Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a network structure provided in an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 1, the network structure includes a network-side device 11 and a terminal 12. The network side device 11 may be a base station, for example, an evolved Node B (eNB), a macro station, or a micro base station, and it should be noted that the specific type of the network side device 11 is not limited in this embodiment of the present invention. The terminal 12 may be a mobile communication device such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a personal computer, a notebook computer, or a wearable device, and it should be noted that the specific type of the terminal 12 is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
In the prior art, when reporting the capability, the terminal may indicate the downlink carrier aggregation capability through a first preset field (e.g., ca-bandwidth cslsdl) and indicate the multi-antenna capability through a second preset field (e.g., supported mimo-capability dl). For example, the terminal may indicate downlink continuous three carriers through a field "ca-bandwidth csdl-r 10 d" and indicate the multi-antenna capability supported by the terminal as downlink 2 streams for each carrier through a field "supported mimo-capability dl-r10 twoLayers". It should be noted that the number of streams mentioned in the present invention is the number of layers supported by a carrier, for example, one carrier-supported downlink 2 stream indicates that the number of layers supported by the carrier is 2.
With the introduction of the downlink multiflow capability, due to the limitation of the terminal capability, only part of the continuous carriers supported by the terminal may support downlink multiflow, while other carriers support downlink 2 stream. For a terminal of the downlink Cat 16, under downlink three-carrier aggregation, at most two carriers support downlink 4 streams, and another carrier supports downlink 2 streams. In order to realize the reporting of the terminal capability, a third preset field (e.g., intraBandContiguousCC-InfoList-r12) is introduced by a 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) protocol, and indicates that several carriers can support downlink multi-stream and several carriers can only support downlink 2-stream under continuous carrier aggregation through the third preset field. For example, it may be indicated that two carriers in the downlink continuous three-carrier aggregation may support downlink 4 stream and the other carrier supports downlink 2 stream through the following fields:
however, the third preset field requires that the terminal supports any sequence of layer number combinations, that is, the field indicates that any two carriers of the three downlink consecutive carriers supported by the terminal support 4 streams, and the other carrier supports 2 streams. Due to the limitation of the terminal capability, only a part of the continuous carriers supported by the terminal may support downlink multi-streaming, for example, for downlink continuous three-carrier aggregation, the terminal may only support two continuous carriers as 4 streams, another carrier as 2 streams, and not support two discontinuous carriers as 4 streams. For example, assuming that CC1, CC2, and CC3 are downlink contiguous three carriers supported by the terminal, the terminal can only support CC1(4 flows) + CC2(4 flows) + CC3(2 flows), but does not support CC1(4 flows) + CC2(2 flows) + CC3(4 flows).
Based on the above technical background and application environment, the method for reporting the terminal capability proposed by the present invention is described in detail below.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a schematic flow chart of a method for reporting terminal capability according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method for reporting terminal capability is applied to a terminal, and as shown in fig. 2, the method for reporting terminal capability includes:
step 201, obtaining layer number information respectively supported by a plurality of carriers in downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal.
Step 202, generating carrier aggregation capability reporting information, wherein when the carrier aggregation is continuous carrier aggregation, the carrier aggregation capability reporting information carries continuous carrier aggregation indication information for indicating that the plurality of carriers are continuous carriers and layer number indication information for indicating layer number information respectively supported by the plurality of carriers.
Step 203, sending the carrier aggregation capability report information to a network side device.
In the embodiment of the invention, the method generates the carrier aggregation capability report information after acquiring the layer number information respectively supported by a plurality of carriers in the downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal. The generated carrier aggregation capability report information at least carries layer number indication information for indicating layer number information respectively supported by a plurality of carriers in the downlink carrier aggregation. Specifically, when the downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal is continuous carrier aggregation, the generated carrier aggregation capability report information further carries continuous carrier aggregation indication information, where the continuous carrier aggregation indication information is used to indicate that the multiple carriers are continuous carriers. After the carrier aggregation capability report information is generated, the method sends the carrier aggregation capability report information to network side equipment, so that the network side equipment can conveniently determine the capability of the terminal according to the carrier aggregation capability report information and perform downlink scheduling according to the capability of the terminal.
In this embodiment of the present invention, the method may generate the layer number indication information in a manner of combining a first preset field (e.g., ca-bandwidth cslsdl) and a second preset field (e.g., supported mimo-capability dl), where the layer number indication information is used to indicate layer number indication information of layer number information respectively supported by multiple carriers in downlink carrier aggregation. And then, carrying continuous carrier aggregation indication information in the carrier aggregation capability report information, for indicating that the downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal is continuous carrier aggregation.
It can be understood that, only when the downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal is continuous carrier aggregation, the method may carry continuous carrier aggregation indication information in the carrier aggregation capability reporting information when generating the carrier aggregation capability reporting information. It can be understood that, for a terminal which only supports downlink contiguous carrier aggregation by default, the method may carry the contiguous carrier aggregation indication information in the carrier aggregation capability reporting information directly. In other embodiments of the present invention, for example, when it cannot be determined whether downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal is continuous carrier aggregation, the method may further determine whether downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal is continuous carrier aggregation before generating the carrier aggregation capability report information, and if the downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal is continuous carrier aggregation, the method carries continuous carrier aggregation indication information in the carrier aggregation capability report information when generating the carrier aggregation capability report information; on the contrary, if the downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal is discontinuous carrier aggregation, the method reports the terminal capability according to the existing manner, which is not described herein again.
