It is explicitly and implicitly understood by one skilled in the art that the embodiments described herein can be combined with other embodiments.
Referring to fig. 1-5, fig. 1 is a schematic partial perspective view of a housing assembly with a cover plate according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 2 is a schematic sectional view in the direction of a-a in fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a schematic sectional view in the direction B-B in fig. 1. Fig. 4 is a schematic sectional view in the direction C-C in fig. 1. Fig. 5 is a schematic top view of a housing assembly according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
In the present embodiment, the housing assembly includes a housing 10 and a cover bezel 11.
The housing 10 is provided with a step for supporting the cover plate decorating ring 11, the cover plate 12 and the touch display module 13. The touch display module 13 and the cover plate 12 are stacked. The cover plate 12 is used for protecting the touch display module 13. The touch display module 13 specifically includes a display module and a touch module, which are not specifically shown in the figure.
The cover bezel 11 is disposed at a gap between the cover 12 and the case 10. In particular at the gap between the side wall of the step and the side wall of the cover plate 12. The cover bezel 11 is used to mount the cover 12, and the cover 12 is mounted on the housing 10 through the cover bezel 11.
The cover 12 may be a glass cover or a clear plastic cover or the like.
The apron bezel 11 includes at least a first section 111, a second section 112, a third section 113, a fourth section 114, and a fifth section 115.
The first segment 111, the second segment 112, the fourth segment 114, and the fifth segment 115 are all non-corner segments. The third segment 113 is a corner segment. The thickness of the corner part is larger than that of the non-corner part so as to strengthen and protect the cover plate at the corresponding position of the corner part.
The first segment 111 is arranged along the first direction X. The second segment 112 is disposed along the second direction Y.
The third section 113 is used to connect the first section 111 and the second section 112 in a smooth transition. The third segment 113 extends along a curve, for example, the third segment 113 is a circular arc or other smooth transition curve. For example, the third segment 113 corresponds to a chamfered region of the electronic device, such as an R-corner, a rounded corner, or the like.
For example, the apron bezel 11 is substantially rectangular and has a chamfer at a corner of the rectangle such that adjacent sides of the apron bezel 11 are transitioned by a curve. The first section 111 may be a short side of the bezel, the second section 112 may be a long side of the bezel, and the third section 113 may be a transition section of the chamfered location.
The dimension of the third section 113 in the thickness direction Z is larger than the dimension of the first section 111 in the thickness direction Z, and the dimension of the third section 113 in the thickness direction Z is larger than the dimension of the second section 112 in the thickness direction Z. In other words, the thickness dimension of the third segment 113 is greater than the thickness dimension of the first segment 111, and the thickness dimension of the third segment 113 is greater than the thickness dimension of the first segment 111.
The dimension of the third section 113 in the thickness direction Z is 0.1-0.2mm larger than the dimension of the first section 111 in the thickness direction Z, for example, the dimension of the third section 113 in the thickness direction Z is 0.1mm, 0.15mm or 0.2mm larger than the dimension of the first section 111 in the thickness direction Z. The dimension of the third section 113 in the thickness direction Z is 0.1 to 0.2mm larger than the dimension of the second section 112 in the thickness direction Z. For example, the dimension of the third section 113 in the thickness direction Z is 0.1mm, 0.15mm, or 0.2mm larger than the dimension of the second section 112 in the thickness direction Z.
For convenience of description, the thickness direction Z is divided into a forward direction and a reverse direction of the thickness direction Z, the forward direction refers to a display light emitting direction of the electronic device, and the reverse direction is a direction opposite to the display light emitting direction.
Optionally, a surface of the third segment 113 facing away from the display light-emitting direction is flush with a surface of the first segment 111 facing away from the display light-emitting direction. The surface of the third segment 113 facing away from the light exit direction is flush with the surface of the second segment 112 facing away from the light exit direction.
Since the dimension of the third section 113 in the thickness direction Z is larger than the dimension of the first section 111 in the thickness direction Z, the dimension of the third section 113 in the thickness direction Z is larger than the dimension of the second section 112 in the thickness direction Z. Since the lower surfaces of the first, second and third segments 111, 112 and 113 are flush with each other, the third segment 113 protrudes from the first and second segments 111 and 112.
