measurement.
In this embodiment, the STA simultaneously reports the measurement results obtained through measurement in multiple time intervals to the AP, so that the reporting efficiency is improved, and the signaling overhead is saved. Secondly, the measurement results in different measurement time intervals can be reported by adopting a unified frame structure, and a receiving end does not need to independently analyze various types of measurement report frames, so that the complexity of the receiving end is reduced.
Referring to fig. 5, another interference information reporting method according to the embodiment of the present application is shown, where the method includes:
501. the AP generates a measurement configuration frame, where the measurement configuration frame includes M measurement types and M measurement configuration fields, where the M measurement types are in one-to-one correspondence with the M measurement configuration fields, the measurement configuration fields are used to instruct the STA to perform interference measurement according to measurement parameters included in the measurement configuration fields, the measurement type is used to instruct the STA to measure a time interval type of at least one interference, and M is an integer greater than or equal to 1.
502. The AP sends the measurement configuration frame to the STA.
The AP may transmit the measurement configuration frame to the STA in a one-to-one transmission scheme or a one-to-many transmission scheme or a broadcast transmission scheme.
503. The STA generates a measurement report frame according to the measurement configuration frame.
After receiving the measurement configuration frame, the STA generates a corresponding measurement report frame after interference measurement is completed according to the measurement type indicated by the measurement configuration frame, where the measurement report frame includes N measurement report fields and N measurement types, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 1, the measurement configuration field is used to indicate the STA to perform interference measurement according to measurement parameters in the measurement configuration field, and the measurement type is used to indicate a time interval type when the STA measures the at least one interference.
The M may be equal to the N, or greater or less than the N, depending on how many measurement types the STA reports.
In an example, if M is greater than N, the station reports measurement results corresponding to N measurement types of the M measurement types. For example, the measurement configuration frame indicates 6 measurement types, and if the STA only obtains measurement results of 4 measurement types of the 6 measurement types by measurement within a specified time, the measurement report frame includes 4 measurement report fields or 4 measurement report fields and 4 measurement types;
in another example, if M is smaller than N, the station reports measurement results corresponding to M measurement types. For example, if the measurement configuration frame indicates 6 measurement types, and the STA obtains measurement results of 7 measurement types through measurement, the STA may upload only the measurement results corresponding to the 6 measurement types specified by the access point AP, and the measurement report frame generated by the STA includes the measurement results corresponding to the 6 measurement types indicated by the measurement configuration frame in the 7 measurement types: it is to be understood that, in this case, the measurement report frame may not include 6 measurement types, only include the measurement results corresponding to the 6 measurement types, and the order of the measurement results may correspond to the order of the measurement types indicated by the measurement configuration frame;
in another example, if M is smaller than N, the station reports measurement results corresponding to N measurement types. For example, if the measurement configuration frame indicates 6 measurement types, and the STA obtains measurement results of 7 measurement types through measurement, the STA may report the measurement results corresponding to 6 measurement types specified by the AP, and may also report the measurement result corresponding to another measurement type to the AP.
In another example, if M is equal to N, the station reports measurement results corresponding to M measurement types. For example, if the measurement configuration frame indicates 6 measurement types, and the STA measures the measurement results of the 6 measurement types indicated by the measurement configuration frame, the STA may report the measurement results corresponding to the 6 measurement types specified by the AP, and the measurement report frame generated by the STA includes the measurement results corresponding to the 6 measurement types indicated by the measurement configuration frame: it is to be understood that, in this case, the measurement report frame may also include no 6 measurement types, only the measurement results corresponding to the 6 measurement types, and the order of the measurement results may correspond to the order of the measurement types indicated by the measurement configuration frame;
it can be understood that, in one scenario, the STA may perform measurement according to the measurement type indicated by the measurement configuration frame, for example, the measurement configuration frame indicates that the measurement configuration frame includes 6 measurement types, and after receiving the measurement configuration frame, the station performs measurement of the 6 measurement types respectively to obtain measurement results; in another situation, after the station performs measurement by itself, the station may report a measurement result corresponding to the measurement type indicated by the measurement configuration frame. For example, the station measures itself and obtains measurement results of 8 measurement types, the measurement configuration frame indicates 6 measurement types, 4 measurement types of the 8 measurement types measured by the station itself correspond to 4 measurement types of the 6 measurement types indicated by the measurement configuration frame, and the station reports the measurement results corresponding to the 4 measurement types.
