The clamping mechanism comprises a first telescopic rod and a second telescopic rod, and the first telescopic rod and the second telescopic rod are telescopic, so that the clamping mechanism can be suitable for fixing the heads of experimental livestock with different shapes and sizes. In the application process of the invention, firstly, a chassis 12 is fixed on a test bed in an absorption manner through a plurality of suckers 11 arranged on the chassis 12, the head of the livestock is placed in the middle of a bedplate 5, the length of a first telescopic rod 1 in all clamping mechanisms is adjusted to enable four fixing claws 3 to be positioned at the middle positions in the height direction of the head of the livestock, then, the four fixing claws 3 are enabled to extend towards the head bone direction of the livestock and to be tightly contacted by rotating a second nut 202, and a wrench can be adopted to rotate the second nut 202 if necessary. Then the operation of taking the brain by dissection can be carried out. When the dissecting brain-taking operation is interfered by the clamping mechanism, the clamping mechanism can be loosened, the rotary drum 16 is rotated to drive the bedplate 5 and the head of the livestock to rotate to the interference position for eliminating, and finally, the rotary position of the head of the livestock is fixed after the pin shaft 7 passes through the first pin hole 9 and the corresponding second pin hole 10, so that the dissecting brain-taking operation in the next step can be carried out.
