Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples. It is to be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not limiting of the invention. It should be further noted that, for the convenience of description, only some of the structures related to the present invention are shown in the drawings, not all of the structures.
When displaying a moving image, different display devices have different effects, and on some display devices, moving objects or patterns may leave afterimages on a static background, so that the boundary becomes blurred, which is a trailing of the moving image. In general, the length of the afterimage is the most direct measure of the degree of smearing, and is proportional to the speed of movement of the object, with a scaling factor related to the nature of the display device and having a dimension of time, which is referred to as the smear time.
Example one
Fig. 1a is a flowchart of a method for determining a trailing time of a display device according to an embodiment of the present invention, where this embodiment is applicable to a situation of measuring the trailing time of the display device, and the method can be executed by the apparatus for determining the trailing time of the display device according to the embodiment of the present invention, and the apparatus can be implemented in a software and/or hardware manner. Referring to fig. 1a, the method may specifically include the steps of:
s110, setting a background color of a current display page and a foreground color of a first display area, wherein patterns formed by the foreground color of the first display area are switched between a display state and a disappearance state at a first set frequency.
Specifically, in the process of measuring the trailing time, the target pattern is dynamically displayed by using the display device, and specific display content and color of the target pattern are not specifically limited. Alternatively, the background color is set to any solid color P1, the foreground color is set to another solid color P2 different from the background color, and the trailing condition of the pattern composed of the solid color P2 moving under the solid color P1 is measured. In a specific example, to measure the tailing effect of a black pattern moving on a white background, the background color of the currently displayed page is set to be white, the foreground color of the first display area is set to be black, that is, the target pattern is a black pattern, P1 is white, and P2 is black. The black foreground color of the first display area forms a black pattern, and the black pattern switches between a display state and a disappearance state at a first set frequency.
For example, the first setting frequency may be 5/16Hz, that is, the display state and the disappearance state may be switched every 3200 ms. For example, in a 60Hz display screen, if the display frequency of the screen is defined as 200 frames of screen, the switching time is 200 × 16ms, the background color remains unchanged, and the foreground color switches between the display state and the disappearance state every 3200ms, that is, the black pattern switches between the display state and the disappearance state every 3200 ms. Specifically, the display time and the disappearance time may be defined as 3200 ms.
S120, acquiring a first brightness value of the first display area, and determining the trailing time according to the first brightness value, wherein the measurement frequency of the first brightness value is a second set frequency.
Specifically, the first brightness value of the first display area is obtained in real time in the process of switching the display state and the disappearance state of the pattern formed by the foreground color of the first display area at a first set frequency. In one specific example, the brightness of the first display area is captured and recorded in real time by the brightness tester at a second set frequency. Wherein the second set frequency is 200Hz, i.e. the brightness of the first display area is measured every 5 ms. Optionally, all place display device and luminance tester in under the standard darkroom environment, wherein, darkroom ambient requirement darkroom illuminance under the different external environment of darkroom internal environment is stable, and internal light source need be closed or keep apart, and wall and ground reflectance refer to the nissan darkroom standard: the wall surface reflection rate is 60 percent, and the ground reflection rate is 20 percent.
Optionally, a non-contact type luminance tester with high precision and high resolution, for example, a CCD (Charge-coupled Device) grayscale and chrominance analyzer, is placed at a certain distance from the display screen of the display Device, and the specific installation position is not specifically limited as long as the luminance of the first display region can be measured. Illustratively, the luminance tester may be placed 100cm in front of the center of the display screen of the display device. During the actual measurement, the luminance tester and the display device were fixed. And determining the tailing time according to the change of the first brightness value measured in the process of switching the display state and the disappearance state of the pattern formed by the foreground color of the first display area at a first set frequency.
Fig. 1b is a schematic diagram showing a display device and a luminance tester, wherein 130 represents the display device and 140 represents the luminance tester. Fig. 1c is a state diagram showing a dynamic display process of a black pattern, wherein 150 represents a current display page of the display device, 160 represents a background color of the current display page, 170 represents a foreground color of the first display region, and 180 represents a test mark of the luminance tester in the first display region, through which it can be determined whether the installation position of the luminance tester can accurately measure the luminance of the first display region.