Taking fig. 2 as an example, it is assumed that access point AP2 sends a measurement configuration frame to station STA21, where the measurement configuration frame includes 3 measurement types, which are a-BFT measurement, discretionary measurement, and BDI measurement, respectively. In one case, after receiving the measurement configuration frame, the STA21 measures interference from the AP1 and also measures interference from the AP3 in the BDI interval of the AP set; and STA21 measures interference from STA32 for an optional period of time; and no interference is measured during the a-BFT period. Therefore, the measurement report frame generated by STA21 includes: two measurement types and measurement report fields corresponding to the two measurement types. One of the measurement types is BDI measurement, and the corresponding measurement report field includes interference measurement results from AP1 and interference measurement results from AP3, and the other measurement type is measurement selected and the corresponding measurement report field includes measurement results in the selected time period. In another case, before receiving the measurement configuration frame, the STA21 measures interference from the AP1 and also measures interference from the AP3 in the BDI interval of the AP set; and STA21 measures interference from STA32 for an optional period of time; during the a-BFT period, no interference is measured, and during the SP period, interference from STA33 is measured. Station STA21 may buffer the measurement result, and after receiving the measurement configuration frame, determine that the measurement result that may be fed back is: the BDI measures the corresponding measurement, and, optionally, measures the corresponding measurement. It is understood that other scenarios are also included, which are not listed here.
In this embodiment, the structure of the measurement report frame is the same as that of the measurement report frame in the embodiment shown in fig. 4, and is not described herein again.
504. The STA reports the measurement report frame to the AP.
The STA sends the measurement report frame to the AP.
In this embodiment, the measurement configuration frame further includes, but is not limited to, information of at least one of a sending end address or identifier, a receiving end address or identifier, a frame type, an address combination field, a measurement type number, and the like.
The address or identifier of the sending end may be an AP Media Access Control (MAC) address, or an address such as an AP AID.
The receiver address or identification may be a broadcast address or broadcast AID, STA MAC address or STA AID, STA group address or group ID, etc.
The address combination field is used to indicate the address of one or more STAs.
And the number of the measurement types is used for indicating the number of the measurement types when a plurality of measurement types are included in the measurement configuration frame.
As can be seen from the above description, the structure of the measurement configuration frame may include, but is not limited to, the following ways:
in one possible implementation, an exemplary frame structure of the measurement configuration frame is shown in table 40, where the measurement configuration frame includes a measurement type and a measurement configuration field: when the AP needs the interference measurement result of one measurement time interval, the frame structure shown in table 40 may be used to transmit the measurement request, or when the AP needs the STA to measure multiple measurement time intervals and serially and sequentially transmit multiple measurement requests, the frame structure shown in table 40 may be used to sequentially transmit multiple measurement requests.

In another possible implementation manner, another exemplary frame structure of the measurement configuration frame is shown in table 41, where the measurement configuration frame includes a plurality of measurement types and a plurality of measurement configuration fields, where the plurality of measurement types and the plurality of measurement configuration fields are in one-to-one correspondence. It is to be understood that when M is equal to 1, the measurement configuration frame includes a measurement type and a measurement configuration field.

In another possible implementation manner, another exemplary frame structure of the measurement configuration frame is shown in table 42, where the measurement configuration frame includes a plurality of measurement types and a plurality of measurement configuration fields, where the plurality of measurement types and the plurality of measurement configuration fields are in one-to-one correspondence. It is understood that when M is equal to 1, the measurement configuration frame includes a measurement type and a measurement configuration field.

Figure RE-GDA0001721000850000331
When the AP needs the STA to report the measurement results in multiple measurement time intervals, the AP may adopt the frame structures shown in table 41 and table 42 to simultaneously transmit the measurement parameters corresponding to multiple measurement types.
In another possible implementation manner, the measurement configuration frame may further include a domain type, or the measurement configuration frame further includes a domain type, another domain type, and another domain, where the domain type is used to indicate the measurement configuration domain carried in the measurement configuration frame, and the other domain type and the other domain are used to indicate the other domain carried in the measurement configuration frame. Optionally, the measurement parameters in the measurement configuration domain may include, but are not limited to: at least one of a measurement switch, a measurement report threshold, a measurement unit and the number of measurement units. The measurement switch is used for indicating whether the interference measurement corresponding to the measurement type is started or not; the measurement reporting threshold is used to indicate the reporting condition of the STA to the measurement report field corresponding to the measurement type. In one example, when the measurement configuration domain includes a measurement reporting threshold, and the measurement reporting threshold is a valid value, the STA may generate and report a measurement report frame with a measurement result obtained by measurement when the measurement reporting threshold is met; in another example, if the measurement reporting threshold is not included in the measurement configuration domain or is an invalid value or a reserved bit, the STA may generate and report a measurement report frame with the measurement result obtained through measurement when the measurement result satisfies a threshold agreed by a protocol.
