Disclosure of Invention
The present application is made based on the recognition and study of the following problems by the inventors:
when the TIJ ink-jet printer works, a synchronous signal is needed, and the nozzle array is controlled to jet once every time a synchronous signal is detected, so that the jet frequency of the ink-jet printer is the same as the frequency of the synchronous signal. In the related art, the maximum jetting frequency of the inkjet printer is generally not more than 15Khz, which is determined by the characteristics of the ink cartridge and the driving circuit, and the following relationship exists between the jetting frequency, the production line speed and the jetting resolution of the inkjet printer in the horizontal direction: f = v × R, where f is a jet printing frequency, v is a production line speed, that is, a relative movement speed between the inkjet printer and the object to be jet printed, and R is a jet printing resolution in a horizontal direction of the inkjet printer, so that when the jet printing resolution in the horizontal direction is 300dpi (a direction parallel to the relative movement between the inkjet printer and the object to be jet printed is referred to as a horizontal direction, and a direction perpendicular to the relative movement between the inkjet printer and the object to be jet printed is referred to as a vertical direction), the maximum relative movement speed between the inkjet printer and the object to be jet printed is 50 inches/second, that is, 76 m/min through the above formula.
According to the formula, f = v × R, when the production line speed is greater than 76 m/min, if the inkjet printer normally works, the horizontal jet printing resolution can only be reduced, so that the jet printing effect of the inkjet printer is reduced, and the application of the TIJ inkjet printer in some fields with higher production line speed requirements is limited.

Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein like or similar reference numerals refer to the same or similar elements or elements having the same or similar function throughout. The embodiments described below with reference to the drawings are illustrative and intended to be illustrative of the invention and are not to be construed as limiting the invention.
In the related technology, a thermal foaming inkjet printer generally adopts a single group of nozzle arrays to perform jet printing during jet printing, and a TIJ inkjet printer needs to use a synchronous signal during working, and the nozzle arrays are controlled to jet once every time a synchronous signal is detected, so that the jet frequency of the inkjet printer is the same as the frequency of the synchronous signal. Generally, the maximum jetting frequency of an inkjet printer is generally not more than 15Khz, which is determined by the characteristics of the ink cartridge and the driving circuit, and the following relationship exists between the jetting frequency, the production line speed and the jetting resolution of the inkjet printer in the horizontal direction: f = v × R, where f is a jet printing frequency, v is a production line speed, that is, a relative movement speed between the inkjet printer and the object to be jet printed, and R is a jet printing resolution in a horizontal direction of the inkjet printer, so that when the jet printing resolution in the horizontal direction is 300dpi (a direction parallel to the relative movement between the inkjet printer and the object to be jet printed is referred to as a horizontal direction, and a direction perpendicular to the relative movement between the inkjet printer and the object to be jet printed is referred to as a vertical direction), the maximum relative movement speed between the inkjet printer and the object to be jet printed is 50 inches/second, that is, 76 m/min through the above formula.
Therefore, if the jet frequency of the inkjet printer can be increased, the inkjet printer can be applied to a higher-speed production line without reducing the jet printing resolution in the horizontal direction, so that the application field of the inkjet printer is expanded, and the requirements of users are better met.
In order to better understand the above technical solutions, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. While exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings, it should be understood that the invention can be embodied in various forms and should not be limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art.
In order to better understand the technical solution, the technical solution will be described in detail with reference to the drawings and the specific embodiments.
Fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart of a method for increasing a printing speed of an inkjet printer according to an embodiment of the present invention. The inkjet printer can be a TIJ inkjet printer, and a first nozzle array and a second nozzle array which are parallel in the vertical direction are arranged on an ink box of the inkjet printer.
As shown in fig. 1, the method for increasing the printing speed of the inkjet printer includes the following steps:
step 101, reading jet printing data, wherein the jet printing data comprises first jet printing data corresponding to a first nozzle array and second jet printing data corresponding to a second nozzle array.
It should be noted that the first nozzle array may be an odd nozzle array, and the second nozzle array may be an even nozzle array; wherein the vertical direction refers to the direction perpendicular to the relative movement of the code spraying machine and the object to be sprayed and printed.
