Abstract

Description
发明领域
本发明涉及粘合性聚乙烯组合物和使用这些组合物的多层层压薄膜。本发明特别涉及适合用于将一层乙烯高聚物层和一层聚酰胺树脂和/或一种乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物粘合在一起的粘合性聚乙烯组合物,本发明还涉及在粘合层中使用了这些组合物的多层层压薄膜。
发明背景
一般均了解乙烯高聚物和聚酰胺树脂的层压薄膜、乙烯高聚物和乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物的层压薄膜。也提出过许多用于制造层压薄膜的能形成层的粘合材料。例如,日本公开专利165413/1982揭示了将一种由线型低密度聚乙烯与一种不饱和羧酸或其衍生物反应获得的改性聚乙烯,和一种由改性聚乙烯与合成橡胶和/或一种线型低密度聚乙烯共混获得的改性聚乙烯组合物用作能形成层的粘合材料。日本公开专利165469/1982揭示了一种将一种线型低密度聚乙烯和一种合成橡胶的混合物用一种不饱和羧酸或其衍生物改性获得的粘合性树脂组合物。
然而,一般提出的能形成层的粘合材料存在一些问题。例如当制备收缩薄膜时,材料需经过拉伸操作,乙烯高聚物层和聚酰胺树脂层或乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物之间的层间强度会明显下降,从而使得到的层压薄膜未必具有足够的粘合强度。
收缩薄膜可用作如使用自动包装机包装火腿的各种材料。包装中,在热合薄膜两端,和随后的热收缩阶段,热合部位需施加一定的压力。因此要求收缩薄膜应具有高的热合强度。
还有在食品的包装中,包装后的收缩薄膜一般需在不低于80℃的温度下沸腾消毒处理,因此要求收缩薄膜具有耐高温性(不低于80℃)。
因此需要能对乙烯高聚物、聚酰胺树脂和乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物显示优良的粘合强度,具有高热合强度和耐热性的粘合性聚乙烯组合物。也需要一种多层层压薄膜,在它的乙烯高聚物层和聚酰胺树脂层和/或乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物之间插入了一层上述组合物的粘合层。
发明目的
本发明的目的是提供一种能对乙烯高聚物、聚酰胺树脂和乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物显示优良的粘合强度,具有高热合强度和耐热性的粘合性聚乙烯组合物。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种多层层压薄膜,在它的乙烯高聚物层和聚酰胺树脂层和乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物之间插入了一层粘合性聚乙烯组合物的粘合层。
本发明还有一个目的是提供一种多层层压薄膜,该薄膜具有在未拉伸或拉伸状态均显示优良的粘合强度的上述粘合性聚乙烯组合物的粘合层。
发明概述
根据本发明的一种粘合性聚乙烯组合物,它包括:
[I]用不饱和羧酸或其衍生物,以改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]为100%(重量)计,不饱和羧酸或其衍生物的接枝量为0.01-5%(重量),将一种未改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]或一种未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B1]分别改性获得的一种改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]或一种改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B2],上述树脂[A1]和弹性体[B1]分别是一种乙烯和3-20个碳原子的α-烯烃的共聚物,并具有下列性质:
(i)密度范围为0.860-0.930克/厘米3;和
(ii)由X-衍射测定的结晶度不大于60%;
[II]一种未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]和/或一种未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[C2];和
[III]一种增粘剂[D],
其中的组合物具有下列性质:
(a)以全部组合物为100%(重量)计,增粘剂[D]的含量为0.1-20%(重量);
(b)以全部组合物为100%(重量)计,不饱和羧酸或其衍生物的接枝量范围为0.01-1.0%(重量);
(c)密度范围为0.880-0.920克/厘米3;
(d)由X-衍射测定的结晶度范围为15-50%;和
(e)熔体流动速率(ASTM D1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷)范围为0.1-50克/10分钟。
本发明的粘合性聚乙烯组合物是适合用作收缩薄膜的一种粘合性树脂组合物。
根据本发明,一种多层层压薄膜是一种三层或三层以上的层压制品,按以下顺序叠合,它包含一层包含一种乙烯含量不少于70%(摩尔)的乙烯高聚物层[I],一层包含本发明的粘合性聚乙烯组合物的粘合层[II],以及聚酰胺树脂层[III]、乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物层[IV]和聚酰胺树脂与乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物混合物层[V]中的任意一层或多层。
乙烯高聚物最好是一种低密度聚乙烯或一种乙烯/乙酸乙烯酯共聚物。发明详细描述
下面详细描述本发明的粘合性聚乙烯组合物和使用这些组合物的多层层压薄膜。
粘合性聚乙烯组合物
首先描述本发明的粘合性聚乙烯组合物。
本发明的粘合性聚乙烯组合物包括用一种不饱和羧酸或其衍生物接枝一种特定的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]或一种特定的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B1]获得的一种改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]或一种乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B2],还包括一种未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]和/或一种未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[C2],和一种增粘剂[D]。
