The alignment ribs 47, 57 engage the channels 62 in the accessory interface such that they slide into the channels 62 when the respective accessory is inserted into the accessory interface.

However, the wand 50 includes a sleeve 58 that houses a corresponding wand power connector (not shown) that can be engaged with the power connector 36 at the inlet 6 so that power from the battery 5 can be provided to the cleaning head for Brush stick motor powered.