As an embodiment, the inkjet printing data may be written into a FIFO (First Input First Output) by a CPU main control system of the inkjet printer through a parallel bus interface, because the word width of the FIFO is 16 bits, each row of the inkjet printing data occupies 10 FIFO words (160 bit data in total, 150 bits are valid, and respectively correspond to 150 nozzles of a group of nozzle arrays, that is, each row of the inkjet printing data is 150 bits), and the inkjet printer may read the inkjet printing data from the FIFO through an internal logic circuit of a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) when operating.
Step 102, reading the first jet printing data into a data buffer, and reading the second jet printing data into a temporary storage for delay processing.
As an example, the first print data is odd-numbered line print data, and the second print data is even-numbered line print data corresponding to the odd-numbered nozzle array and the even-numbered nozzle array; and the register may be a FIFO.
That is, after the jet printing data is read, the jet printing data of the odd-numbered columns is read into the internal odd-numbered column buffer, and the jet printing data of the even-numbered columns is read into the FIFO for time-delay processing.
The first nozzle array and the second nozzle array are arranged on an ink box of the ink-jet printer in parallel along the vertical direction, and the second jet printing data needs to be subjected to time delay processing during jet printing according to the movement direction of a production line and the installation position of an electric eye of the ink-jet printer, so that the second jet printing data can be accurately jet-printed at the correct position.
And 103, detecting a synchronous signal when the ink-jet printer starts to jet print.
It should be noted that, each time a synchronization signal is detected, the nozzle array is controlled to jet print a frame of jet print data.
And 104, reading the first spray printing data from the data buffer as a frame of spray printing data according to the synchronous signal to control the first nozzle array to perform spray printing, and reading the first spray printing data from the data buffer and the second spray printing data from the temporary storage according to the synchronous signal to combine into a frame of spray printing data when the delay time is up, so as to control the first nozzle array and the second nozzle array to perform spray printing simultaneously.
That is, if the delay time has not yet arrived, after each synchronization signal is detected, odd-numbered row jet printing data is read from the odd-numbered row buffer according to the synchronization signal to serve as frame jet printing data so as to control the odd-numbered nozzle array to carry out jet printing; if the delay time is up, after each synchronization signal is detected, respectively reading odd-numbered line jet printing data from the odd-numbered line buffer and even-numbered line jet printing data from the FIFO according to the synchronization signal, and merging the odd-numbered line jet printing data and the even-numbered line jet printing data into a frame of jet printing data so as to control the odd-numbered nozzle array and the even-numbered nozzle array to jet print simultaneously.
Specifically, in one example of the present invention, because of the characteristics of the ink cartridge and the driving circuit, the highest spraying frequency of each group of nozzle arrays of the inkjet printer is 15Khz, the present invention can achieve 30Khz equivalently by simultaneously using two rows of nozzle arrays, for example, the synchronization signals are numbered as T1, T2, T3 … … Tn in sequence, the spraying content is numbered as C1, C2, C3, Cn in sequence, each row of odd-numbered data and the following even-numbered data are merged into one frame of spraying data (the even-numbered row data need to be subjected to proper time delay processing according to the moving direction of the production line and the installation position of the electric eye), one frame of spraying data is sent out each time under the trigger of the synchronization signals, according to the scheme, the spraying frequency of a single row of nozzle arrays is the frequency of the synchronization signals, the overall equivalent spraying frequency is twice the frequency of the synchronization signals, so according to the formula, f = v × R, the spraying frequency of the inkjet printer is doubled, the production line speed of the code spraying machine is doubled, and when the horizontal jet printing resolution is 300dpi, the maximum production line speed of the code spraying machine can reach 152 m/min.
Further, the delay time is determined according to the distance between the first nozzle array and the second nozzle array and the jet printing resolution of the first nozzle array or the second nozzle array in the horizontal direction.
It should be noted that the horizontal direction refers to a direction parallel to the relative movement between the inkjet printer and the object to be inkjet printed.