未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]、[C1]
本发明使用的未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]包括乙烯和一种3-20个碳原子的α-烯烃。
在乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]中的乙烯组成不小于70%(摩尔),最好为75-95%(摩尔)。
α-烯烃的例子包括丙烯、1-丁烯、1-戊烯、1-己烯、4-甲基-1-戊烯、1-辛烯和1-癸烯。其中最好使用丙烯、1-丁烯、1-己烯、4-甲基-1-戊烯和1-辛烯。可单独或两种或多种组合使用这些α-烯烃。
乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]的密度为0.860-0.930克/厘米3,较好的为大于0.900克/厘米3和不大于0.930克/厘米3,更好的为0.905-0.925克/厘米3。
由差示扫描量热法(DSC)测定的在乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]的吸热曲线上最大峰值的温度(熔点,Tm)不高于125℃,较好的为100-125℃。
由X-衍射测定的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]的结晶度不大于60%,较好的为20-50%,更好的为30-45%。
乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]的熔体流动速率(MFR,ASTM D1238,2.16公斤负荷)通常为0.01-100克/10分钟,较好的为0.1-50克/10分钟,更好的为0.2-20克/10分钟。
本发明使用的较好的未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]是一种乙烯和3-20个碳原子的α-烯烃的共聚物的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1],它具有下面的性质:
(i)密度大于0.900克/厘米3并且不大于0.930克/厘米3,
(ii)由差示扫描量热法(DSC)测定的在上述共聚物树脂的吸热曲线上最大峰值的温度(熔点,Tm)不高于125℃,较好的为100-125℃,和
(iii)由X-衍射测定的结晶度不大于60%。
乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]可与乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]相同或不同。
通过已知的使用钛(Ti)型或锆(Zr)型催化剂的方法可以制备具有上述性质的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]或[C1]。
未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B1]、[C2]
未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B1]、[C2]各自是一种乙烯和3-20个碳原子的α-烯烃的共聚物,其密度通常为0.860-0.930克/厘米3,较好的为0.860-0.900克/厘米3,更好的为0.860-0.895克/厘米3,最好的为0.860-0.890克/厘米3,熔体流动速率(MFR,ASTM D1238,190℃,2.16负荷)一般为0.01-200克/10分钟,较好的为0.01-100克/10分钟,更好的为0.05-50克/10分钟。
要求由X-衍射测定的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B1]和[C2]的结晶度小于30%,或要求其为无定形的。
3-20个碳原子的α-烯烃的例子包括丙烯、1-丁烯、1-戊烯、1-己烯、4-甲基-1-戊烯、1-辛烯和1-癸烯和它们的混合物。其中最好为3-10个碳原子的α-烯烃。
本发明使用的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B1]和[C2]就保持弹性体的性质而言,可有不是由α-烯烃得到的构分链节如从二烯化合物得到的构分链节。
在乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B1]和[C2]中可含的这样构分链节的例子包括:
由线型非共轭二烯,如1,4-己二烯、1,6-辛二烯、2-甲基-1,5-己二烯、6-甲基-1,5-庚二烯和7-甲基-1,6-辛二烯得到的构分链节;
由环状非共轭二烯,如环己二烯、双环戊二烯、甲基四氢化茚、5-乙烯基降冰片烯、5-亚乙基-2-降冰片烯、5-亚甲基-2-降冰片烯、5-异亚丙基-2-降冰片烯、6-氯甲基-5-异丙烯基-2-降冰片烯得到的构分链节;和
由二烯化合物,如2,3-二异亚丙基-5-降冰片烯、2-亚乙基-3-异亚丙基-5-降冰片烯和2-丙烯基-2,2-降冰片二烯得到的构分链节。
可以单独或组合使用这些二烯。由二烯得到的构分链节含量一般不大于10%(摩尔),较好的为0-5%(摩尔)。
乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B1]和[C2]可以相同或不同。
通过已知的使用钛型(Ti)、钒型(V)或锆型(Zr)催化剂可以制备乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B1]和[C2]。
改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]
本发明使用的改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]可通过用一种不饱和羧酸或其衍生物接枝未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]获得。
在本发明使用的改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物[A2]中,不饱和羧酸或其衍生物的接枝量范围,以改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]为100%(重量)计,为0.01-5%(重量),较好的为0.1-3%(重量)。