And the measurement units and the number of the measurement units are used for indicating the STA to calculate the interference strength indication corresponding to the measurement type. In one example, if the measurement configuration frame includes measurement units or the number of measurement units, the STA may measure an ANIPI value of each measurement unit, and report the ANIPI value as a measurement result respectively; or, the STA reports the maximum value, the median value or the average value of the multiple ANIPI values of the multiple measurement units; or the STA reports any one of the ANIPI values of the measurement units; or, the STA reports a part of ANIPI values selected from the plurality of ANIPI values of the plurality of measurement units; if the measurement configuration frame does not include the measurement unit or the measurement configuration frame includes the measurement unit, but the measurement unit is an invalid value or a reserved bit, the STA determines a calculation method of the interference strength indication according to different measurement types.
Optionally, the measurement parameter further includes measurement time indication information, where the measurement time indication information is used to indicate a measurement time for the STA to perform interference measurement. For example, what time the STA starts to perform measurement, what the measurement duration is, and the like are indicated.
In this embodiment, the measurement parameters in the measurement configuration field are also different according to different measurement types.
1. The measurement type is access point set detection interval measurement (such as BDI measurement) or beacon transmission interval measurement (such as BTI measurement).
In the measurement configuration domain of the BDI measurement or the BTI measurement, the measurement parameter includes, but is not limited to, at least one of a measurement switch, a measurement reporting threshold, a measurement unit, and a number of measurement units.
Wherein, the measurement switch is used for indicating whether the BDI measurement or the BTI measurement is started or not.
If the measurement configuration field does not include the measurement switch or the measurement switch included in the measurement configuration field is on, the STA keeps performing the BDI measurement or the BTI measurement after receiving the measurement configuration frame until the STA receives a measurement configuration frame with the next measurement switch off; if the measurement switch included in the measurement configuration field is off, the STA stops BDI measurement or BTI measurement after receiving the measurement configuration frame; or, when a measurement switch included in the measurement configuration field is off, the STA stops the BDI measurement or the BTI measurement after the current BDI measurement or the BTI measurement ends after receiving the measurement configuration frame.
The measurement reporting threshold is used for indicating the STA to generate and report a measurement report frame when a measurement result obtained by BDI measurement or BTI measurement satisfies the reporting threshold. When the measurement reporting threshold is not included in the measurement configuration frame or is an invalid value or a reserved bit, the STA generates and reports a measurement report frame when a measurement result obtained by BDI measurement or BTI measurement meets a preset condition agreed by a protocol; if the measurement reporting threshold in the measurement configuration domain is a valid value, the STA generates a measurement report frame and reports the measurement report frame when the measurement result obtained by the BDI measurement or the BTI measurement is greater than or equal to the valid value of the measurement reporting threshold.
The measurement unit and the number of the measurement units are used for indicating the mode adopted by the STA to calculate the interference strength indication of the BDI measurement or the BTI measurement. If the measurement unit is not included in the measurement configuration field of the BDI measurement or the BTI measurement or the measurement unit is an invalid value or a reserved bit, the STA will measure the received power of the BPAC probe frame or measure the received power of the beacon frame; if the measurement configuration domain of the BDI measurement or the BTI measurement includes the measurement unit and the measurement unit is an effective value, the STA will measure an ANIPI value of each measurement unit and report the ANIPI values respectively; or, the STA reports the maximum value, the median value or the average value of the multiple ANIPI values of the multiple measurement units; or the STA reports any one of the ANIPI values of the measurement units; or, the STA may report a selected part of the multiple ANIPI values of the multiple measurement units.
The structure of the measurement configuration domain of the BDI measurement or BTI measurement may include, but is not limited to, the following several possible implementations:
in one possible implementation, the measurement configuration domain includes a measurement switch, a measurement reporting threshold, and a measurement unit, which is specifically shown in table 43:
watch 43
Measuring switch Measurement reporting threshold Measurement Unit
In another possible implementation manner, the measurement configuration field includes a measurement switch, which is specifically shown in table 44:
watch 44
Figure RE-GDA0001721000850000341
In one example, the configuration shown in table 43 is adopted when the measurement switch is on, and the configuration shown in table 44 is adopted when the measurement switch is off. In another example, if the structure shown in table 43 is adopted when the measurement switch is off, the measurement reporting threshold and the measurement unit may be invalid values or reserved bits.
2. The measurement type is an associated beam training measurement (such as a FA-BFT measurement or an A-BFT measurement).
In the measurement configuration domain of the FA-BFT measurement or the a-BFT measurement, the measurement parameters include at least one of measurement switches, measurement reporting thresholds, measurement units, the number of measurement units, and measurement type related parameters.
