The thin film encapsulation layer can be an inorganic layer, or more preferably an alternating combination of organic and inorganic layers. At least one pair of contact electrodes, including at least one cathode and one anode, extend outside the encapsulation area for external electrical actuation. A flexible printed circuit board (FPC) can be pre-printed with circuits for connecting a flexible OLED to an external driver or internally connecting multiple OLEDs. The FPC board can be electrically bonded to the OLED contact electrodes with conductive glue. For the assembly of flexible OLEDs on FPC, please refer to the application CN201810572632.3, which is incorporated by reference in its entirety. In some embodiments, external actuation can be achieved by soldering wires to the electrical contacts. Light-diffusing films can be added to the light-emitting side of flexible OLEDs. A support film can be added to the non-emitting side of the flexible OLED. A basic OLED device plus encapsulation layer and external driving scheme, together with optional light diffusion film, FPC board and support film, constitutes an OLED light-emitting panel. The fabrication of flexible OLEDs is well known to those skilled in the art and is not limited to the above description.

Note that the illustration of the elastic band 406 in FIG. 4 and the pair of connection structures 503 and 506 in FIG. 5 is for illustration purposes only, and any type of connection technique may be applied here. The flexible OLED light-emitting panel 402 can be driven by wires or FPC boards embedded in the housing fixture 401 . Additionally, the elastic band 406 may include wires for driving the OLED devices, wireless communication devices, sensors, controllers and/or batteries. In another approach, the above-mentioned electronic components can be integrated into the substrate as long as it does not interfere with light emission.
