Abstract
The invention relates to a display panel, a manufacturing method thereof and a display device. The display panel comprises laminated films and an optical adhesive layer positioned between the adjacent films, wherein the optical adhesive layer comprises optical adhesive and a blocking body used for blocking at least part of the optical adhesive, and the blocking body is embedded into the optical adhesive. According to the display panel adopting the technical scheme, the blocking body is embedded in the optical adhesive, so that when the display panel is bent, the blocking body blocks the flow of the optical adhesive at the adjacent position, the stacking thickness of the optical adhesive is reduced, the stacking degree of the optical adhesive can be reduced, the optical adhesive is prevented from forming wrinkles when the display panel is bent, poor display is avoided, and the display panel is beneficial to application. In addition, the stress of the display panel during bending can be effectively released, and the bending radius can be increased.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of display technologies, and in particular, to a display panel, a method for manufacturing the same, and a display device.
Background
With the development of display technology, consumers increasingly demand high quality display panels. However, the conventional display panel is prone to display defects during the bending process, which is not suitable for application.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, it is necessary to provide a display panel, a method of manufacturing the same, and a display device, which can avoid display defects, in order to solve the problem of how to avoid display defects.
A display panel comprises laminated films and an optical adhesive layer arranged between the adjacent films, wherein the optical adhesive layer comprises optical adhesive and a barrier body used for separating at least part of the optical adhesive, and the barrier body is embedded in the optical adhesive.

forming a barrier for separating at least part of the optical adhesive on a membrane of the display panel to obtain the membrane with the barrier; and
forming optical cement on the diaphragm with the barrier, and then attaching another diaphragm to obtain a display panel; the optical cement is abutted to the diaphragms on the two sides.

Detailed Description
In order to make the aforementioned objects, features and advantages of the present invention comprehensible, embodiments accompanied with figures are described in detail below. In the following description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the present invention. This invention may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein.
It will be understood that when an element is referred to as being "secured to" another element, it can be directly on the other element or intervening elements may also be present. When an element is referred to as being "connected" to another element, it can be directly connected to the other element or intervening elements may also be present. The traditional display panel is easy to cause the problem of poor display in the bending process. The inventor of the invention finds in practice that the bonding of each layer in the AMOLED product module process is completed by OCA (optical cement), the thickness of the OCA is generally 10-90 μm, even hundreds of micrometers, and the thickness is too thick compared with the thickness of the whole soft screen; when the display panel is bent, the deformation cannot be released, so that the stress is unbalanced, the stress is released in a fold form in the thickness direction, and particularly, a fold is formed between a Touch Panel (TP) and a polarization Plane (POL), so that the bending radius of the flexible screen is influenced, and cracks of other film layers can be caused.
Therefore, the present invention provides a display panel, a method of manufacturing the same, and a display device capable of avoiding display defects.
The display panel of the invention may be an OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) or an AMOLED (Active-matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) display screen. Further, the display screen may be a flexible display screen.
Referring to fig. 1, a display panel 100 according to an embodiment includes a display layer group 110, and two or more films 120 are covered on the display layer group 110. The optical adhesive layer 130 is bonded to the diaphragms 120 between two adjacent diaphragms 120. The display layer group 110 may include a substrate 111, a plurality of light emitting pixels 112 disposed on the substrate 111, and an encapsulation layer 113 for encapsulating the light emitting pixels 112. The film 120 may be a polarizer 121 and a cover plate 122.
The position of the optical adhesive layer of the present invention is not limited, and any optical adhesive layer in any position in the display panel is within the scope of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, a display panel 100 according to an embodiment of the invention includes stacked film sheets 120, and an optical adhesive layer 130 between adjacent film sheets 120, where the optical adhesive layer 130 includes an optical adhesive 131 and a barrier 132 for blocking at least a portion of the optical adhesive 131, and the barrier 132 is embedded in the optical adhesive 131.
The optical adhesive may be acrylic resin, modified polymethacrylic resin, epoxy polyester or other adhesives. The thickness of the optical cement is preferably 30 μm to 150 μm.
The barrier of the invention is used for separating at least part of optical cement. Specifically, the blocking body may be embedded in any position of the optical cement as long as part of the optical cement can be separated. For example, the barrier may be embedded in the surface layer of the optical adhesive or embedded in the optical adhesive. Preferably, the thickness of the optical cement is greater than or equal to that of the barrier body, so that the surface of the optical cement is smooth, and the adhesion of the diaphragms on two sides is prevented from being influenced.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, referring to fig. 2, the number of the barriers 132 is at least two, and at least two barriers 132 are independent from each other. That is, at least two of the barriers 132 are non-continuous. Therefore, compared to the case where the projected areas of the at least two barriers 132 on the surface of the optical adhesive layer 130 are the same and the at least two barriers 132 are continuous, in the present embodiment, the contact area between the plurality of barriers 132 and the optical adhesive 131 is larger, so that the flow of the optical adhesive 131 is blocked more when the display screen is bent, and the accumulation degree can be reduced to a greater extent.
Preferably, the projected area of the barrier 132 on the surface of the optical adhesive layer 130 is 0.01mm2～4mm2. Of course, the projection area of the barrier 132 on the surface of the optical adhesive layer 130 is not limited thereto.
Referring to fig. 3, a display panel according to another embodiment of the invention includes an optical adhesive layer 230. The optical adhesive layer 230 includes an optical adhesive 231 and a barrier 232 for blocking at least a portion of the optical adhesive 231. In this embodiment, the projection of the optical paste 231 on the side surface of the display panel covers the projection of the barrier 232 on the side surface of the display panel, and the barrier 232 extends from the surface of the optical paste 231 through the optical paste 231.
Wherein, the side of the display panel refers to a surface perpendicular to an extending direction of the display panel.
In this embodiment, the blocking body 232 can completely block the optical cement 231, and when the display panel is bent, the blocking body 232 completely blocks the flow of the optical cement 231 at the adjacent position, so that the accumulation degree of the optical cement 231 is effectively reduced, the optical cement is prevented from forming wrinkles when the display panel is bent, and poor display is effectively prevented.
Of course, in other embodiments, the barrier may not penetrate the optical adhesive. At this time, the thickness of the barrier is smaller than that of the optical cement, and the optical cement covers the barrier.
Referring to fig. 4, a display panel according to another embodiment of the invention includes a central region 310 and edge regions 320 located at two sides of the central region 310, wherein the density of the barriers 330 located in the central region 310 is greater than the density of the barriers 330 located in the edge regions 320.
When the display screen is bent by an external force, the central region 310 of the display screen is bent with a larger radius of curvature, and the radius of curvature of the bending decreases gradually from the central region 310 to the edge region 320. The inventor finds that the separation of the membrane caused by the extrusion and accumulation of the optical cement can be avoided by arranging the barrier 330 with higher density in the central area 310 of the display screen. In the edge area 320 of the display screen, a less dense barrier 330 may be provided to increase the bonding between two adjacent films. In the transition area 340 between the central area 310 and the edge area 320, since the radius of curvature of the display screen is gradually reduced when the display screen is bent, the barrier 330 having a lower density may be provided based on this case.
Referring to fig. 5, a display panel 400 according to another embodiment of the invention includes a display layer group 410. The display layer group 410 may include a substrate 411, a plurality of light emitting pixels 412 disposed on the substrate 411, and an encapsulation layer 413 for encapsulating the light emitting pixels 412. The display layer group 410 is covered with two or more membranes 420. The film 420 may be a polarizer 421 and a cover 422. An optical adhesive layer 430 is disposed between two adjacent diaphragms 420 and bonded to the diaphragms 420. The optical adhesive layer 430 includes an optical adhesive 431 and a barrier 432 for blocking at least a portion of the optical adhesive 431, and the barrier 432 is embedded in the optical adhesive 431.
The display layer group 410 has a light-emitting region, and an orthographic projection of the barrier 432 is deviated from the light-emitting region. Specifically, the light-emitting region of the display layer group 410 refers to a region where the light-emitting pixels 412 are provided in the display layer group 410. In order to avoid the influence of the blocking body 432 on the light emitted by the light-emitting pixel 412, the orthographic projection of the blocking body 432 is deviated from the light-emitting region. The orthographic projection here refers to the projection of the barrier 432 in the stacking direction of the display panel 400. The display panel 400 can prevent the thickness of the optical adhesive layer 430 from refracting the light, thereby ensuring the display effect of the display panel 400.
In addition to the above embodiments, the material of the barrier is a cured UV paste. On one hand, the cured UV adhesive has certain hardness and can block the flow of the optical adhesive; on the other hand, the light transmittance of the cured UV adhesive is better, and the light-emitting performance is not influenced.
The material of the barrier is not limited to this, and other materials having a certain hardness and light transmittance may be used. For example, transparent polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, or the like.
In addition, in the display panel of the invention, the projection of the barrier on the surface of the optical adhesive layer can be circular, strip-shaped or square. Of course, other shapes are possible. For example, the projection of the barrier on the surface of the optical cement layer may be in a shape of a mesh frame or a dendrite.