In the embodiment of the invention, firstly, a background color of a current display page and a foreground color of a first display area are set, then a first brightness value of the first display area is obtained, and a trailing time is determined according to the first brightness value; the pattern formed by the foreground color of the first display area is switched between a display state and a disappearance state at a first set frequency, and the measurement frequency of the first brightness value is a second set frequency. And the tailing time is measured from the quantization angle, so that the consistency and the reproducibility are high, and the stability is good.
Example two
Fig. 2a is a flowchart of a method for determining a trailing time of a display device according to a second embodiment of the present invention, where this embodiment is implemented on the basis of the foregoing embodiment, and referring to fig. 2a, the method may specifically include the following steps:
s210, setting a background color of a current display page and a foreground color of a first display area, wherein patterns formed by the foreground color of the first display area are switched between a display state and a disappearance state at a first set frequency.
S220, acquiring a first brightness value of the first display area, and acquiring a second brightness value of the second display area.
Specifically, a first brightness value of a first display area is obtained, and a second brightness value of a second display area is obtained at the same time, where the second display area is an area other than the first display area in the current display page, and a color of the second display area is a background color. The measuring frequency of the first brightness value is a second set frequency, and the measuring frequency of the second brightness value is the second set frequency.
In a specific example, fig. 2b shows a state diagram of another black pattern in a dynamic display process, where 150 represents a current display page of the display device, 160 represents a background color of the current display page, 170 represents a foreground color of the first display region, 180 represents a test mark of the luminance tester in the first display region, and 240 represents a background color of the second display region.
And S230, if the difference value between the first brightness value and the second brightness value meets a set tailing condition, determining tailing time according to each measurement time of the first display area and each measurement time of the second display area.
Specifically, the first luminance value is denoted as Y1, the second luminance value is denoted as Y0, and Y0 may have a value of 350cd/m2The difference between the first luminance value and the second luminance value is denoted as Δ Y, which is Y1-Y0. In a specific example, the set smear condition may be that the difference is less than a set luminance threshold, e.g., 7cd/m2. When the difference value between the first brightness value and the second brightness value is smaller than the set brightness threshold, recording each measurement time of the first brightness value in the first display area and each measurement time of the second brightness value in the second display area, and determining the tail time according to the relationship between the measurement times, wherein the interval between adjacent measurement times is a measurement period corresponding to the second set frequency, and in a specific example, the measurement period may be 5 ms.
In the embodiment of the present invention, by acquiring a first luminance value of the first display area and a second luminance value of the second display area, when a difference between the first luminance value and the second luminance value satisfies a set tailing condition, a tailing time is determined according to each measurement time of the first display area and each measurement time of the second display area. The measurement of the second brightness value of the second display area is synchronously supplemented, namely the measurement of the brightness value of the background color is combined, and the tailing time is determined by combining the first brightness value of the first display area, so that the accuracy of measuring the tailing time is improved.
On the basis of the above technical solution, "if the difference between the first luminance value and the second luminance value satisfies the set tailing condition, determining the tailing time according to each measurement time of the first display area and each measurement time of the second display area" may specifically be implemented as follows:
the first brightness value and the second brightness value acquired at the same moment are subjected to difference, the difference value and the second brightness value are subjected to quotient, and the brightness change rate corresponding to the current moment is obtained; and if the pattern formed by the foreground color is switched from the display state to the disappearance state or from the disappearance state to the display state, counting the measurement times of which the brightness change rate is greater than a tailing threshold and less than 1, and determining tailing time according to the measurement times and the measurement period.
Specifically, a first brightness value and a second brightness value acquired at the same time are respectively recorded as Y1 and Y0, a difference between the first brightness value and the second brightness value is recorded as Δ Y, Δ Y is Y1-Y0, a brightness change rate at the current time is recorded as K, K is | Δ Y/Y0|, and a K value between 0 and 1 represents a dynamic response process in a display screen of the display device, which can be used to measure a tail time, and for example, a tail time greater than 0.02 and less than 1 can be perceived.