用于接枝未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]的不饱和羧酸的例子包括丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、马来酸、富马酸和衣康酸。不饱和羧酸衍生物的例子包括不饱和羧酸的酐、酯、酰胺、酰亚胺和金属盐。具体例子包括马来酐、endic酐(HimicTM酐)、衣康酸酐、柠康酐、丙烯酸甲酯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸乙酯、甲基丙烯酸乙酯、丙烯酸缩水甘油酯、马来酸单乙酯、马来酸二乙酯、富马酸单乙酯、富马酸二乙酯、衣康酸单乙酯、衣康酸二乙酯、丙烯酰胺、甲基丙烯酰胺、马来酸单酰胺、马来二酰胺、马来酸-N-单乙酰胺、马来-N,N-二乙酰胺、马来酸-N-单丁酰胺、马来-N,N-二丁酰胺、富马酸单酰胺、富马二酰胺、富马酸-N-单丁酰胺、富马-N,N-二丁酰胺、马来酰亚胺、N-丁基马来酰亚胺、N-苯基马来酰亚胺、丙烯酸钠、甲基丙烯酸钠、丙烯酸钾和甲基丙烯酸钾。在接枝单体中,最好使用马来酐和HimicT酐。
通过各种常规的方法可以用不饱和羧酸或其衍生物对乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]进行接枝改性。
例如,有一种熔融改性的方法,用一挤出机将乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]熔化,再将一种接枝单体加入到熔融的树脂中进行接枝共聚。有一种溶液改性的方法,将乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]溶解在一种溶剂中,然后在溶液中加入一种接枝单体进行接枝共聚。这两种方法以使用挤出机的熔融改性方法为佳。在这两种方法中,最好都在一种自由基引发剂存在下引发反应,以便使接枝单体有效地进行共聚。
这类自由基引发剂的例子包括有机过氧化物和有机过酸酯。更具体地,如下所述:
有机过氧化物,如过氧化苯甲酰、二氯过氧化苯甲酰、过氧化二枯基、二-叔丁基过氧化物、2,5-二甲基-2,5-二(过苯甲酸酯)-3-己炔、1,4-双(叔丁基过氧异丙基)苯和过氧化月桂酰;
有机过酸酯,如过乙酸叔丁酯、2,5-二甲基-2,5-二(叔丁基过氧)-3-己炔、2,5-二甲基-2,5-二(叔丁基过氧)己烷、过苯甲酸叔丁酯、过苯乙酸叔丁酯、过异丁酸叔丁酯、过仲辛酸叔丁酯、过新戊酸叔丁酯、过新戊酸枯酯和过二乙基乙酸叔丁酯;和
偶氮化合物,如偶氮二异丁腈和偶氮二丁酸二甲酯。
在这些引发剂中,较好的为二烷基过氧化物,如二枯基过氧化物、二叔丁基过氧化物、2,5-二甲基-2,5-二(过苯甲酸酯)-3-己炔、2,5-二甲基-2,5-二(叔丁基过氧)己烷和1,4-双(叔丁基过氧异丙基)苯。
以乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]为100重量份计,自由基引发剂的用量一般为0.001-1重量份。
接枝反应可在其他单体如苯乙烯存在下进行。
以改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]为100%(重量)计,接枝到乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]的不饱和羧酸或其衍生物的量(称为接枝量)的范围为0.01-5%(重量)。
改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B2]
通过用一种不饱和羧酸或其衍生物对乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B1]接枝可获得在本发明中使用的改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B2]。
在本发明中优选使用的改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B2]是一种通过用一种不饱和羧酸或其衍生物对乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体改性获得的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体,其接枝量为0.01-5%(重量),所述的弹性体是乙烯和3-20个碳原子的α-烯烃的共聚物,具有下列性质:
(i)密度范围为0.860-0.900克/厘米3,和
(ii)由X衍射测定的结晶度小于30%。
在接枝改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B1]中,可使用与制备乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]相同的不饱和羧酸或其衍生物。还可使用上述制备乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]的相同接枝改性方法来接枝乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B1]。
增粘剂[D]
在本发明中使用的增粘剂[D]是一种固体无定形聚合物,通常在如胶粘带、涂料和热熔粘合剂等各种领域中用作增粘剂。使用了下述作为增粘剂的各种树脂,它们可按其聚合的单体种类分类:
由石油、石脑油等裂解获得的C4和C5馏分、其混合物和如在C5馏分的任选馏分中的异戊二烯和1,3-戊二烯为主要原料制备的脂族烃树脂;
由苯乙烯衍生物和在石油、石脑油等裂解中获得的C9馏分中的茚为主要原料制备的芳烃树脂;
由C4馏分和C5馏分中的任一馏分与C9馏分一起共聚制备的脂族/芳族共聚烃树脂;
由芳烃树脂的加氢制备的脂环烃;
具有含脂族、脂环族和芳烃树脂结构的合成萜烃树脂;
用松节油中的α,β-蒎烯为原料的制备的萜烃树脂;
用煤焦油石脑油中的茚和苯乙烯为原料制备的苯并呋喃-茚树脂;
低分子量苯乙烯树脂;和松香树脂。
在这些增粘剂[D]中,优选的是脂族烃树脂和由芳烃树脂加氢制备的脂环烃树脂,因为这两类树脂在改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]或改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B2]和未改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]或弹性体[C2]中具有良好的分散性。其中更好的为其软化点(由环球法测定)为105-150℃,较好为110-140℃,芳基加氢度不小于80%,较好为不小于85%的脂环烃。
