Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of animal transportation, in particular to a turtle transportation box and a turtle transportation method.
Background
Turtles are widely distributed in the atlantic, pacific and indian, and this group of species exists only in 7 species of 6 of 2 families in the world. Since the 20 th century, the number of domestic turtles has drastically decreased due to fishery killing, habitat degradation, environmental pollution and the like, and the survival situation of the turtles has been at risk.
In order to protect the sea turtle, all species of the sea turtle are species in annex I of International trade Commission (CITES) of endangered wild animal and plant species, and trade is forbidden. A series of legal regulations are issued in China from 1979, and a national natural protection area and a protection station are set up at the same time, for example, the national natural protection area of a Whitestone turtle in Guangdong province and the seven-continuous-island turtle protection station of three-sanda city in Hainan province, the agricultural and rural parts of China have been brought out in 2018 on the "turtle protection action plan (2019-2033)", which has important significance for the continuation of turtle species, and some protection technologies are urgently needed to be researched and implemented.
At present, although illegal fishing and trade of the turtles in coastal cities in China still exist, the turtles are improved, and after fine and confiscation turtles in the hands of illegal persons are transported to a protection area for rescue or manual drainage by a fishery department, so that the aim of protecting the turtles is fulfilled; in addition, the fishery department also receives, salvages and disposes wounded and stranded turtles inside and outside the protection area, and the measures all need to transport and turn over the turtles, but the problem in the aspect of turtle transportation usually occurs when the turtles are illegally caught by fine and confiscation in China, the wounded turtles are salvaged or the turtles are manually released, and when the turtles are transported, the simple plastic turnover box or deck is used, so that the turtles are easily damaged in the transportation process, and the protection of the turtles is adversely affected. The main problems existing in the prior art about the transportation of the sea turtle are as follows:
The periphery of the box body of the plastic turnover box for transporting the sea turtles is fixed, the sea turtles are required to be lifted when being placed into or removed from the box, and the fin limbs of the sea turtles are easy to fracture in the lifting process of the sea turtles with large weight.
In the transportation process, the use of deck can't build a moist comfortable transportation environment for the tortoise, needs to constantly supply salt water to the tortoise, wastes time and energy, and is difficult to avoid the tortoise body surface to dry, causes certain injury to the tortoise.
Carrying a turtle in a fixed space of a common plastic turnover box brings inconvenience to the operation of a carrier, and also consumes a great deal of physical effort.
These factors have an adverse effect on the rescue transport of the turtle, and we are still worth considering a transport scheme involving turtle protection and turtle welfare.