Wherein the measurement switch is configured to indicate whether the FA-BFT measurement or A-BFT measurement is on. If the measurement configuration field does not include the measurement switch or the measurement switch is on, the STA keeps performing the FA-BFT measurement or a-BFT measurement after receiving the measurement configuration frame until the STA receives a measurement configuration frame with the next measurement switch off; if the measurement switch included in the measurement configuration domain is off, the STA stops FA-BFT measurement or A-BFT measurement after receiving the measurement configuration frame; or, when a measurement switch included in the measurement configuration field is off, the STA stops the FA-BFT measurement or a-BFT measurement after the current FA-BFT measurement or a-BFT measurement ends after receiving the measurement configuration frame.
The measurement reporting threshold is used for indicating the STA to generate a measurement report frame and report the frame when a measurement result obtained by the FA-BFT measurement or the A-BFT measurement meets the reporting threshold. When the measurement reporting threshold is not included in the measurement configuration domain or is an invalid value or a reserved bit, the STA generates and reports a measurement report frame when a measurement result obtained by FA-BFT measurement or A-BFT measurement meets a preset condition agreed by a protocol; if the measurement configuration domain includes a measurement reporting threshold, and the measurement reporting threshold is an effective value, the STA generates a measurement report frame and reports the measurement report frame when a measurement result obtained by the FA-BFT measurement or the a-BFT measurement is greater than or equal to the effective value of the measurement reporting threshold.
The measurement unit and the number of the measurement units are used for indicating the mode adopted by the STA to calculate the interference strength indication of the FA-BFT measurement or the A-BFT measurement. In one example, if the measurement unit is not included in the measurement configuration field of the FA-BFT measurement or a-BFT measurement or is an invalid value or a reserved bit, the STA will measure the received power of the sector sweep frame; if the measurement configuration domain of the FA-BFT measurement or A-BFT measurement comprises the measurement unit which is an effective value, the STA will measure the ANIPI value of each measurement unit and report the ANIPI value respectively; or, the STA reports the maximum value, the median value, or the average value of the multiple ANIPI values of the multiple measurement units; or the STA reports any one of the ANIPI values of the measurement units; or, the STA may report a selected part of the multiple ANIPI values of the multiple measurement units.
The measurement type related parameters are FA-BFT related parameters or A-BFT related parameters, wherein the FA-BFT related parameters are used for indicating the number of the FA-BFT sector scanning time periods, the number of the sector scanning frames in each sector scanning time period and the like; the A-BFT related parameter is used for indicating the number of the sector scanning time periods of the A-BFT, the number of the sector scanning frames in each sector scanning time period and the like.
The structure of the measurement configuration field for the FA-BFT measurement or A-BFT measurement may include, but is not limited to, the following several possible implementations:
in one possible implementation manner, the measurement configuration domain includes a measurement switch, a measurement report threshold, a measurement unit, and related parameters corresponding to a measurement type, which are specifically shown in table 45:
TABLE 45
Figure RE-GDA0001721000850000351
In one possible implementation, the measurement configuration domain includes a measurement switch, as shown in table 46:
TABLE 46
Figure RE-GDA0001721000850000352
In one example, the configuration shown in table 45 is adopted when the measurement switch is on, and the configuration shown in table 46 is adopted when the measurement switch is off. In another example, if the structure shown in table 45 is used when the measurement switch is off, the measurement reporting threshold and the measurement unit may be invalid values or reserved bits.
3. The measurement type is a service period measurement (such as an SP measurement).
In a measurement configuration domain of the SP measurement, the measurement parameters include: at least one of a measurement reporting threshold, a measurement unit, the number of measurement units, a measurement start time and a measurement period.
In the measurement configuration field of the SP measurement, a measurement switch may be further included.
Wherein, the measurement switch is used for indicating whether the SP measurement is started or not. If the measurement switch is not included in the measurement configuration field or is on, the STA performs an SP measurement after receiving the measurement configuration frame; if the measurement switch included in the measurement configuration field is off, the STA stops SP measurement after receiving the measurement configuration frame or does not perform SP measurement again after the current SP measurement is finished.
The measurement reporting threshold is used to instruct the STA to generate and report a measurement report frame when the measurement result obtained by the SP measurement satisfies the reporting threshold. When the measurement configuration domain does not include the measurement reporting threshold or the measurement reporting threshold is an invalid value or a reserved bit, the STA generates a measurement report frame and reports the frame when a measurement result obtained by SP measurement meets a preset condition agreed by a protocol; if the measurement configuration domain includes a measurement reporting threshold, and the measurement reporting threshold is an effective value, the STA generates a measurement report frame and reports the measurement report frame when a measurement result obtained by the SP measurement is greater than or equal to the effective value of the measurement reporting threshold.