粘合性聚乙烯组合物
本发明的粘合性聚乙烯组合物的密度为0.880-0.920克/厘米3,较好的为0.900-0.920克/厘米3。按下面的方式测定密度。将在190℃,2.16公斤负荷下测定熔体流动速率时获得的线料,在120℃加热1小时,然后在1小时的时间内慢慢冷却到室温,用梯度密度管测定密度。
由X-衍射测定的该组合物的结晶度范围为15-50%,较好的为30-45%。
在组合物中,不饱和羧酸或其衍生物的接枝量范围,以全部组合物为100%(重量)计,为0.01-1.0%(重量),较好的为0.1-0.8%(重量)。
组合物的熔体流动速率(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷)为0.1-50克/10分钟,较好的为0.2-10克/10分钟,更好的为0.5-5克/10分钟。
在本发明的粘合性聚乙烯组合物中的组分比如下。
(1)当粘合性聚乙烯组合物由改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]、未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]和增粘剂[D]组成时,组合物中含有的改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]和未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]之比([A2]/[C1],重量比)为10/90-70/30,较好的为20/80-60/40。
(2)当粘合性聚乙烯组合物由改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]、未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[C2]和增粘剂[D]组成时,组合物中含有的改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]和未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[C2]之比([A2]/[C2],重量比)为95/5-5/95,较好的为90/10-10/90,特别好的为80/20-20/80。
(3)当粘合性聚乙烯组合物由改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]、未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]、未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[C2]和增粘剂[D]组成时,组合物中含有的改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]和未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]与未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[C2]之比([A2]+[C1]/[C2],重量比)为95/5-5/95,较好的为90/10-10/90,特别好的为80/20-20/80,改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]与未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]之比([A2]/[C1],重量比)范围为10/90-70/30,较好的为20/80-60/40。
(4)当粘合性聚乙烯组合物由改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B2]、未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]和增粘剂[D]组成时,组合物中含有的改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B2]和未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]之比([B2]/[C1],重量比)为5/95-95/5,较好的为90/10-10/90,特别好的为80/20-20/80。
(5)当粘合性聚乙烯组合物由改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B2]、未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]、未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[C2]和增粘剂[D]组成时,组合物中含有的改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B2]和未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[C2]与未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]之比([B2]+[C2]/[C1],重量比)为95/5-5/95,较好的为90/10-10/90,更好的为80/20-20/80,特别好的为75/25-50/50,改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B2]与未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[C2]之比([B2]/[C2],重量比)范围为100/0-30/70,较好的为100/0-40/60。
在组合物(1)-(5)中,以全部组合物为100%(重量)计,增粘剂[D]用量范围为0.5-30%(重量),较好的为1-20%(重量),特别好的为2-15%(重量)。
在上面的粘合性聚乙烯组合物中,优选的是由改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B2]、未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]和增粘剂[D]组成的聚乙烯组合物,因为这一组合物显示了最高的粘合性。在这一聚乙烯组合物中,改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B2]含量,以全部组合物为100%(重量)计,为5-95%(重量),较好的为10-50%(重量),更好的为20-40%(重量)。