7. A method for manufacturing a display panel, comprising the steps of:
forming an optical adhesive layer on one film of the display panel, and then attaching another film to the optical adhesive layer to obtain the display panel; the optical adhesive layer comprises an optical adhesive and a barrier body used for separating at least part of the optical adhesive, and the barrier body is embedded in the optical adhesive;
the display panel comprises a central area and edge areas positioned on two sides of the central area, and the density of the barrier bodies positioned in the central area is greater than that of the barrier bodies positioned in the edge areas;
the barrier body with higher density is arranged in the central area of the display panel, so that the separation of the membranes caused by the extrusion and accumulation of the optical cement can be avoided; the barrier body with lower density is arranged in the edge area of the display panel, so that the bonding property between two adjacent membranes can be increased;
the cross-sectional area of the barrier body along the direction parallel to the surface of the diaphragm is unchanged from the diaphragm to the adjacent diaphragm.
8. The method for manufacturing a display panel according to claim 7, comprising the steps of:
forming a barrier for separating at least part of the optical adhesive on a membrane of the display panel to obtain the membrane with the barrier; and
forming optical cement on the diaphragm with the barrier, and then attaching another diaphragm to obtain a display panel; the optical cement is abutted to the diaphragms on the two sides.
9. The method for manufacturing a display panel according to claim 7, comprising the steps of:
providing an optical adhesive layer module, wherein the optical adhesive layer module comprises a heavy release film layer, a light release film layer and an optical adhesive layer positioned between the heavy release film layer and the light release film layer; the optical adhesive layer comprises an optical adhesive and a barrier body used for separating at least part of the optical adhesive, and the barrier body is embedded into the optical adhesive; and
and removing the heavy release film layer and the light release film layer, and attaching the optical adhesive layer between two adjacent films of the module structure to obtain the display panel.
10. The method for manufacturing a display panel according to claim 9, wherein the method for manufacturing the optical adhesive layer module comprises the following steps:
forming a barrier body for blocking at least part of the optical adhesive on the heavy release film layer to obtain the heavy release film layer with the barrier body; and
forming optical adhesive on the heavy release film layer with the barrier body, and then attaching the light release film layer to obtain an optical adhesive layer module; the optical cement is abutted with the heavy release film layer and the light release film layer on the two sides.
11. A display device comprising the display panel according to any one of claims 1 to 6.
