Abstract
The invention discloses a display panel, a display device and a driving method of the display device. The display panel includes: a substrate; a display function layer and a speaker layer disposed on the substrate; the speaker layer includes at least two speaker modules. Compared with the prior art, the embodiment of the invention does not need to arrange the opening area reserved for the loudspeaker on the display panel of the display device, thereby avoiding the loudspeaker from occupying the screen space. The embodiment of the invention realizes the effect of arranging the loudspeaker on the display panel, thereby increasing the screen occupation ratio of the display device and being beneficial to realizing the full screen of the display device.
Description
Technical Field

Background
With the continuous development of display technology, the applications of display panels and display devices are more and more extensive, and the demands of consumers on display devices are also higher and higher. For example, one trend in current display devices is to have full screen, i.e., to have a screen fraction approaching 100%.
However, the conventional display device requires a display panel to provide an opening area for installing modules such as an infrared lens, a floodlight sensing element, a distance sensor, an ambient light sensor, a speaker, a microphone, a camera, and a dot matrix projector in the opening area. Therefore, the prior art has the problem that the screen of the display device occupies a small area.
Disclosure of Invention

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a cross section along a-a in fig. 1. The substrate 100 may provide buffering, protection, heat dissipation, or supporting functions for the display panel, and the substrate 100 may include: a flexible substrate or glass. The display function layer 200 may be any one or a combination of a plurality of films capable of displaying in the prior art, and the display function layer 200 may further have a touch function, a fingerprint recognition function, or a pressure detection function. The display functional layer 200 may be, for example, an Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display functional layer, a Liquid Crystal (LCD) display functional layer, or an Electrophoretic (EPD) display functional layer. Taking the OLED display function layer as an example, the OLED display function layer 200 includes a substrate, a TFT array layer, an OLED device layer, a polarizer layer, a touch layer, and a cover plate. The TFT array layer includes a Thin Film Transistor (TFT) including a gate electrode electrically connected to the scan line, an active layer, a source electrode electrically connected to the data line, and a scan line.
The speaker layer 300 is a film layer capable of emitting sound, and specifically, the speaker layer 300 includes at least two speaker modules 310 (six speaker modules 310 are exemplarily shown in fig. 1), and what can emit sound in the speaker layer 300 is the speaker module 310. The speaker layer 300 may be, for example, a piezoelectric speaker membrane or a graphene speaker membrane. The speaker layer 300 may be attached to the display functional layer 200 or the speaker layer 300 may be shared with a film layer in the display functional layer 200. At least two speaker modules 310 are sound generating units independent of each other in the speaker layer 300. The at least two speaker modules 310 may be driven by the speaker driver module to emit sound, and the speaker driver module sends speaker control signals to the at least two speaker modules 310 to control the at least two speaker modules 310 to emit sound alternately or simultaneously. In particular, the display panel may further include a speaker switching unit, which may be a transistor, for example. The display function layer 200 has a function of displaying an image, the light emitting side of the display function layer 200 is a side far away from the substrate 100, the display function layer 200 is disposed on a side of the speaker layer 300 far away from the substrate 100, which is equivalent to disposing the speaker layer 300 on a side of the display function layer 200 other than the light emitting side, so that the speaker layer 300 is disposed without affecting the display effect.
It should be noted that, the speaker module 310 may be disposed in the speaker layer 300 in various ways, the present invention is not limited thereto, and in practical applications, the speaker module 310 may be disposed according to specific needs. The following is a detailed description of several installation modes of the speaker module 310 provided in the embodiment of the present invention, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
With continued reference to fig. 1, based on the above embodiments, optionally, the display panel includes a top portion and a bottom portion disposed oppositely; the bottom is provided with a binding pad 600; at least two speaker modules 310 are disposed on the top of the display panel.