粘合性聚乙烯组合物的制备
可通过常规的方法制备本发明的粘合性聚乙烯组合物,例如,在混合装置如Henschel混合器、双料筒混合器、螺带式掺混机和滚桶式掺混机中混合上面的组分,或在各种捏合装置如单螺杆挤出机、双螺杆挤出机、捏合机和班伯里混炼机熔融捏合得到的混合物,再造粒或粉化得到的树脂。
在不影响本发明的目的的限度内,一般可加入到聚烯烃中的各种添加剂也可加入到本发明的组合物中,如热稳定剂、耐候稳定剂、抗静电剂、成核剂、颜料和染料,其他聚烯烃、乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物的皂化产物、聚酯树脂、聚酰胺树脂、蜡等也可加入到本发明的组合物中。
本发明的粘合性聚乙烯组合物包括上面对乙烯高聚物、聚酰胺树脂和乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物显示高粘合强度的组分。
多层层压薄膜
下面描述本发明的多层层压薄膜。
本发明的多层层压薄膜是一种三层或三层以上的层压制品,按以下顺序叠合,它包括,一层包含一种乙烯高聚物的乙烯高聚物层[I],一层包含本发明的粘合性聚乙烯组合物的粘合层[II],和/或一层聚酰胺树脂层[III],和/或一层乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物层[IV]或一层一种聚酰胺树脂和一种乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物的混合物层[V]。
乙烯高聚物中的乙烯含量不小于70%(摩尔),较好的为70-100%(摩尔),更好的为80-100%(摩尔)。
这类乙烯高聚物的例子包括高密度聚乙烯、线型低密度聚乙烯、高压低密度聚乙烯、乙烯/乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(EVA)、乙烯/丙烯酸乙酯共聚物、乙烯/丙烯酸共聚物和离子键树脂。其中所用的是低密度聚乙烯和EVA,特别好的是各自密度不大于0.930克/厘米3的线型低密度聚乙烯和EVA。
优选使用的聚酰胺树脂的例子包括尼龙6、尼龙66、尼龙610、尼龙12、尼龙11、MXD尼龙、无定形尼龙和对苯二甲酸/己二酸/六亚甲基二胺共聚物。
对乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物,优选使用乙烯含量20-50%(摩尔)的共聚物。
通过将乙烯和乙酸乙烯酯共聚物皂化可以制备这样的乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物。
下面给出本发明的多层层压薄膜的一些实施方案。
(1)一种乙烯高聚物层[I]/粘合层[II]/聚酰胺树脂层[III]的三层层压薄膜,
(2)一种乙烯高聚物层[I]/粘合层[II]/乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物层[IV]的三层层压薄膜,
(3)一种乙烯高聚物层[I]/粘合层[II]/一种聚酰胺树脂和乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物的混合物层[V]的三层层压薄膜,
(4)一种乙烯高聚物层[I]/粘合层[II]/聚酰胺树脂层[III]/乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物层[IV]的四层层压薄膜,
(5)一种乙烯高聚物层[I]/粘合层[II]/乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物层[IV]/聚酰胺树脂层[III]的四层层压薄膜,
(6)一种乙烯高聚物层[I]/粘合层[II]/一种聚酰胺树脂和乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物的混合物层[V]/聚酰胺树脂层[III]的四层层压薄膜,
(7)一种乙烯高聚物层[I]/粘合层[II]/一种聚酰胺树脂和乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物的混合物层[V]/乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物层[IV]的四层层压薄膜,
(8)一种乙烯高聚物层[I]/粘合层[II]/聚酰胺树脂层[III]/粘合层[II]/乙烯高聚物层[I]的五层层压薄膜,
(9)一种乙烯高聚物层[I]/粘合层[II]/乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物层[IV]/粘合层[II]/乙烯高聚物层[I]的五层层压薄膜,
(10)一种乙烯高聚物层[I]/粘合层[II]/聚酰胺树脂和乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物的混合物层[V]/粘合层[II]/乙烯高聚物层[I]的五层层压薄膜,
(11)一种乙烯高聚物层[I]/粘合层[II]/乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物层[IV]/粘合层[II]的四层层压薄膜,
(12)一种乙烯高聚物层[I]/粘合层[II]/聚酰胺树脂层[III]/粘合层[II]的四层层压薄膜。
本发明的多层层压薄膜例如三层薄膜可通过在熔融状态将一层乙烯高聚物、一层粘合层和一层聚酰胺树脂和/或乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物层压制成。
可采用各种方法制备多层层压薄膜,如共挤出、薄膜流延成型、吹塑(薄膜吹塑)和拉幅机或管子的双轴取向。
当采用T-模头的流延成型方法制备本发明的多层层压薄膜时,要求成型速度要高,如不小于20米/分钟,较好为20-150米/分钟,这样得到的薄膜具有高的粘合强度。
成型后,可使本发明的多层层压薄膜保持原状态,即未拉伸状态或可以单轴拉伸,较好为双轴取向。当多层层压薄膜包括聚酰胺树脂[III]时,最好将薄膜拉伸使用。当多层层压薄膜包括乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物层[IV]时,可以在未拉伸状态也可以在拉伸状态使用薄膜。通过拉伸可以增加薄膜的强度,因此如果要求多层层压薄膜具有高强度,最好拉伸薄膜。一般在拉伸薄膜时,薄膜的粘合层的粘合强度明显下降。然而本发明的多层层压薄膜即使经过拉伸,仍未出现粘合强度的明显下降,并在实际应用中保持足够的粘合强度。要求本发明的薄膜至少以1.5-6.0倍的拉伸比进行单轴拉伸。在双轴拉伸取向的情况,薄膜最好以1.5-6.0倍的拉伸比双轴取向。
