Abstract

The invention relates to a hemming strip structure of a knitted fabric, which comprises the knitted fabric, wherein the edge of the knitted fabric is provided with a cylinder jacquard weave formed by at least one front needle bed and a rear needle bed which are in wale and are opposite to a stitch yarn. The structure is characterized in that the side edges of the knitting piece are tightly wrapped by using the cylinder jacquard weave, so that the edge wrapping effect of improving the side edge strength of the knitting piece is achieved. The invention provides a hemming strip structure capable of directly realizing a knitting piece on a computerized flat knitting machine with two needle beds and a knitting method thereof, which can knit an edge-width-adjustable imitation hemming effect according to design requirements in an edge area of a flat knitting type knitting piece, breaks through the limitations of the traditional knitting method and opens up a new path for realizing edge optimization treatment of knitting products.

Technical Field