The measurement unit and the number of the measurement units are used for indicating the mode adopted by the STA to calculate the interference strength indication measured by the SP. In one example, if the measurement configuration field measured by the SP does not include the measurement unit or the measurement unit in the measurement configuration field is an invalid value or a reserved bit, the STA calculates the ANIPI value for the entire SP as one measurement unit, that is, the STA only reports one ANIPI value in the entire SP; alternatively, the STA uses default values specified in the protocol as units of measurement. If the measurement configuration field measured by the SP includes the measurement unit and the measurement unit is an effective value, the STA measures the ANIPI value of each measurement unit and then reports the ANIPI value respectively; or, the STA reports the maximum value, the median value or the average value of the multiple ANIPI values of the multiple measurement units; or the STA reports any one of the ANIPI values of the measurement units; or, the STA may report a selected part of the multiple ANIPI values of the multiple measurement units.
The measurement start time is used for indicating the start time of the measurement time period of the SP measurement. Such as instructing the STA to measure 2 seconds after receiving the measurement configuration frame. If the measurement start time is not included in the measurement configuration field or is an invalid value or a reserved bit, the STA may perform measurement according to a preset start time or perform measurement after receiving the measurement configuration frame; if the measurement configuration field includes a measurement start time and the measurement start time is a valid value, the STA performs interference measurement according to the measurement start time.
The measurement period is used to indicate the length of the measurement period measured by the SP, for example, the measurement period is 10 seconds. If the measurement period is not included in the measurement configuration domain or is an invalid value or a reserved bit, the STA may perform measurement according to a preset time, and the specific time is not limited; if the measurement period is included in the measurement configuration field and is a valid value, the STA performs interference measurement according to the measurement period.
The structure of the measurement configuration field of the SP measurement may include, but is not limited to, the following several possible implementations:
in one possible implementation, the measurement configuration field includes a measurement reporting threshold, a measurement start time, a measurement period, and a measurement unit, which are specifically shown in table 47:
watch 47
Measurement reporting threshold Measurement start time Measurement period Measurement Unit
In one possible implementation manner, the measurement configuration domain includes a measurement reporting threshold, a measurement start time, a measurement period, and a number of measurement units, which are specifically shown in table 48:
watch 48
Measurement reporting threshold Measurement start time Measuring period Number of measuring units
4. The measurement type is periodic measurement.
In the measurement configuration field of the periodic measurement, the measurement parameter includes, but is not limited to, at least one of a measurement switch, an effective time of the measurement switch, a measurement reporting threshold, a measurement period, a number of measurement periods, a measurement unit, and a number of measurement units.
Wherein, the measurement switch is used for indicating whether the periodic measurement is started. If the measurement configuration field does not include the measurement switch or the measurement switch is on, the STA keeps performing the period measurement after receiving the measurement configuration frame until the STA receives the measurement configuration frame with the next measurement switch off; if the measurement switch included in the measurement configuration field is off, the STA stops the period measurement after receiving the measurement configuration frame or stops the period measurement after the current period measurement is finished.
The measurement reporting threshold is used to instruct the STA to generate a measurement report frame and report the measurement report frame when the measurement result obtained by the periodic measurement satisfies the reporting threshold. When the measurement configuration domain does not include the measurement reporting threshold or the measurement reporting threshold is an invalid value or a reserved bit, the STA generates a measurement report frame and reports the frame when a measurement result obtained by periodic measurement meets a preset condition agreed by a protocol; if the measurement configuration domain includes a measurement reporting threshold, and the measurement reporting threshold is an effective value, the STA generates a measurement report frame and reports the measurement report frame when the measurement result obtained by the periodic measurement is greater than or equal to the effective value of the measurement reporting threshold configuration.
The measurement unit and the number of the measurement units are used for indicating the mode adopted by the STA to calculate the interference strength indication of the periodic measurement. In one example, if the measurement configuration field of the periodic measurement does not include the measurement unit or the measurement unit is an invalid value or a reserved bit, the STA will calculate the ANIPI value by using the entire measurement period as a measurement unit, that is, the STA only reports one ANIPI value in the entire measurement period; alternatively, the STA uses default values specified in the protocol as units of measurement. If the measurement configuration domain of the periodic measurement comprises the measurement unit and the measurement unit is an effective value, the STA measures the ANIPI value of each measurement unit and reports the ANIPI value respectively; or, the STA reports the maximum value, the median value or the average value of the multiple ANIPI values of the multiple measurement units; or the STA reports any one of the ANIPI values of the measurement units; or, the STA may report a selected part of the multiple ANIPI values of the multiple measurement units.
The effective time of the measurement switch is used for indicating the effective time of the measurement switch measured periodically. In one example, if the measurement switch in the measurement configuration field of the periodic measurement is on, and the measurement configuration field includes the effective time of the measurement switch, the STA starts the periodic measurement at the time corresponding to the effective time of the measurement switch.
The measurement period is used for indicating the length of the measurement time period of the periodic measurement.