在制备用作收缩薄膜的多层层压薄膜时,一般在70-130℃的拉伸温度下以2×2-5×5倍(纵向×横向)的拉伸比进行拉伸(取向)。在这样的条件下制备的薄膜的厚度为10-200微米。薄膜在70-130℃,其长度或宽度可收缩5%-50%。
发明效果
本发明的的粘合性聚乙烯组合物对乙烯高聚物、聚酰胺树脂和乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物显示优良的粘合强度,并具有高热合强度和耐热性。
本发明的多层层压薄膜除了具有优良的强度、耐热性、气体阻隔性和热收缩性之外,无论在未拉伸状态还是在拉伸状态均显示极高的粘合强度。
因此,本发明的多层层压薄膜可适合于用作包装食品和肉类如火腿的收缩薄膜。
实施例
参照下面的实施例进一步说明本发明,但其不能构成对本发明的限制。
实施例1
改性乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物树脂(MAH-PE-1)的制备
将使用一种钛催化剂制备的100重量份乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物树脂(缩写为“PE-1”,密度:0.920克/厘米3,熔点(Tm):124℃,结晶度:48%,MFR(ASTM D1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷):2.0克/10分钟,乙烯含量:96%(摩尔)),0.8重量份马来酐和0.07重量份过氧化物(商品名为Perhexine-25B,可从NOF公司购得)在一个Henschel混合器中混合。用单螺杆挤出机(直径:65毫米)在230℃设定温度下对得到的混合物进行熔融接枝改性,以获得一种改性的乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物树脂(缩写为“MAH-PE-1”)。
通过红外分析测定在改性的乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物树脂(MAH-PE-1)中马来酐的接枝量为0.8%(重量)。这一共聚物树脂的MFR(190℃,2.16公斤负荷)为0.27克/10分钟,熔点为122℃。
改性聚乙烯组合物(1)的制备
将10重量份上面获得的改性的乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物树脂(MAH-PE-1)、30重量份未改性乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物树脂(PE-1)、使用一种钒催化剂制备的30重量份乙烯/丙烯共聚物橡胶(缩写为“EPR”,密度:0.865克/厘米3,MFR(190℃,2.16公斤负荷):2.9克/10分钟,乙烯含量:80%(摩尔))、使用一种钒催化剂制备的25重量份乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物橡胶(缩写为“EBR”,密度:0.885克/厘米3,MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷):3.6克/10分钟,乙烯含量:90%(摩尔))、5重量份增粘剂(商品名:Alkon P125,可从Arakawa Chemical Industries购得)、0.05重量份Irganox 1010(商品名:稳定剂,可从Ciba Geigy Japan,Ltd.购得)、0.10重量份Irgafos 168(商品名:稳定剂,可从Ciba Geigy Japan,Ltd.购得)和0.03重量份合成hydrotalcite(商品名:DHT-4A,稳定剂,可从协和化学(株)购得)混合。用一个单螺杆挤出机将得到的混合物熔融捏合,以获得一种改性的聚乙烯组合物(1)。
组合物(1)的密度为0.904克/厘米3,MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷)为2.0克/10分钟,马来酐的接枝量为0.08%(重量),结晶度为35%。
使用组合物(1)可制备一种多层取向薄膜。然后用下列试验方法评价该薄膜对乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物(EVOH)的粘合强度、热合强度和耐热性。
(I)对乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物的粘合强度的试验
在下列条件下将一种乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物(EVOH,商品名:Eval EP-E105,可从Kuraray Co.,Ltd.,购得,MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.165公斤负荷)为5.5克/10分钟,乙烯含量:44%(摩尔))、改性聚乙烯组合物(1)和一种未改性乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物树脂(PE-1)共挤出成一个三层流延薄膜。
成型条件
每一层的结构和厚度:
EVOH(外层)/组合物(1)(中间层)/PE-1(内层)=40/40/160微米
成型机:
具有模头直径为40毫米的挤出机(用于外层)
设定温度:220℃
具有模头直径为40毫米的挤出机(用于中间层)
设定温度:220℃
具有模头直径为40毫米的挤出机(用于内层)
设定温度:220℃
成型速度:5米/分钟
将上面获得的三层薄膜在80℃加热10分钟,随后用一双轴取向设备(东洋精机制作所(株)制造)在此温度同时以纵向3倍拉伸比、横向3倍拉伸比拉伸薄膜。这样制造出一种三层取向薄膜。
将三层取向薄膜冷却至室温后,通过一T-剥离试验,以300毫米/分钟的剥离速度测定在薄膜的EVOH层与组合物层之间的层间强度(剥离强度)。
(II)热合强度试验
用一个热合机TP-701B(由Tester Sangyo K.K.制造)在下列条件下将两个三层取向薄膜热合。随后,以与上述T-剥离试验相同的方式测定粘合强度。
热合条件
温度:140℃
热合压力:2公斤/厘米2
热合时间:1秒
(III)耐热性试验
在两个双轴取向薄膜(正方形薄膜,边长:15厘米)间插入一个木制长方体(10厘10厘米×2厘米),在上述条件下热合薄膜的四边。
随后,将热合的薄膜浸在90℃的热水中达10分钟,使薄膜收缩,观察薄膜是否发生破裂。试验结果列于表1。
实施例2和3
按与实施例1相同的方式获得改性聚乙烯组合物(2)和(3),不同之处为MAH-PE-1、PE-1、EPR、EBR和增粘剂的用量,它们的用量列于表1。
