Abstract
The invention discloses a rectangular reed jack terminal of an electric connector, which comprises a jack and rectangular reeds, wherein one end of the jack is a jack head matched with the reeds, the other end of the jack is a crimping body integrally formed with the jack head, the jack head comprises a pair of oppositely arranged mounting plates, the pair of mounting plates are connected through a plurality of U-shaped jack connecting bridges, the jack connecting bridges are positioned on the mounting plates and are adjacent to the connecting sides of the crimping body and the jack head, and riveting holes are formed on one side, far away from the crimping body, of the pair of mounting plates and one side, far away from the jack connecting bridges; the reed comprises a pair of reed bases which are oppositely arranged, the pair of reed bases are connected through a reed connecting bridge which is U-shaped, and one side of the pair of reed bases adjacent to the reed connecting bridge and the opposite side are respectively provided with a rivet matched with the riveting hole; the jack terminal can adapt to the assembly of the reed in the 90-degree or 180-degree direction, so that the plug of the pin inserting sheet in two directions can be realized.

Background
Contacts are critical components of an electrical connector, while pins and receptacles are a common combination in electrical connectors. In the current industry market, the jacks are generally machined, the machining efficiency is low, and the cost is high. Meanwhile, the structure capable of being machined is generally simpler, the inserting and pulling directions of the inserting pins are limited, and the functions capable of being achieved are limited.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to solve the problems in the prior art, the invention aims to provide a rectangular reed jack terminal of an electric connector, wherein the jack head of the jack terminal is provided with two vertical opening sides, and the jack terminal can adapt to the assembly of a reed in the 90-degree or 180-degree direction, so that the insertion and extraction of a pin insert in two directions can be realized.
In order to achieve the above purpose, the invention adopts the following technical scheme: the rectangular reed jack terminal of the electric connector comprises a jack and rectangular reeds, wherein one end of the jack is a jack head matched with the reeds, the other end of the jack is a crimping body integrally formed with the jack head, the jack head comprises a pair of oppositely arranged mounting plates, the pair of mounting plates are connected through a plurality of U-shaped jack connecting bridges, the jack connecting bridges are positioned on the mounting plates on the adjacent sides of the crimping body and the jack head connecting sides, and riveting holes are formed in one side, far away from the crimping body, of the mounting plates and one side, far away from the jack connecting bridges; the reed comprises a pair of reed bases which are oppositely arranged, the pair of reed bases are connected through a reed connecting bridge which is U-shaped, and rivets matched with the riveting holes are arranged on one side, adjacent to the reed connecting bridge, of the pair of reed bases and on the opposite side.
As a preferred implementation mode, a plurality of contact pairs are uniformly distributed on one pair of reed bases, and a contact pair gap is arranged between two adjacent contact pairs.
As another preferred embodiment, the contact pair comprises contact points which are positioned on a pair of reed matrixes and are opposite to each other, and elastic sections which are positioned on two sides of the contact points, wherein the contact points are raised and higher than the reed matrixes, an inserting gap of a pin inserting sheet is formed between the opposite contact points, a V-shaped forming angle is formed between the contact points and the elastic sections, and the contact points are the apexes of the V-shape.
As another preferred embodiment, the rivet includes a rivet free end and a connecting end connecting the rivet free end to the reed base.
As another preferred embodiment, one side, connected with the crimping body, of one mounting plate of the jack head is provided with a support for limiting, and the other mounting plate is provided with a support positioning pin matched with the support.
As another preferred embodiment, the crimp body includes an opening arc for adapting to crimping of cable insulation layers and wire cores of different types, and the opening radians of the different opening arcs are different.
As another preferred embodiment, a pair of the mounting plates are each provided with a terminal positioning hole at the center thereof.
As another preferred embodiment, a pair of riveting holes are respectively formed in the pair of mounting plates on the side far away from the press-connection body and the side far away from the jack connection bridge, and the pair of riveting holes are symmetrically arranged with respect to the center of the mounting plates.

The spring plate base body is provided with a plurality of contact pairs, each contact pair comprises a contact point and an elastic section, the contact points are designed to be V-shaped forming angles, the contact points are V-shaped vertexes, the elastic sections are distributed on two sides of the V shape and are in wave crest shapes, and meanwhile, contact pair gaps are designed among the contact pairs, so that the force of a contact pin inserting sheet during insertion can be dispersed, proper inserting force is kept, and the elastic sections on two sides of the contact point of the spring plate can reduce the vertical stress of the spring plate during insertion of the contact pin inserting sheet, and the contact force of the contact point is increased; when the contact pin inserting piece is inserted, the elastic section can be contacted with the mounting plate at the head of the jack after being stressed radially, so that the contact area between the reed base body and the mounting plate is increased, the current transmission distance is shortened, and the temperature rise value and the contact resistance value can be effectively reduced.
4. After the reed is assembled between the mounting plates, the supporting and supporting locating pins can be used for limiting, so that the contact point gap is prevented from being changed due to deformation when the terminal is crimped with the cable.
5. The terminal positioning hole in the center of the mounting plate can be matched with other parts of the connector to perform quick positioning, and quick and simple assembly can be realized.
6. The jack terminal can be widely applied to electric connectors in the fields of new energy automobiles, rail transit, industrial special vehicles and the like.