Referring to fig. 3, based on the above embodiments, optionally, the speaker layer 300 includes at least two speaker placement areas 320; at least two speaker placement areas 320 are symmetrically disposed about the axis of symmetry 101 of the display panel; each speaker setup area 320 sets at least one speaker module 310.
The symmetry axis 101 is a straight line that makes the display panel axisymmetric or rotationally symmetric. The number of symmetry axes 101 in the display panel may not be unique, for example, if the shape of the display panel is rectangular, the number of symmetry axes 101 is two; if the display panel is circular, the number of the symmetry axes 101 is innumerable; if the display panel is shaped as an equilateral triangle, the number of symmetry axes 101 is three. If the number of the symmetry axes 101 is not unique, one of them may be selected as a setting reference of at least two speaker setting regions 320. The speaker setting area 320 is an area where the speaker modules 310 on the display panel are set as desired. Illustratively, five speaker placement areas 320 are included in fig. 3, respectively placed at the lower left, upper left, top, upper right, and lower right of the display panel; each speaker placement area 320 includes four speaker modules 310. This arrangement can enable the speaker arrangement area 320 to be distributed over different areas of the display panel. Fig. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of another display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 4, on the basis of the above embodiments, optionally, at least two speaker modules 310 are arranged in an array.
The speaker modules 310 arranged in an array are distributed on the display panel, for example, the speaker modules 310 are uniformly distributed on the display panel, which is similar to the arrangement of the pixel array on the display panel. Fig. 7 is a schematic structural diagram of another display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 7, on the basis of the above embodiments, optionally, the display function layer 200 includes a plurality of sub-function layers, and the speaker layer 300 is disposed between any two adjacent sub-function layers.
The sub-functional layers of the display functional layer 200 may be, for example, a TFT array layer, a light emitting device layer, a polarizer layer, a touch layer, a fingerprint recognition layer, and a cover plate. Fig. 7 exemplarily shows that the display function layer 200 includes a TFT array layer + light emitting device layer 220, a polarizer layer 230, a touch layer 240, and a cover plate 250, which are sequentially stacked. An OCA (optical Clear Adhesive) may be further disposed between the polarizer layer 230 and the touch layer 240, and an OCA may be further disposed between the touch layer 240 and the cover plate 250. The speaker layer 300 may be disposed between any two adjacent sub-functional layers, and the speaker layer 300 is disposed between the polarizer layer 230 and the touch layer 240. The loudspeaker layer 300 is arranged in such a way, the number of film layers on the loudspeaker layer 300 is reduced, sound emitted by the loudspeaker layer 300 is favorably transmitted to the air, and the distortion of the sound is reduced.
Optionally, the speaker layer 300 is disposed on the light exit side of the display function layer 200, and the speaker layer 300 is a transparent film, so as to reduce the influence of the speaker layer 300 on the display effect.
With continuing reference to fig. 7, based on the above embodiments, optionally, the display panel further includes: foam 400 and copper foil 500. Wherein, the foam 400 can play the roles of buffering and protection, and protect the display panel from being broken. The copper foil 500 can play a role in heat dissipation, and is beneficial to preventing the display panel from overheating and aging. Optionally, a speaker layer 300 is disposed between the substrate 100 and the foam 400. Because the foam has certain elasticity, it is beneficial to provide a certain vibration space for the speaker module 310 in the speaker layer 300, and the foam can protect the speaker module 310.
Fig. 8 is a schematic structural diagram of another display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 8, on the basis of the above embodiments, optionally, the display functional layer 200 includes a plurality of sub-functional layers; at least one sub-functional layer is multiplexed into the speaker layer 300; the sub-functional layer multiplexed as the speaker layer 300 includes at least two speaker grooves 260, and the speaker module 310 is disposed in the speaker grooves 260.
The sub-functional layers of the display functional layer 200 may be, for example, a TFT array layer, a light emitting device layer, a polarizer layer, a touch layer, a fingerprint recognition layer, and a cover plate. Fig. 8 exemplarily shows that the display function layer 200 includes a TFT array layer + light emitting device layer 220, a polarizer layer 230, a touch layer 240, and a cover plate 250, which are sequentially stacked. The above at least one sub-functional layer may be reused as the speaker layer 300, for example, in one embodiment, speaker grooves 260 are disposed on an organic layer or an inorganic layer in the TFT array layer, three speaker layer modules 310 are disposed in the three speaker grooves 260, respectively, in another embodiment, speaker grooves 260 are disposed on an organic layer or an inorganic layer in a thin film encapsulation layer for encapsulating light emitting devices in the light emitting device layer, and three speaker layer modules 310 are disposed in the three speaker grooves 260, respectively, so that the speaker module 310 in the speaker layer 300 is reused as the film layer in the TFT array layer + the light emitting device layer 220, which is beneficial to the compactness and the lightness of the display panel.
Fig. 9 is a schematic structural diagram of a speaker module according to an embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 10 is a schematic structural diagram of a speaker module according to an embodiment of the present invention, where a diaphragm is not covered. Referring to fig. 9 and 10, on the basis of the above embodiments, optionally, the speaker module 310 includes: a frame 311, an arm 312, a diaphragm 313 and a plurality of beams 314; the frame 311 and the boom 312 are fixedly connected by a plurality of beams 314 (four beams 314 are exemplarily shown in fig. 10); the edge of the diaphragm 313 is fixedly connected to the frame 311, and the diaphragm 313 covers the arm 312 and the beam 314.
The boom 312 and the beam 314 may be made of piezoelectric material, for example, and the speaker membrane including the speaker module 310 is a piezoelectric speaker membrane. When the speaker module 310 is powered on, the boom 312 reciprocates, causing a shock that causes the speaker module 310 to sound. Illustratively, a flexible circuit board (FPC) is attached to the display panel 10 and bent at the rear surface of the display panel 10, and a speaker driving IC is disposed on the FPC.