每种组合物的密度、MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.165公斤负荷)、马来酐的接枝量和结晶度列于表1。
用这些组合物按与实施例1相同的方式制备三层取向薄膜。随后,将制得的薄膜进行上述的试验。
试验结果列于表1。
实施例4和5
按与实施例1相同的方式获得改性聚乙烯组合物(4)和(5),不同之处为,使用一种锆催化剂制备的乙烯/1-辛烯共聚物橡胶(缩写为“EOR”,密度:0.870克/厘米3,MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷)为5.8克/10分钟,乙烯含量:85%(摩尔)),其用量列于表1的EBR处,和一种增粘剂“Eskorez 5320”(商品名,可从Tonex Co.购得),其用量列于表1增粘剂“Alkon P125”处(商品名,可从荒川化学工业有限公司购得)。
每种组合物的密度、MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷)、马来酐的接枝量和结晶度列于表1。
用这些组合物按与实施例1相同的方式制备三层取向薄膜。随后将制得的薄膜进行上述的试验。
试验结果列于表1。
实施例6和7
改性乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物弹性体(MAH-PE-2)的制备
将使用一种钒催化剂制备的100重量份实施例1的EBR(密度:0.885克/厘米3,MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷):3.6克/10分钟,乙烯含量:90%(摩尔),熔点(Tm):72℃,结晶度:16%),0.5重量份马来酐和0.045重量份过氧化物(商品名为Perhexine-25B,可从NOF公司购得)在一个Henschel混合器中混合。用一单螺杆挤出机(直径:65毫米),在230℃设定温度下对得到的混合物进行熔融接枝改性,以获得一种改性的乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物弹性体(缩写为“MAH-PE-2”)。
通过红外分析测定在改性的乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物弹性体(MAH-PE-2)中马来酐的接枝量为0.5%(重量)。这一共聚物弹性体的MFR(ASTM D 1238 190℃,2.16公斤负荷)为2.1克/10分钟,熔点为71℃。
改性聚乙烯组合物(6)和(7)的制备
按与实施例1相同的方式获得改性聚乙烯组合物(6)和(7),不同之处为MAH-PE-2、PE-1、EPR和增粘剂Eskorez 5320的用量,它们的用量列于表1。
每种组合物的密度、MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷)、马来酐的接枝量和结晶度列于表1。
用这些组合物按与实施例1相同的方式制备三层取向薄膜。随后,将制得的薄膜进行上述的试验。
试验结果列于表1。
实施例8
按与实施例7相同的方式获得改性聚乙烯组合物(8),不同之处为,使用一种锆催化剂制备的乙烯/1-己烯共聚脂(缩写为“PE-2”,密度:0.932克/厘米3,MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷)为2.1克/10分钟),其使用量列于表1的PE-1处。
组合物(8)的密度、MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷)、马来酐的接枝量和结晶度列于表1。
用组合物(8)按与实施例1相同的方式制备三层取向薄膜。随后将制得的薄膜进行上述的试验。
试验结果列于表1。
比较实施例1
改性高密度聚乙烯树脂(MAH-PE-3)的制备
通过一种溶液改性方法,将使用一种钛催化剂制备的一种高密度聚乙烯(缩写为“HDPE”,密度:0.965克/厘米3,MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷):15克/10分钟,熔点(Tm):132℃,结晶度:75%)用马来酐在甲苯溶剂中接枝,以获得一种改性高密度聚乙烯树脂(缩写为“MAH-PE-3”)。
在改性高密度聚乙烯树脂(MHA-PE-3)中马来酐的接枝量为2.2%(重量)。这一树脂的MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷):4.2克/10分钟,熔点(Tm):127℃。
改性聚乙烯组合物(9)的制备
按与实施例1相同的方式获得一种改性聚乙烯组合物(9),不同之处为,改变组分和用量,这样得到的组合物(9)由5重量份改性高密度聚乙烯树脂(MAH-PE-3)、65重量份未改性乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物树脂(PE-1)和30重量份未改性EPR组成。
组合物(9)的密度、MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷)、马来酐的接枝量和结晶度列于表1。
用组合物(9)按与实施例1相同的方式制备三层取向薄膜。随后将制得的薄膜进行上述的试验。
在改性聚乙烯组合物(9)层和乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物层之间的层间强度和热合强度均较低,不能令人满意。
结果列于表1。
比较实施例2
按与实施例1相同的方式获得一种改性聚乙烯组合物(10),不同之处为,将改性乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物树脂(MAH-PE-1)的量改变为15重量份,以85重量份未改性中密度聚乙烯树脂(缩写为“PE-3”,密度:0.940克/厘米3,MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷):2.2克/10分钟,结晶度:60%)代替65重量份未改性聚乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物树脂(PE-1),并且不使用EPR、EBR和增粘剂。
组合物(10)的密度、MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷)、马来酐的接枝量和结晶度列于表1。
用组合物(10)按与实施例1相同的方式制备三层取向薄膜。随后将制得的薄膜进行上述的试验。
