While exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are shown in the drawings, it should be understood that the present disclosure may be embodied in various forms and should not be limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the disclosure to those skilled in the art.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a gas water heater according to an embodiment of the present invention; fig. 2 is a perspective view of a gas water heater according to an embodiment of the present invention, without showing a housing, fig. 3a is a perspective view of a heat exchanger and a spoiler of the gas water heater according to the embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 3b and 3c are perspective views of the heat exchanger and the spoiler of the gas water heater according to the embodiment of the present invention, without showing a heat exchange pipe.
Referring to fig. 1, 2 and 3, a gas water heater according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a heat exchanger 110, a burner 120, a fan 140, a spoiler 130, a smoke collecting hood 150, and a housing 160. Wherein a smoke outlet (not shown) is arranged above the heat exchanger 110. The heat exchanger 110 includes a case 111 and a heat exchange pipe 112, the heat exchange pipe 112 being disposed around the case 111. The heat exchanger 110 performs a heat exchange process on the water flow in the heat exchange pipe 112, so as to heat the water flow. The burner 120 is disposed below the heat exchanger 110, and the gas enters the burner 120 to be burned and heats the heat exchanger 110. The burner 120 is provided with a first cavity, and a fire grate 121 is arranged in the first cavity for realizing an ignition function in the burner 120. The upper part of the burner 120 is communicated with a smoke outlet (not shown in the figure), a fan 140 is arranged below the burner 120, and the fan 140 blows air to the burner 120 to promote the full combustion of the fuel gas. The fan 140 is provided with an air inlet (not shown) at one side thereof. The fume collecting hood 150 is disposed above the heat exchanger 110 to collect the fume generated from the burner 120. The housing 160 serves to accommodate the heat exchanger 110, the burner 120, the fan 140, the fume collecting hood 150, and the spoiler 130, and the housing 160 forms a hollow space.
Further, the gas water heater of the embodiment of the invention can be a forced air supply and exhaust type gas water heater, the gas water heater can be closed as a whole, a cavity (not shown) is formed inside the gas water heater, and the air inlet and the smoke outlet are realized through a double-layer smoke pipe system. The integral cavity and the smoke tube system form a closed air duct system, and the natural frequency of the air duct system is close to that of the smoke tube system; due to the combustion in the closed space, combustion oscillation is easily generated, and the combustion vibration can disturb the air in the closed cavity. If the frequency of the combustion oscillation is close to the natural frequency of the air duct system, a strong combustion oscillation phenomenon is easily induced, and the phenomenon is expressed as severe vibration of a front operation panel of the gas water heater. Even easily cause the fire that dies, bring danger such as gas leakage, left the potential safety hazard for the use of gas heater.
The mechanism of combustion oscillation generation is mainly that the air expands rapidly due to violent combustion of fuel gas, and the expanded air generates negative pressure on an air duct system, so that insufficient air inlet is caused, the oxygen content is reduced, and the combustion heat release is also reduced rapidly; the air is cooled and contracted to generate positive pressure on the air duct system, so that the air supply amount is increased, the oxygen content is increased, and the combustion is severe again at the moment, so that the air is expanded. If the natural frequency and the combustion oscillation frequency of the air duct system of the combustion water heater are very close, the combustion state of the system is caused to repeat the process cycle, and the combustion oscillation is induced.
Generally speaking, the combustion oscillations are directly related to the swirling motion of the heated air within the combustor 120. The thermal expansion of the air, pressure fluctuations, and the swirl of the gas stream generated by the combustion of the mixed gas in the combustor 120 are directly related. The movement of the vortex is involved with unburnt gas, different combustion speeds outside the vortex inside the vortex forming the vortex are formed, the gas inside the vortex is flamed out locally under the action of high strain, the combustion rate is reduced, and the pressure is also reduced. As the vortex is generated, grown and destroyed, the large scale vortex forms a small scale vortex, the heat release rate forms a non-uniform pulsation, and a heat pulse is generated, thereby causing sound pressure vibration in the combustor. The propagation of the sound pressure is repeated in the combustor 120 to be in accordance with the heat release frequency coupling and phase, which adversely affects the heat release process and promotes the generation of new vortices, thereby completing a positive feedback process, i.e., a periodic process.
The gas water heater according to the embodiment of the present invention utilizes the influence of the spoiler 130 between the heat exchanger and the burner 120 on the air vortex in the burner 120, thereby suppressing the combustion oscillation. Specifically, when the air flow in the combustor 120 passes through the spoiler 130, the flow direction of the passing air flow is changed, thereby breaking the air vortex.