According to the embodiment of the invention, the display function layer and the loudspeaker layer are arranged on the substrate of the display panel, and the loudspeaker layer comprises at least two loudspeaker modules, so that the loudspeaker layer is used as one film layer in the display panel, and the effect that a loudspeaker is not required to be arranged outside the display panel. Compared with the prior art, the embodiment of the invention does not need to arrange the opening area reserved for the loudspeaker on the display panel of the display device, thereby avoiding the loudspeaker from occupying the screen space. The embodiment of the invention realizes the effect of arranging the loudspeaker on the display panel, thereby increasing the screen occupation ratio of the display device and being beneficial to realizing the full screen of the display device. In addition, the embodiment of the invention can realize various sound effect effects such as volume adjustment, tone adjustment, stereo, sounding position movement and the like by respectively controlling different loudspeaker modules, thereby realizing diversified sound display.
Fig. 13 is a flowchart of another driving method of a display device according to an embodiment of the invention. The display device also comprises a display driving module; the number of the loudspeaker modules is multiple, and the loudspeaker modules are arranged in an array. Referring to fig. 13, the driving method of the speaker module includes:
s210, the display driving module sends a display control signal to the display panel to control the display panel to display an image, wherein the display image comprises at least one sounding object;
s220, the loudspeaker driving module sends a loudspeaker control signal to the loudspeaker module to control the loudspeaker module corresponding to the position of the sound-producing object on the display panel to produce sound.
The sound producing object may be, for example, a person or animal speaking, a running machine, or a vehicle.
According to the embodiment of the invention, the display function layer and the loudspeaker layer are arranged on the substrate of the display panel, and the loudspeaker layer comprises at least two loudspeaker modules, so that the loudspeaker layer is used as one film layer in the display panel, and the effect that a loudspeaker is not required to be arranged outside the display panel. Compared with the prior art, the embodiment of the invention does not need to arrange the opening area reserved for the loudspeaker on the display panel of the display device, thereby avoiding the loudspeaker from occupying the screen space. In addition, the embodiment of the invention controls the loudspeaker module corresponding to the sound-producing object to produce sound, so that the accurate matching of images and sound can be realized, and the video watching experience of a user is improved.

Claims (9)
1. A display panel, comprising:
a substrate;
a display function layer and a speaker layer disposed on the substrate;
the speaker layer includes at least two speaker modules configured to emit sound from the speaker modules corresponding to sound objects in a display image of the display panel;
the speaker module includes: the device comprises a frame, an extension arm, a vibrating diaphragm and a plurality of cross beams;
the frame and the extending arms are fixedly connected through the plurality of cross beams; the edge of the vibrating diaphragm is fixedly connected with the frame, and the vibrating diaphragm covers the extending arm and the cross beam.
2. The display panel according to claim 1, wherein the speaker layer includes at least two speaker placement areas; the at least two speaker placement areas are symmetrically disposed about an axis of symmetry of the display panel;
at least one loudspeaker module is arranged in each loudspeaker arrangement area.
3. The display panel of claim 1, wherein the at least two speaker modules are arranged in an array.
4. The display panel of claim 1, wherein the display panel comprises oppositely disposed top and bottom portions; the bottom is provided with a binding pad;
the at least two speaker modules are arranged at the top of the display panel.
5. The display panel according to claim 1, wherein the display function layer is disposed on a side of the speaker layer away from the substrate.
6. The display panel of claim 1, wherein the display functional layer comprises a plurality of sub-functional layers, wherein:
the loudspeaker layer is arranged between any two adjacent sub-functional layers; or
Multiplexing at least one of the sub-functional layers in the display functional layer as the speaker layer; the sub-functional layer multiplexed as the speaker layer includes at least two speaker grooves, and the speaker module is disposed in the speaker grooves.
7. A display device is characterized by comprising a display panel and a loudspeaker driving module;
the display panel includes:
a substrate;
a display function layer and a speaker layer disposed on the substrate;
the speaker layer includes at least two speaker modules configured to emit sound from the speaker modules corresponding to sound objects in a display image of the display panel;
the loudspeaker driving module is electrically connected with the loudspeaker module and is used for driving the loudspeaker module to sound; the speaker module includes: the device comprises a frame, an extension arm, a vibrating diaphragm and a plurality of cross beams;
the frame and the extending arms are fixedly connected through the plurality of cross beams; the edge of the vibrating diaphragm is fixedly connected with the frame, and the vibrating diaphragm covers the extending arm and the cross beam.
8. A driving method of a display device according to claim 7, comprising:
and the loudspeaker driving module sends a loudspeaker control signal to the loudspeaker modules to control the at least two loudspeaker modules to sound alternately or simultaneously.
9. A driving method of a display device according to claim 7,
the display device also comprises a display driving module; the number of the loudspeaker modules is multiple, and the loudspeaker modules are arranged in an array; the speaker module includes: the device comprises a frame, an extension arm, a vibrating diaphragm and a plurality of cross beams;
the frame and the extending arms are fixedly connected through the plurality of cross beams; the edge of the vibrating diaphragm is fixedly connected with the frame, and the vibrating diaphragm covers the extending arm and the cross beam;
the driving method of the speaker module includes:
the display driving module sends a display control signal to the display panel to control the display panel to display an image, wherein the display image comprises at least one sounding object;
the loudspeaker driving module sends a loudspeaker control signal to the loudspeaker module to control the loudspeaker module to sound, wherein the position of the sound production object on the display panel corresponds to the position of the sound production object on the display panel.