组合物(10)具有0.938克/厘米3的高密度和59%的高结晶度,因此在改性聚乙烯组合物(10)层与乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物层之间的层间强度均较低,不能令人满意。
结果列于表1。
比较实施例3
按与实施例1相同的方式获得一种改性聚乙烯组合物(11),不同之处为,以30重量份的实施例6中的改性乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物弹性体(MAH-PE-2)代替10重量份的改性乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物树脂(MAH-PE-1),并将EPR的量改变为70重量份,不使用PE-1、EBR和增粘剂。
组合物(11)的密度、MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷)、马来酐的接枝量和结晶度列于表1。
用组合物(11)按与实施例1相同的方式制备三层取向薄膜。随后将制得的薄膜进行上述的试验。
组合物(11)具有0.870克/厘米3的密度和13%的结晶度,这两个值均太低。因此,尽管在其改性聚乙烯组合物(11)层与乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物层之间的层间强度和热合强度均很好,但薄膜的耐热性差,致使薄膜发生破裂。
结果列于表1。
比较实施例4
按与实施例1相同的方式获得一种改性聚乙烯组合物(12),不同之处为,分别将改性乙烯/1-丁烯共聚物树脂(MAH-PE-1)和未改性PE-1的量改为15重量份和55重量份,不使用EBR和增粘剂。
组合物(12)的密度、MFR(ASTM D 1238,190℃,2.16公斤负荷)、马来酐的接枝量和结晶度列于表1。
用组合物(12)按与实施例1相同的方式制备三层取向薄膜。随后将制得的薄膜进行上述的试验。
结果列于表1。
比较实施例5
将70重量份的实施例1使用的PE-1、30重量份的实施例6中使用的EPR、0.2重量份马来酐和0.01重量份的过氧化物(商品名:Perhexine-25B,可从NOF公司购得)在一个Henschel混合器中混合。用一个挤出机(直径;65毫米),在230℃设定温度下对得到的混合物进行熔融接枝改性,以获得一种改性聚乙烯混合物(缩写为“MAH-PE-4”)。
通过红外分析测定在改性产物中马来酐的接枝量为0.2%(重量)。这一改性产物的MFR(190℃,2.165公斤负荷)为1.2克/10分钟,熔点为122℃。
将95重量份的上述改性产物、5重量份的Eskorez 5320、0.05重量份的Irganox 1010(商品名,稳定剂,可从Ciba Geigy Japan,Ltd.购得)、0.1重量份Irgafos 168(商品名,稳定剂,由Ciba Geigy Japan,Ltd.购得)和0.03重量份的合成hyrotalcite(商品名:DHT-4A,稳定剂,可从Kyowa Kagaku K.K.购得)在一个Henschel混合器中混合。用一个挤出机(直径:65毫米),在200℃设定温度下对得到的混合物进行熔融共混,以获得一种改性聚乙烯树脂组合物(13)。通过红外分析测定在这一组合物中的马来酐的接枝量为0.2%(重量)。该组合物的MFR(190℃,2.165公斤负荷)为1.3克/10分钟,密度为0.903克/厘米3和结晶度为35%。
用组合物(13)按与实施例1相同的方式制备三层取向薄膜。随后将制得的薄膜进行上述的试验。

Claims (9)
1.一种多层层压薄膜,它是一种三层或三层以上的层压制品,按以下顺序叠合,它包括一层包含一种乙烯含量不少于70%(摩尔)的乙烯高聚物层[I],一层包含粘合性聚乙烯组合物的粘合层[II],以及聚酰胺树脂层[III]、乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物层[IV]和聚酰胺树脂与乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物混合物层[V]中任意一层或多层,所述粘合性聚乙烯组合物包括:
用一种不饱和羧酸或其衍生物,以改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]为100%(重量)计,不饱和羧酸或其衍生物的接枝量为0.01-5%(重量),将一种未改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A1]或一种未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B1]改性获得的一种改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[A2]或一种改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[B2],所述树脂[A1]和弹性体[B1]分别是一种乙烯和3-20个碳原子的α-烯烃的共聚物,它们具有下列性质:
(i)密度范围为0.860-0.930克/厘米3;和
(ii)由X-衍射测定的结晶度不大于60%;
一种未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]和/或一种未改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物弹性体[C2];和

(ii)由X-衍射测定的结晶度小于30%。
3.如权利要求1所述的多层层压薄膜,其特征在于乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物树脂[C1]是一种乙烯和3-20个碳原子的α-烯烃的共聚物,它具有下列性质:
(i)密度大于0.900克/厘米3并且不大于0.930克/厘米3;
(ii)由差示扫描量热法(DSC)测定的在所述共聚物树脂的吸热曲线上最大峰值的温度(熔点,Tm)不高于125℃,并且不低于100℃;和
(iii)由X-衍射测定结晶度不大于60%。
4.如权利要求1-3中任一权利要求所述的多层层压薄膜,其特征在于乙烯高聚物是一种低密度聚乙烯或一种乙烯/乙酸乙烯酯共聚物。
5.如权利要求1-3中任一权利要求所述的多层层压薄膜,其特征在于所述的薄膜至少被单轴拉伸。
6.如权利要求5所述的多层层压薄膜,其特征在于所述的薄膜至少以1.5-6倍的拉伸比被单轴拉伸。
7.如权利要求1-3中任一权利要求所述的多层层压薄膜,其特征在于所述的薄膜被双轴取向。
8.如权利要求7所述的多层层压薄膜,其特征在于所述的薄膜在各轴向上以1.5-6倍的拉伸比被双轴取向。
9.如权利要求1-3中任一权利要求所述的多层层压薄膜,其特征在于所述的薄膜是一种可用于形成收缩薄膜的薄膜。