as shown in fig. 1 and 2, a rectangular reed jack terminal of an electrical connector, which is compatible with 90 ° and 180 ° insertion and extraction of a pin insert 30, is composed of a jack 10 and a rectangular reed 20; the jack 10 comprises a jack head 11 and a crimping body 12, wherein the jack head 11 is composed of two opposite mounting plates 13, the two mounting plates 13 are connected through 3U-shaped jack connecting bridges 14, the two mounting plates 13 are opposite to two sides parallel to the axis of the jack 10, the two mounting plates 13 are generally rectangular or square in cross section and are provided with a limited support 15 and a support positioning pin 16 on the rectangular or square surface, one side of the mounting plates 13 far away from and perpendicular to the axis of the jack 10 is provided with a riveting hole 17, and the other side of the mounting plates 13 parallel to the axis of the jack 10 is also provided with a riveting hole 17, wherein the riveting hole 17 is used for fixing a reed 20; the center of the two mounting plates 13 is designed with terminal positioning openings 18 to facilitate quick mounting and positioning of the receptacle terminals with other parts of the connector.
The socket head 11 has two open sides for mounting of the spring 20 and insertion of the pin insert 30, one being an opening formed by the side of the mounting plate 13 at the distal end of the socket head 11 perpendicular to the axis of the socket 10 and the other being an opening formed by the side of the mounting plate 13 parallel to the axis of the socket 10.
In this embodiment, the press-connection body 12 has two open circular arcs 19 with different sizes, which are respectively adapted to the press-connection of the cable insulation layer and the wire core, and the press-connection body 12 and the jack head 11 are integrally formed and connected together to form the jack 10 of the jack terminal.
As shown in fig. 3, 6 and 7, the spring plate 20 includes two opposite spring plate bases 22 of the same structure connected by a spring plate connecting bridge 21 bent in a "U" shape, the spring plate bases 22 being parallel to the axis of the insertion hole 10 and perpendicular to the axis of the insertion hole 10 and being spaced apart from both sides of the crimp body 12, each having a rivet 23 for mounting the spring plate 20 on the insertion hole 10, the rivet 23 of the spring plate bases 22 on both sides being identical in structure and being arranged in an axisymmetric manner along the axis of the insertion hole 10. The rivet 23 includes a rivet free end 24 and a connecting end that connects to the reed base 22.
The contact pairs 25 are uniformly distributed on the reed base 22, a contact pair gap 26 is designed between two adjacent contact pairs 25, the contact pairs 25 comprise contact points 27 and elastic sections 28, the contact points 27 are raised and higher than the reed base 22, a minimum gap is formed between the contact points 27 after the two side reed bases 22 are bent, and is also the insertion gap of the contact pin inserting sheet 30, as shown in the top view of the reed in fig. 7, the elastic sections 28 at the two sides of the contact points 27 are provided with V-shaped forming corners 29 on the plane of the reed base 22, and when the contact pin inserting sheet 30 is inserted, as shown in fig. 8, the stress of the contact pairs 25 of the reed 20 can be dispersed in multiple directions, and the stress of a vertical insertion surface is reduced, so that the insertion contact force is increased. Meanwhile, after the pin inserting piece 30 is inserted, the stressed elastic section 28 can be contacted with the mounting plate 13 of the jack head 11, so that the transmission area is increased, the transmission distance is shortened, the temperature rise and the contact resistance are reduced, and the parameters of the contact pair 25, the contact point 27, the elastic section 28 and the forming angle 29 can be different according to different use conditions.
As shown in fig. 4 and 5, spring 20 may be assembled in two ways, namely, in 90 ° and 180 ° mating orientations with respect to pin blade 30.

The rectangular reed jack terminal of the electric connector is characterized by comprising a jack and rectangular reeds, wherein one end of the jack is a jack head matched with the reeds, the other end of the jack is a crimping body integrally formed with the jack head, the jack head comprises a pair of oppositely arranged mounting plates, the pair of mounting plates are connected through a plurality of U-shaped jack connecting bridges, the jack connecting bridges are positioned on the mounting plates on the adjacent sides of the crimping body and the jack head connecting sides, and riveting holes are respectively formed on one side, far away from the crimping body, of the mounting plates and one side, far away from the jack connecting bridges; the reed comprises a pair of reed bases which are oppositely arranged, the pair of reed bases are connected through a U-shaped reed connecting bridge, and rivets matched with the riveting holes are arranged on one side, adjacent to the reed connecting bridge, of the pair of reed bases and on the opposite side; a plurality of contact pairs are uniformly distributed on the reed base body, and a contact pair gap is arranged between two adjacent contact pairs; the contact pair comprises contact points which are positioned on a pair of reed matrixes and are opposite to each other, and elastic sections which are positioned on two sides of the contact points, wherein the contact points are raised and higher than the reed matrixes, a plugging gap for plugging pin and inserting sheets is formed between the opposite contact points, a V-shaped forming angle is formed between the contact points and the elastic sections, and the contact points are vertexes of the V-shape; the rivet comprises a rivet free end and a connecting end for connecting the rivet free end and the reed base body.
2. The rectangular reed jack terminal of the electrical connector of claim 1, wherein one of the mounting plates of the jack head is provided with a support for limiting on the side connected to the crimp body, and the other mounting plate is provided with a support positioning pin matching the support.
3. The electrical connector rectangular reed jack terminal of claim 1, wherein the crimp body comprises open arcs for accommodating different types of cable insulation and wire core crimping, and the open radians of the different open arcs are different.
4. The electrical connector rectangular reed jack terminal of claim 1, wherein a pair of said mounting plates are each provided with a terminal positioning aperture in the center thereof.
5. The rectangular reed jack terminal of the electrical connector of claim 1, wherein a pair of rivet holes are provided in a side of the mounting plate facing away from the crimp body and a side facing away from the jack connection bridge, and the pair of rivet holes are symmetrically disposed about a center of the mounting plate.