Optionally, the tailing threshold is 0.02, when the pattern formed by the foreground is switched from the display state to the disappearance state or from the disappearance state to the display state, counting the number of times of measurement of the first luminance value of the first display area when K is greater than 0.02< K <1 as a number of times of measurement C, and determining the tailing time according to C and the measurement period. When the brightness change rate K is close to 0, the color of the first display area is a background color, and when the brightness change rate K is close to 1, the color of the first display area is a foreground color.
In a specific example, fig. 2c shows a graph of luminance and a rate of change in luminance at the time of measurement of a tail time, in which the abscissa indicates the number of times of measurement of the first luminance value of the first display region, for example, 23 indicates the 23 rd measurement, the time between adjacent times of measurement is a measurement period, and the left ordinate indicates the first luminance value in the unit of 350cd/m in fig. 2c2The ordinate on the right side of fig. 2c represents the rate of change of brightness, dimensionless; a luminance change curve of the first display region is denoted by 250, a luminance change rate curve is denoted by 260, and a luminance collection point satisfying a tail condition is denoted by 270. In FIG. 2c shouldThe scene may be a change process in which the background color of the first display region is switched to the foreground color and then to the background color, that is, a process in which the pattern formed by the foreground color is switched from the disappearance state to the display state and then to the disappearance state. In fig. 2C, the measurement time C is 6, i.e. 39 th to 44 th, wherein the luminance change rate at the 44 th measurement is 0.0228, and the luminance change rate at the 45 th measurement is 0.0057, and the tail time is the product of the measurement time C and the measurement period, and in this specific example, the tail time is 5ms 6 to 30 ms. The tailing time is determined by combining the measurement times of the brightness change rate meeting the conditions and the corresponding measurement period, and the tailing time is measured by quantizing the angle, so that the tailing time is more accurate, more stable and high in reproducibility compared with subjective artificial judgment of the tailing time.
EXAMPLE III
Fig. 3 is a flowchart of a method for determining a tailing time of a display device according to a third embodiment of the present invention, where "acquiring a first brightness value of the first display area and determining a tailing time according to the first brightness value" is optimized based on the above embodiments. Referring to fig. 3, the method may specifically include the following steps:
s310, setting a background color of a current display page and a foreground color of a first display area, wherein patterns formed by the foreground color of the first display area are switched between a display state and a disappearance state at a first set frequency.
S321, if the pattern formed by the foreground color is switched from a display state to a disappearance state, recording the brightness values of the pattern at different measurement moments, and determining the trailing time according to the state switching moment and the moment when the first brightness threshold appears.
Specifically, when the pattern formed by the foreground is switched from the display state to the disappearance state, the brightness values of the pattern at different measurement moments are recorded, and the tailing time is determined by combining the state switching moment and the moment when the first brightness threshold value appears. The first brightness threshold is a critical brightness when the foreground color in the first display area is switched to the background color, and the measurement frequency of the first brightness value is a second set frequency. In a specific example, the critical brightness when the foreground color is switched to the background color is Q1, the state switching time is T1, the time when Q1 appears is T2, and T2-T1 are corresponding trailing times.
And S322, if the pattern formed by the foreground color is switched from a disappearance state to a display state, recording the brightness values of the pattern at different measurement moments, and determining the tailing time according to the state switching moment and the moment when the second brightness threshold value appears.
Specifically, when the pattern formed by the foreground is switched from the disappearance state to the display state, the brightness values of the pattern at different measurement times are recorded, and the tailing time is determined by combining the state switching time and the time when the second brightness threshold value appears. The second brightness threshold is the critical brightness when the background color in the first display area is switched to the foreground color. In a specific example, when the background color is switched to the foreground color, the critical brightness is Q2, the state switching time is T3, the time when Q2 appears is T4, and T4-T3 are corresponding trailing time.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the pattern formed by the foreground color is determined to be switched from the display state to the disappearance state or the pattern formed by the foreground color is determined to be switched from the disappearance state to the display state, the brightness values of the pattern at different measurement moments are recorded, and the tailing time is determined according to the state switching moment and the moment when the first brightness threshold value appears or the state switching moment and the moment when the second brightness threshold value appears. The first brightness threshold value and the second brightness threshold value can be set according to different requirements of a user, so that the tailing time is determined, the operation is simple, and the calculation is convenient
