Abstract
一种由一段卷起的金属板条构成的用于旋锻的
圆环,所述板条的两端连接在一起而不致不明显增加
连接区的厚度。板条(1)的两端处于其末端边缘(4a,
5a)大致互相接触,上述端部的每一端的厚度大约为
板条厚度的一半,端部的内面相对于圆环内表面向外
偏移,以便构成平板(8)所需的凹部(11),所述平板的
厚度大约为板条厚度的一半。在板条端部和平板上
设置一组互补的凸销(6,7)和孔(9,10),所述的凸销
与上述孔配合,其自由端铆接到与设置它们的部件相
对的部件上。
Description
本发明涉及一种用于旋锻用的圆环及其制造方法。
众所周知,在许多情况下,要用一种封闭的圆环将一个套入另一个地配合的两个管状件固紧在一起,所述圆环在置入外管状件上与内管状件重叠的区内的位置后,经受旋锻操作,以使将两个管状件适宜地夹紧在一起。
上述的旋锻用的圆环现在可通过各种方法制得。
作为一种例子,要提一下一种工艺,其要点是将一平面金属环进行压制,然后切出冲压后的有效的平面部分,这种方法除了工艺较为冗长之外,还导致在切割时损失大量的金属,从而大大提高旋锻用的圆环的成本。
还有一种制造旋锻圆环的方法,就是从一种金属薄板制成的管子切下适宜的宽度来制作圆环,所述薄板卷成管子,然后沿该管子的母线焊接起来成为管件。这种方法也不十分令人满意。因为,不仅要花很多时间来切割管子,而且还额外要求预先制造管子,因此也会提高制造旋锻圆环的成本。
在开发了上述两种方法之后,又出现了一种设计思想,即采用一种其宽度对应于圆环所需宽度的金属板条来制造旋锻圆环。切下一段板条,将它卷起,再将其两端连接在一起,而不致明显增加连接区的厚度,所以不会妨碍随后的旋锻操作。
为此,提出了一条措施,即在板条段卷起以后,将其两端对焊在一起。但是,这种操作通常不能在用来切割板条段和卷起板条段的机器上自动地进行,这就会引起制造过程的中断,并且还导致焊接区的某种脆性。更严重的是,需要进行焊接操作,使之不可能使用为随后的旋锻操作而适应地进行过处理的金属板条。但是,在圆环制成后,上述的处理还是必须进行的,所以,同样提高了圆环的成本。
在采用金属板条来制造圆环方面,最近的思想是将板条段的两端切出互补的形状,例如T字形,这种形状对于一个套入另一个的配合是合适的,上述形状可防止焊接时沿径向方向的相对运动,如前所述,通常是将T形的水平杆的两端部焊接在一起。但是,这种方法除了具有上面所述的需要进行焊接操作而造成的缺点之外,还发现在进行旋锻操作时,用上述方法制成的圆环上常常发生不能允许的变形。
于是,本发明申请人的想法是要制成旋锻用的圆环而无需采用任何焊接操作,从而避免了现有技术的圆环特别是上述的第一种方法制成的圆环所具有的缺点。为此,本发明申请人提出制造上述圆环的方法仅仅要求进行适合于自动进行的压制和/或冲压操作、切割操作、和/或折叠操作。而且,不进行任何焊接操作,就使之有可能采用那些为随后的旋锻操作而进行过适当处理的金属板条,从而有效地减少制造圆环所需的时间,并因此降低了圆环的成本。
因此,本发明的第一个目的就是提供一种用一段卷起的金属板条制成的旋锻圆环。
按照本发明,卷起的板条段之两端处于沿它们的末端边缘大致互相接触的状态。每个端部的厚度大约为板条厚度之一半,它们的内面(或外面)相对于圆环的内表面(或外表面)向外(或向内)偏移,因此,形成一个适合于接纳一平板的凹部,所述平板的厚度大约为板条厚度之一半。在板条的端部和平板上,分别设有一组互补的凸销和孔,所述的凸销与所述的孔配合,其自由端铆接到与设置它们的部件相对的部件(平板或板条端部)。