The measurement period is used for indicating the time length of the measurement period measured by the period. That is, the STA performs a measurement every other measurement period from the time the measurement switch is active.
For example, if the measurement period is 5 seconds and the measurement period is 10 seconds, the STA will perform two interference measurements within 20 seconds, and the time length of each measurement is 5 seconds.
And the number of the measurement periods is used for indicating the number of the periods for the STA to measure. For example, the STA stops measuring after measuring a specified number of cycles.
The structure of the measurement configuration field of the periodic measurement may include, but is not limited to, the following several possible implementations:
in one possible implementation, the measurement configuration field includes: the measurement switch, the effective time of the measurement switch, the measurement reporting threshold, the measurement period, the number of the measurement periods, and the measurement unit are specifically shown in table 49:
watch 49
Figure RE-GDA0001721000850000381
In one possible implementation, the measurement configuration field includes: the measurement switch, the effective time of the measurement switch, the measurement reporting threshold, the measurement period, the number of the measurement periods, and the number of the measurement units are specifically shown in table 50:
watch 50
Figure RE-GDA0001721000850000382
In one possible implementation, the measurement configuration field includes: the measurement switch, the measurement switch effective time, are specifically shown in table 51:
watch 51
Measuring switch Measuring switch effective time
In one example, the configuration shown in table 50 is adopted when the measurement switch is on, and the configuration shown in table 51 is adopted when the measurement switch is off. In another example, if the structure shown in table 50 is adopted when the measurement switch is off, the measurement reporting threshold, the number of measurement units, the number of measurement cycles, the measurement cycle, and the measurement period may be invalid values or reserved bits.
5. The measurement type is optional measurement
In the measurement configuration field of the optional measurement, the measurement parameter includes, but is not limited to, at least one of a measurement switch, a measurement switch effective time, a measurement reporting threshold, a measurement unit, a minimum measurement period, a maximum measurement period, and a measurement period.
Optionally, in the measurement configuration field of the optional measurement, the measurement parameter further includes the number of measurement units.
Wherein the measurement switch is used to indicate whether the self-selected measurement is on. If the measurement configuration field does not include the measurement switch or the measurement switch is on, the STA keeps performing the self-selection measurement after receiving the measurement configuration frame until the STA receives the next measurement configuration frame with the measurement switch off; if the measurement switch included in the measurement configuration field is off, the STA stops the self-selection measurement after receiving the measurement configuration frame or stops the self-selection measurement after the current self-selection measurement is finished.
The measurement reporting threshold is used to instruct the STA to generate and report a measurement report frame when the measurement result obtained by the optional measurement satisfies the reporting threshold. When the measurement configuration domain does not include the measurement reporting threshold or the measurement reporting threshold is an invalid value or a reserved bit, the STA generates a measurement report frame and reports the measurement report frame when a measurement result obtained by the self-selected measurement meets a preset condition agreed by a protocol; if the measurement configuration domain includes a measurement reporting threshold, and the measurement reporting threshold is an effective value, the STA generates a measurement report frame and reports the measurement report frame when a measurement result obtained by the optional measurement is greater than or equal to the effective value of the measurement reporting threshold configuration.
The measurement unit and the number of the measurement units are used for indicating the mode adopted by the STA to calculate the interference strength indication of the optional measurement. In one example, if the measurement unit is not included in the measurement configuration field of the discretionary measurement or is invalid or reserved, the STA will calculate the ANIPI value for one measurement unit for the entire measurement period, i.e., the STA only reports one ANIPI value for the entire measurement period; alternatively, the STA uses default values specified in the protocol as units of measurement. If the measurement unit is configured in the measurement configuration domain of the optional measurement, the STA will measure the ANIPI value of each measurement unit, and then report the ANIPI values respectively; or, the STA reports the maximum value, the median value or the average value of the multiple ANIPI values of the multiple measurement units; or the STA reports any one of the ANIPI values of the measurement units; or, the STA may report a selected part of the multiple ANIPI values of the multiple measurement units.
The effective time of the measurement switch is used for indicating the effective time of the measurement switch of the selected measurement. In one example, if the measurement switch in the measurement configuration field of the selected measurement is on, and the measurement switch effective time is included in the measurement configuration field and the measurement switch effective time is a valid value, the STA will start the selected measurement at a time corresponding to the measurement switch effective time.
The measurement period is used for indicating the length of the measurement time period of the optional measurement. If the measurement period is not included in the measurement configuration field or is an invalid value or a reserved bit, the STA may perform measurement according to a preset time, where the specific time is not limited; if the measurement period is included in the measurement configuration field and is a valid value, the STA performs interference measurement according to the measurement period.
The minimum measurement period is used for indicating the minimum length of the measurement time period of the self-selection measurement.
The maximum measurement period is used for indicating the maximum length of the measurement time period of the self-selection measurement.