Optionally, the third segment 113 further protrudes with respect to the light exit side surface of the cover plate 12. The light exit side surfaces of the first and second segments 111 and 112 are flush with the light exit side surface of the cover plate 12 or lower than the surface of the cover plate 12. In this way, the third segment 113 can protect the cover plate 12. When falling, the cover bezel 11 first contacts a collision body (e.g., the ground) to protect the cover 12. And the thickness of the third section 113 is larger, so that the third section 113 has stronger anti-falling performance, and particularly the problem that the corner is easy to break is relieved to a certain degree.
It should be understood that the figures only show the structure of the housing assembly at one corner of the electronic device, and similar designs can be made at the other three corners.
The first direction X and the second direction Y are arranged in a staggered mode. Optionally, the first direction X is perpendicular to the second direction Y. The thickness direction Z is perpendicular to the first direction X and perpendicular to the second direction Y.
Alternatively, the first direction X may be a width direction of the electronic device. The second direction Y may be a length direction of the electronic device. The thickness direction Z may be a thickness direction of the electronic device.
Optionally, the width of the third segment 113 in the first plane XY, which is the plane in which the first direction X and the second direction Y lie, is larger than the width of the second segment 112 in the first plane XY. In other words, the first plane XY is a plane parallel to the surface of the cover plate 12.
Optionally, the width of the third segment 113 in the first plane XY is larger than the width of the first segment 111 in the first plane XY.
For example, the width of the third segment 113 in the first plane XY is widened to 0.18mm or more.
The third section 113 has a larger width, so that the third section 113 has stronger anti-falling performance, and particularly, the problem that the corner is easy to break is relieved to a certain degree.
It should be understood that the figures only show the structure of the housing assembly at one corner of the electronic device, and similar designs can be made at the other three corners.
The fourth segment 114 is located between the third segment 113 and the first segment 111. The fourth segment 114 is used to connect the first segment 111 with the third segment 113.
The fifth segment 115 is located between the third segment 113 and the second segment 112. The fifth segment 115 is used to connect the second segment 112 with the third segment 113.
It should be understood that the first section 111, the second section 112, the third section 113, the fourth section 114, and the fifth section 115 are integrally provided, and are artificially divided into the above five sections for convenience of explanation.
Alternatively, the dimension of the fourth segment 114 in the thickness direction Z gradually increases toward the third segment 113.
Optionally, the dimension of the fifth segment 115 in the thickness direction Z gradually increases towards the third segment 113.
Optionally, the width of the fourth segment 114 in the first plane XY gradually increases towards the third segment 113.
Optionally, the width of the fifth segment 115 in the first plane XY gradually increases towards the third segment 113.
Through the manner, the fourth section 114 with gradually changed width and thickness is arranged between the first section 111 and the third section 113, so that the problem of poor hand feeling or poor appearance caused by the fact that the first section 111 and the third section 113 are directly connected to form a step can be avoided. The fifth section 115 with gradually changed width and thickness is arranged between the second section 112 and the third section 113, so that the problem of poor hand feeling or poor appearance caused by the step formed between the second section 112 and the third section 113 can be avoided. In addition, through the arrangement mode, the connection strength between the first section 111 and the third section 113 can be improved, and the connection strength between the second section 112 and the third section 113 is improved, so that the falling-preventing strength of the cover plate at the corner of the electronic device is improved, the stress is prevented from being excessively concentrated through a gradual change mode, and the falling-preventing performance is improved.
Referring to fig. 6, fig. 6 is a schematic structural diagram of a third section 113 of a cover plate bezel according to an embodiment of the present application. In this embodiment, the third segment 113 specifically includes a first layer 1131 and a second layer 1132 which are stacked in the thickness direction Z, and the thickness of the first layer 1131 is greater than that of the second layer 1132. The first layer 1131 has a hardness greater than the hardness of the second layer 1132. For example, the first layer 1131 is a hard plastic or metal, and the second layer 1132 is a soft rubber. The second layer 1132 is a layer near the light exit side.
By the above manner, when the third section contacts with an impact object (e.g., the ground), a certain buffering effect is achieved, and when a user uses the electronic device, the portion of the third section 113 protruding out of the surface of the cover plate 12 is made of soft material, so that the hand feeling is better.
The embodiment of the application also provides an electronic device comprising the shell assembly, the electronic device comprises the shell assembly, and a cover plate and a touch display module which are arranged on the shell assembly, and the cover plate is arranged in a stacking manner with the touch display module.