本发明还提供一种制造如上所限定的旋锻圆环的方法,在该方法中,通过在一根长的金属板条上压制和/或冲压而同时形成两个圆环的两个端部,在每一个端部一起做出至少一个凸销(或至少一个孔),然后将上述端部的轴向最末端边缘切开。
由于采用了上述措施,可以满足在板条段端部间的连接区不致有过于明显的额外厚度这一通常的要求,从而避免了或限制了金属的损耗,并且,特别是由于有了上述平板,可使上述连接区有足够的强度来避免圆环在旋锻操作中发生不允许变形的危险。在这一方面,可以看到,上述板条很容易用一种不同于板条所用材料而制成,例如,用一种机械强度大于板条的材料来制成。而且,可以看到,由于采用本发明,使得制造一个旋锻圆环的直接成本(材料成本加上劳动工时成本)降低为现有技术成本的三分之一,甚至五分之一,而其他方面的成本则大体相当。
通过下面对具体实施例的叙述,人们会更加了解本发明,并对它的优点和其他特征更加清楚。为此,请参看附图,附图中:

首先参看图1和2,可以看出,金属板条1有两个端头,分别以总的标号2和3表示。下面参看图4来提一下,当一段板条1卷起时,端部2和3的底面2a和3a(图1和2)就彼此相对应,以便形成圆环的外表面,它们的末端大致互相接触。下面用的术语“外面”就表示端部2和3的底面2a和3a(图2),而术语“内面”则用来表示其相对的面。
读者已经会明白,并且从下面说明会更加清楚,每一端的“内面”可以同样地由底面2a或3a构成,在此情况下,“外面”仍然是与它相对的面。尽管如此,为了简化下面的叙述,下面仅说明图中所示的实施例,也就是只说明板条卷起制成图4和5形成的旋锻圆环的实施例。
回到图1和2,可以看到,端部2和3具有大致相等的轴向长度l,其厚度(从图2看得更清楚)小于板条1之厚度的一半。
端部2和3的外面与要制成的圆环之外面1a是连续的,它们的内面用标号4和5表示。
从端部2的内面4突起4个圆柱形或棱柱形的凸销6,这些凸销的轴线垂直于内表面,其高度不小于板条1的厚度的一半。同样地,从端部3的内面5突出4个类似于凸销6的凸销7,该凸销7最好与凸销6相同,并以同样的方式设置。尽管如此,还必须注意到,本发明并不规定每一端的凸销数目。
端部2和3的轴向末端边缘4a和5a(更精确地说是它们的内面4和5的轴向末端4a和5a)与板条1的轴线垂直。不过,如图1和2所示,内面4和5的内末端边缘4b和5b其轮廓上最好不是直线性的,最好有一轴向突出,其理由下面再谈。
上面已经提到,用一段板条1,其两端部2和3具有如上所述的结构,通过将该段板条1卷起就可得到一个旋锻圆环(图4),然后,使两端部2和3的末端边缘4a和5a大体上互相接触,并通过一块平板8(如图3所示)沿着圆环的圆周方向将两个端部连接在一起。
上述平板8基本上是矩形的,其宽度与板条1相同,其厚度约为板条厚度之一半。该平板8本身的长度大致为2l,即等于各端部2和3的轴向长度的两倍。其末端边缘8a的外形不是直线性的,而是与板条两端之内面4和5的内部末端边缘互补的。最后,在平板8上做出两组4个孔9和10,这些孔的直径和相对排列位置与端部2和3上的两组凸销6和7的直径和相对排列位置相对应。
板条1卷起后,如图4所示,端部2和3便构成一个可接纳平板8的凹部11,此时,凸销6和7可穿入孔9和10。凸销的自由端对着沿圆环内表面延伸的平板8的表面铆接(图5),通过平板末端边缘8a与凹部11之末端边缘4b和5b的互补轮廓之间的配合并用平板8固定在一起,这就保证了圆环的完美的连续性和良好的强度。
这里要提一下,平板8用与板条1相同的材料制成是有利的,但要经过适宜的处理,例如加工硬化,以便使其机械强度(或它的硬度)最好达到制造板条的材料的两倍。在任何情况下,不管平板材料和具与板条材料相比的相对强度如何,都可容易地限定凹部11的深度和平板8的相应厚度,以得到板条1的两端部2和3之间的连结具有要求的机械特点。