The structure of the measurement configuration field of the discretionary measurement may include, but is not limited to, the following several possible implementations:
in one possible implementation, the measurement configuration field includes: the measurement switch, the effective time of the measurement switch, the measurement reporting threshold, the minimum measurement period, the maximum measurement period, and the measurement unit are specifically shown in table 52:
table 52

In one possible implementation, the measurement configuration field includes: measurement switch, measurement switch effective time, as shown in table 53 specifically:
watch 53
Measuring switch Measuring switch effective time
In one example, the configuration shown in table 52 is adopted when the measurement switch is on, and the configuration shown in table 53 is adopted when the measurement switch is off. In another example, if the structure shown in table 52 is adopted when the measurement switch is off, the measurement reporting threshold, the minimum measurement period, the maximum measurement period, and the measurement unit may be invalid values or reserved bits.
In some cases, different STAs have the capability to perform different interference measurements, and the AP may also acquire the measurement capabilities of the STA before the AP generates the measurement configuration frame, thereby generating a corresponding measurement configuration frame for the STA.
In one possible implementation, the STA actively reports the measurement types supported by the STA to the AP. For example, the STA may actively send a measurement capability frame to the AP indicating the measurement types supported by the STA. The measurement capability frame may be a newly defined frame (for example, the measurement capability frame includes a measurement capability field indicating the measurement type supported by the STA), or the measurement capability frame may be formed by adding a measurement capability field to an existing data frame, management frame, or control frame.
In another possible implementation, after the AP initiates a query to the STA, the STA feeds back to the AP the measurement types supported by the STA. For example, the AP sends a measurement capability query frame to the STA, and then the STA feeds back a measurement capability frame to the AP, where the measurement capability frame indicates the measurement types supported by the STA. The measurement capability query frame may also be a newly defined frame (the measurement capability query frame includes a measurement capability query field), or the measurement capability query frame may also be formed by adding a measurement capability query field to an existing data frame, management frame, or control frame. The measurement capability frame may be a newly defined frame (for example, the measurement capability frame includes a measurement capability field indicating the measurement type supported by the STA), or the measurement capability frame may be formed by adding a measurement capability field to an existing data frame, management frame, or control frame.
The measurement capability field may implement a function of indicating measurement types supported by the STA in several ways as follows:
in one possible implementation, the measurement capability field may be in the form of a bitmap (bitmap). For example, a bit indicates a measurement type, a bit value =1 indicates that the measurement type is supported, and a bit value =0 indicates that the measurement type is not supported. For example, for the measurement type exemplified in the present embodiment, the measurement capability field needs 7 bits, or the first 7 bits of one byte, or the last 7 bits of one byte. The 7 bits respectively represent BDI measurement, FA-BFT measurement, SP measurement, period measurement, optional measurement, BTI measurement and A-BFT measurement; the corresponding bit value =1 indicates that the STA supports the corresponding measurement type, and if the bit value is 0, the STA does not support the corresponding measurement type.
In another possible implementation manner, the measurement capability field includes a sub-field corresponding to a measurement type, and a variable is included in the sub-field to indicate whether the STA supports the measurement type. For example, for the measurement type exemplified in the present embodiment, the measurement capability field includes 7 sub-fields: a BDI measurement capacity sub-domain, an FA-BFT measurement capacity sub-domain, an SP measurement capacity sub-domain, a period measurement capacity sub-domain, a self-selection measurement capacity sub-domain, a BTI measurement capacity sub-domain and an A-BFT measurement capacity sub-domain; a variable in each sub-field indicates whether the STA supports such measurement, and a variable value =1 indicates that the STA supports the corresponding measurement, and a variable value =0 indicates that the corresponding measurement is not supported. It is understood that each subdomain may also contain other variables, and is not limited in detail herein.
The measurement capability query domain may implement the query indication in several ways:
in one possible implementation, the configuration of the measurement capability query field is null (including only the field type indicating that the frame is to be used as a query).
In another possible implementation, the measurement capability query domain includes a query variable, and whether to perform a measurement capability query is determined by the query variable. For example, when the query variable is 1, it is preset to query the measurement capability of the STA.
Meanwhile, in a cluster, the central coordination AP may also configure a measurement configuration frame to the member AP, and the member AP may also send a measurement report frame to the central coordination AP. When the AP in this embodiment is a member AP in a cluster, before the AP generates a measurement configuration frame, the AP further receives the measurement configuration frame sent by the central coordination AP; after the AP receives the measurement report frame fed back by the STA, the AP sends the measurement report frame to the central coordination AP.