The method can group a plurality of carriers in downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal, and then indicate layer number information supported by each group of carriers based on each group of carriers; the method may also be configured not to group multiple carriers in the downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal, but to indicate, based on each carrier, the number-of-layers information supported by each carrier, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
It should be noted that the terminal capability reporting method of the present invention may be applied to a Band41 frequency Band, may also be applied to a Band38 frequency Band, and may also be applied to other frequency bands, which is not specifically limited in this embodiment of the present invention.
In the embodiment of the invention, the terminal capability reporting method acquires layer number information respectively supported by a plurality of carriers in downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal; generating carrier aggregation capability reporting information, wherein when the carrier aggregation is continuous carrier aggregation, the carrier aggregation capability reporting information carries continuous carrier aggregation indication information for indicating that the plurality of carriers are continuous carriers and layer number indication information for indicating layer number information respectively supported by the plurality of carriers; and sending the carrier aggregation capability report information to network side equipment. The embodiment of the invention indicates that a plurality of carriers in the downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal are continuous carriers by introducing the continuous carrier aggregation indication information, and can accurately report the terminal capability aiming at the situation of downlink continuous multi-carrier aggregation.
Optionally, the generating carrier aggregation capability report information includes:
when the carrier aggregation is continuous carrier aggregation, dividing a plurality of carriers into at least two groups of carriers according to layer number information respectively supported by the plurality of carriers of downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal, wherein each group of carriers comprises at least one carrier, and the carriers which are continuous to each other and have the same supported layer number belong to the same group of carriers;
acquiring number indication information corresponding to each group of carriers according to the number of the carriers in each group of carriers, and generating layer number indication information, wherein the layer number indication information comprises the number indication information of each group of carriers and layer number information supported by the carriers in each group of carriers;
and generating carrier aggregation capability reporting information carrying the continuous carrier aggregation indication information and the layer number indication information.
In this embodiment, when the carrier aggregation is continuous carrier aggregation, the method divides a plurality of carriers into at least two groups of carriers according to information of layer numbers respectively supported by the plurality of carriers for downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal, where each group of carriers includes at least one carrier, and carriers that are continuous to each other and have the same supported layer number belong to the same group of carriers. The method comprises the steps of obtaining number indication information corresponding to each group of carriers according to the number of the carriers in each group of carriers to generate layer number indication information, wherein the layer number indication information comprises the number indication information of each group of carriers and layer number information supported by the carriers in each group of carriers, and further generating carrier aggregation capability report information carrying continuous carrier aggregation indication information and the layer number indication information according to the layer number indication information.
The number indication information of each group of carriers may be represented by combining the first preset field with a target character, and the terminal may store a plurality of different number information and a plurality of different characters in advance, where the different number information corresponds to different characters. The method can acquire characters corresponding to the number of carriers included in a group of carriers according to the number of the carriers included in the group of carriers, and then combines the first preset field and the characters corresponding to the number of the carriers included in the group of carriers to serve as the number indication information of the group of carriers. For example, it is possible to preset that the character "a" represents a single carrier, the character "c" represents two continuous carriers, and the character "d" represents three continuous carriers. The information of the number of layers supported by the carriers in each group of carriers may be represented by the second preset field in combination with the number of layers supported by the carriers in the group of carriers.
For example, assuming that in downlink continuous three-carrier aggregation, a terminal supports CC1(4 flows) + CC2(4 flows) + CC3(2 flows), and CC1, CC2, and CC3 are three continuous carriers, the method may divide the three continuous carriers into two groups of carriers, and since CC1 and CC2 are continuous carriers and the number of supported layers is the same, carrier CC1 and carrier CC2 may be divided into a first group of carriers, and carrier CC3 is a second group of carriers alone. Since the number of carriers included in the first group of carriers is two, and the number of layers supported by each carrier is 4, the number indication information corresponding to the first group of carriers may be represented as "ca-bandwidth csl-r 10 c", and further, the number information of the first group of carriers may be represented as "ca-bandwidth csl-r 10c, supported mimo-capability dl-r10 fourLayers". Since the number of carriers included in the second group of carriers is one, and the number of layers supported by the one carrier is 2, the number indication information corresponding to the second group of carriers may be represented as "ca-bandwidth csl-r 10 a", and further, the number information of the second group of carriers may be represented as "ca-bandwidth csl-r 10a, supported mimo-capacity dl-r10 twoLayers".
In this embodiment of the present invention, the continuous carrier aggregation indication information may be "intrabandcontigurationindicator supported", and the method may indicate that the downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal is continuous carrier aggregation by using "intrabandcontigurationindicator supported".
It should be noted that, in the foregoing embodiment, only three consecutive carrier aggregations are taken, and the number of layers supported by carriers is 4 or 2, which is taken as an example for description, and the terminal capability reporting method provided in the embodiment of the present invention may also be applied to terminals that support other consecutive carrier aggregations and that the number of layers supported by carriers is other layers, which is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
In this way, in this embodiment, the method divides a plurality of continuous carriers supporting the same number of layers into a group of carriers and indicates the information of the number of layers based on each group of carriers, which can effectively save bytes and improve communication efficiency.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic flowchart of a method for determining terminal capability according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method for determining terminal capability is applied to a network device, as shown in fig. 3, the method for determining terminal capability includes the following steps:
step 301, receiving carrier aggregation capability report information sent by a terminal, where the carrier aggregation capability report information carries at least layer number indication information for indicating layer number information respectively supported by multiple carriers in downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal;
step 302, judging whether the carrier aggregation capability report information carries continuous carrier aggregation indication information;
step 303, if the carrier aggregation capability report information carries continuous carrier aggregation indication information, determining that downlink carrier aggregation supported by the terminal is continuous carrier aggregation, and determining layer number information respectively supported by multiple carriers in the continuous carrier aggregation supported by the terminal according to the layer number indication information.