Referring to fig. 2, a second cavity is formed between the burner 120 and the heat exchanger 110, the spoiler 130 is disposed in the second cavity on the fire grate 121, the gas in the burner 120 forms an air flow when heated by the fire grate 121, and the spoiler 130 changes a flow phase of the air flow when the air flow passes through the spoiler 130, thereby suppressing the gas in the second cavity from forming a vortex. Specifically, the housing 111 is provided with a lower opening, and the burner 120 is provided with an upper opening, which is an opening corresponding to the first cavity. The lower opening of the shell 111 of the heat exchanger 110 corresponds to the upper opening of the burner 120 to form the second cavity, and the spoiler 130 is disposed at the lower opening of the shell 111 of the heat exchanger 110, i.e., the spoiler 130 is disposed between the heat exchanger 110 and the burner 120. The space of the second cavity is larger than or equal to that of the first cavity; when the housing of the heat exchanger 110 does not form an accommodation space, the space of the second cavity is equal to the space of the first cavity. The spoiler 130 is provided with a spoiler hole. The gas in the burner 120 forms a gas flow when heated by the burner 121, and the gas flow passes through the turbulent flow holes, so that the gas in the burner 120 is restrained from forming a vortex flow, the fluctuation of the gas flow caused by combustion oscillation is restrained, and the noise generated by the combustion oscillation and the danger caused by the combustion oscillation are reduced. The flow phase of the gas flow includes the flow direction of the gas flow, the pressure generated by the gas flow, the flow direction of the gas flow, and the like.
The distance between the spoiler 130 and the fire grate 121 arranged above the burner 120 plays a very critical role in suppressing the combustion oscillation phenomenon, if the spoiler 130 is arranged too close to the fire grate 121, the spoiler has a strong role in suppressing the combustion oscillation, but the throughput of air flow can be obviously reduced, so that the heating power of the water heater is reduced, the performance of the gas water heater is affected, and the spoiler 130 is seriously ablated, so that the service life of the spoiler 130 is reduced; if the spoiler 130 is installed at a position far from the fire row 121, the effect of the spoiler 130 on suppressing the combustion oscillation is weak, and the combustion oscillation phenomenon is hardly suppressed. Specifically, the distance between the spoiler 130 and the fire bank 121 is preferably 20mm to 40mm, and preferably, the actual installation position of the spoiler 130 of the gas water heater according to the embodiment of the present invention is at a distance of 12130mm from the fire bank, so that the effect of the spoiler 130 on suppressing the combustion oscillation is significant, and the spoiler 130 itself is slightly ablated and has a long service life.
In addition, for different gas water heaters, due to the different space sizes of the second cavities, there is an optimal position for the position of the spoiler 130, which can be determined through experiments.
Fig. 4 is a top view of a spoiler of a gas water heater according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 4, the spoiler 130 is provided with spoiler holes, which include a main spoiler hole 131, a sub spoiler hole 132, and a side hole 133. Wherein, form the vortex muscle between main vortex hole 131 and the vice vortex hole 132, can effectively destroy the vortex and form, restrain the combustion oscillation phenomenon. Further, the main spoiler holes 131 may be circular and evenly distributed on the spoiler 130 at equal intervals. The auxiliary spoiler hole 132 may be concentric with the main spoiler hole 131 and may surround the main spoiler hole 131. The edge holes 133 are used to stabilize combustion, and further, the edge holes 133 may have a bar shape and be uniformly distributed near the edge of the spoiler 130. The spoiler 130 of the gas water heater of the embodiment of the invention can be uniformly distributed with 4 circular spoiler holes; four annular secondary baffle holes 132 may be distributed around one primary baffle hole 131, and one primary baffle hole 131 corresponds to two side holes 133.
Specifically, the primary orifi 131 may pass the flame and most of its heating energy within the burner 120; if the main turbulent hole 131 is too large, the turbulent effect cannot be achieved, and the combustion oscillation phenomenon cannot be inhibited; if the main spoiler hole 131 is too small, the heating efficiency is low, and the heating area of the spoiler 130 is too large, thereby reducing the service life. The auxiliary baffle holes 132 play a role of auxiliary baffle, and the auxiliary baffle holes 132 can assist the airflow in the burner 120 to pass through because the main baffle holes 131 are not too large.
In addition, the main baffle hole 131, the auxiliary baffle hole 132 and the side hole 133 in the baffle 130 of the gas water heater according to the embodiment of the present invention may be designed in other shapes or disposed at other positions of the baffle 130 on the premise of ensuring the baffle effect.
FIG. 5 is a bar graph of frequency versus acoustic power level for a gas water heater with and without a spoiler in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 5, the sound power level variation of the gas water heater with and without the spoiler installed is shown. It can be observed that the sound power level of the gas water heater with the flow-disturbing holes is lower than that of the gas water heater without the flow-disturbing holes under most frequencies, and the sound power level of the gas water heater with only a few flow-disturbing holes is equivalent to that of the gas water heater without the flow-disturbing holes or the sound power of the gas water heater with the flow-disturbing holes is higher than that of the gas water heater without the flow-disturbing holes. It is shown that the combustion oscillation phenomenon is remarkably suppressed after the spoiler 130 is installed.
According to the gas water heater provided by the embodiment of the invention, the spoiler 130 is arranged between the heat exchanger 110 and the combustor 120, so that the flow direction of the airflow in the combustor 120 is changed, the combustion oscillation phenomenon is changed or inhibited, the noise generated in the use process of the water heater is reduced, the dead fire and gas leakage of the gas water heater can be avoided, and the safety coefficient of the gas water heater is improved.
In addition, the spoiler 130 is simple and effective to install, and the spoiler 130 is simple and convenient to manufacture, so that the manufacturing cost can be reduced, and the working efficiency of processing can be improved.