The central coordination AP may sequentially send the measurement configuration frames of the plurality of member APs to the member APs, or may integrate the measurement configuration frames of the plurality of member APs into one measurement configuration frame for broadcast transmission. The specific case of the measurement configuration frame sent by the central coordination AP may be as follows:
when the measurement configuration frame sent by the central coordination AP is in units of STA or address combination, the structure of the measurement configuration frame may be as shown in table 54:

In this embodiment, the AP sends the measurement configuration frame to the STA, so that the STA may feed back a measurement result of a corresponding measurement type according to a requirement of the AP, and control of the AP on STA interference measurement or interference reporting is implemented.
The measurement configuration frame generated by the AP may also control the STA to perform corresponding interference measurement, and specifically, referring to fig. 6, an embodiment of interference measurement configuration and reporting of interference information after interference measurement in the embodiment of the present application includes:
601. the AP generates a measurement configuration frame, where the measurement configuration frame includes M measurement types and M measurement configuration domains, where the M measurement types are in one-to-one correspondence with the M measurement configuration domains, the measurement configuration domains are used to instruct the STA to perform interference measurement according to measurement parameters included in the measurement configuration domains, the measurement types are used to instruct the STA to perform an interference measurement time interval for at least one interference, and M is an integer greater than or equal to 1.
In this embodiment, the process of the measurement configuration frame generated by the AP and the specific configuration parameters of the measurement configuration frame are the same as the process of the measurement configuration frame generated by the AP in the embodiment shown in fig. 5 and the specific configuration parameters of the measurement configuration frame, and are not described herein again.
602. The AP transmits a measurement configuration frame to the STA.
The AP may transmit the measurement configuration frame to the STA in a one-to-one transmission scheme or a one-to-many transmission scheme or a broadcast transmission scheme.
603. And the STA carries out interference measurement according to the measurement configuration frame to obtain a measurement result.
And the STA carries out interference measurement according to the measurement parameters corresponding to the measurement types in the measurement configuration frame to obtain a corresponding measurement result.
For example, the measurement type indicated by the measurement type in the measurement configuration frame is periodic measurement, and the measurement switch is turned on; the effective time of the measurement switch is 2 seconds after the measurement configuration frame is received; the measurement period was 5 seconds; the number of measurement cycles is 3. The STA will perform periodic measurements 2 seconds after receiving the measurement configuration frame and will perform measurements once every 5 seconds and stop after three measurements.
604. The STA generates a measurement report frame according to the measurement result.
And when the measurement result obtained by the STA through measurement meets a reporting threshold, the STA generates a measurement report frame according to the measurement result.
In this embodiment, the measurement report frame may be an existing measurement report frame, or may have the same structure as the measurement report frame in the embodiment shown in fig. 4, and is not limited herein.
605. The STA reports the measurement report frame to the AP.
The STA sends the measurement report frame to the AP.
Furthermore, the STA may report the measurement results of multiple measurement types in sequence, or may report multiple measurement results in parallel. When the sequential reporting mode is adopted, the measurement report frame may be an existing frame structure, or may be a frame structure as shown in table 1. When the parallel reporting mode is adopted, the frame structure shown in table 2 may be adopted.
It should be noted that, when the station adopts the parallel reporting mode, the measurement type may not be reported. For example, if 6 measurement types are indicated in the measurement configuration frame sent by the AP, and the STA obtains measurement results of the 6 measurement types indicated by the measurement configuration frame through measurement, the STA may report the measurement results corresponding to the 6 measurement types specified by the AP, and the measurement report frame generated by the STA includes the measurement results corresponding to the 6 measurement types indicated by the measurement configuration frame: it will be appreciated that in this case, the measurement report frame may also include no 6 measurement types, only the measurement results corresponding to the 6 measurement types, and the order of the measurement results thereof may correspond to the order of the measurement types indicated by the measurement configuration frame.
Based on the above solution, when the AP sends a measurement configuration frame to the STA, so that the STA generates a measurement report frame according to the measurement configuration frame, the measurement configuration frame generated by the AP may not include a measurement configuration field, that is, the AP only controls the measurement type reported by the STA, and does not control the manner in which the STA reports; or, the AP controls the measurement configuration field in a manner specified by a protocol, and then performs interference measurement according to measurement parameters specified by the protocol after the STA receives the measurement configuration frame.
In this embodiment, the AP sends the measurement configuration frame to the STA, so that the STA can feed back a measurement result of a corresponding measurement type according to a requirement of the AP, and control of the AP on STA interference measurement or interference reporting is implemented. Meanwhile, the STA reports the measurement results obtained by measurement in a plurality of time intervals to the AP at the same time, so that the reporting efficiency is improved, and the signaling overhead is saved; secondly, the measurement results in different measurement time intervals can be reported by adopting a unified frame structure, and a receiving end does not need to independently analyze various types of measurement report frames, so that the complexity of the receiving end is reduced.