经过压制和/或冲压操作以及铆接操作(这些操作对于选作制造板条1的金属的与旋锻操作中的应用有关的性能没有什么影响)后,旋锻圆环就制成了并可投入使用,而板条两端之间连接区的弯曲强度和压缩强度不低于板条其他部位的弯曲强度和压缩强度。
下面参看图7和8来说明能快速而廉价地制造上述类型的旋锻圆环的方法的主要特征。这些特征尚未被熟悉本专业的人们遇到过。
首先,对一种为以后的应用而进行过适当处理的合适金属的板条21进行压制和/或冲压操作,以便同时形成一组由一个环的端部22与另一个环的端部23构成并以标号A表示的部分,当然,上述每一端部具有如上所述的结构,特别是,其厚度不大于板条厚度的一半。
在上述操作过程中,制造板条的金属从端部22和23侧向移出,如图7所示。所以制造圆环的方法之下一步骤是去除从端部22和23的边缘移出的金属(图7中虚线所示的那些部分),方法可以用例如切割去除法,以保证端部22和23的宽度与板条21相同。
当制成至少两个接连着的组例如A和A1,从而在它们之间形成相应于旋锻圆环所需圆周的适宜长度板条段B,B1……之后,最好在卷起处于A和A1两部分之间的板条段B,B1之前,同时切断板条段B的最末端边缘,就是说,每次切割大致在A和A1部分的中央进行。
板条段B完全卷起之后,其端部22和23通过预先制备的平板(其形状参见图3)来装备在一起(参见图4和5)。
不过,最好在开始时先把平板通过铆接相应的凸销而固定在板条的一个端部,然后再卷起板条,以便通过铆接相应的凸销将平板固定在板条之另一端部而端接成圆环。
虽然上面在一个前提下叙述了旋锻圆环及其制造方法,(所述的前提是在板条段1和端部2和3上设置了凸销,而在平板8上有孔9和10),但是,很显然,在不超出本发明范围的情况下,其结构可以颠倒过来。也可以设想,在平板8上设置一组凸销和一组孔,而在板条段1和端部2和3上设置相对应的一组孔和一组凸销。
Claims (6)
1、一种用一段卷起的金属板条构成的用于旋锻的圆环,所述板条之两端连接在一起而不致明显增加连接区的厚度,上述圆环的特征在于,板条段(1)的两端(2,3)通过其末端边缘(4a,5a)处于大致互相接触,上述每个端部的厚度大约为板条厚度的一半,它们的内面(或外面)(4,5)相对于圆环的内面(或外面)向外(或向内)偏移,以便形成厚度约为板条厚度一半的平板(8)所需的凹部(11),同时,在板条端部(2,3)和平板(8)上设置一组相对应的凸销(6,7)和孔(9,10),所述的凸销与所述的孔配合,其自由端铆接到与设置它们的部件相对的部件(平板或板条端部)上。
2、根据权利要求1的旋锻用的圆环,其特征在于,在所述的板条每一端部(2,3)设置了一组至少两个凸销(6,7)(或孔),而在平板上则对应地设一组至少4个孔(9,10)(或凸销)。
3、根据权利要求1的旋锻用的圆环,其特征在于,平板(8)用一种机械强度高于板条(1)的材料制成。
4、根据上述各项的任一项权利要求的旋锻用的圆环,其特征在于,上述平板的至少一个末端边缘的形状不是直线性的,上述凹部(11)的相应端部(4b,5b)的形状与之互补。
5、一种制造根据权利要求1-4中任一项的旋锻圆环的方法,该方法的特征在于,通过压制和/或冲压在一长的金属板条上同时做出两个圆环的两个相对的端部,使该端部之厚度大约为板条厚度之一半,并使每个端部至少有一个孔(或至少一个凸销),然后,沿上述端部的轴向方向同时切开最末端边缘。
6、根据权利要求5的方法,其特征在于,通过例如切割的方法将从两个圆环的端部侧边移出的金属去除掉,以便使上述端部的宽度大致等于板条的宽度。
