Description

Display and terminal structure of display
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of displays, in particular to a display and a terminal structure of the display, which reduce the bonding yield of terminals of the display.
Background
With the continuous progress and development of display technology, Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) are regarded as high-end display technologies by various companies. However, due to the particularity of the OLED process, the production yield is low, and the yield is increased, which is a serious problem for the mass production of various companies. The Bonding process is to realize the electrical connection between the display panel and the flexible Circuit board (FPC) through Anisotropic Conductive Film (ACF), as shown in fig. 1, the design of the Circuit in the terminal area 15 of the display panel 16 may directly affect the yield of Bonding; the higher the resolution of the product, the denser the terminal lines 10 and 20 are, the smaller the pitch between the terminals for a high resolution product, and the higher the accuracy requirement for bonding, the short circuit is likely to occur during bonding, which causes poor bonding.
As shown in fig. 2, in the conventional terminal structure for bonding, the width of each of the terminals 10 and 20 is n, the distance between the center of each terminal is a, and the distance between each terminal edge and the adjacent terminal edge is b. When the resolution of the product is higher, the number of the terminals is larger, the b value is smaller, the requirement on the bonding precision is higher, and if the precision control is not good, the terminals 10 and 20 are easy to short circuit, so that the product yield is reduced. The terminal is offset by a distance m when bonded. In order to prevent short-circuiting between adjacent terminals when bonding, the offset distance m must be smaller than the distance b between the terminal edge and the adjacent terminal edge. When m is greater than b, short circuit between the adjacent terminals 10 and 20 is caused, so that the product yield is reduced.
Therefore, it is desirable to produce a display and a terminal structure of the display, which can improve the bonding yield.