Further, the delay time is calculated according to the number of the synchronization signals, and the calculation formula is as follows:
m = (R/2) × d, where M is the number of synchronization signals, R is the horizontal printing resolution of the first nozzle array or the second nozzle array, and d is the distance between the first nozzle array and the second nozzle array.
As an example, assuming that the jet printing resolution in the horizontal direction is 300dpi, and the distance d =97/600 inches between the first nozzle array and the second nozzle array, since two nozzle arrays are used, the jet printing resolution in the horizontal direction of a single nozzle array is actually 300dpi/2=150dpi, according to the formula: and M = (R/2) × d is calculated and rounded, and the second jet printing data in the temporary storage is output after 24 synchronous signals need to be delayed.
The jet printing data are numbered as C1, C2, C3 and Cn in sequence, the jet printing data of each odd row and the jet printing data of the following even row are merged into one frame of jet printing data, wherein the data frame format is as follows:
the 1 st frame of spray printing data is as follows: all data of C1.1, C1.2, C1.3 … … C1.149, C1.150 and other 150 bits are 0
The 2 nd frame jet printing data is as follows: c3.1, C3.2, C3.3 … … C3.149, C3.150 and other 150-bit data are all 0
……
The 24 th frame of spray printing data is as follows: c47.1, C47.2, C47.3 … … C47.149, C47.150 and other 150-bit data are all 0
The 25 th frame of spray printing data is as follows: c49.1, C49.2, C49.3 … … C49.149, C49.150, C2.1, C2.2, C2.3 … … C2.149, C2.150
……
The nth (n > = 25) frame jet printing data is as follows: c (2n-1) 1, C (2n-1) 2, C (2n-1) 3 … … C (2n-1) 149, C (2n-1) 150, C2 (n-24) 1, C2 (n-24) 2, C2 (n-24) 3 … … C2 (n-24) 149, C2 (n-24) 150
As a specific example, the maximum jetting frequency of the inkjet printing machine using the TIJ2.5 technology is 15Khz, after the start of the inkjet printing, one frame of inkjet printing data is output every time a synchronization signal is detected, and when the inkjet printing is performed by using two rows of nozzles, each frame of inkjet printing data includes two rows of inkjet printing data (i.e., odd row of inkjet printing data and even row of inkjet printing data), so that the equivalent inkjet printing frequency is 2 × 15Khz =30 Khz.
According to the formula, f = v × R (f is jet printing frequency, v is jet printing speed, namely relative movement speed of the inkjet printer and a jet printing object, and R is jet printing resolution in the horizontal direction), the jet printing frequency f is doubled, the applicable jet printing speed v of the TIJ inkjet printer is doubled, and when the jet printing resolution in the horizontal direction is 300dpi, the applicable jet printing speed of the inkjet printer can reach 100 inches/second at most, namely 152 meters/minute.
In an embodiment of the invention, the inkjet printing data is output in series every frame.
According to the jet printing speed improving method of the ink jet printing machine, jet printing data are read firstly, wherein the jet printing data comprise first jet printing data corresponding to a first nozzle array and second jet printing data corresponding to a second nozzle array; reading the first spray printing data into a data buffer, and reading the second spray printing data into a temporary storage for time delay processing; then, when the ink-jet printer starts to jet print, a synchronous signal is detected; and finally, reading the first spray printing data from the data buffer as a frame of spray printing data according to the synchronous signal to control the first nozzle array to spray print, and respectively reading the first spray printing data from the data buffer and the second spray printing data from the temporary storage according to the synchronous signal to merge the first spray printing data and the second spray printing data into a frame of spray printing data when the delay time is up, so as to control the first nozzle array and the second nozzle array to spray print simultaneously.
Fig. 2 is a schematic block diagram of an inkjet printing speed improving apparatus of an inkjet printing machine according to an embodiment of the invention. Further, the delay time is determined according to the distance between the first nozzle array and the second nozzle array and the jet printing resolution of the first nozzle array or the second nozzle array in the horizontal direction.
Further, each frame of jet printing data is output in series.
